𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞

(Riddle, Floyd, Leona, Malleus, Lillia)

Synopsis- reader tends to give really big and tight squeezes similar to Floyd whenever they hug/cuddle/get excited

Warnings- cursing, mood swings (Floyd), accidentally pushing away (riddle)

𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞

•he collared you for the first time

•this didn’t really do shit though considering you have zero magic.

•takes him a second to realize then un-collars you!

•After a few times of him lying through his teeth about not liking it, you figured you should stop.

•But those squeeze times had found their way into his schedule, literally.

•so when you stop squeezing him it messes his schedule up! Which is absolutely unacceptable.

•usually he wouldn’t straight up tell you his feelings but his poor poor organized schedule was falling apart! And all because you stopped the squeezing.

•“Why aren’t you doing the squeeze thing anymore?”

•You opened your mouth to answer but seeing his unusually upset expression you kept it shut

•With a shake of your head you bring him into your arms with a big squeeze.

•”Awww you like my squeezes!”

•”shh… you have three hours to make up to me”

•that meaning he made you squeeze him in bed for three hours (after his already busy schedule)

𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝

•he fell in love the moment you squeezed him.

•obviously it wasn’t as tight as he does it.

•but he still loves it nonetheless!

•he definitely pouts whenever you arnt squeezing him. Which makes it very inconvenient for Jade and you.

•he’s very clingy though, but if he saw you squeeze someone else, even if it was in a friend way. He gets so jealous!

•when you went to give him a squeeze a few hours after he saw it, he probably would yell at you.

•He has really bad mood swings so it’s not surprising but it didn’t hurt any less.

•depending on your personality this could go two ways-

•first way: you give him space

•he would be more aggressive towards everyone at first.

•Azul and Jade had begged you to calm him down but you stood your ground.

•not wanting to cross his boundaries.

•but after he gets his anger out one way or another, he realizes he royally fucked up.

•Definitely starts crying and finds you, drags you into a bed, and squeezes you. VERY HARD.

•ends in you either passing out or he falls asleep.

•second way: you wait like thirty minutes and give him another squeeze

•after about thirty minutes he should have probably calmed down

•other than his pout and occasional muttering he is actually holding onto you for dear life.

•both ways he bites you tho.

𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚

•HE IS LOVIN IT

•When you found him in the botanical garden asleep you thought this was the perfect time to cuddle with him

•momentarily forgetting about your habit

•it woke him up, he probably hisses at you, even when he realizes it’s you.

•Almost shoved you off until he notices that he really likes this.

•often orders Ruggie to escort you to him whenever he is in a bad mood or a squeeze mood.

•I’m gonna be honest I actually can’t imagine if he were to get mad at you for squeezing him, ironic considering his temper

•like Floyd he can and will bite you to get what he wants.

•he flops on top of you often and demands it with light insults.

•Maybe you should try squeezing him whenever he overblots that might work.

•soon finds out he can’t really sleep without the pressure around him.

•one night when you were on a small trip somewhere he couldn’t sleep, so he tried to squeeze himself with his tail.

𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐬

•craves it more than anything.

•please don’t stop. He will actually cry.

•he’s really touch staved, so whenever you show up and squeeze him, he returns the gesture

•thinks of it as a human way of expressing love

•which it is to you.

•he’s so adorable, you can’t understand why anyone is Afraid of him. Of course he can be scary but not to you

•He also cries when you do squeeze him, but out of happiness. So either way, if you do or don’t, he will still probably cry.

•Sebek scolds you a lot because you started this and now he often gets really mad and causes thunderstorms.

•sneaks into your dorm and kicks grim off the bed and onto the couch

•poor grim :(

•Sometimes when he’s had a particularly bad day and he needs to unwind he will come to you. Which usually ends up with him letting out some of his more dragon features.

•Not fully though, unless you are okay with him destroying a bit of your dorm house.

•overall he loves you dearly, wouldn’t trade this for anything at all.

•please keep going!

𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚

•he teases you all the time for it.

•the first time though he was genuinely surprised but wiped that expression off his face VERY quickly

•he sleeps upside down so sometimes he will ask you if you wanna stay upside down with him and do your thing

•most of the time your squeezing sessions will turn into play fight or tickle session instead

•he gets really giddy when it happens

•don’t be fooled though, he will threaten anyone you squeeze.

•also might curse them or something but you don’t need to know that!

•He’s smitten for you though, and even when it sometimes doesn’t feel like it because of his playful demeanor, he truly appreciates these moments with you

•might sometimes mutter things under his breath before he falls asleep in your arms.

• “don’t let me go..”

• “your squeezes are mine…”

•he means the second one in all seriousness though.

•this is one of the most vulnerable times when he is too sleepy to keep his silly facade

•not saying he isn’t silly naturally, but sometimes he covers up his problems with his cuteness or calm demeanor.

•He’s usually not as silly when he’s not with you, but again, sometimes he uses it to cover that he is hurting

•so please don’t call the things he is saying at the moment “silly” because he means them with his whole heart.

•just keep squeezing and reassuring him, and he will open up!

Note- totally not based off the fact I squeeze ppl when I hug/cuddle

Lillia

-you probably found silver asleep somewhere comfortable and instead of waking him up like usual (cause you're a good friend) you decide to also lay down and sleep... You most likely had History with professor Trein before this.

-Lillia just happened to be nearby, or maybe he was keeping an eye on silver, yk, like a good dad :D

- If you're napping under a tree, he might just be sitting on one of the branches

-You'd sleepily look up to him on the branches, as the old fae smiles down at you, and you, probably already half a sleep and maybe even thinking it's a dream, mumble out a soft "I wanna marry you one day.."

-poor guy almost fell out off the tree

-you can't just do that to his old heart!! You can and you did

-his expression would soften, like he'd still be smiling, but it wouldn't be his typical trickster kinda smile (please tell me you know what i mean)

-Despite his usual attitude, I feel like he was very worried about loving you. I'm a huge believer in the Idea that fae usually only fall in love once, so after Meleanor, he believed that was it, he'd never love again. And then you came into his life, like a shining star, guiding him out of the darkness.

-While he was grateful that he got a second chance at love, especially with someone as amazing as you, it's also nerve wrecking for him. The last and only time before this, he had his heart broken and ended up raising her son. Just the thought of the same thing happening again terrified him.

-But after what you just said, he won't need to worry about that anymore, right?

-Now he just needs to come up with the best way to confess... maybe he could cook you something!

Leona

-Due to Leona being a bit of a tsundere, I don't feel like he'd get you to cuddle/sleep with him before officially dating

-BUT, if you two got paired together for a project, especially if it's in the botanical garden, chances are very high, you are doing the project and he's napping

-and doing a project by yourself gets you tired, especially one meant for magic as a magicless student, so you eventually lie down next to him

-due to his sensitive hearing, he lazily opens eyes, and sees you, already half asleep, looking at him, confusing him at first not that he's complaining, till.. "Despite you making me do this project by myself, i somehow i still wanna marry you some day" and just like that you're asleep.

-He, on the other hand, is suddenly very wide awake.

-what?? you didn't mean that, right?? that's just the tiredness speaking, right?? you couldn't have meant that, right? why, or rather how, could you like him of all people?....He can't imagine being anyone's, let alone your, first choice. He's so used to being second.

-For the first time in forever, he is fully awake and can't go back to sleep, just what are you doing to him, Herbivore?

-But this means you like him back, right? alright fine, he'll put some work into confessing, just don't expect anything to grand

-He'd still be awake once you wake up again, much to your confusion, but still deliberately refuse to help. Not a word of what you said is spoken, but if you look closely enough you'll see the blush on his cheeks!

Azul

-You wanted to rest after a long day, maybe even after a long shift at the mostro lounge, and Azul was gracious enough to let you rest on one of the couches in the VIP room, while he worked. He actually wanted to appear like a gentleman in front of you and impress you.

-You can't convince me that those couches aren't comfortable. Which is why you almost immediately fall asleep the moment you lay down.

-But before you do, you make one last comment "I already want to marry you one day as is, but if it means I get to rest like this every night, I'll buy the ring tomorrow"

-If a student walked in right now, they might just confuse him with a crashed pc; or maybe with riddle, considering how red he is

-Just completely stops everything he's doing, he's in shock. he doesn't believe he can actually be loved

-It genuinely shocks him so much that you actually like him back, let alone want to marry him, but he can't say he isn't happy! So him being even more of a gentleman to you and giving you countless discounts worked! (You actually already liked him before that! but he was to busy being insecure to notice)

-Immediately starts working on a relationship contract for you two, hell, you said you want to marry him, right?? might as well start working on the marriage certificate!

-He continues to be absolutely flustered as he writes the two contracts, if either of the twins saw him right now, he'd never hear the end of it!

-Prepare to be asked to dinner at the most romantic table in the mostro lounge with Azul, where he will then ask you out and discusses your relationship as if it was a business meeting :)

I'm still in book 4, so i tried to write Lilia as in-character as possible based on what i saw of him during events and from other writers :)

1) Malleus loves to shower his darling with compliments and sweet nothings . After all , since he is the soon-to-be crowned king of Briar Valley , it is only fair that his partner gets to be treated and pampered like a princess .

2) However , his love doesn't merely stop at words . For what kind of lover would he be if he didn't also shower his darling with expensive gifts , adorning them like a sweet little doll , all wrapped up in silk and adorned with gold and jewels .

"My love , how could I possibly focus on the night sky , when you are my whole world ?"

**Bonus headcannon [🎉] : "What makes them really flustered ?"

Malleus : Any kind of physical touch . Just a soft little squeeze of the arm while the two of you are out on a walk or a sweet little peck on the cheek is enough to get his tail wagging and his cheeks flushed a bright red . His heart almost seems to melt as he just stands there , looking at you adoringly .

💚Lillia Vanrouge💚

Love language : Words of affirmation

1) Lillia just loves to see you blush when he flirts with you . He loves the way you bashfully avert your gaze when when he has made that cute little face of yours turn bright red , or the way your face seems to light up with the cutest smile after he has just complimented you .

2) Lillia also loves to playfully tease you , getting you all riled up just to see how much he could make you blush ~ To him you are just the cutest little human in the whole wide world , and your cute little flustered reactions make you all the cuter to him .

"Awh ~ Aren't you just the cutest , sweetheart ? Careful now , if you keep being so adorable I might just be tempted to eat you up !"

Lillia : Any sort of hand-made gift , whether it be a drawing , a cute little crafting project or a hand-sewn or knitted piece of clothing , he just can't help the little smirk that comes to his lips , or the oh so faint pink tint that paints his pale face when you give him something made from your own little hands . You are just so full of suprises , how could he not love you even more ?

💚Silver Vanrouge💚

Love language : Physical touch

1) Silver might not always be able to tell you "I love you" directly , unless you catch him lovingly mumbling it under his breath during one of his naps , or be able to spend as much time doing fun activities with you , but he is always up to cuddle , just wrapping you you up in his embrace and snuggling into you , giving you lots and lots of kisses all over your little face .

2) The only issue is that sometimes Silver's sleepyness can be so powerful , that he ends up trapping you in his warm embrace until he wakes up from his nap , which usually takes quite some time , so do be prepared to stay there for a while .

"... Mhm , you're so soft darling ~ Don't ... Go yet ~"

**Bonus headcannon [🎉] : "What makes them really flustered ?"

Silver : When you also return the physical affection . Cuddling with you as he sleeps is ptobably the highlight of his day , and he enjoys how soft and cuddly you are against him . Just the though of having you in his arms , all cuddled up against him .

Love language : Acts of service

1) Let's be honest , Sebek doesn't exactly have the best way with words , as no matter how he tries to word his feelings he always ends up sounding mean and bossy and aggresive .

2) And so , the only way for him to properly express his love for you is through his actions . Making sure that his darling is taking care of herself and eating proper healthy meals and sleeping the recommended amount , and doing little favours like helping you with homework , or carrying your books when they are too heavy for you to carry .

"Good morning my darling ! Have you eaten brealfast ? ... No ?!? *proceeds to get you something to eat while firmly lecturing you about how precious and valuable you are and how you should take care of yourself !*"

**Bonus headcannon [🎉] : "What makes them really flustered ?"

Sebek : Bold flirting , when his darling gets playful with her words , he just melts . How is he supposed to keep his composure and remain serious when you are calling him all these cutsey nicknames ?! Watching him just turn as red as a ripe tomato as he stumbles over his words is just the cutest thing ever ~

Summary: stay a bit longer, it’s been so long! Just…don’t leave them again…

Characters: Lillia Vanrouge, Jade Leech, Azul Ashengrotto, Leona Kingscholar

A/N: damn a 18 month hiatus is crazy huh… Also, I didn’t feel like writing a Floyd one because I’m a tired senior

Lillia Vanrouge (Curse):

Sometimes, when he closes his eyes at night, he sees you smiling at him in a field of flowers. Euphoria. Other times, he sees you lying motionless in his arms, he can still smell the toxin on your lips. He remembers everything so vividly, the way your hair shaped your cold face as he laid your body in your glass tomb. Still, hundreds of years later, he remembers his promise to you.

“For as long as my heart beats,” he whispered, “I will be restless in bringing you back to me, my love.”

So when he received a letter that you had awoken, he was overcome with emotions. As he flew back to the Valley of Thorns, he was angry at himself for missing the moment as your eyes reopened but so fucking excited to feel his cold skin against your warm self again.

They moved you to our old room in the palace, everything was the same but so much time had passed. It had been so long since…everything. You can’t walk, you can barely talk, and all basic movements feel like challenges. Everybody that you once sat around a table and laughed with was now long dead.

You were left to ponder how you could even exist in this new world. Everything you knew was gone, friends, family, and…oh no. What became of your dearest, Lillia? Did he go out as a war hero or as a criminal? Did he live to…find someone new and start a family?

This was all too much, you can’t take the thought. Everything is too much, you just wish that you could close your eyes and go back to the ways things were.

The door to your room slammed open and there stood a panting, young man. Why does he look so familiar?

“You’re…this…by the Dark- you’re awake…,” even with his stammers he sounded a lot like someone you once knew. A certain someone who you shared a final memory with.

“...Lillia,” your question comes out like a whisper as if it was taboo. Before you knew it Lillia had dropped to his knees in front of you.

“YE-yes it’s me, my love,” he corrects his voice just as quickly as it came out. His head dropped on your lap; he wanted to feel your skin on his, “please, let’s allow me to stay like this for a bit….”

Jade Leech (Moving Away):

His last memory of you was when you were both seven years old, Jade was clinging to your tail. He was sobbing and screeching for you not to move away. He remembers your parents dragging you away as his parents held him back, your figure slowly fading in with the bubbles. He hasn’t seen you since, so imagine his surprise when he receives a letter from his parents saying your family has moved back along with a photo of you.

He’s never been so excited to go home for spring break, you’re back…you’re home. And here he is stuck at school while you're just a dive away. As he tried to focus on his studies, you were now permanently stuck in the back of his head. The photo of you sits on his desk, a beacon of what waits for him after midterms.

“You seem unusually happy, Jade,” Azul says as stands in the doorway watching Jade pack his bag, “is it because they’re back?”

Jade snickers as the thought of seeing you once again fills his brain, but this meeting won’t be the same. You and him aren’t the same people as you were 10 years ago. He’s so excited to see how you’ve blossomed in the time you were away from each other.

Jade couldn’t contain his smile when he saw you waiting on the other side of the mirror. He would have been the first to greet you if it wasn’t for Floyd jumping you into a surprise hug. Once Floyd was finally off of you, Jade was finally able to speak to you once again.

“It’s good to see you again Jade,” you smile at him oh-so softly, “I’ve missed you.” You’re so fucking gorgeous, you look so different than the last time he saw you.

“Now, don’t you look breathtaking,” Jade smiles, corking his head to the side. You don’t even know that your small giggles make his heart do flips.

“Now tell me, Jade,” you say, swimming ever so close to him, “what have you been up to while I was away? “

Azul Ashengrotto (Different Schools)

Azul loves the school’s open cultural festival for several reasons. One, the Monstro Lounge does wonderfully during the three days that the event is taking place. Nothing screams profit quite like parents wanting a quiet, relaxing place to lecture their kids about their grades.

And that plays into his second reason too well, kids will do anything to get rid of their parents for a few hours. The contracts just keep rolling in for Azul as these kids sell themselves to him just to keep their parents busy and away from them.

As the Octavinelle student mans the lounge, Azul is left in his office. His leg bounced anxiously for his third reason to love the school festival to arrive. Parents aren’t the only crowd the cultural festival attracts, students from other schools flock to see the wonders that Night Raven College has to offer.

Oh, how Azul misses you. He misses the way you smile, the way you shake your hands when you get excited, the way your lips…god. He misses you so bad. With a huff, Azul brushes his hair out of his face and fixes his glasses to check his phone.

“I’m so lost right now, I can’t believe your school is this big”

“Wait…”

“Nevermind I found the Portal room, see you soon”

Is it normal to be sweating this much, it's only been a few months since he last saw you in person, only a few days since you last talked on the phone, and only a few seconds since you last texted. He can’t honestly be this nervous to see you again. What happened to cool, suave businessman Azul? The Azul that can smoothly talk his way into the best outcomes for himself. Who is this nervous mess?

“YOOOOO! AZULLLLLL,” the door slams open, with no regard for Azul’s privacy

Damn it, Floyd…

“Floyd, what have we discussed about knocking before opening the door,” Azul grits through his teeth while fixing his crooked glasses. Floyd gives nothing more than a shrug before leaving the room.

“It’s nice to see you again too, Azul,” you pout mischievously, fanning offense that your dearest octo hasn’t greeted you.

“Don’t think I’ve forgotten about you, why don’t you close the door so we may have some privacy while we…chat.”

Leona Kingscholar (Lost Contact)

Leona is a lot of things; smart, cunning, handsome, regal, but if there's one thing he isn't, it's communicative. This man can not keep a relationship running for the life of him. If you aren’t in front of him every day, Leona will just forget you exist. He doesn’t think anyone is deserving of constant contact with him.

They should be the ones to reach out to him, not the other way around. So when your letters stopped coming in, he was…surprised. You have always carried the conversation in your guy’s relationship so for you to suddenly stop is out of the normal.

Are you angry with him? Have you found someone else more worth your time?

Impossible there is no one more worth your time than the Leona Kingscholar. You must have forgotten to mail your letter in or the post must have lost it. He’ll have Ruggie go check your letter tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that until you come to your senses and mail that damn thing.

One, Two, Three damn weeks and no letter from you at all. As much as Leona thinks that it doesn’t affect him, the members can tell he’s irritated. If you ask Ruggie, he’ll say he’s seen Leona writing something at his desk and then immediately turning it to dust when he notices Ruggie’s in the room.

Oh, but Ruggie knew everything, he knew that if you stopped writing Leona he’d fall into such disarray. As much as Leon will deny it, Leona adores your letters and keeps them safely stored away in his desk for his eyes only. Ruggie’s been secretly keeping the letter you’ve been sending just to see how long it would take for Leona’s pride to break for you.

Three and a half weeks is all it took.

Leona catches Ruggie in the early morning (a time Ruggie thought Leona would never be up at) and hands him a neatly wax-sealed letter and simply instructs him to “make sure this makes it where it needs to go.” He also hands Ruggie a 5,000 Grimm bill and walks away.

You bet your sorry ass Ruggie hauled him to the post to deliver the letter.

And just like that, communication between you and Leona continued. And if you squint real hard, you can even see the faintest of smiles when he receives a new letter from you.

He can’t wait for spring break.

Chase The Nightmares Away - Bad Dream Comfort Headcanons

Lilia

First up, we have our lovely bat dad. We all know he’d probably be the perfect person to go to for nightmares.

He’s bat dad for a reason y’all.

When you walk in he’s probably still up, probably playing video games.

So when you mumble you couldn’t sleep because of nightmares, he’s pulling up a chair, getting you a blanket, and snacks. Everything you need, peepaw has it.

Wanna talk about what happened? No worries, he’s helped Silver, Sebek, and Malleus many times with their nightmares.

“Little bat? Are you alright? Ah, a nightmare. There’s no need to worry, why don’t you come sit by me and we can play this new video game together? And if you want, you can tell me about what happened.”

Sebek

Sebek, yea..good luck on getting some comfort from him. But he’ll try his best!

He’ll probably be like: Human what are you doing in here? Oh, you had a nightmare? Uhm, why are you here then?

Poor boy would be so confused.

He’ll definitely point out how weak humans are, but then I think when he sees you truly upset, he’d feel it as his duty as a knight to protect “those weaker than him”. At least that’s the excuse he’s playing when we both know the crocodile boy cares in his own tsun-tsun way.

“Human? Why are you here so late? A nightmare? I do suppose a human would be bugged by something like that. Fae are much stronger. O-oh I didn’t mean to make you more upset. Hey Everyone! So sorry for such a late post! Finals studies are kicking our butts hard, and I’m sure many of you could say the same. Hopefully you’ll enjoy this post! Lillia

You hardly ever saw Lillia sleep. He was always awake until you fell asleep, and always woke up before you did. so, you were surprised to see him soundly asleep on the couch. He seemed to be in so much peace and, being as this was such a rare sight, you couldn't help but admire him. His generally tidy hair was somewhat messier than what you were used to seeing, and his arms were crossed neatly on his chest. Although he is a man of many faces, seeing this side of him was not something you had expected when you snuck into his room but it was a very pleasant surprise. You smiled at his calm expression, moving away a stray hair with your finger, careful to make sure you wouldn’t wake him. However, you reluctantly admitted to yourself that you were tempted to wake him purely to free yourself from this boredom. Yet, rather than do just that, you decided to scan the room. Your eyes wandered around the room to land on a pillow in the corner. Quietly, you shuffled over to the pillow, picking it up, when you had your bright idea. You silently left Lillia’s room and immediately started to search for Silver. Being as he could fall asleep in any situation, he had to have some idea of where to get an abundance of pillows. After some searching, you finally found Silver, and (thankfully) he was not asleep. “Silver!” You whispered, to which he quickly turned to meet your gaze. You explained your plan, which he clearly entertained, and he told you all of the best places to get some pillows for your fort.

You made your rounds around campus, asking for pillows from every person entering your proximity. Eventually you collected more than enough to construct your retreat, and you began making a cozy cave for you and your bat-like boyfriend.

Lillia stirred awake, and smiled seeing you carefully stack your loot. A sudden, “What are you making?” startled you, as you turned to face your boyfriend. “Something!” You teased. “I’ll tell you when it’s ready!” You said as you ushered him out of the room. Lillia was taken aback by this, but was not disappointed, eagerly waiting for your surprise.

When it was ready, you went to meet him outside of the room with a blindfold, which you quickly tied around his eyes. ”Get ready…” you snickered as you gently guided him back to the room. “Ta da!” You cheered, taking the blindfold off with care. Your boyfriend saw your work and immediately lit up. “It’s absolutely splendid!” He smiled, planting a soft kiss on your cheek. “I must say that this was well worth the wait!” He chuckled, crawling into the labyrinth of endless pillows. “Come join me!” He yelled to you, which you did promptly. The pillow fort was nicely lit by the lantern you stumbled across on your journey through campus, and you had to admit that you were proud of your work. Lillia greeted you with a gentle smile, ushering you closer to him. “It’s perfect” he whispered, kissing your forehead. “I can’t wait to fall asleep here with you.”

Silver

When you found Silver lying unconscious in his bed, you were unsurprised. He was your sleeping beauty after all. You quietly shut the door to his room, and inched closer to his side. “Hey Silver” you whispered.. He continued breathing at a steady pace, unbothered by your many attempts to wake him. You sighed and laid silently next to him. Looking at your lover's soft expression on his face you couldn’t help but smile. Although he wasn’t here with you right now, his little excursion to dreamland was clearly bringing him happiness. You placed your head onto his chest, moving up and down at a rhythmic pace. His pulse was slow and calm like a pond in the early morning.

Laying alone in your thoughts, you came up with a wonderful idea. You could surprise him with a pillow fort when he woke up! You gathered pillows in his room, however realized that there weren’t nearly enough. You quietly exited your lover's room and snuck around the entire dorm collecting pillows from as many people willing to donate to your cause, as well as unknowing volunteers (lots of love Ace and Deuce but it was necessary ♡). Now carrying your loot back to his room, you again entered quietly. As you put together your creation, Silver stirred slightly, indicating he would wake up soon. You added the finishing touches, and prepared for his awakening.

When he finally awoke, clearly drowsy, he immediately noticed your creation. “Huh? Who-“ you jumped from the corner and screamed “BOO!” Your boyfriend sat in obliviousness for a while; his mind was still lingering in his dreamland. He smiled warmly when he finally came to his senses, pulling you gently at your waist and tenderly laying you next to him on the bed. “How was your day princess?” He questioned softly while playing with your hair. You explained all of the minuscule adventures you had within your day, while he listened to all of your words, fully processing even the smallest details, until you finally reached your most recent quest. “I think my pillow fort turned out amazing!” You smiled pointing to your work. “You should test it!” He happily obliged, standing up and drowsily shuffling towards the fort. He sank down inside the fort, clearly comfortable. “I’ll be right back” you whispered, sneaking into the kitchen to get some hot tea, which you placed on a nearby table. “How is it?” You questioned upon your return, cuddling up closer to him inside. “It’s absolutely perfect” he sighed, rolling to his side to hold you. You lay in your lover's arms, slowly drifting off into your own world of wonder as Silver explained his own adventures in his dreams. Silver was quick to notice you had fallen asleep, but he chose to continue laying at your side, petting your head. Bringing his face closer to your ears he whispered, “No worries princess. I’m always here to protect you.”

Idia

It was common to find Idia curled up on the bed smothered in multiple blankets playing on his favorite consoles after your studies. As expected, when you opened the door Idia sat with his controller in hand, his mind clearly sucked into the game world. You slipped into the room, and stood next to him. Although you thought he had noticed you, due to the lack of acknowledgement, you decided that rather than tap him on the shoulder and have him react in whatever way, you grabbed the closest pillow and gently threw it towards him. You were quick to realize that this was in fact, the safer decision. Responding to the pillow, Idia jumped out of the comfort of his blanket burrito to hit the pillow full force across the room. The both of you, now equally startled, stared each other down until he broke the silence. “Now that. Was. Terrifying.” He panted out. You couldn’t help but burst out into laughter, “I am so glad I didn’t tap your shoulder” You said, gasping for breath between the laughs. Although he was very clearly embarrassed, his smiled softly, and he walked towards you to greet you with a warm embrace. “Yeah I’m glad you didn’t either.”

You hugged your boyfriend back when he questioned, “How was your day hmm?” Delighted by his question you rambled on about your day, with your boyfriend sitting on the bed. and you getting comfortable on the floor right beside him. He always listened to your voice intently. “How about you?” You asked eagerly once you had finished your epic tale. “The usual really”, he shrugged. However, as he caught the console in his sights quickly added, “I started playing this great game though! Come see!” He patted the bed, signaling to you that it was ok for you to get closer.

You watched Idia play as he explained the gameplay, but as he continued, your eyes could no longer keep up with what he was doing. No wonder he was so focused! You shrunk away, realizing Idia was back in the hypnotic state you found him in. Eyeing the pillow across the room, you had a great idea. Building a Pillow Fort would surely be an entertaining use of your time, and Ortho could use it too!

You snuck around your lover’s room with stealth, quickly gathering all of the pillows you could possibly find. You stacked the pillows up one by one, careful to balance all of the pillows neatly. You then found some fairy lights and strung those up nicely as well.Quite pleased with your work, you skipped over to Idia and whispered into his ears, “Pause for just a bit?” He obliged to your request, and you asked him to close his eyes. “I’m going to lead you over there ok?” You held his hands in yours tenderly as you led him over to the other side of the room, careful to avoid the many obstacles and wires. “Ta-da!” You exclaimed, as your boyfriend timidly opened his eyes. His eyes immediately brightened after seeing your hard work. “I’m going to grab a few things and I’ll be right back!” He shuffled across his room excitedly to grab a couple blankets and a tablet before coming back to the fort. The two of you laid the blankets out together and dragged over a small coffee table to set the tablet on. The two of you, now comfortable in your now perfect retreat, started browsing potential movies to watch. After several minutes of scrolling you found the perfect one.

“Hey Idia” you whispered as the movie started. “Hm?” He responded. “Can we cuddle please?” You asked softly. Your boyfriend’s hair laced itself with pink in an instant, which is when you quickly added, “We don’t have to if you don’t want to of course.” He hid his face in his hands before muttering, “If it’s ok with my player two.” You chuckled, “I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t ok, silly,” scooching closer to your lover.

Azul

Being as Azul was a very busy person (running the monstro lounge and all of his other schemes) it wasn’t uncommon to see him drifting to sleep at his desk or on a chair; which was exactly how you saw him when you snuck into his room. He would somehow ball himself up as he slept which you always found cute. You debated leaving as it seemed it was quite a busy day for everyone in Octavinelle, even Jade seemingly losing some of his composure and Floyd’s mood was crumbling down. But plans changed when your eyes fell on a pillow. What better way to boost the morale of your lover than with a surprise! You carefully slipped out of his room and began collecting pillows left and right across campus.

By the time you came back to Octavinelle it looked like you were drowning in the sheer amount of pillows you were carrying. Both Jade and Floyd chuckled in amusement witnessing this event.You placed the pillows in your boyfriend's room, and turned to the eel twins. You winked at them while signaling them to stay quiet to which they signaled back, snickering in understanding. You silently closed the door, and got to work, piling one pillow atop the other until you created a beautiful pillow fort–complete with lights and a blanket.

You tapped on Azul’s shoulder and whispered into his ear, “A long day huh?” As he stirred awake, rubbing his eyes open he sighed back “You couldn’t even imagine.” His eyes then met your structure and he sat in his chair in surprise. “What’s this?” He questioned. “Surprise!” You smiled, explaining all of the features to your wonderful fort with childlike excitement . Azul couldn’t help but chuckle at this. “It’s everything I could have wanted and more.” He chuckled, taking your hand in his and kissing it before making his way to the fort. “It seems you know my preference for small spaces!” He smiled, amused, before climbing in. You joined him excitedly “it has enough room for me too!” Being as the space was quite small, the two of you ended up in a warm embrace. Azul recounted all of the happenings of the day. As you both lay in the fort, both you and Azul eventually drifted asleep in each others’ arms. Spying on the two of you, Jade and Floyd giggled, snapping photos of the two of you. “Let’s show them later.”

-This might seem rather basic and almost thoughtless at first, but these roses truly hold his entire heart

-There is the factor that his mother most likely raised him very traditional and conservative, so he was taught to gift his lover flowers

-Also, this is probably his first relationship, and the people around him, as well as the internet, will have told him that red roses, the flowers of love, is a good gift.

-but there is so much more to it than just that

-Both heartslabyul and especially the red roses are very dear to him, after all, the red roses are a, if not the, symbol of the queen of hearts and her kingdom. He himself tries to be as similar to the queen of hearts as possible, heartslabyul practically his kingdom

-By gifting you these Hand picked roses, from the Heartslabyul garden, he, as the so-to-say queen of heartslabyul, is gifting you a part of the most important part of his kingdom, and by extension, a part of him

-the roses are, of course, hand picked with extreme care, it's to ensure that you will truly only get the best of the best, because in his eyes, you deserve even more than just perfection.

Leona

His dorm uniform jacket

-Another one that might seem basic and meaningless at first

-But once again, there's more to it!

-Kings are most easily recognised by their crowns. Since he isn't the firstborn, and therefor not king, he doesn't have a crown.. But at NRC, the Housewardens are recognized by their unique dorm uniform, it's his version of a crown, so to say.

-Also, most beast men, including lions, mark their territory through scent, similar to their animal counter parts.

-And since he usually skips classes and spends a majority of his time in his dorm, he's usually wearing it!.. well, was, until he gave it to you. It's his way to mark you without outright admitting it

-Being second in line, most of his kingdoms treasures and similar things, have always been given to his older brother, so with the few things that are his, that he considers precious, he's very territorial about. and that includes you, the love of his live.

-The beastmen will smell his scent, and almost all other students will most likely recognize the jacket, both resulting in them leaving you be. An absolute win in his book.

-Also, when a king marries his lover, he gifts them the crown of his kingdom, but he is no king and therefore has no crown, so instead he'll gift you his housewarden jacket as a sign that you rule alongside him

Lilia

a precious fae gem

-No matter how young Lilia try's to act, in the end he's still an old man

-He'd give a thousand year old gem, that still somehow looks perfect. Maybe it's embedded into a necklace, maybe a ring.

-If you can take it out of it's original casing, he'll definitely put it into your favorite type of jewelry!

-chances are, it has been in his family for generation, or it was a gift from someone dear to him during the war, like Baul or Meleanor. Either way, this gem is very dear to him, although not nearly as dear as you!

-Him giving you this gem, is his way of telling you how serious your relationship is to him, that he definitely plans to marry you one day, and, most importantly, that in his eyes, you're already a part of the little family he has build himself

-In fact, chances are, that he gave you this gem after he saw you acting particularly like a parent caring towards silver, it just proofed how perfectly you fit in!

-He would have used it as part of your engagement ring, but he wants that to perfectly suit your taste. Also, that means it'll eventually be replaced by a marriage band, and he wants you to be able to wear the gem even after marriage, till the rest of your days.

Azul

Master key

-Azul values his privacy. A lot.

-As a child, he could seemingly never get away from his bullies, and even now, when he gets overwhelmed or reminded of his trauma, he sometimes feels helpless. So, chances are he secured a small room where he could get away, somewhere even the twins don't have access to.

-But you? you're the only exception. It seems that no matter what, you always manage to calm him down, he doesn't understand why or how, but you do. It almost scares him.

-For him to give you this, you'd also have to be in a relationship for quite a while, at least around a year. Bullying causes insecurities, and insecurities can cause quite the trust issues.

-He'd be so nervous about giving you it. What if it's a mistake? What if you think it's weird? But he loves you enough to pull through. He try's to play it cool. He Fails.

-Now you often surprise him at work, or specifically seek him out when you know he's upset. It flusters him every time, but he has yet to regret his decision :) He never will, he is heels over head in love with you

A piece of his moms jewlery

-This was more of a side thought, but i found it cute and wanted to expand a bit on it.

-Azul is an absolute mamas boy in my eyes, she made sure he grew up to be a gentleman once he grows up

-So, when he visits home, he most likely tells her about you!

-And she, in true motherly nature, is just like "How sweet, my baby is in love! Oh, how about you bring them back a gift! Do they like jewelry?"

-And suddenly he comes back with a piece of her jewelry, soon to be yours. He's just happy she seems to approve of you :)

-A blushing, nervous wreck, as he gives it to you and explains the reason for it

-Every time he sees you wearing it after that, he just starts stuttering while turning red. The other members of the board game club are very confused, they know you two are dating, but that doesn't explain why he turned into a tomato..oh hey, is that some new jewelry, prefect?

Fried my brain trying to find the perfect things haha, Lilia was definitely the hardest, but very fun to write nonetheless!

Is it possible for you to write a small bit about Mc talking to Lilia Vanrouge about how they also took care of children at their old world too? But children who just need a little more help than others via low/no-income, some mentally challenged, health conditions, over all being caring for those who need it the most because others won't or can't.

And explain that they want to go back home for them but scared they won't be able to. And admits they may be willing to restart their life and help others if they can't go back home.

You stirred the tea with your spoon, the soft ringing breaking the comfortable silence between you and Lillia.

“So,” you said after taking a sip, “how was your day?”

“Quite uneventful really,” he responded while drinking his own tea. “Silver fell asleep in his classes again.”

Your eyebrows pulled together, “I hope he didn't get in too much trouble.”

“No, just a light scolding.”

You stared at the cup in front of you.

“He actually reminds me of someone.” You whispered. Lillia quirked an eyebrow in response, a small ‘oh’ escaping his lips.

“I used to work at a daycare,” you started, “There was this boy, Sam, he came in after school and stayed until his parents picked him up.” Lillia hummed in response. “He was always tired, and he used to fall asleep in his classes so he struggled with school a lot.” You took another sip of the rooibos. “He wasn't the only one there that struggled , and I really miss those kids.” You let out a small sigh. Lillia looked at you, with pity or compassion you couldn't tell.

“I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I was just taken from my children.” Lillia confessed, staring into his own cup.

“If I can’t go back,” the thought alone made your throat tighten, “Then I’ll try my best here.”

“That’s very kind of you,” he said, “and I’ll be happy to help if you need it.”

You shot him a smile and kissed him on the cheek. “Thanks for the offer.”

White lilies were placed upon an ancient grave, unaffected by times shifting sands. The winds blow through the leaves overhead, the moon full and bright with its soft luster.

Crimson eyes cast downwards, looking at the ivory tomb, a small tear escaping his eye. It had been centuries since he had last seen her smiling face, eyes unafraid, unaffected by the war raging in those tumultuous times of a bygone era.

" Carry me to my love

O'er the sea to the clouds above

Where I know she's waiting for me

Dancing happily in fields of the most brilliant wildflowers, smiling warmly as he returned home, to their little cottage holding their son in all but blood in her arms. The smell of a home-cooked meal wafted through his senses after a long day's work.

Of a warm cloth washing the splatters of blood off his face, murmured praises of joy and relief, as he had returned home safe to her arms once again.

Of a warm spring day, with a picnic amongst the field of flowers in the ancient heart of the forest, soft songs like silver bells spilling from rose colored lips.

The smell of ink, parchment, and wildflowers was a scent he had long since memorized; and would never forget so long as he lived. Her songs forever rang through his mind.

" Take me away to the shining light

Over the waves peaceful at night

There among the stars glowing in the dark

You watch over me

Smiling down patiently "

The fae were often fickle beings, so quick to gain interest and just as quick to lose it. The dark fae specifically, doing what they wanted when they wanted. Yet she still smiled so freely around him, despite what he was. He could have killed her easily, with a simple spell or a twist of the neck.

But her songs, her hypnotizing voice, the way she stood up for what she believed in. So cunning in the way she avoided the pitfalls most humans would unwittingly fall into. How she matched his wit word for word, even though she was fully aware of who and what he was. It enchanted him, in a way no one had before.

Many moons passed in this way, them meeting in a clearing of delicate blooms, growing closer and closer. He offered her an escape from the horrors soon to befall her town, the fae was not obligated to warn her- to allow her to fall with the rest.

But the fae was just as equally possessive of what they considered theirs as they were ruthless. And somehow this human girl charmed her way into his heart, even though he knew that a human's lifespan was nothing but a mere blink for his kind.

She left her cross of rowan, her iron, and salt; taking his hand, accepting his offer with a warm smile, not a single ounce of fear within her eyes. She had no one else, an outcast, a witch the priest had called her. A wild caring soul that was so unsuited to the confines of her village.

Love blossomed between them, the times they spent together in peace. Even as he went to war, raging through the battlefields slaughtering the enemy side, commanding the Thorn Fairy's with pride and bravery. Peace was always awaiting him once he returned home.

Yet fate was a cruel mistress, on the day he was to return, an urgent meeting was called, one that lasted 3 days and three nights.

When he returned to their field his heart dropped, seeing the cottage door busted open. In a panic he rushed into the cottage fearing for his wife and son. Blood splattering the walls, a corpse of a human soldier, his skull bashed in, laid slumped against the wall. Urging forward he ran to their shared room, eyes widening when he saw his bloodied wife hunched over a small bundle still wiggling, a soft cry being heard.

The residue of magic lingered heavily in the air, two more corpses, well- more like silhouettes of charred ash, marred the walls. It was the first time in his long existence that he had cried, sorrow resounding through him along with unbridled rage. His beloved, his dearest flower, the sun to his moon died defending their home, protecting their son.

Gingerly he took the swaddled bundle covered in his mother's blood, hushing the crying babe.

He created a beautiful grave for his fallen love, ancient magic protecting it from the weather. Placing a small kiss upon the tombstone he turned, child in his arms did he return to the valley.

They would pay for this unforgivable act.

Time marched on, and he carved a name for himself, forever etched within the annals of history. Treatises were drafted and ink dried on the parchment. There was peace for the first time in hundreds of years.

And now here he is once again, just like every year since her passing. Leaning against the cold stone, talking to her grave. The color of Diasomnia's uniform illuminated by the light, he stood glancing at the three who stood behind him in silence, his precious boys. They had grown so much, it felt unreal.

He had always come with Silver, recalling tales of his brave and wild mother of her sacrifice. However, this time he had his prince and his other guard with him.

" I wish you could have met her " he chuckled softly " she would have doted on you, like her own child, Malleus "

He sighed glancing down at her grave once more, eyes forlorn

" May we meet again, my beloved wildflower. "
