Fooduary Day 22: Tres Leches

So today might have supposed to be Pumpkin pie but I’ve already done a pie I’m not a fan of and an orange-focused color palette so…. One spontaneous “fun desserts from around the world” search later I got inspired by tres leches! A tres leches cake is a sponge cake soaked in evaporated milk, condensed milk and whole milk (thus the name three milk cake). A 19th century invention in Nicaragua it remains a super popular dessert to this day. I was inspired by Trencilla dresses which are worn for all sorts of marimba dances.

i recently rewatched The Book of Life and I’ve come to the conclusion that love triangles can and should be solved for the most part with polyamory, here are some examples

Chel, Tulio and Miguel as a trouple. Both Miguel and Tulio have shown interest in Chel and I think the first part of the movie where we see them in Spain speak for itself, their chemistry is overall really good I think

Not really a love triangle here but I like both ideas of Redson liking Mk and Mei as romantic partners so I thought Mei and Mk as well as being besties could be each others metamour

And obviously Joaquin, Manolo and Maria as a trouple because they work SO WELL I love their dynamic so so much ❤️❤️
