Chapter 2

Around noon the next day my phone started ringing as I was reviewing a paper my boss had send me over night and with smooth movements I answered the call that's from my personal phone.

"Hello, This is (Y/N) (L/N) you're speaking to." I stand from my seat with my empty cup so I can refill it with coffee that I made earlier in the kitchen.

"Hey, this is Jane." I sit the cup down on the island.

"Oh yes Jane, how are you today?" I said as I grab a small bottle of creamer from a cabinet.

"I'm doing good, Shikarmaru and I has come to a agreement that's you are the one to adopt him but on one condition of keeping contact with me after the adoption." I put one spoon full of mocha creamer into my cup before pouring coffee in it.

"Of course." I take a sip of my coffee.

"Great! I'll be over sometime today with Shikarmaru and his things along with the adoption papers you need to sign." We talked a few more seconds before hanging up as I returns back to my office to finish the paper as quickly as I can without getting sloppy so I can spend the rest of the day with Shikarmaru after the signing. An hour of finishing my paperwork and removing a few things from the guest bedroom that will soon be Shikarmarus, a knocking sounds through the silent house and opening the door to see Jane standing with Shikarmaru as three large totes sits beside them. I quickly greet them and allowing them into the house before grabbing all three totes in one go, I place them next to the couch where Jane and Shikarmaru has sit themselves.

"Would you like to see your new room while we sign the papers?" Shikarmaru shrubbed his shoulder in a sure lazy gesture before I lead him to the bedroom closest to my office and let him explore the room by himself as I returns to Jane.

"Just sign here and here on the x. This is a list of things he likes and don't like with my contact info in case you need it." She pulls a piece of paper from a folder filled with other sheets of paper of Shikarmaru's information and slides it over to me after signing papers.

"I keep this paper saying that I have handed over my guardianship of Shikarmaru to you, just in case if something happens." I nod in agreement before following behind Jane to Shikarmaru's room.

"You like it?" Jane asked which Shikarmaru nods before running to her and hugging her around her waist.

"I'll miss you." Shikarmaru tighten his hold at that causing Jane to smile.

"Don't worry I'll try my best to call you as must as I can but you have to be good for me, ok." She give him a kiss on the head before letting him go.

"I better get going since I still have a lot pack for the move, take great care of him." We walked to the front door.

"I will." I sit a hand on one of Shikarmaru's shoulders as we watch her get into her car and drive away.

"You want any help or you got it?" I lay on the three large totes in Shikarmaru's new room, he pushes the tote filled with clothes toward me as he goes to put up his other things. With a smile I began to neatly put away the clothes until I saw Shikarmaru setting up a round of Shōgi when I glanced over to see what's he's doing.

"You want to play a few rounds after dinner?" I asked which he nods at as I place the last few clothes that are left in the tote.

"What do you for dinner?" He shrubs his shoulders not really caring as he picks up his game which he placed back into the box to bring it into the living room leaving his tote open for later, I place the empty tote next to his door before following him. I look through the fridge and cabinets to see what I have to fix for dinner making a mental note to go grocery shopping soon since I only see enough to make Katsu curry.

"Thirsty." Shikarmaru give my pant leg a soft pull after completing setting up his Shōgi board on the coffee table.

"What do you want? Water, juice, or something else?" I asked after placing the last ingredient on the counter before going back to the fridge with Shikarmaru following behind, he looks a few seconds before grabbing the bottle of water I had sitting in the door and run back to the living room to lay on the back of the armchair I had sitting in front of a window so he could watch the clouds as he waits for dinner. Smiling at his adorable little run I got to cooking, not before long I find myself sitting in front of the Shōgi board making a move after I had cooked everything and we have eaten.

"You lose." I sighed at the defeat but at least I win one game out of the three times we played in the last few hours, even though I have a feeling he just give me the win.

"Come on, it's time for bed and we can play some more tomorrow." I said after noticing it's dark outside and that Shikarmaru's eyes starting to droop, I pick him up under his arms and pack him to his room.

"Let's get you pjs on and then you can sleep after brushing your teeth, ok?" IMAGINE when you first change into the uniform, Gojo is ON you. He literally jumps into your arms. If it weren’t for the fact that you were already trained, you would have fallen. You did stagger and almost slip. He coos over your ears petting them incessantly. Shoko and Geto watch, unamused but also interested.

IMAGINE every time you walk past Geto and Gojo, they take turns yanking your tail. At first you assumed it was Gojo, but soon you realized they were friends for a reason. They were both menaces.

IMAGINE Gojo who often compliments your marble-like eyes. Although, he gets upset when anyone else compliments them.

IMAGINE After a solo mission, you return to the dormitories. Too tired to get to your own room, you decide to rest on the couch in the common room. Geto, who had stayed awake waiting for you, was laying on the couch as well. In your exhaustion, you didn’t notice him. Nor did you notice that you had laid your head on his chest. As you immediately fell into deep sleep, he took this as an opportunity to stroke your ears and hair. This was already picture perfect moment for him. The joy he felt seeing you in such a vulnerable position was unlike anything’s he’s felt before. The moment was only made better when he heard you purring. He was quick to take out his phone and record you. He also made sure to send a pic or two to Gojo.

IMAGINE Not even a second later, he heard long gallops headed towards him. And quick as lightning, Gojo yanked you off of Geto and carried you all the way to his room. Scoffing at the albino’s actions, he made sure to follow. He didn’t send the photo for you to be stolen away!

IMAGINE As soon as he got to Gojo’s room, he held you like a monkey would a branch. A leg draped over your thighs and an arm wrapped over your shoulders. Gojo gives Geto a scalding glare as the dark haired male makes his way into the bed. He lays next to you, holding onto one of your free hands.

IMAGINE You wake up, feeling heavy limbs over your body. The ceiling looks like your own room, but the decorations on the wall were completely different turning to your left is Geto. With fair skin and small purple hues under his eyes, you were struck by his natural beauty. His raven hair draping over his face artistically. Turning to your right, was the eye-catching Gojo. His long lashes delicately falling over his cheek. His vibrant hair looked like a halo with the sun’s rays. After taking the time to admire them both, you start to wiggle, trying to fight off their heavy limbs. The awaken at your jarring movements. Looking at each other they smirk as they tightened their hold. After enough thrashing they loosen their limbs. You take the opportunity to successfully jump out of that nest. You sigh seeing you were still in your uniform.

As you turn to leave, Gojo had a very important question to ask

(Y/n) gave a happy smile as another customer entered the boar's hat tavern, she was a half demon of sorts, the term used most often to describe her is Neko. The town she lived in despised her, believing she was a bad omen. One day they set her home a blaze, she would have died had it not been for the blonde she now called captain. The group had been passing through, Meliodas had been quick to take action when he saw the girl caught under some wood as her house burned around her. After that she decided to go with them, working as a waitress for the last 6 months of her life. They had done so much in 6 months, the (H/c) haired girl had never thought she'd go on such adventures. Right now, they were resting in a field by another town, the tavern becoming popular fast.

Currently it was around lunchtime on a beautiful spring day, (Y/n) rushed about to pass out food and take new orders. Being part cat, she had a lot of speed and balance, making it easy for her to make sure Elizabeth didn't drop anything. Meliodas was watching her from the bar with a sweet smile, that smile that stole her heart. She blushed darkly at the thought as she went about her work, she actually enjoyed these days. It was a beautiful day, and the air was so fresh, people happily chattered and ate. There was an energy there, one that (Y/n) loved. Her tail swished a bit as she moved around, even catching a plate Elizabeth had almost dropped with said tail.

She arrived at a table close to the door, 3 males had come into tavern and looked to be bounty hunters of sorts. Either way they were more than a little intimidating. "Welcome to the boar's hat, what can I get you?" Merlin had been feeling artsy one day, so they had finally gotten menus. She and Elizabeth were grateful for this, as it made their job easier. "Just a round will do little lady, though I wouldn't mind eatin' ya later." He winked at her, making her blush but internally cringe at the poor attempt at a pickup line. She was quick to nod and make her way to the bar to tell Meliodas, something about his smile seemed less happy. The blonde had easily heard what the males said, even with all the noise he always knew what was happening in his territory. "Hey Cappy, something wrong?" The nickname made him chuckle, that happiness she gave him quickly returning. "Nothing to worry about, did you need something (Y/n)?" The young woman nodded, leaning against the bar. "I need 3 mugs of ale for table 4." Meliodas was quick to fill the mugs and place them on her tray, emerald eyes watching her retreating form as she walked away to give the men their drinks.

The short blonde watched her turn to the table beside the 3 men, her ears twitching as she could clearly hear the filthy things the 3 behind her were talking about. Unfortunately, she didn't see the one closest to her reaching out to try and lift her skirt, though before his fingers came an inch closer to the fabric Meliodas was there. He held the man's hand by the wrist, squeezing harshly and making him cry out as all went quiet. (Y/n) had spun around, astonished to see the captain so angry. "Now hasn't anyone ever told you not to touch a woman without permission?" The other 2 jumped up but Ban and King were quick to drop them to their knees. From there they threw the men outside, Meliodas turning to everyone with a smile and scratching the back of his head. "Sorry about that, everyone get back to eating and remember to keep your hands to yourselves. Ok?" Everyone seemed to nod simultaneously, (Y/n) was quick to step closer to the short male. Her ears laid back and tail curled around her waist, he may be smiling but she could still feel his irritation. "Hey Cappy?..."

When Meliodas looked to her he visibly relaxed, his smile becoming more real. "Sorry if I scared you, that guy was reaching for your skirt when you were taking orders." That had soothed the woman's anxiety, her ears and tail returning to normal. "Oh alright, thank you Cappy." A voice could be heard asking for a refill and (Y/n) was quick to respond, leaving the blonde to watch her walk away. He'd never let anyone touch her like that, not until he could make her his.
