What ship were you completely obsessed with as a teenager, but now you don’t care about anymore?

As a teenager... well, that was quite a while ago lol. I suppose that would have been Harry/Draco. First fandom, first queer pairing, first smut stories. I was such a sweet sweet summer child XD The early 00s were wild

Which ship would you consider your first one?

Soooo. Funny story. Way back when, I got into fanfiction via fanfiction.net. You know how their filter system is bad/non-existent? Yeah. Little me, on her first outing to ffnet, didn’t know how to operate the character settings. I clicked on the first story on the top of the first page of the HP section. It was a Snape/Hermione star-crossed lover deal. It flash-fried my brain, taught me content curation in a crash course and incidentially made me partial to the ship for quite a few years...

Your first fanfic was about which couple?

See above lol. I will never ever forget the experience. I tried to find that story later for downloading (like an ugly beloved keepsake ig lol) but never managed.

Have you ever gotten into ship discourse?

Nope. Scraped by a few times since I entered the tumblr bubble but managed to stay out of it. I don’t get the point. It's freaking fictional characters in fictional worlds. Go touch grass or something instead... (but you will make me fucking mad if you try to drag me into these things with wild ad hom accusations based on what i ship or dont ship)

Did you used to have a NOTP or have one currently?

No, not really. It's only ever preferences. There are some I dislike due to my own hc/inability to suspend my disbelief but I wouldn’t call them NOTPs. I just don’t read them.

Who were the last couple in the last fanfic you read?

Currently, do you have any OTPs?

I actually dislike the term OTP. It's a scale of preferences for me. There are few (read: none) fav characters that I can only see with one love interest (and anyway, sometimes i do prefer plot over love story. wild take i know) and the more time I spend in a fandom the more I diversify.

Is there any couple that, to this day, you are extremely mad about not getting into?

I don’t get this question, sorry. If I'm interested, I'll search it out. Even if the fandom is old. AO3 is an archive for exactly that reason.

Is there any ship you used to dislike but now you think they’re kind of interesting?

Not that I can think of, at the moment!

Do you have any ship that, in the past, would have been considered normal but now you would be cancelled over?

Probably? I'm not clear on what all one is getting cancelled over this week/month/year by which group of 'concerend bystanders'. I suppose I might get cancelled for the mentioned Hermione/Snape?

What is your favourite crack ship?

I'm so glad you asked. It's clearly Dream/Helm (thank you for that @writing-for-life ) Or Gollum/The One Ring (thanks go to Neil himself here). Or - actually, never mind lol.

What is the couple you read the most fanfics about?

At the moment it's Dreamling. But I cycle through fandoms/pairings periodically...(btw im looking for more Johanna/Death? If anyone could point me in the right direction?)

What do most of your ships have in common?

At least one character has a dark/unknown/violent/tragic past (they can be victim or perpetrator!!! I'm all for character development babey)

What do you absolutely hate in a ship?

I don’t hate ships? As I said above. Possibly the reduction on 'I can fix him/her' or 'my love will save him/her from depression/"the darkness"/etc.' but that is mostly a matter of the author's style of crafting characterization and plot and has nothing to do with the ship itself.

Guidelines

This blog is typically set Pre-N52 however with discussion I am open to threads set in Rebirth and beyond.

Introduction. I’m Jet. Old bean. 25+. Any pronouns are fine. I slip up and use UK spelling sometimes. I've been RPing Donna for over a year. Tumblr IMs are always open to mutuals. Dis.cord is case by case basis. Donna defaults to mid-late 20s though I'm happy to write her older or younger.

General

This is a single muse indie blog (that follows back from batcowmaster), though I may have mains or exclusives with certain other blogs.

This blog is multi-ship

I will not under any circumstances accept racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and so on. I also do not accept whitewashing muses. All in all – don’t be a dick, be respectful, treat others with kindness and understanding.

I don’t really check my tracked tag so it’s best to @ me in a post or message me with a link if that fails if you want me to see something.

This blog is fairly private, I don’t tend to follow first anymore and reserve the right to not follow back. If I don’t intend on following back I will probably soft-block. If I find your blog triggering for any reason I will hardblock. I will unfollow/block if something makes me uncomfortable or our writing styles don’t mesh. Please only follow if you’re 18+.

I only rp with mutuals so if I'm not following you back on batcowmaster we're not mutuals, if you send me an IC ask and we’re not mutuals I may block you. OOC asks are okay, especially if they’re development questions.

Please be patient with me, I have a lot of health issues and my job! I also have memory issues due to my health so if I forget something please just let me know. I try to stay on top of things but life happens.

Most general comic book icons are made by me and they’re very time consuming. Please don’t steal them. However I also paid for and downloaded this pack of icons for Donna. And I downloaded icons from here, here and here. My writing on this blog does not represent the comic book company, their views, the opinions of the character in canon, any fc’s actions or opinions.

Plotting

I love developing deep and rich stories for my muses. Backstories, plotlines, development. Plotting is how I do best in RP. I tend to ask for it a lot if I want to cultivate a partnership with another RPer. Consider this me wanting to invest in our muses. If you never willing to engage in plotting I may unfollow as I find it really difficult to come up with starters and replies if we never plot. This is especially important if we have muses that have familial bonds or we are trying to ship.

Please do not assume our characters have met or have any form of relationship unless it is canon. And even then I’d like to plot what kind of relationship you’re interpreting from the canon.

Godmodding & Metagaming

I consider godmodding to be: controlling my character in threads (thoughts and actions), big plot moves made without consideration or consent, and drawing conclusions about my character that haven’t been discussed with me. I do not accept godmodding. Although, I will accept NPCs and actions that need to happen to move the thread along that don’t require you to wait for a response from me to push ahead (e.g. if your muse hands me a normal bottle of water you can assume my muse has taken a sip. If the bottle of water is poisoned, however, wait for a reply or check with me ooc). Big plot beats need to be discussed before moving ahead.

Metagaming is along the same veins as godmodding. Just because there are detailed bios and hcs don’t assume your character has intimate knowledge about mine. Please ask me and plot these things out. I am happy to do meta-asks like hcs or interview questions but if your muse didn’t send it IC it means they didn’t hear the answer IC. Dash Commentary is for the most part crack and unless plotted your muse does NOT have the dash commentary knowledge in serious canon.

I do accept interlacing. For me interlacing is when your character references my version of the muse in other threads. E.g. if my muse and yours went to the zoo in a thread, yours is free to talk about what happened in that thread to other characters.

Threads

I try and keep on top of my threads. I draft things if I can’t reply to them straight away and then will typically sort through those drafts later. If you think I’ve missed something please let me know, I love a good reminder and won’t consider it nagging. It only crosses my boundary it it’s consistent pestering. I typically tell partners if I’ve dropped something. I will keep drafts for sometimes even ten months if I’ve been busy and struggling. If I have too many replies for you and it’s overwhelming I’ll contact you to check if we should drop any.

Please cut your posts, I may stop following if posts are consistently uncut. Also, if turning an ask into a thread please move it from the ask into a new post. I use Beta and no longer use legacy.

I’m happy with anything from single para to novella/multi-para length replies. Single para can be small, I don’t mind, as long as it’s more then 2 lines. You do not have to match my length when responding but short replies consistently will kill my muse and lessen my likelihood of continuing something.

I tend to queue most of my replies just so I’m not hit with a bunch of return replies at once.

Memes and asks

While I love memes and asks and I so appreciate people sending things in there are a few times I’ll delete them, those include: I’m feeling overwhelmed with what’s in my inbox, I consistently have no muse for this ask, etc.

That being said, please don’t let that discourage you from sending things. This also goes for random, unprompted asks. I appreciate you making attempts at conversing with my character.

Shipping

Chemistry is important to me, both IC and OOC. And for me shipping is both a term used for platonic and romantic ships. Platonic ships are important – best friends, family, mentors, mentees, etc. There will be no instantaneous friendships or romantic relationships on this blog. With romance I am also not okay with massive age gaps.

I can be into dynamics where something is one sided, a crush, or doesn’t work out. As long as we discuss it beforehand.

I will not EVER write something sexual with underage muses or in verses where they’re underage, mine or yours. I am open to writing cutesy things with underage muses like crushes, first relationships, holding hands, first kisses provided both muses in the relationship are the same age. But this will never be sexual. I cannot begin to express how uncomfortable that makes me.

Any ask memes involving kissing or more personable actions I would prefer if they were only sent by characters already in an established relationship or checked in with me beforehand.

Courtesy

If I’m not responding to something: I’m busy with life stuff OR you’re ignoring my rules and giving me anxiety (usually non-mutuals). I promise if we’re mutuals I am not ignoring you on purpose, I’m just busy. Or! I saw it and meant to respond but it slipped my mind and got lost in the abyss that is my brain.

I don’t pay much attention to things on the dash. I’m too busy. You can always assume that if I’m not participating in something, I didn’t see it.

Triggers

My triggers are dissociation, multiple personalities, rape & SA, snakes & lizards (photos of). Flashing gifs trigger physical responses so I’d appreciate a warning. I also appreciate domestic abuse/child abuse being tagged in visual posts or thoughts/musings/hcs.

Unplayable

I RP with DID representation on a case by case basis. If you RP a character that has DID and I did not follow you back then that is why. Do not pressure me into RPing with them, it’s for my own wellbeing.

retrospect. oh boy.

Summary: The Doctor has downloaded counseling subroutines in an attempt to make himself twice as useful to the crew. When a situation arises that might require some counseling, he attempts to apply those new subroutines. But being inexperienced, he interprets the data incorrectly. His biases make him leap to a conclusion and he makes a premature diagnosis. This ultimately leads to a man’s death. The Doctor feels terrible and wants to delete all his extra subroutines, including the non-counseling extras, to avoid future disaster. Janeway says that’s just an excuse to get rid of his guilt and denies his request.

I remembered moments of this episode quite clearly. I remembered that the guy was innocent and ran and got killed. I had forgotten details about Seven, forgot the guy was a jerk, and the role the Doctor played. This was a Doctor episode.

I can only imagine how much tumblr hates this episode. A man accused of assault turns out to not be guilty and dies because he felt no one would believe him? A righteous crusader discovers he had his facts wrong? Oh boy. *braces for impact*

Believe me, I get why people would feel unsettled by this one. I’m not exactly comfy. Due process and impartial investigations (and actual experience in the psychological area vs. armchair diagnosing) seem to often be interpreted as saying that accusations shouldn’t be taken seriously and investigated. And no doubt there is a lot of legitimate historical reason why people jerk the knee in that way.

My sympathies naturally lie with the suffering female character and not the jerk male. A conclusion leap is only natural. And even knowing it was a mistake, you don’t want it to be. You want the man to be guilty. Which is an interesting look at the human psyche. This ep is decidedly uncomfy, no matter which way you slice it.

But forget for a moment the topic they chose to couch the lesson in, if it is too uncomfy to see past. If it were couched in anything else, this wouldn't be at all controversial.

Beware of the high of righteous anger. Before you mount up for any crusade, consider the possibility that you might be wrong, lest you become the villain. I can't think of something much more timely in the internet age where righteous anger highs are chased daily, often on the flimsiest of hearsay, sometimes destroying innocent lives. The only difference is those people never reconsider, never regret, and simply move on to the next victim.

But ya know what? I am not here for a big conversation. I’m just here to be a fan of this show, not have my posts be springboards for debates.

So I’m making this post and the rewatch gif post private for awhile. I’m not going to skip the ep, but I don’t want nine million reblogs screaming at it either. I don’t want debates about this crap. I don’t like people using my stuff for that. I’m here to enjoy a thing. I can do that by myself in a private blog if it comes to it.

So if you find these posts in the somewhat distant future and you hate this episode, that’s fine. I get it. I’m assuming everyone does, hence the rambling and the privating and all that. But please, don’t take it out on my activity page. Just skip it.

P.S. I’ve often seen people wonder why the doc couldn’t be programmed as a temporary ship’s counselor. I’ve wondered that myself. This ep is like, ‘if we do that, he kills people, so....’

1. When did you start reading Fanfic (How old you were or how long ago)?

When I was probably...11 ish? so like 13 years ago

2. Do you have an AO3 account?

3. Do you read WIP (work in progress)? Why or why not?

All the time. I’m not picky about this at all. I’m a simple person. I see fic I think I’ll like? I read. doesn’t matter if it’s finished or not. I’ll make up my own ending til it is lol. also authors need that encouragement. finishing stuff is hard

4. What time of day is your ‘fic reading time’?

Usually late at night (like 1 a.m. and later..much later) but sometimes I’ll waste an afternoon instead (2 p.m. ish til I either have to go to work or I finish the fic)

5. How much time do you spend reading fic per week?

Not remotely as much time as I used, that’s for sure. Anywhere from an hour (if I’m rereading That favorite fic) to 2-4 hours if my friend has sent me a longfic again.

6. Do you listen to podfic (fanfic recorded like an audiobook)?

I...didn’t even know this was a thing tbh, so no. Sounds very neat but also I don’t listen to audio books anymore bcus my attention span re: audio input has gotten so bad over the years I can’t focus for more than a few minutes.

7. What’s your favorite fic genre to read?

AUs AUs AUs. and fantasy. and fantasy AUs (although good long AU fics are harder to find). I am a very simple person. I see magic mentioned, I read. I also read a lot of romance fic (proving once again that fanfic writing is often better than mainstream original writing, bcus romance is one of my least favorite YA/movie genres). I don’t read as much of them but I also love mystery and paranormal fics

8. Are there any genres that you tend to avoid?

Super angsty no happy ending type stuff. “Major Character Death” is an automatic nope lmao (unless the summary looks reaallyyy interesting or it was recc’d to me). Tragedy is definitely Not my thing

9. What tag(s) do you track?

I don’t track any fic tags (I stopped tracking tags at all since Tumblr changed it from “keeping track of new posts in said tag” to “dropping random posts from that tag into the middle of your dash, and usually the same three”)

10. How do you find new fic?

Nowadays I mostly just read what friends send me or the new stuff a very few writers I follow post, but sometimes I also come across stuff through Twitter or Tumblr and curiosity wins out

11. How do you organize your fic bookmarks?

I..don’t? Is this a thing people do?? If I wanna reread something I either search through my bookmarks by title/author or just. filter by fandom.

12. Do you subscribe to authors or stories?

Yeh. I only keep up with a very select few of them though. altho part of that is due to several of them being people I followed on fanfic.net years and years ago and never unfollowed, even though our interests may no longer be the same. (the other part is me going “oh I’ll read that later” and then just. never doing it.)

13. What is your favorite fanfic trope?

fake dating and bed sharing are always good

14. What kind of plot line are you always here for?

“everything’s the same but they’re soulmates” (oh my god they were soulmates)

mafia AU

MAGIC

I really like in-between scene fics too. the events and character interactions that happen off-screen. I like writing those

15. What can an author do to make you love them?

write about my faves frequently

cool AUs

write about minor characters

good sense of humor

16. What can an author do to make you avoid them?

not into mpreg fics

a/b/o fics make me super wary I usually pass on those, even if the summary looks mildly interesting. they’re rarely if ever done in a way that isn’t rapey and gross

don’t care for fics period that have rapey scenes but you’re supposed to find them romantic

adult/minor ships

characterization is a big deal to me so if I don’t like how they handle the characters, especially faves I probably won’t be back

17. What do kudos mean to you?

when I get one I have a few seconds of “oh someone kinda liked this thing I wrote” and then I carry on about my day >.>;;; (I do appreciate them tho)

18. What kind of commenter are you (No comment, short comment, keyboard smash)?

I don’t comment as often as I mean to or wish I did, but when I do they’re loong comments (I’ve passed the AO3 character limit at least once kshg)

I tend to quote favorite parts and then react to them, and I like to theorize and ask questions about character’s thoughts at a certain part or what author imagines happens before/after the fic

19. Have you ever stopped reading a fic? Why or why not?

Yes. Once because I stumbled into a very sexually explicit fic when that was. Not at all what I was expecting (I was also very young lol), I think there was a very few I quit because they were boring or very poorly written, but most often I “quit” a fic for the same reason I don’t do audio books anymore lmao: because my attention span is sht and my motivation and commitment are extremely fickle things. I either forget or just wander away for a bit and then forget. Often I mean to come back and finish it; it’s just a matter of how long it takes. (I also second hand embarrassed out of a fic so hardcore that it’s been a whole 9 months since I’ve touched it khdfgd)

20. Have you ever read a fic more than once? What is it about that fic that makes you want to read it again?

YES. This requires like a minimum 4 separate posts to really answer but:

Behind Bricks and The Penance of a Killer by Deathbelle

this person is my fricking favorite author ever and these are two of my fricking favorite fics ever, I must’ve reread Behind Bricks 6 or 8 times now and Penance is the BokuAka-centric companion piece to my favorite fic of all time that I always wanted

Mending Bonds and If the Heart Breaks, Does That Mean There’s No Home? by RussianSunflower3

Mending Bonds is soft found family fluff centering on a very minor fave of mine and If the Heart Breaks is very angsty found family fluff that also focuses on some minor characters and it always hurts my heart but the ending and the soft middle always heal it right back up (“[Hanamaki] has a heart big enough for everyone in the world, and then some.” ohhhh my godd)

Boiled Frogs by ReginaGalaxia

this one is. a really hard read centered around emotional abuse and manipulation and hoooo boy it is a rough read especially if you’ve experienced any of that personally but it’s so well written and the character dynamics are great and in its lighter moments it’s fricking hilarious.

(bits and pieces of) The Roost by Ugglabarn

bits and pieces only bcus Roost has a lot of very heavy dark content that I’d have to be in a specific mood to reread the whole thing because it hurts my heart way too much but also it’s one of the best Fukurodani-centric longfics I’ve ever read (PLUS AN AU..!!) and I love love how they write the characters and how much focus there is on the minor members and ships and in its lighter moments Roost is also really funny the most recent chapter was hilarious

smut. explicit smut. excellent explicit smut with loving polyamorous boyfriends and plenty of consent discussion and kissing. my entire jam right there

Class 1-A Whomst? by Ya_Boi_Hal

this is the funniest chatfic I’ve ever read in my life and the first good chatfic I ever read. absolutely hysterical. also has some really good serious content in the middle and some Aizawa dialogue that punched me right in the feels. 12/10 will read again. sometimes I just randomly say “Mineta whomst??” and cackle to myself

I guess traitor! Tahu was a popular trope back when Bionicle fandom was at its peak?? and not everyone liked it apparently but I enjoyed this fic greatly every time I read it it was well written and had interesting OCs and I am actually highly tempted to go reread it again

and Asleep Beneath a Wheat Field by Feline Freak

this was a very peculiar little OC-centric one shot that was also very sad and I don’t know why it grabbed me like it did but I remember rereading it 3 or 4 times at least

The fics I like don’t usually come with sequels but The Penance of a Killer is one so Yes

I guess? I haven’t read too many I don’t think but hey, more fic is more fic. Who’s gonna complain about that?

23. What do you wish more fic authors would do?

Write about minor characters more

24. What do you wish more authors would stop doing?

that thing where they latch onto one facet of a character’s personality - or worse, one that fandom made up - and write them as if that’s the only trait they have

25. Do you like one-shots or multi-chapter?

Multi-chapter. I mean both are great obviously but the majority of my faves are multi-chapter and obviously if I like a fic I’m gonna wanna spend as much time in that universe as possible

26. How long do you like chapters to be?

Usually I feel the longer the better. once in a while I’ll hit one that’s so long it’s kind of distracting but extremely rarely

27. What’s your favorite POV (point of view) to read (first, second, third)?

28. What do you think of OC’s?

I didn’t use to care for them very much but as I started reading fic by more advanced writers I found several I really liked. have a very small list of OCs from recent fics I’ve read I would actually kill a man for I love them so much

29. Do you download fic?

No, but seeing as my absolute favorite Bionicle fic vanished off the face of the earth several years ago and I cannot find anything about it an y wh ere sometimes I think about saving my faves. I never got to finish reading that fic and I am absolutely devastated every time I think about it.

best thing is when my friend and I buddy read a fic and send each other our favorite parts

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

Oh geez, the question I allllll ways have trouble answering. I started tumblr as “catofmanyfandoms” at the tender age of 15, and you know I don’t remember when I changed it to little-kitten-aqua... There’s not a real story behind it other than Aqua is a nickname I had for a loooooong time, and I love little kittens?

2. Which fanfic of yours has the most feedback? (bookmarks/subscriptions/hits/kudos)

I’m gonna make a guess before I go check and say it’s YVC....

Yup. Yokohama Vampire Crisis in every category besides hits, in which it looses to “Bad Kittens Get Spanked.” Why.. I don’t know.

3. What is your AO3 profile icon, and why did you choose it?

Dazai!! Honestly Dazai and I are so similar I couldn’t make my icon anything but him!

4. Do you have any regular/favourite commenters?

I mean, Stuffie always spoils me with their long, in-depth reviews of my stuff

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Oh geez, I download a ton of fanfics for reading again and again and again and especially when my internet is down. I think I’m up in the 30s with saved fanfics from AO3??

6. How many stories are you subscribed to? How many do you have bookmarked?

I.... I think I only have Seikibetsu subscribed... I’m a picky person with my stories that I follow. As for bookmarks, I’ve been trying to keep up with those and make more of them instead of just flittering off in an ADD haze but yeah.. not going too well.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

Oh geez. Definitely omega verse. Hands down. YVC is even edited omega verse.... Omega verse really is just my favorite thing.

8. How many people are subscribed and bookmarked to you in total? (you can view this on the stats page)

!!! A lot more than I thought!!! 9 User subscriptions, 79 bookmarks, and 17 subscriptions!! Wow!!!!

9. Is there something you’d like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

There are some more taboo things that I consider writing, but considering they’re preeeeeeeetty taboo I’m not sure I’d ever share them.

I mean, I made huge strides with the fucking medical kink fic.

Maybe??? I dunno! I know I’m the only one in the Dazai/Kunikida/Katai tag and I’m a lot of the Kunikida/Dazai tag so... maybe??

Not really!! I think “kittens” is a cute nickname, though!

19. Was there an author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Oh geez, Stuffie did a ton to encourage me to keep going with YVC and other stuff, but there’s really never been one exact driving force behind my work.

20. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Just write it. It might suck, but you can’t create something good until you’ve worked out all of the bad. And even then you’ll make bad stuff. Just enjoy what you’re doing and you’re good!

21. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

Oh gosh, I’m so all over the place with this. I get some plots out and others I just wing it and work as I go. YVC is one that I’ve done intensive plotting for, but that was with help and everything haha

22. Have you ever gotten a bad comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAH YEAH. I’ve gotten some shitty stuff. So I turned anonymous comments off and comment moderation on and waited for a while. Yeah, transphobes and some other choice characters have come to me.

23. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, smut, etc..)

Fight scenes are reeeeaaaally hard, and since I tend to focus more on the erotica side of things, f/f scenes are really fucking difficult for me. I just get bored and flitter off, or get uncomfy.

24. What story(s) are you working on now?

Well, I (surprisingly!!!!) just finished part one of YVC so now I’m on to work on part 2, and then whatever the hell I decide to do next hahaha!!

25. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Oh man hell no. It’s a party up in my brain, ideas all over the place. Who knows what’s going on? Not me.

26. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

PFFFFFFFT. I rarely have enough energy to finish everything I need to do in one day, why would I give my disabled ass more?

I... think so? I mean, I’ve improved from when I was writing my first fanfics at 2... but that’s just age and experience. But I mean even just from the beginning of YVC to now, I think I’ve improved at least a little bit.

I love nearly all of my stories? There’s not a lot that I don’t like. I really only write what I want to, so that helps me like it all.

29. What is your least favorite story that you’ve written?

Oh boy there are, however, a few pieces from prompt lists that I feel like I just fucking bombed. They’re shorter pieces mostly cause I lost interest half-way through, or tried something new only for it to fail spectacularly.

30. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Ideally? I’ve got a nice fully-funded Patreon to make/write ero games and everything’s good.

31. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Smut. Boy I am so versed in writing smut.

You second-guess yourself sooooo much. It’s a lot of the reason why I post mostly non-beta’d stuff!

33. Why do you write?

Um.... That’s a great question. I write cause it... comes naturally to me? I don’t have to work super hard to churn out a lot. It’s also really freeing, you can write anything happening. You can write magical fairytale romances that you know would never exist in real life but you can imagine and dream and there’s nothing stopping you but the limits of language. (Which themselves can be bent and broken) So really, I like the freedom it gives me.

I thought I’d cry with FMA’s ending because I did almost cry during the Ishvalan Civil War flashbacks, but…once again, my eyes were dry XD maybe because TG and AoT made me appreciate FMA’s happy ending more?

Because I actually made that as a way to vent..splattering red blood paint all over the paper did help XD (drawing doesn’t always help, though. Oh, that sounds cool! I don’t listen to much Ed Sheeran but liked his song for the Hobbit ('I see Fire’? I think that’s what it’s called?) and because Shape of You just keeps playing in the manhwa cafe I go to to read manga, that song kinda got stuck in my head and I can’t stop listening to it XD I don’t listen to remixes a lot for no particular reason but some of them are really cool :)

I’m currently obsessed with Hurricane, Castle, Ghost and 100 Letters by Halsey, along with a bunch of Lana Del Rey songs (going to listen to her new album as soon as I can!), Melodrama (Lorde’s new album), and Young and Menace and Champions by Fall Out Boy…also songs from Steven Universe and Adventure Time, like Love Like You and Everything Stays. It’s about a character that I relate to a bit too much, and since it’s a sorta bittersweet character arc, I always end up crying. The music also gets to me. It’s called ‘Court of Thorns and Roses’. I mean, the writing style is more or less ok, and the premise is interesting at first glance, but then everything gets ruined by the author for not being able to create a flawed MC, cause they have to be perfect! I’ve read another one of the author’s books before, but dropped it halfway, again because on an annoying MC. The only reason why I finished this one is bc it was the only reading material available XD It’s also supposed to be a spin on Beauty and the Beast, but with fairies, but it was so badly done that I genuinely didn’t realize that until I read it somewhere on the internet. It’s also one of the rare series where I intentionally don’t read the sequels. The original book was that bad I’m getting way too emotional over the book XD
