📨 _a/n. basically everything i’m working on/will work on is a part 2!! halp!! sorry for getting this out a bit late, accidentally deleted like half of leona’s part when i was nearly done, forgot everything i wrote, and raged for an entire day.. which is why leona’s part might be wonky, because it’s just a cheap copy.. crying face.. also, i unfortunately cannot write for idia for this piece specifically since i haven’t beat book 6.. he’ll be in part 3 with malleus when i finally do. anyways as said before, best to listen to still with you by jungkook for the vibes

l. kingscholar

— at times like these, leona felt incredibly pleasant at the idea of being with you—not like he never was. specifically, when you chose to spend your time with him as he was falling asleep to take one of his usual naps, for he was so sure it would bring him some just as pleasant dreams. definitely, he would never admit that fact, and one hundred percent surely never admit the accommodating fact that he knows this because his mood always significantly lifts whenever he’s around you awake or not. but still, it’s a truth known to likely nobody in the world but the two of you. so, he lets the warm and domestic atmosphere get the best of him, like he always does, and leans beside you to get some sleep in, again, like he always does.

— something that does not often happen, however, was the way that as he did, you took in a sharp deep breath that clearly you put some effort into concealing by acting as if you were doing some sort of breathing exercise before falling asleep yourself—but as a beast man, a lion at that, leona knew better. it was then it became apparent to him why you did what he did, as he noticed where exactly leaned against you. on your side, was a particularly dry area of skin. obviously, since it came from his ultimate magic; something that could even squeeze people dry. it wasn’t useful in the savana where droughts were a nightmare, and it certainly wasn’t any good when used on people. not like he ever wanted to. it just happened; when he overblotted.

— he remembers it well. it’s not something he denies outright, just something he prefers to keep in the back of his head. he thinks about it more often than he would like, though. and it’s annoying him, now, because it’s getting in the way of his sleep and his pleasant time with you; the idea that he wouldn’t even have this pleasant time with you if he’d gone just a bit too far. of course he knows it’s stupid, to think about things like this when it’s already gone a course that didn’t end badly. still, he thinks about it sometimes. especially since the injury obviously still pains you to this day, evident by the breath you took some moments ago.

— such thoughts are distracted, however, as he feels a hand brush through his hair. he recognizes the feel of that hand, of course, it’s your own; he wouldn’t let any other person do that. he feels the way you delicately undo any knots in his hair, and brush his hair as you please. he’s almost embarrassed, as he’s sure you’re wondering why he hasn’t dozed off by now. he always did, whenever you did something like that; or when you’d hum something, or speak anything, really— he found your voice soothing. it was another secret between the two of you. so he dozes off, not because he doesn’t care, but because he knows you accept him.

— it irks him in a way, to think so deeply of the matter when he knows that you’re here with him in the current, so he sleeps. as mentioned before, you understood him; in the sense that you didn’t feel the need to understand him at all. he thanks you for that plentifully. the house warden still remembers the way you forgave him, under the rationale that you not understanding him was the exact reason you did forgive him. he had his own reasons that he didn’t necessarily need to let the whole world be aware of. the way that when you forgave him, you didn’t need an explanation because you didn’t want to force him. he finally rests at this point, and he feels the way you brush through his hair anyway. he thanks you for that, and the way you accept him.

a. ashengrotto

— today was one of those days in which azul could be thankful he had a day off, and that he was not busied with making madol. after all, free time like this meant more time spent with you, and as the selfish octomer he was, he lavished at even just the idea of that. sitting in an emptier version of the mostro lounge, your respective meals consisting of whatever didn’t manage to sell out completely the day prior. usually something of the like was a shameful thing to him, that he couldn’t collect as much madol as he would’ve liked to. but with you in the equations he finds himself just fine with it; it’s just another thing he can treat you to.

— however, as he slowly becomes increasingly aware of your more careful than normal little unconscious behaviors in the way you carried yourself, even in the way you held onto the utensils you used to eat, behaviors that contrasted the brave and boisterous behavior you possessed when he first met you, he slowly recollected his memory of the reason why. it almost ( no, definitely ) makes him feel like he’s been doused in a feeling of shame. it’s still etched into his mind when he regained consciousness after his overblot, your bruised and battered body that you’d tried to hide even then. in fact, this actually wasn’t exactly his own fault—more so indirectly, yet he blames himself all the same for the panic of the running crowds that bumped into you with no regards for anyone’s safety when he began stealing people’s ultimate magic, like a mad man.

— if he recalled correctly, you’d in fact tried to bandage yourself and go about the process all on your own; like the reckless person you are. although, you did almost manage to get away with it, had it not been for the obvious physical pain you were in when floyd went in for a squeeze some couple days after the events had died down, leading you to awkwardly explain what had happened—and while floyd went off to purposefully squeeze to death some safety disregarding crowds, azul was left alone with you, apologizing over and over for his actions. by the end of it, you ended up scolding him over the fact that he couldn’t get it in his head that you didn’t think of him to be the one at fault. he thinks about that sometimes too, and he laughs at the hilarity of it all.

— azul blinks, and all of a sudden he realizes that you’re staring at him. it’s then, he realizes why, as you huff in curiosity, and ask him “is there.. something funny about the fried chicken you’ve got there?” he looks down at his plate for a moment, and becomes embarrassed at the fact that in as his thinking took over for a moment, his plate was still full in all his distraction. no wonder his stomach was rumbling, if he’d only eaten three or four bites. he coughed into his hand in his flustered state, “no, no, i was just thinking about something. don’t worry about me, angelfish…” he finally keeps eating, thankfully for him the food’s yet to go cold, to prove his point, and he has half a mind to audibly sigh a breath of relief when he sees you shake your head amusedly as if to say, ‘what am i going to do with you, azul ashengrotto?’

— though again, he notices, the way you’re careful when you do. before, you would shake your head far more dramatized and sigh as if you’d finally dropped off a weight off your shoulders that was equivalent to that of the world. now, though, you take time to make sure you don’t feel half as much of the pain you did beforehand. as he finishes his fried chicken and you finish your own meal, and he now walks you out of octavinelle to make sure you get to your dorm safely, he gleams at the fact that you were kind enough to forgive him— he loves you dearly, after all, and he speaks with genuinity. after all, you are his angelfish, and that is a role nobody but you can play.

v. schoenheit

— sometimes, when he notices you’re both free and you’re up for it, vil invites you into his dorm room for your opinions on his acting skills. of course he believes himself nothing short of perfection, but he needs an outside view to make sure this is the case. perhaps he might need a brushing up on, or extra insight on how to play a role properly. so in such an instance, why not ask for your assistance, since he views you so highly as well? vil is without a doubt you’ll be able to bring something to the table, you haven’t failed him in doing so yet, after all.

— you were nothing short of an amazing commentator, as expected. his eyes soften, though, after all, an actor is expected to see little tiny details in a person’s actions and behavior to understand the character and play their part beautifully to make it big, as he notices the way that surely, the way you’re short of breath and at times need to take a moment to cough into your arm isn’t meant to be a way to express the compliments people usually spout him with, all to say that he ‘took their breath away’. you had your own reasons, but he supposed he could say he was responsible for the taking of your breath as well—though not in a way anyone would like, or in a way he wished to.

— as pomefiore house warden, he was well renowned for his poisons. that much became very clear during vdc, as much as he thinks disdainfully of the way the event turned out for him. how could he not, when not only did he lose, but he overblotted then. it’s something he’s learned to accept, but he still thinks of it as a stain on everything he’s worked for. but particularly about his overblot, what he thinks about constantly, was how terribly it’d affected you. inhaling poison did a number on you, and he thanked the sevens over and over at the fact that you woke up that evening in the hospital. you weren’t exposed too terribly, thankfully, but that didn’t mean you were gone or all effects it had on you.

— how embarrassing, he thinks constantly. by the end of it, he played into the role of the villain anyway, poisoning the one he held dear. it was a sorrowful thought, and he admits even in such sorrow that for even just a split second, he almost felt a form of disgust at the way you forgave him so easily. perhaps though, it wasn’t directed at you, but himself. how could you possibly forgive him, after all, for the way he treated you then, and even during the days leading up to such a tragic incident whether you or he was the main focus of it all? he won’t deny, you confuse him to no end; an enigma, you are. although, he won’t put on a show to act as if though he didn’t like that part of you— it was a nice change of pace.

— the sound of applause suddenly rang in his ears, but not that of thousands of people in an audience watching his performance live; instead it is the applause of one. vil allows himself to refocus his vision, taking a break from his daydreams as he comes to be attuned to your clapping. on stage, he learned to force his inner thoughts to the back of his head, as to lessen the mistakes he might make when performing. thus, he concludes, he must’ve continued on practice acting with you as commentary, though his recognition of whatever words you might’ve spoken until that point was faint. “that was amazing vil!” you’d stopped clapping at that point, “you really put a lot of emotion into that one, i could tell.” vil stopped for a moment, humming to let you know he was processing your words, before his eyes softened one final time, a warm expression on his face. “nothing short of perfection, of course. shall i put on a play again, just in case?” and at your nod of excitement, he coughs into his hand and begins reciting his memorized lines.

So I recently just finished Book 5 and I need y’all to know Vil is like my top fav even before starting book 1 and I just ended up loving him more even now and how so much care and knowledge was written to create such a layered and complex character

I’m not that good in gathering my thoughts into posts like this but I just wanted to share my thoughts cuz I genuinely love the writing in Book 5 as of now :3

BOOK 5 SPOILERS KINDA

1. Envy

The baseline that drove to Vil into overblot. How his desire to play the hero and be on stage longer, his inner envy towards Neige, it accumulated so much from childhood till now and to the point of almost potentially killing Neige but I personally don’t think it was the main reason for his OB

2. Reflection

I’m going off by the official ENG translation but I really love his line before overblotting, “Don’t look at me with those eyes”

He knew what he was going to do if Rook hadn’t stopped him and he immediately regretted it, he became the role he detested for all those years and he hated himself even more for it, he couldn’t forgive himself, which I feel is the real reason he OB compared to a simple jealousy buildup over the years and wanting to be the best. I really like this route more as someone with intrusive thoughts during my worst, it’s a horrible feeling when you realised the horrible things you thought of and the thought of acting it.

3. Loneliness

The higher your power, the lonelier you become.

I feel like this can be said for like every housewarden but I’ve rarely seen ppl talk about this aspect regarding Vil. He couldn’t star in hero roles because he was TOO perfect and beautiful that an average person couldn’t relate, it’s the complete opposite to the rest of the housewardens where they were lonely due to being inferior/intimidating which is an interesting thing to spin the loneliness part onto Vil really well.

He didn’t even appear to have any close friends since childhood, I don’t think he’d consider Jack or Neige to be his close friends but more like at a distance due to how far Vil is in most things. But I don’t think loneliness is the main point of his overall character or trauma but it’s an interesting aspect to consider especially when fitting with the rest of the housewardens.

4. Jamil and Vil Parallels

It’s really funny Jamil shares almost the exact same thoughts as Vil and it brings me back to my second point considering both Jamil and Vil have someone they consider to be superior than them being the most pure and kindhearted person (Kalim and Neige). It’s even more interesting Kalim was the one that escalated the OB and not Jamil from the previous pattern of OB characters escalating the next char into OB. Book 5 expanded a lot on Kalim as a character and he never makes the same mistake twice once he learns which is why it was heartwarming he saw the same eyes Jamil made in Vil’s and tries to stop him.

Bonus :

Rook constantly being the observer in the background and always watching out for Vil really warms my heart, even if its for the good, he always thinks the good for Vil specifically. He saved Neige but only cuz he knows Vil isn’t that sort of person. He cares so much about him he’s so sweet.

I really love love love how they touched on how being an actor can make you be perceived. As a kid you’re very impressionable towards specifically live action actors playing a certain character because your brain would find it hard to find a separation between actor and character and could even paint one as a villain in real life. It has happened before and it’s still a thing now so I really love they added this in even if Vil doesn’t seem to be too bothered by it but it minimally added a little fuel to the fire on why he hated the roles as a villain.

Anyway I really love Vil as a character I can dissect him forever nobody can make me hate him I love him so much 😭😭😭

You met Neige on the main road, in book 5, like in canon,

Trey and Riddle were free so they decided to show you around the festival a little bit

by now they've basically excepted their roles as your parents

than you see the dwarfs get picked on and yatta yatta it goes about the same.

Neige wasn't very surprised to see a child here, he thought you might have been a student's little sibling at first

he was very friendly to you, after thanking Riddle and Trey, he kneeled down to your level,

behind Riddle's legs,

and thanked you as well for helping out his friends.

and you hummed back in acknowledge, burying your face into Riddle's leg more

"Huh? Yuu? What are you doing...?"

"Oh..? strange, their usually not this shy"

"heh, that's alright, is that your name? Yuu? It's nice to meet you, my name's Neige."

Neige is one of the few people that you almost instantly like, he was very nice

when he went to see Vil and the rest of the NRC group before the SDC, he tried to make conversation with you as well

and you actually replied! you rarely ever did that, even with the people closest to you

everyone was quite shocked

and when he was about to leave, he patted your head to which you giggled and hugged him!!

The only time Vil wanted you to bite someone, and you fucking loved him

Ace and Grim were appalled

"What the hell Yuu?! that's our enemy! You aren't supposed to hug the enemy!!"

"Yeah! What the heck Yuu!?"

Rook was about to pass out from how "beautiful" the scene was

Kalim, Epel, and Deuce thought it was rly sweet

Jamil was just glad you didn't bite another stranger.

The reason you like Neige so much right off the bat, is the same reason as to why you liked Kalim right off the bat

they both have very good wholesome vibes that make you feel happy and safe around them.

Overall, he thinks your adorable and makes sure to visit you when he stops by NRC for any reason. People tried to warn him about your biting, but he believes that it's all just rumors.

Che'nya

Your first meeting with Chenya is actually rly funny

It the same as in canon but instead of being scared jump scared

you try to catch his head after being jump scared

he thought it was hilarious and cute how you tried you catch him. so he played along and kept disappearing and reappearing random parts of his body for you to confusingly try to catch.

Chenya nearly dies laughing when he finds out you call Riddle and Trey, mom and dad

100% encourages it

he's a lil bit like Crowley where he'll hold out his hand for you to cling onto and bite when you please

but only if your able to win your little game of chase.

He just thought you were some random ass kid that liked to bite ppl and never thought otherwise

you are pure entertainment to him when he sees you biting other people.

Riddle and/or Trey will often have Chenya entertain you when they have to prepare for unbirthday parties

after he finds out what you Riddle and Trey, he encourages you to call him uncle Chenya.

Overall, he thinks your hilarious and likes your company. He doesn't care much about how or why you started biting ppl.

I know it’s been a long time now since book 5 came out, but the more time that passes and the more I reflect back on it, the more desperately I want to see slice-of-life content of the SDC crew’s time living in Ramshackle.

I want to see Vil and Jamil acting like tired parents when the first years and Kalim do or say something stupid! I want to see Kalim being included in typical first year shenanigans! I want to see Rook enabling their stupid ideas because he finds their enthusiasm and friendship beautiful!

Like, imagine them all sitting around the dinner table when one of the first years makes an inappropriate joke and at first everyone’s suppressing their laughter to avoid Vil’s glare, but after glancing around at each other, the giggles slip out and escalate into a full blown laughing fit!

I just really want to see them all acting like a sitcom family, y’know??!

Twisted Wonderland Reaction Part 17 ~ Special Edition

Hello everyone!

So…it’s been a while since I’ve made one of these. Almost 2 years to be exact. But after book 5 forever changed how I engage with twst (for better and worse), I haven’t really been up to doing reaction posts anymore. Also after book 5 I actually began focusing more on the jp server since there were many things in the official translation that I found…lacking to say the least.

But when twst jp released this mv on April fools day, I just knew I HAD to talk about it! I’m actually surprised more people aren’t. Probably the biggest thing about this mv is that in a lot of ways the narrative of book 5’s ending has changed now we have context to how NRC Tribe performed. I’ve seen a lot of posts on the bird app saying things like it makes sense now why they lost the VDC.

I will say, this is definitely NOT a perfect performance. But as a former dancer with WAY too much time on their hands, I decided to analyze this.

So for context, Ive done a mix of ballet and jazz for eleven years, from age 4 to 15. Even though I gave up going to classes, I still did para para and anime dances with my friends. And in 2017, I decided to return to dance and have been dancing consistently ever since. I’m mostly versed in ballet but I still do some jazz, hip hop and took up kpop last year. To judge this fairly, I watched the MV several times, four times per member, (do the math and feel free to judge me). And with that, here are the things that stuck out to me the most.

He is beauty, he is grace, HOW HE HELL DID HE NOT KICK EPEL IN THE FACE?!

Synchronization/symmetry

The lack of synchronization was the first thing I noticed, ESPECIALLY in the first 30 seconds. The footwork is sloppy and Deuce and Ace in particular aren't as sharp with their moves as the other five. Rook seems to be the only one doing the choreography correctly because one point at 0:25 (and again at 3:31) where he bends his knee higher than the others and thanks to those fuckass uggs standing out so much, I couldn’t unsee it. At 1:03, 1:07, 2:07, and 3:00 Ace’s form is noticeably off as well.

And this may just be a personal hangup of mine but I found lack of symmetry between the boys at 1:14 very odd. Like, I don’t know how I can describe it but the way Epel tried to take center stage during his and Vil’s duet gave me the impression that wasn’t originally in the routine. At 1:13 there’s a split second where you can actually see Vil looking down at Epel like “...wut?” I immediately thought about that moment right before they go on stage where Epel offers to take on Vil’s solo’s because he looks so weak but Vil refuses. I wonder if Epel trying to take center like that is a callback to that exchange. Unfortunately, since the boys were perfectly symmetrical for the rest of the song, it stands out as awkward all the more.

Kalim and Jamil

Lowkey, Kalim and Jamil both carried this performance after Vil. The little magic with the mic was a super nice touch and Kalim shines the most during the dance break. He seems to be having fun with it despite being in agony. What’s interesting is that after Ace and Deuce, Kalim is the most out of sync but he pulls it off well since I can tell he’s been on the stage before. Both he and Jamil are natural performers.

Vil’s movements

So, this has been something of a headcanon of mine but it seems to have been proven correct with this mv. Vil has always struck me as someone who probably has a lot of classical dance training but little training in other styles like hip-hop or jazz. His movements are very graceful and elegant but almost…too elegant? I don’t know if that makes sense but they seem very smooth for this style of choreography. And because he’s in the center the most, it stands out the most.

AND THAT FUCKING GRAND JETE!!! Absolutely flawless but it feels SO out of place here! I will give him credit though, that is one of the most difficult jumps to pull off in ballet, and the fact he did that in fucking 5-inch heels right after the most mentally and physically traumatic episode of his life, it’s beyond impressive. And the fact he landed perfectly and so seamlessly moved into his final solo is even more remarkable. Still, that was the most jarring element of this choreography and I think it would still be out of place even if this was a “perfect” performance.

Now here’s where I potentially piss people off

All in all this is a perfectly imperfect performance. Being completely objective and not taking my love for these characters into account, I honestly still don’t see how they lost. Well, I understand why but it still is fucked to me. I can understand Vil feeling like NRC Tribe didn’t perform their best since they were exhausted and hurting from dealing with his overblot. I can also understand that they were probably a lot more polished in rehearsal. But here’s the thing, for a group of amateurs, I would probably expect this quality of performance even if they hadn’t had to deal with Vil’s overblot.

First off, while the choreography is rather simple from a dancers perspective, it can be pretty complex for beginners. For one, it requires a lot of synchronization to look correct. But as a beginner, perfecting synchronization alone can take months and, in larger groups, sometimes even longer. If NRC Tribe can look like this after only ONE MONTH of training, taking into account only three out of seven of them have dance experience, that’s extremely impressive.

To give an example, last year at my dance school for our end of the year showcase, the K-pop class did a cover of TWICE's Can't Stop Me. Because our class is made up of students with varying levels of experience (some none at all), it took us the better part of eight months to learn. We had to learn everything in groups of three before we could learn and practice together. And even then, we still fucked up a lot because none of us are professionals and some of us were dancing for the first time. Look at this video and tell me if you could learn this in only ONE month. Vil, can you train me please?? XD

And that brings me to the next point, the experience of all the members. Now, in Rook’s most recent birthday vignette, he mentions learning ballet and in book 5 we see Epel and Deuce taking ballet lessons. But in ballet, as a beginner, your earliest lessons are going to be almost exclusively barre work and depending on age, you might not do center work/combinations for weeks. I’m going to assume Vil is really the only one with solid dance training with Jamil and Kalim also having the most experience just dancing in general. As for the others, they were going to need a lot more training if this was going to look more polished. ESPECIALLY Ace and Deuce.

As for having to perform right after beating OB Vil’s ass, again I was expecting to see A LOT more noticeable errors. And knowing what they all just went through honestly makes me admire this all the more. The thing is, it’s easy to be beautiful when everything is right and perfect in your world. But being able to smile even when you’re struggling and your heart is breaking is even more beautiful still. Personally, I don’t think I could perform even half as well if it were me.

It’s unfortunate that we don’t have a MV of Neige’s performance so I could do a fully fair analysis. But if we look at all the evidence, it seems to me that NRC Tribe still gave a better performance. And I think the true tragedy here isn’t even that NRC Tribe lost since I think that was always a given considering the dynamic NRC and RSA has.

The true tragedy, I think, is that Vil could be convinced that this perfectly imperfect performance was still inferior to Neige’s. But I’ll leave that for another time.

— who has the most negative rizz out of the first years and why is deuce spade in second place what the carp 😭😭 ok serious mode back. let it be known that while deuce is absolutely going to trip up even if it’s just a bit when trying to acknowledge his feelings for you, there’s no way he’s ever gonna back down!! deuce is proof that chivalry is not dead because he treats you with so much care he is such a gentleman, the sweetheart.

— maybe it’s true he doesn’t have much experience because of his delinquent era.. but by sevens if his heartslabyul seniors and wikihow aren’t helping him through this, then—well no actually he’d still be confessing but he really wants to try and get his feelings through with a hundred percent accuracy. oh, but how the words, the words he’s ever so carefully trying to find get lost whenever you’re around, flustering him when you compliment him which sends his heart into an absolute rollercoaster.

— inviting you on a secret date on his birthday, wanting to prepare egg dishes for you, his feelings sure aren’t the most hidden compared to the rest..not like he’s trying to hide it, though! it feels odd to say, but he’s super fond of the light teasing and the jokes about the idea of him and you being together; it brings hope to the idea that you reciprocate, and as per the prompt mentioned in part one..oh, ABSOLUTELY you do, and it’s surprising he picked up on his own feelings before picking up on yours.

— like i’ve mentioned once in the past—he’s one of the quickest to be able to admit his feelings to you. so while these more oddly romantic moments between the two of you since he first realized his feelings do seem to last for forever, truth be told it’s probably only been three days ( the rest of the first years squad BARRFSS at the cringe and yet at the same they’re all sharing popcorn ready to witness the confession ). flirt with him maybe once or twice more before said confession, he eats it up.

— but also he’s sooo confused when the other first years are prodding at him and making fun of the fact that he hasn’t confessed in that three day timespan yet..like he’s not even trying to hide it yet he’s flabbergasted that people realize like?!

( also ace is the one in first place for neg rizz. adeuce and their negative rizz shenanigans.. )

— as he mentions in one of his chats; it’s not like he doesn’t have at least one romantic bone in his body. and while jack sure may not be the most conventionally romantic of the lot, that’s just who he is and doesn’t make him any less capable of trying to make sense of his feelings for you. ‘til he begins having a bit of a tsundere moment as he tends to.. perhaps, you’ll have to be the one leading most the romantic charges in this case, but no complaints there no siree.

— wolf courting methods are quite cute you know, bonding through closeness like grooming each other ( you notice the way jack hesitantly but hopefully offers to fix your gym attire during flying lessons ), and finding each other with their eyes and noses ( when you’re looking around and accidentally lock eyes with jack during history, he’s rather quick to look away and you can tell he’s flustered ). it’s honestly adorable, so your liking to him in mind, you indulge him.

— even things you don’t even seem to realize you’re doing ( albeit only at certain times ), like reaching to pat his head as he leans into your touch while sitting together during lunch hour or while studying together. all in all, it feels like a sudden yet so naturally paced domestic vibe between the two of you, and he appreciates that a bunch. it can’t even be dubbed cringe anymore it’s like a match made in heaven with the two of you, i’m jealous tbh!!

— but SERIOUSLY, it’s got the feeling that you’re already together even without the label; actually, it’s when you bring that up to joke around, jack might just come back to his senses about the crush he has on you and act again on his tsundere ways. this is the part where the label comes in, because, to confess to him, finally, this moment feels the most right.

— hashtag power couple moment, that one singular romantic bone in his body saved him ( trust i’m the romantic bone in his body ).

— “if you simply assumed i was a romantic for whatever reason..reassess that.” - epel in that one chat. but why are we here then epel. why are we here.. i don’t really doubt that the sudden realization to his feelings for you was a TRIP for him, has him carving apples to calm his nerves and everything. not like he doesn’t know why he’s feeling this way though; how you accept every part of him and encourage him consistently as he tries to get to where he wants to be with himself, actually he starts wondering why he wouldn’t like you somewhere along the line.

— actually, considering the exact fact that the idea of him being a romantic needs to be reassessed..he should probably ask for advice, huh. from granny marja and vil and rook, maybe he’s sending them into a bit of a shock that he’s truly asking for advice on how to romance you—not out of disappointment though, but they try to help enough so that he can confess in his own epel felmier way. and let’s just say he’s coming in strong; but sevens, you’re coming in STRONGER?!

— helping him feel better about his appearance when he needs it, preparing him things like macarons and many assortments of his favorite foods, just being around you leaving him comfortable enough to be himself. he’s tearin’ through some meat as he wracks his mind around all the things you do for him and how to repay you for the fact. every word you speak that sings his praises, he relishes—he wonders if the feeling’d be better if you spoke the words with the context of you being together.

— if he was a romantic, things would probably go a bit smoother..but what’s fun if not a bit of a carnival ride? actually, with him, while he can flustered every now and then when around you, he’s pretty calm about it. just give him a wee bit of time, a wee bit of confidence in the fact you feel the same, and he’ll be confessing to you with a whole apple pie.

— ( and then you ask to share the pie and proceed to feed him a slice. he is not ok. )
