I realised I never shared this here, but this is my headcanon for the Joey Richter family tree.

There are a few things I need to explain, though:

> Owen's children:

Curt having a bunch of children he doesn't know about is a headcanon Curt Mega (the actor) has shared before and I believe the same thing to be true for Owen.

The Spankoffski mother is a special case, though: She was a child born from an affair Owen had during his time as DMA and he learned about her when her mother died a few years later. Since she didn't have anyone else, Owen took her in and raised her together with Curt.

> Ezekiel:

Ezekiel used to be a human with the touch of the gift who was killed by Hatchetmen and planted in Witchwood Forest, binding his soul to a tree. When that tree was cut down for Perky's farm, his soul was released and instead went into the weed grown there. When the nighthawks ate the weed, they also absorbed the souls of those planted in that part of Witchwood, so the human souls, identities and memories got all mixed up with those of the birds.

> Joey Richter:

The Joey Richter in this family tree is the Joey Richter from Me and my Dick. He grew up to become an actor who played Jangle in Santa Claus is going to High School and Bob Cratchit in a very popular prouction of A Christmas Carol

Ezra Richter is Joey's drama student from NPMD

Starkid is one of the absolute best arguments for supprting independent art. The fact that the shows you're invested in can't get canceled by Big Daddy Streaming, the quality is always amazing, the love of the cast and crew doesn't get squeezed out by surprise budget reductions, the fact that since crowd funding provides almost all costs up front (plus the presence of voluntary digital ticket/in person tickets for additional funding), the fan base can access the full material for whatever cost they can contribute (even if you can give nothing monetarily, you will still get a professionally shot version of the material eventually, without surprise fees or password crackdowns, AND with captions/completely accesible regardless of location). The same goes for Tin Can Bros, Shipwrecked, and all the other associated theater and web series companies loosely connected to Starkid. Like, I cannot believe the amazing content provided to us at the same level as Broadway or streaming services with billion dollars at hand, with almost none of the catches that come with others. Like, I cannot believe that we get all of this right at our hands.
