I was at the post office earlier today and there was this older man who was very flamboyant and I was like "girl we r kindred spirits" in my head then as he passed me I complimented his scarf (space sprint with some silk) and he lit up! We had a great lil conversation and he told me all about his beloved scarf and it made my day honestly

You used to be the coolest person on Tumblr. I remember when your answers had hundreds of notes and set trends. And now…

Heyo 😊
Wanna start by saying I stumbled upon your page a few days ago, and it may have been one of the best things that's happened to me so far this year. Anywho, I just finished your 'Comin in Hot' series and, I say this with complete and utter honesty and adoration, it is easily collectively the most wonderful piece of writing I've come across in all my years on this site. Over the course of a few days, it was the first thing I thought about when I woke up, and the last thing I thought of before falling asleep. Your way with words, the structure, the ability to truly humanise and draw the reader in. I genuinely sat with my notebook open to write down every book, poem and song/artist you highlighted because I just couldn't take my mind off of them. (Thankfully with the taste in music, I was already familiar, which truly allowed me to resonate with specific moments)
I've really struggled for the past few years with finding the energy, time and motivation to pick up a book and read. But this series reignited why I adored reading so much in the first place, and I truly cannot thank you enough for helping me take that jump back into something I loved so much.
I cannot wait to read your other work, you have a magical sparkle in your way with words and it's been nothing short of a pleasure to escape into that little universe ✨️💜
Thank you 🥰
hi darling.
i had to sit here with this message for a while because… you have no idea how much i needed these words? i mean, i had no idea how much i needed them, and yet here i am tearing up (at work, thanks for that) over this sweet and incredible reminder of why i put so much effort and world building and truth in my stories. of why i try, at least. to make them relatable, and to make them true, and to make these characters as real as flawed as possible, so that people can have their small piece of happiness through them.
“Your way with words, the structure, the ability to truly humanise and draw the reader in. I genuinely sat with my notebook open to write down every book, poem and song/artist you highlighted because I just couldn't take my mind off of them.” i took a screenshot of your loving feedback because this part here.. it hit right where my writer heart makes a home 🥹
you’ve made me truly happy today. thank you! and i hope you enjoy more stories in the future. im here to talk about any of them if you want to 💛
