Handmade leather Temerian belt bag and belt inspired Witcher (Vernon Roche Blue Stripes)
In the game The Witcher 2: there is a special unit called “Blue Stripes”, created specifically to fight “squirrels”. The size of the squad is unknown, although it is known that there are not so many people in the Blue Stripes. Probably everyone likes Vernon Roche and his slightly eccentric subordinate Bianca, with whom many pleasant memories are associated in the game.“Some considered Vernon a…

A Walk Through Trento ~ A LARP Day in the Life
Trento is one of the five major cities in our world. Originally a part of a region called the Free Cities, it has maintained connections to the Old World in the form of a high value placed on art, performance, and culture. The original idea was that many of these plays/songs/operas would be propaganda for the local government or the shady underbelly of the world, depending on which theatre you visited. The final version of Trento is less overtly a juxtaposition, so this walk really didn't fit into our world packet, but I am still quite attached, so here it is.
Barkers line the main thoroughfare, their cacophony of voices drowning each other out. But it hardly matters since what they're advertising isn't new. This rotation of plays has been running for a while now, actors and musicians mincing their way through the pantomimes of the Void War for the last five weeks. Their audiences are only a dozen or so on average now, and Nikola knows that the barkers' methods will only get more aggressive. She hopes that it will take a while yet, her sibling's ribs have only just finished healing from the last time they refused to attend a performance when they were "invited." When they can no longer fill seats through enticement or force, the streets will be silent as the grave until new scripts suddenly appear on managers' desks, their writers unknown and messages clear as soldiers' marching orders.
Her path takes a sharp turn, as she leaves behind the theaters and shop fronts and sunlight. She has known the ever-present twilight of the Storm Quarter tenements since childhood, but they never stopped being eerie. It has been weeks since the last Void tide sent waves of chaos and nothingness sweeping inward, and the air crackles with tension that it could come any minute.
The further into the district that she goes, down toward the southeast-most corner of the city, where her master's lab sits among a dozen similar magic experimentation sites, the more often her fingers drift to the dagger concealed in the folds of her skirt. The few people she passes here murmur mindlessly as they drift up and down the narrow alleys aimlessly or slouch in doorways, staring at passersby but never really seeing them. She skipped nimbly out of the way as members of the Greenbanner Company marched past on a patrol, keeping her head down so she didn't accidentally make eye contact, and waited for them to round the corner out of sight before she knocked on the door of a seemingly abandoned warehouse in a pattern that came as easily as breathing.
A member of the Penitent, their white mantle stark against the gloom answered the door and looked fervently around before letting her in. A follower of Radiance who placed great weight in their guiding principles of honor and aid to others, she often stopped in places such as this one when she could, hideaways where those who had been damaged in Void influxes laid low, hoping that they would prove untainted and be able to return to their lives without interference of The Veils. While her talents swayed more toward mana than faith, she had some small abilities that she offered freely, remembering her father's suffering, and when she couldn't save, she offered a quick return to Fate's realm instead of a risk of Unraveling, or perhaps worse, becoming a test subject.
