Pairing ~ Anthony Bridgerton x fem!reader
Plot ~ after a long day at work, Anthony tells you how much he missed his wife <3
Warning: pregnant!reader, little teasing, shy!reader
Words : 0.8k
Tumblr media Tumblr media
" I thought you would be asleep..." Anthony murmured, words soft as melody spelled in the dark, hands crossed around his chest, his cuffs rolled up like usual after every tired night in his office, he smiled at you, a glint in his eyes.
" Why would I ? " I would wait for you at the worlds end, You turned to look at your husband, after a hard day, his eyes looked so tired and yet, they were sparkling, always when it was you.
" Oh my dearest wife." He moaned as he crossed the distance in two long strides, wrapping his hands around your waist all the while dropping to his knees,
"I missed you so much baby." He said, kissing your baby bump gently as he looked up with stars in his eyes.
" You didn't miss me Anthony ?! " You fake gasped, watching the slow chuckle make its way through the rings of his cartilage as he plucked the book you were holding.
" Oh you have no idea ! " He growled, taking both your hands in his and guiding them to his face, his eyes shutting as your fingers traced the face you adored so much, he hummed in response, kissing the soft skin of your wrist as watched you, one knuckle at a time, eyes never leaving yours.
" you think I haven't missed you ? " His asked, almost blazing, " you? " He said again, " There wasn't a moment when my soul didn't want to crawl and come to you, not a moment when i wanted to be anywhere but in your arms love." He squeezed your hand gently as you smiled, because you knew, knew how much he loved you.
" Have i told you how much I love your hands ? " He traced the lightening like green nerves that made it ways across your skin, he loved every bit of you, body, soul, mind and heart.
" You haven't," you replied, feeling your breath knocked out, heart punching against your ribs.
Anthony's lip quirked at your dazed eyes, he loved every and each version of you but he so much adored when you made your needs known, how much Anthony loved giving you what you wanted, you just have to say it for me, my sweet love, he had told you.
" This," Anthony said, his lips grazing at the slight raise of vein of your wrist, following it upto the crook of your arm, smiling in triumph as a strangled noise made it's way out of your throat.
" You like it ? " He tilted his head, brows raised in question, " mmm" you hummed softly but being the Viscount and smug bastard lord bridgerton was, he smirked.
" Say it in words my lady." He gazed up, you gave him one eye roll but opened your mouth anyway, " I do." You said ans Anthony resumed his venturing.
" And I have told you how much I love your collarbones ? " He hummed, planting open mouthed kisses all way to to dip of your neck, his breath lingered like a tattooed kiss, you dropped your head back on the couch as Anthony nipped at the raw skin of your neck.
You felt his smile the way his teeth tore into your flesh, his hand soothing your belly in circular patterns, the other cupping your breast and kneading it with all the time in the world, " You aren't telling me." He complaint, mouth fixed several inches away from yours as he looked deeply into yours eyes, your breath were uneven as you whined at the lack of lips on you, he understood and caressed your cheeks, leaning until a thread of wind was between you, you waited for touch to burn you, waited for his lips to crash into yours but alas!
" An..thony " you whimpered and he shaked his head, mouthing a small, No.
" You haven't " you whispered, closing the inches as his mouth pressed against yours in warm fuzzy music, like everything the poets talked about, Anthony smiled as pulled for a second away, his eyes peicring yours, mischief dangling through the corners and oh, how much your loved this man.
" I think I have..." He trailed, nose nuzzling at the dark reds and blues of your neck, he loved his little vicious games, loved to tease you, loved to drive you crazy.
" You have." You told him, " Tell me again."
That was all Anthony needed to you tell you again, and again and again, how much he loved you.

Bachelors (sdv) and your first date!
Bachelors × gn! Reader
All of these are that you are in an established relationship (Aka you already asked them out / were asked out) but it's your first date!
Not proof read, based off of a request!
Sam
• Would take you to see live music!
• He is very much a big gestures person. So this was planned way in advance haha
• Like probably before y'all got together.
• But he has it planned with the band that he like sneaks away to "use the bathroom" but suddenly you just hear him on stage singing to you
• To some, cringy, but to you, it's adorable.
• He wrote the song especially for you, and wanted to make your first date with him extremely special.
• But once he is done, the two of you go back to having dinner and just talking.
• The night ends with him walking you home and a kiss.
Alex
• You go to a gridball match!
• Ngl I think this is a heart event with him(?) but idk what happens so here's this
• The date is mostly centered around the before and after!
• Before, the two of you are tailgating and just having a blast.
• He brought a boat load of snacks, and you get to hear him talk about his passions!
• He is just so happy to share his interests with you.
• You go to the game, the team he is rooting for wins!!
• But it's when you get back into town that he is just super sweet.
• He asked Evelyn for help with making a little picnic basket.
• So he had it all set up for the two of you to have a small picnic date for dinner.
• This is when you get to talk his ear off! He loves to listen to you, and learn about you.
• Overall, you both learned a lot about the other, and had a blast doing it!
• As much as I feel like a relationship with him would be fast paced, he probably takes the first date really slow because he doesn't want to scare you off haha, but you'll probably get a kiss at the end of the date ;)
Sebastian
• He is awkward as hell (/pos I love him)
• He was going to offer to plan the first date, but you beat him to the punch!
• Honestly, you knew he would be internally freaking out so this is what you did.
• You invited Sebastian and Sam over to your place to play Solorian Chronicles
• You knew he would loosen up and be less nervous if he had someone else there.
• But you had it pre-planned with Sam that he would leave in like a half hour because he got a call and 'it no there is a minor emergency at home and he needs to leave right now'
• Sam was a wingman in this for sure
• But now that you and Sebastian were alone, the two of you had so much fun!
• You played your little hearts out and defeated the evil overlord, successfully saving the princess!
• When you were done with the game, the two of you watched a movie, and pretty much ignored it-
• You cuddled a bit (shocking I know! But Sebastian I feel is very physically affectionate with friends so it isn't all that different.) (Only if no one else is around tho) (I might make a separate thing about this)
• You mostly made fun of the movie because it was so bad! So when you stopped paying attention you just talked. Super familiar so you were just really comfortable around the other.
• Maybe a kiss of the cheek if Sebastian is feeling confident <3
Harvey
• He goes to an airshow with you!
• He explains every little thing about each plane, and you absolutely love seeing his face light up.
• The planes are super loud though, so he makes sure to bring headphones for both of you!!
• If you can't hear him trying to talk, he brings a little notepad and writes down all his verbal nonsense.
• It's so cute though, you keep the notes so you remember everything from that day
• Later, you go back to his place and have a really nice lunch.
• He is a sappy guy, lit a few candles and everything <3<3
Shane
• His go-to idea would be to take you to the saloon, but he doesn't want to put himself back in that environment on a date.
• So he compromises with himself and sets up a very low-key bar-esk setting in the field by his house!
• Aka, a small dart board and a beer ping table (but not actual beer)
• He is the shit at drinking and yard games, and he knows that you are competitive so he just wants to have a little fun.
• He also brought out a corn hole (or bags idk people call it different stuff) set, so you pkay that too!
• Eventually Jas joins in as well because she sees the fun you two are having.
• You learn mire about Shane and his interests, and he learns more about you and yours.
• Marnie eventually dragged Jas back inside, and Shane gives you a big kiss.
• He isn't shy, but he is not a fan of pda, especially not in front of jas lmao
• Overall, your date was really fun and cute, and you got a feel for what being with him would be like in the long run.
• Yard games would be a staple date for you in the warmer seasons
Elliott
• Takes you to the library in the city!
• As much as he loves the local one, there is so much more to see in the city's library.
• Will read you sappy poetry he bought when you go home.
• Like. Dramatically reads you love poems.
• He tried to do this inside the library but that ended up drawing too much attention to him so you dragged him out before you got in trouble.
• Basically, you went for a really nice evening in the city! You held hands, went to a little café. He tried to make it as enjoyable as possible for the two of you, while staying true to himself.
• Gives you a kiss on your hand as he drops you off at home, but you pull him in for a kiss on the lips before he leaves.
• He walks home in a love-struck daze because of it
An* Oh geez I wrote a lot more than I was expecting- I just really loved this request, it was too cute!!
These also look way longer in my notes app then they do here

I swear to the Gods I will search Karlach x Reader and all the comes up is Astrion. It’s honestly fucking infuriating because I don’t want to read about him. I could be one thing if there was just a scarcity of fic with her (which there is,) but the fact that every single time I search it, he comes up. This either leads me to believe that people are idiotic and can’t tag correctly or that tumblr is just fucking me and hates wlw content.
She’s also not the only character that this happens to. I’ve noticed it happens a lot when it specifically comes to wlw content that is centralized around, not fem presenting characters. Almost every assassin‘s creed, character thats a woman or Abby Anderson (TLOU2) Dani Rojas (Far Cry 6) and so on when it comes to buff women. It’s honestly draining.
Anyways, there’s the rant, haters will be blocked ✌🏽
Tag your shit correctly
That’s means y’all that put x Reader then add a name. THAT’S UR FUCKING OC BABE, TAG IT AS SUCH YOUR RUINING THE VIBE! REALLY SHOULD NOT BE HARD!

Okay for the 650 follower event. I'm thinking something spicy~
Tumblr media
Maybe Alpha or Boba in a Western AU ( Bonus points, though not required, if you can work in careful princess if you use Boba 🙈)
Fancy
Summary: Jabba, an absolute slug of a man, has been ruling the small town that you call home for your entire life. When you hear about the new bounty hunter in his employ, you fear the worst. Though, as it happens, Boba Fett isn’t half the monster that you feared.
Pairing: Boba Fett x F!Reader
AU Prompt: Western AU
Word Count: 2444
Warnings: Reader runs a brothel, smut
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni
A/N: Alright, I wasn't able to add the actual smut part without it throwing off the flow of the story, but it goes right up to the smut part and then stops. I hope you like it. Also, when I wrote it I was picturing ROTJ Boba.
Tumblr media
“Madame,” You lift your gaze from your ledger at the soft voice of one of your girls, “I...have you heard?”
“I hear a lot of things,” You reply, scanning the girl for any visible injuries, before dropping your gaze back to your ledger, a frown pulling your lips down. Once Jabba takes his cut, you’re going be barely make any profit this week.
“Honorable Jabba has hired a new bounty hunter.” You lift your gaze again. You hadn’t heard that. “Do you...will he be...do you think he’ll be like the other ones?”
“I don’t know.” You answer honestly, “But so long as you’re nice to the gentleman-”
“They’ll be nice to me, yes Madame, I know.” The girl, because that is what she is, only recently nineteen, smooths her long skirts and straightens her corset, “We will be opening soon?”
“We will. All of you have been reserved for the evening. With familiar names,” You reassure, and you’re relieved to see some of the tension drain from her shoulders. “Off you trot,” You don’t turn your gaze back to the ledger until you hear the soft click of her bedroom door shutting behind her.
And then you drop your gaze back to the numbers in your book.
Maybe, with some careful editing, you can make Jabba believe that you made less money then you actually did. And then you’ll be able to afford the food that your girls need to survive.
It’s not as if the slug himself checks your numbers.
And his accountant has always had a soft spot for you, and your home.
You are the sole owner and proprietor of the Desert Rose, the only brothel in the town of Old Ashton. You used to be a regular employee, yourself, until some clever gambling and even more clever money hiding allowed you to buy the previous owner out.
So now you protect the girls to the best of your ability.
Unfortunately, the best of your ability isn’t good enough.
You close your ledger with a snap and slid it into the locked drawer in your desk, and stand. You smooth your dark green skirt and make sure your corset is laced properly, and then you head to the front of the house.
You may not entertain the gentlemen anymore, but that doesn’t mean that you can neglect your appearance.
The men are already lined up at the door, joking and laughing with each other. And, as you open the door, they settle themselves into a more respectful manner. They know that you will toss them out if they become a problem.
You have before, after all.
“Gentlemen,” You greet with a dainty smile, “Welcome to the Desert Rose. The girls have been eagerly awaiting you.”
It’s all a show. An act.
Honestly, you should have gone into show business with how skillful your acting skills have become over the years.
While you’re not sure if the gentlemen believe your words, they at least pretend that they do. Which is good enough.
You allow the men into your home and take the payments in advance, before you send them off to the girl of the night. And then your home is silent, save for the sound of music playing from the old jukebox in the corner.
Shelling out credits to make all of the rooms sound proof was the cleverest thing you’ve ever done. Right up there with the panic button you had installed in each girls room.
You’re about to change the song playing, when the bell over the door chimes as the door opens.
“Terribly sorry,” You say absently, without turning away from the jukebox, “But all of the girls have been spoken for this evening.”
“A rather small brothel you’re running,” The voice is deep and unfamiliar to you, and is surprising enough to you that you turn your attention away from the machine in front of you to regard the man.
He’s tall and broad chested, he takes up a lot of space in your foyer, though it almost seems like he takes up more space than he physically should. He seems to be allergic to color, you note with some distant amusement, everything from his boots to his hat are the darkest black. The only color coming from the dark green shirt he’s wearing.
“Old Ashton is a small place,” You reply as you walk around him and settle behind your desk, and you favor him with a small smile, “Welcome to the Desert Rose.”
He stalks towards the desk, there’s no other word for how he moves, “Boba Fett.”
“Ah. Jabba’s newest muscle.”
“So the rumors have already started.”
“As I said, small town.” You open your scheduling book, “If you’re looking to spend time with a girl, I’m afraid you’ll have to make a reservation. All of my girls are booked for the night.”
“Including you.”
You tilt your head to look at him, “I no longer entertain gentlemen callers, Mister Fett.”
His dark eyes scan you as best as they can with you seated behind the desk, and you’re fairly certain that he’s looking down your top. “Never?” He questions.
“Never.” You confirm.
“Hm.” He finally tears his gaze away from your tits and flashes a small, cocky, smile, “I bet I can change your mind.” He nods at you once, and then turns and leaves as suddenly as he arrived.
The front door closes with a quiet click, and you release a quiet breath. Cockiness isn’t attractive, you’ve never thought that.
But you like to think that you’re pretty good at reading men, and that didn’t read like cockiness to you. No, it reads as confidence. And that makes him incredibly attractive.
You tap your pen against your lower lip, and sigh, “Shame that he works for Jabba, though.” You murmur to the empty foyer, before you go back to work. Your business isn’t going to run itself, after all.
The next time you see Boba Fett, you’re doing your shopping for the week. Not shopping for the girls, but for yourself.
You’re window shopping, to be more specific. Eyeing a lovely green skirt that would pair amazingly with the dark brown corset that has been sitting in the back of your closet...and naturally a new dress would require new boots-
You almost manage to talk yourself into buying the skirt, when you hear heavy footsteps stop next to you.
“It’s a lovely color.” A deep voice, familiar in it’s unfamiliarity, jolts you out of your thoughts. “You’d look very good in it.”
Boba Fett stands less than a foot away from you, his head tilted down as though his words are for your ears and your ears alone.
“I look good in everything,” You reply lightly.
“I imagine you look good out of everything too,” He counters with a sly smirk.
“That’s for me to know and you to wonder about.”
“Oh, I did wonder. Repeatedly.” There’s no shame in his voice, and you’re grateful that your thick makeup is hiding the blush you can feel burning your face.
Hurriedly, you change the subject before he notices your embarrassment, “I’m surprised that Jabba let you off his leash long enough to come to the market.”
“Just doing my job, ma’am.” He drawls.
“And what job would that be?” You shoot back, “Terrorizing innocent shopkeepers.”
Boba’s dark eyes pin you in place, and you refuse to back down out of sheer stubbornness, “Careful,” He murmurs, “Your sharp tongue is going to get you in trouble.”
“From you?”
He leans back, and somehow still takes up more space than a man his size should, “No. I don’t raise my hand against women. But Jabba is much less kind than I.”
“And yet you work for him anyway.”
“Credits are credits, darlin.” Boba scans your body with a casual ease that should have infuriated you, but for some reason, didn’t. “And you clearly agree, seeing as you run a whore house.”
“It’s a brothel, not a whore house.”
“A brothel is a whore house. You’re just arguing semantics now.”
You prop your hand on your hip, “I’m leaving now.”
“What about your skirt?”
“With the tithes that Jabba demands, I can’t afford it anyway.” You admit with a scowl.
Boba gazes at you thoughtfully, and then he nods and turns his gaze back tot he clothing in the window.
Assuming that he had nothing more to say to you, you cast one last longing glance at the skirt, before you turn and walk away. It’s probably a good thing that he showed up when he did, there’s no way you would have been able to afford the skirt and food for the week.
Later, as you’re putting the groceries away in your private studio, you admit to yourself that even without the skirt, you barely had enough money to get all of the food that you needed for the week.
As you open the Desert Rose for the evening, you come to the realization that you’re going to have to put yourself back on the roster to be able to keep food on your table, and to keep your girls fed.
Once more, several hours after the last man arrived for his appointment with one of your girls, the door opens and Boba walks into the foyer.
“Seems to me that you have rotten luck, Mister Fett.” You drawl without looking up from your ledger, as if staring at the numbers will make your reality less horrifying. “All of the girls have been spoken for.”
“There’s only one girl I want to take me to her bed,” Boba replies as he sets a box on the counter and pushes it in your direction, “For you.”
“What is it?” You ask, ignoring his first comment with ease.
“Open it and you’ll see.”
You squint at him suspiciously, and then nod slowly. You tug on the ribbon that’s holding the box closed, and move the lid and the tissue paper to the side, and then you stop as you see what’s in the box.
It’s the skirt.
More than the skirt, actually. It’s a whole outfit. Skirt and top and stockings and boots-
“What-?”
“A gift, for you. You deserve nice things.”
“How much did this cost?”
“Not so much to break the bank.” Boba replies with a wave of his hand, “The seamstress knew what size you wear, so everything should fit.”
You stare at the present for a moment, and then you groan and drop your head, “Whyyy? You work for Jabba! Why are you so nice?”
Boba watches you seriously for a moment, “Is that the only thing stopping you?”
“I...what?”
“Me working for Jabba, is that the only thing stopping you from taking me to bed?”
“...It isn’t helping, no.”
“Okay.”
“Okay?”
He doesn’t answer and instead leaves the building, leaving you staring after him, absolutely bewildered, and with a brand new outfit sitting in your hands.
In truth, you don’t expect to see Boba again that night, so when he returns to the Desert Rose less than an hour later, something cold and grim in his gaze, you’re genuinely surprised.
“Welcome back?” You offer hesitantly, not sure what to make of his grim, yes strangely satisfied, expression.
“Jabba’s dead.”
His words are so startling that you almost drop the glass that you’re holding. “What?”
“Jabba’s dead. Wasn’t even hard, thought he’d have more guards.”
“You killed-!” Your voice is pitched higher than it should be and you could and lower your voice, “You killed Jabba? Why?”
“Because it’s what I was hired to do.” Boba says with a single arched brow, “And because I’m not blind, I can see what he was doing to the village. And then he insulted your honor.”
His words roll around your mind for a moment, “You killed Jabba, in part, because he insulted me?”
“Is that such a surprise?”
You walk over to him and reach out to lightly touch his cheek, “You’re not...hurt?”
“He didn’t touch me.” Boba confirms.
For a moment you stare at him, trying to determine if he’s lying to you, and as soon as you realize that he’s speaking the truth, you drop your hand from his cheek and hook a finger in his belt loop, “Come with me.”
There’s a glimmer of triumph on his handsome face, “Yes ma’am.”
Your personal apartment is pretty small, but it’s big enough for what you have planned, and for what he has planned for that matter.
Boba’s on you the moment he kicks the door shut, his hands heavy as the drag over the thick material of your clothes. He tugs at laces and pulls at buttons, until your dress falls to your feet.
“Beautiful,” He growls as one of his hands slides down your back to tightly grip your ass, his fingers digging into you and causing you to lift to your toes with a pleased gasp.
“Thank you,” You murmur, before you pull him down to press your lips against his.
Boba takes control almost immediately, and you happily let him.
He lifts you into his arms and walks you over to your bed, where he drops you in the middle of the mattress, “I’m going to ruin other men for you, princess.” He warns, as he starts to strip his clothes off and tosses them to the side.
You scramble to your knees, eager to watch him strip for you, and he shoots you an amused look.
“Someone’s eager.” Boba teases, not unkindly, “I’m going to use my mouth on your cute pussy, and then open you up with my fingers.” He explains, his gaze locked on your face, a smirk crossing his face when you lick your lips, “And then I’m going to lay back and let you ride me.”
“Let?”
“Let.” Boba confirms, “Because I’m going to be in complete control the whole time.”
You shiver in delight and crawl to the edge of the bed, your gaze dropping to his cock. “Can I-?” You ask as you reach out to touch him.
Boba catches your wrists and smirks at you, “You want to taste me, princess?”
“Yes, please.”
“Later. Lay back.” He presses a hand against your shoulder and pushes you back to the bed, before he kneels between your thighs, taking care to toss your legs over his broad shoulders.
You can feel his breath fanning against your pussy, and you squirm to try and push yourself closer to him, but his strong hands stop you from moving.
“Careful Princess,” His dark eyes glimmer with amusement, “We don’t want this to end too quickly, do we?”

🗝₊˚⊹♡ — thinking of daughter of hephaestus!reader awkwardly trying to flirt with luke castellan
Tumblr media
luke first approached you in need of a new sword after some child of ares completely shattered his old one.
at first, you were confused as to why luke chose you specifically. but after the initial confusion wore off, butterflies immediately flared up deep within your tummy when the realization hit. luke chose you.
of course, you tried to rationalize the decision. all the other hephaestus children who were on blacksmith duty clearly had busier workloads. you, on the other hand, had your schedule cleared.
but still... the way luke smiled so politely at you, spoke to you with a gentle respectfulness — you were almost convinced he was thinking of kissing you. almost.
usually, your clients would leave and come back when you were finished, but luke stayed and watched your every move. asking you questions, humming in agreement and nodding his head, keeping his eyes on you. the whole exchange had you on edge, but every time you cracked a joke and heard him laugh, your already tense muscles loosened up just a smidge.
luke watched in awe as you hammered the glowing metal into his desired shape. you made it look so easy, and you didn't even flinch when some of the sparks caught on your uniform.
"and this... doesn't hurt? like at all?" luke asked as you handled the metal forged from fire.
and all you could do was smirk at him, sweat appearing on your hairline. "not at all, pretty boy,"
you gulped as those words left your mouth, but luke didn't seem to mind as he let out a breathless chuckle and looked down and away. was he... blushing?
you took the nearly-finished piece and plunged it into the bucket of water sitting off to the side, hearing it sizzle and watching the water boil almost immediately.
"sounds like a benihana's!" you commented, voice raised over the sound of sizzling metal. your face burned as luke looked at you with confusion and your face fell. "you never... been to a benihana's before?" luke shook his head, and you wanted stick your head into the forging fires.
when you handed luke the finished product, his face immediately lit up. taking a step back, he began to test it out, and you watched with slightly parted lips as you took your front-row seat for luke's swordsmanship.
"this is incredible," luke said, genuinely. "thank you so much. you're a life-saver,"
before you could say anything else, luke was already off to who-knows-where, but not before he's stopped by a couple of aphrodite girls who began to ooh and ahh at his new toy. dressed in all pink, smelling like luxury and springtime.
you pressed your lips together tightly before forcing yourself to swallow down the lump in your throat.
no time to feel like shit about yourself. you have to get back to work.

a stupid juvenile game of cops and robbers is what it was. one that you reluctantly agreed to joining at your friends' constant pleas. once everyone received their roles, they scattered to different parts of the abandoned warehouse to gain a head-start, a strategy you did not attempt in fact, as you decided it was better to save your energy– not that you really cared.
some time into the game you found yourself on one of the higher levels of the run-down building, opting to hide out instead of run. you crept down the hallway in silence, peering over the corner of the intersecting halls to spot for the opposing team– the cops. of course you couldn't take it fucking easy, and you just had to get the role that forced you to be on the lookout for–
“gotcha.”
a low voice growled beside your ear, a large hand coming up and gripping your waist, aggressively indicating the presence of someone of the opposition was behind you, emerging from the dark hall. You scoff in response. “you gotta take me to the jail, idiot.” you say, matter-of-factly.
“hmmm…. nah.” he responds dryly. a stark contrast to his next actions, that being him flipping  you around and slamming your back to the wall, pinning your wrists above your head.
“i'd rather punish this naughty robber myself.”

Uncommon Reaction
Tumblr media
Pairing: Tech x Fem!Reader (our lovely medic line) Warnings: female insults, gross man being a jerk to reader, violence, cursing, Mando'a cursing, fluff, not proof read I just needed to get it out as my mourning, nothing else I don't think Word Count: 4.5k Summary: Needing something from town, you're stuck with going with Tech, as everyone else is busy. You're not used to his response when a man decides to be rude to you.
Requests are open if you have anything you'd like to send in!
______________________________
"Echo," your mirthful voice reverberated around the walls of the Maruader as you laughed, "please?"
Laughing at your shameful display as you childishly hung off of the man's shoulder, playfully pouting at him with eyes as wide as a loth kitten. He chided you with an amusingly stern use of your name, dragging you alongside him as he walked down the gangplank, "I've already told you that I can't go with you into town. I'd love to but I have to help Hunter gather the rations and make sure we have enough for the next trip."
Whining dramatically, you pull at his hand, "I can wait! Really! I'll even help count so it'll go quicker!" Though you tried your most convincing grin, hoping your innocent tone would win him over as it had multiple times before, the Arc trooper shook his head.
"Sorry, sarad, no can do." His simple decline made you groan in frustration and drop his hand indignantly but he continued, "It's already getting late, anyway, the sun'll be gone before we even finish counting. Why don't you see if Tech will go with you?"
At the mention of the clever clone, your cheeks immediately warmed and you pulled away from Echo a bit in fear he might catch your sudden change. "I-I'm sure he's busy...he's always busy with some kinda tinkering." Your mumbled response was met with a raised brow from the cybernetic clone before you, his trained eye-catching the evergrowing red color staining your cheeks. Though the planet had a warmer temperature than some others the Batch had stopped on recently, Echo knew this couldn't have affected you so suddenly. You noticed his scrutinizing squint and quickly tried to move the subject elsewhere, "Maybe Wrecker or Cross could go with-"
With another shake of his head, a knowing grin starting to grow over his pale lips, arms crossing over his armored chest, Echo interrupted you, "Busy with rearranging the cargo hold so Tech doesn't get rid of their explosives again." Then he smirked at your obvious dilemma, "Besides, I'm sure that if you ask him, Tech'll set whatever he's doing aside. He seems to like you more than any of the rest of us."
Stammering at Echo's teasing, you fumbled with a response. He couldn't be serious, right? Tech was nice, of course, he was just as nice as any of the others- just in his own way.
The way that sent butterflies screaming into your stomach...
The way that made your hands tremble sometimes when he forgot about the social decency of personal space...
Tech was nice in the way that you adored and couldn't get enough of even when you'd been around him for hours upon hours, even when his brothers wanted to strangle him.
"Uh, w-well, I don't-" You started as Echo tapped his chin with his scomp-link, in thought when footsteps from the gangplank sounded.
Walking down a step at a time, Tech emerged, face ever plastered to his datapad. A miniscule glance was sent from Echo to you then back to the device in his hands. "I heard whining from the pilot's seat," he began, his precise tone sounding uninvested as it typically did when he was observing a situation unbiasedly.
Echo grinned over at Tech, "Just the clone we were looking for," he praised with a welcoming wave of his scomp. "Our dear medic here is in dire need of heading into town and no one has any time to go with her."
As soon as Echo mentioned you needing to go into town, Tech put away his datapad, eyes meeting yours. "It would seem I am currently unimpeded by any projects that require my immediate attention, for the time being, that is." He stepped further down the gangplank, standing in the unoccupied space before you and Echo. "An appropriate solution would be that I accompany you into the nearby town."
Echo slowly turned his head to meet your red face, smirking proudly at you, "It would be, wouldn't it?" He chuckled at your incredulous expression, then looked back at the taller clone. "Then make it quick the two of you, it's going to be getting dark soon and I'm sure the town isn't the best place to be, even for us." He rested his hand on Tech's shoulder, walking back up the gangplank to head inside the ship, momentarily turning around to salute you with a wink.
You stood there for a second in disbelief, trying to understand how the situation left you with just Tech....alone.
"I cannot believe him." You muttered to yourself under your breath, shaking your head.
"He is correct, actually" Tech interjected into your thoughts, causing you to start a bit, forgetting his proximity. Looking up to see him fixing his goggles on his face more comfortably, you noticed the way his brown eyes caught the sun, as light snuck behind the frames to speckle the golden hues decorating them. "The town we are heading to is known for its rather," he searched around the area for the appropriate word, "sordid, is perhaps the best term I can use for it. We would be safer grabbing what it is you need quickly, then returning at a proper pace." His explanation continued but you began to get lost in your own thoughts, admiring the man before you. It seemed to happen, sometimes, that you would find yourself marveling at how someone who was supposed to be a clone- "defective" or otherwise- was so uniquely designed. However, no matter how smart Tech was, he was so clueless of his beauty (unlike Hunter who was exhaustively aware of his looks). The way his freckles brushed over the thin bridge of his nose to paint his tanned cheeks. The way his honeyed eyes were just a few shades brighter than his brothers, the way the light lingered in them even after all was dark. He was oblivious to how handsome he looked when he raised that one eyebrow in challenge, or when one of his brothers said something entirely incorrect. He was just as strong, just as well adept in battle, as any of his brothers (other than Wrecker), but he had the added allure of his intelligence that made you fall that much quicker. Tech's straightforward behavior, the endearing seriousness, his misconception of certain social cues, and the way his heart was still as open as any of the others- more so, you could argue- just made cherishing him so much easier.
A gentle call of your name caught you off-guard and you shook your head to refocus. "Hmm? Yes?"
Tech's face had grown adorably perplexed as he searched yours inquisitively. "I had asked if you were ready to leave, though I was met with only your vacant expression. Are you alright?"
A burning crept up your neck as you blinked dumbly at the clone trooper, "Y-yep! I'm perfectly fine!" You winced at the crack in your voice, hoping that if he asked any further questions you could blame some of it on the slightly elevated temperature of the planet.
Tech seemed gracious, or oblivious, enough to move on from the situation and nodded at your reply. "Then I suppose we should leave," he gestured for you to go ahead of him, "after you, mesh'la."
-
Once in town, you had noticed quickly what Tech had meant about the town being a little less desirable. The people seemed to even shy away from one another from time to time, going about their own business and then skittering away.
Tech kept a close pace behind you, placing himself directly behind your shoulder, his impressive height becoming even more pronounced. People seemed content to avoid the two of you and you hadn't noticed any issues with the trip so far until you felt Tech press himself further into your back, the smooth front of his chest piece cramming into your shoulder blade. "Tech?"
You glanced up as you continued forward, noting how his eyes narrowed behind his goggles, analyzing something further into the crowd. If you hadn't been in what seemed like a rather precarious situation- based on his current manner- you would find his closeness thrilling and unusual, but by his squared shoulders, you knew he was locked onto something questionable. "Apologies for my proximity." He spoke in a low, curt tone, eyes never meeting yours.
"Is...everything alright?" You questioned, trying to look around the crowd of people to see whatever was bothering the trooper.
Tech hummed in response, the rumble of his chest shaking through his armor and into your shoulder. "Our safety is secured for the present moment. Though it would be wise for my presence to be as near to you as comfortably possible for the duration of our outing."
You hadn't been out by yourself very many times with just Tech, possibly a time a two, but any time you had been it was always causal and friendly places. You'd seen Echo, Wrecker, or Hunter get protective in the face of social danger when you'd gone out with them before and it seemed like an evident connection to make that Tech (or even Crosshair) would've as well even though it hadn't been something you'd actually thought about before. However, now, you couldn't stop the way your heart ached at Tech's rapid transition from relaxed to defensive, the strong line of his jaw the first thing you caught sight of whenever you glanced up to make sure he was still on the lookout.
"Alright," you rushed out, "I'll be quick then. Sorry for the hassle, I didn't expect there to be an actual problem." Any more guilt you had been about to express died when you felt a large hand on the other shoulder blade, the warmth spreading through your entire body.
"Your apology is unwarranted. You required something, it is only sensible that one of us accompany you for protection. Although you are a reputable member of the GAR whom I have seen manage precarious situations rather exceptionally, I am certain every one of us would prefer to maintain your safety as much as we are capable." Tech finally glanced down to give you the slightest hint of a smile, accompanied by a reassuring nod. "Please, continue."
"Th-Thanks," was all you could dumbly reply as you tore your eyes away from the clone to search around for any pop-up stand that had what you had dragged Tech out here to get. It was some form of balm that you had needed to add to your collection for healing cuts and scrapes that the GAR hadn't entirely said was a part of the standard order of supplies but it worked as a wonderful substitute for bacta. It didn't take much longer to find a stand that was selling medical salves and the like, though the warmth of Tech's steady touch- whether from his chest or his hand- distracted you desperately.
While shopping through the procured items laid out, you felt Tech's hand fall away from your shoulder and a voice that was unknown to you spoke. "Listen goggles," the gruff man spoke, "just walk away from the woman and nobody has to get hurt, alright?"
As you began to turn, you were met with Tech's broad back blocking you as his hand came behind him to tuck you closer. "I regret to inform you that I am incapable of doing so." His voice was as steady and casual as typical for Tech, if you'd not known any better you would've thought he'd been speaking to Hunter or one of the others.
Choking out a gurgled laugh, the man pulled out a blaster, clicking off what you recognized as the stun. You were hardly terrified, Tech was highly skilled, though faced with a blaster you were worried he might be injured. Tech wasn't the first to respond with violence, opting instead to de-escalate the situation with a straightforward and disarming method. "I don't think you heard me, prick. I don't think you want to die over a whore, do you?" The insult hit you, surprised by its accusation and you placed a steadying hand on the backpack Tech wore, to steal a glance of the situation. You felt the hand that was placed on your arm tighten its grip protectively at your movement.
Tech was caught off guard by the insult as well, inclining his head at the shorter man. "Pardon me?"
"The whore, you fool. I want to whore. Move away so I can have her and we can part ways without anyone getting harmed." The man motioned with his blaster for Tech to step aside, though he remained unmoving.
Tech adjusted his goggles with his free hand, "by my estimation, it would seem that the only fool in our current location would be you. I will not be moving, so in light of our impasse, how would you prefer to proceed? By the tremble of your blaster, I would venture that you are incapable of properly wielding the weapon, which is a dangerous decision in and of itself. Again, it would seem you are the fool." Tech took a step forward, calm assurance complimenting his candid tone.
"B-Back up, freak! I'll blast you without a second thought." The man snarled as he raised his blaster higher toward Tech's chest. As you noted what Tech said, he was right- as always- the man's hand shook prominently. Though the sight of a blaster pointed so blatantly at the trooper was unsettling, you trusted him.
"Proper blaster decorum is to hold higher on the handle, finger over the trigger, and placed securely at the target of the blaster bolt." Tech's nonchalant lesson to the man seemed to only set the situation more on edge, which was surprising to you. He wasn't de-escalating, he was...antagonizing. "Is it standard practice here that any chakaaryc is allowed to carry a blaster?"
"A-Any...what?" The man asked confounded by the word he didn't understand, using his other hand to stabilize the blaster now as Tech approached closer to him.
It was normal for the Batch to use their Mando'a around one another, though they didn't use it much around others outside the GAR and even you didn't understand the language so you never paid attention to the words. Though now you were silently cursing yourself for not studying it, wondering what it was that Tech said.
"Di'kutla," Tech's voice lowered to a tone you hadn't heard him use before, it sounded almost...dangerous, "It is a Mandalorian translation for a filthy low-life, such as yourself."
"Why you!" The man's finger began to push the blaster's trigger and you felt your heart drop, stomach-churning, until you blinked and nearly missed the effortlessly elegant way Tech disarmed the man of his blaster. Crying in pain as his hand was bent backward while Tech placed the rogue blaster in his belt after switching it off, the man spat curses at the trooper. "She's just a whore, man! What's your big deal?!"
At the man's insistence on your status, Tech furthered his grip, causing him to yell out, Tech’s stoic composure- in contrast- never faltering. "I believe I have heard quite enough from you, mir'sheb."
"But-" Interrupting the man's argument, Tech's fist connected directly to the criminal’s face in a surprising display of brutality, effectively silencing him- and bloodying his nose.
"I said enough."
Standing in absolute awe of the current events, you were speechless, and before you could muster anything to say you watched as Tech yanked the stumbling man toward you by the grip on his wrist. "Forgive my lack of decency, mesh'la, though regarding his offense, this man owes you an apology."
"Tech, I-" You began, only for Tech to twist the man's arm behind his back and press him forward a bit harsher to which the man stumbled onto his knees, causing Tech to bend down with him, muttering apologies at your feet.
"Are you pleased with his display of atonement, cyar'ika?" Tech's honeyed eyes rose to meet yours, his tall frame bending over the man on the ground, refusing to let him free until you were satisfied. At your nod, he released his hold.
The man scurried to his feet and scuttled away as quickly as he could, nursing his wrist. Confusion washed over you as you glanced at the trooper, dusting off his hands and shuffling things around on his belt to make room for the blaster he had acquired. Once satisfied with his work, Tech met your eyes once more, adjusting his goggles nonchalantly. "Have you found what it is that we came to find?"
Still stunned by Tech's uncommon display of brute force and his complete willingness to act as if it has been just a normal day of the week, you stood there silently holding up the salve. "Wonderful, then we should return quickly." He sent a look around the sky to notice that it was dark now, "I am sure-" and as if on cue, Tech's comm link made a sound. Echo's voice rushed out with a stern use of Tech's name as soon as he’d answered it.
"Where in the galaxy are you two? I said to be quick!" The clone complained on the other end of the comm. Motioning for you to join at his side, Tech explained that you were momentarily disrupted but were unharmed and returning shortly.
While he spoke with Echo, you stared stupidly at the salve in your hand, replaying Tech making an absolute fool of the criminal. You'd never seen him react in such a way and you could feel your cheeks burning at how attractive the response had been to witness. What could've caused such a change in his approach? Of course, the Batch was known to be unconventional, so maybe Tech just thought the only way to dissuade the man was to use brute strength, but it just seemed like something bothered him. Could it have been when the guy insulted you?
A call of your name brought you back to the present, where Tech was standing in front of you, his hand extended. "Take my hand, please, it is quite dark. I do not wish to lose you in the crowd, it would seem this town is worse than I had originally read about. I will make a note to update the Republic's records properly." His hand enveloped yours delicately, pulling you closer to his side to guide you through the mass.
-
The walk back to the Marauder was quiet, your mind reeling from what happened. You were no stranger to difficult scenarios such as that one, so it wasn't as if you were scared just baffled.
"Stars! Finally, you two are back." Echo huffed in frustration as you emerged from the treeline. "Come on, we gotta get out of here. We're wanted back on Kamino for some new mission. Everyone else is already prepped to leave."
Tech merely nodded, saying something about how he'd set up the ship to be ready for the journey, and departed with a casual 'see you inside' as he let go of your name.
"What's wrong with you?" The accusation behind Echo's voice elicited a glare from you, none of this would've been an issue had he not forced Tech to go with you. You wouldn't be standing here struggling to erase the image of Tech decking a criminal right in the face. Replaying the sound of his voice when he demanded his apology to you for his insults...
This was Echo's fault. For sure.
"Tech punched someone, Echo." You explained with narrowed eyes to which the pale clone laughed as if the joke you tried to tell him was the funniest thing he'd heard. "No, I'm serious. He dropped this guy. He pulled a blaster on us and Tech just...punched him in the face."
"That's weird. Tech's not usually the type to-"
"TRUST ME," you raised your voice, "I'M AWARE."
Echo started laughing again, "I told you that he had a soft spot for you, sarad." He motioned for you to follow as he began his ascent up the gangplank, and punched the closure button when you joined him.
-
Later into the night, while you lay awake in your bunk, you tossed and turned trying to quieten the memory from earlier though it was a futile effort. The thought was driving you crazy.
Why had Tech reacted that way? It was just too out of the ordinary for him. It seemed far more personal than he ever responded.
And Echo's comments about him having some sort of bias toward you weren't helping the racing of your heart.
So you crawled out of your bunk, making sure not to wake anyone up as you tip-toed up to the main hull where there were small sounds of tinkering echoing. Of course, he was still awake.
"Mesh'la," Tech commented as you walked in, surprising him. "You are supposed to be asleep, what are you doing awake?"
Flashing him a grin as you took up residency in the co-pilot seat across from him, you pulled your legs up close to your chest. "Much like yourself, Tech, I couldn't sleep."
Adjusting his goggles, Tech blinked a few times in consideration. "Well, are there any extenuating circumstances that are barring you from getting the rest you usually require? Such as Wrecker's snoring? Crosshair mumbling in his sleep? Echo has a bad habit of shifting a lot during the night, could it be that?"
Shaking your head at his list of options, you took a breath, "I, actually have a question."
A glance in his direction showed his brow raising in confusion. "A question for me?" Upon seeing your nod he prompted you to continue, setting his tools aside to give you his undivided attention.
"Earlier..." you began, nervously playing with the hem of your GAR-issued pajama shirt, "in the town." Tech's intent gaze spurred you to continue, though you were anxious about how he would take the question. He was always truthful, but would he find the question odd? Would he think it was a stupid question? "You reacted differently than normal." You pointed about, changing directions a little, instead of asking a question.
"I am obligated to point out that your statement is not a question, cyare. However, your assessment is correct. It is not my usual course of action to resort to physical altercations in such situations..." He responded evenly. "Though, this circumstance required a unique response from me." His added comment confused you even more.
"Why?" You inquired, eyes now meeting his.
Tilting his head to the side slightly, his brows furrowed as if he were the perplexed one now. "I thought it would be obvious." His simple response was mildly bothersome. Of course, it wasn't obvious! That's why you couldn't sleep!
"Tech, you have to remember, sometimes, some of us need you to explain what's going on up there in that exceptional mind of yours." You clarified as you tapped your temple, gesturing for him with a soft smile on your face.
It dawned on him then, that perhaps it probably wasn't obvious to you. Though he struggled to find how to put it into words. "I was required to respond irregularly because he had offended you. Pointing a blaster at me is less of an issue, one I am perfectly well adept at discouraging," Tech's voice was unchanging until he glanced at his hands and his tone dropped. "It wasn't until his unwarranted comments regarding you that I felt my common strategy of de-escalating was not suitable enough. Your virtue demanded more than my words to right the occurrence." His eyes were still downcast as he spoke, seeming...embarrassed?
"My virtue?" You repeated his term of use.
Nodding, the clone finally met your eyes, the emotion behind his brown hues causing the breath to catch in your lungs. "Yes. I will never allow someone to speak so disparagingly about you in my presence. You deserve far more from those who say they care for you."
The blue streaks of hyperspace highlighted the contours of his handsome face, highlighting his features. It seemed as if time slowed to a crawl between the two of you at his admission. Was it a declaration of love, no, but it still burned in your chest as if it had been. "You care for me, Tech?"
"Considerably so, yes." The speed and certainty of his response felt as if it knocked you against the seat, like your first trip into hyperspace, kicking you back. His honesty was staggering every time. "If I can be forthright, I find that I am more partial to you than even my brothers are. I have spoken with Hunter at length about why this may be. The solution we have come to at the very moment is," Then he paused for a moment, considering his words carefully, "that I have a romantic interest in you. The signs of psychical attraction I have are evident, or so I thought. I desire to be close to you as often as possible, and the ability to speak with you about things is a welcomed one that I look forward to regularly."
As you listened, the burning in your chest only worsened. Tech not only punched a man because he insulted you, but punched a man who insulted you because of how much he cares about you and your honor? And now he was telling you how much he'd cared for you? This had to be a dream.
"Forgive me if this is not the answer you were envisioning, however, that does not change the truth of the answer to your query." Tech finished with a resolute nod, though the emotion did not leave his eyes.
You sat there across from him for a while in silence, reflecting, assessing, and gathering, but once everything sorted itself into place in your mind you rose from your seat to stand before Tech. He'd always been so straightforward, so honest with you...he only deserved the same in return.
Your hands hesitantly reached out, testing the waters of his current mood. When he didn't pull away, you caressed his jaw on either side lovingly, tilting his chin up to meet your eyes. The astonishment in them betrayed his outwardly calm demeanor as you leaned down to graze your lips against his, a whispered 'thank you' tumbling from your lips before you kissed him.
As if your confusion and amazement had been transferred to him, Tech merely sat in his seat, numbly. However, as you began to pull away, his hand quickly reached out to rest around the back of your head to stop you from going too far. Brown eyes explored your face as if you were an illusion, "you captivate and baffle me," he breathed out in wonderment, pulling you back in for another kiss, "show me more, please."
Laughing under your breath at his request you lowered yourself into his lap gingerly, "I'd love to, but right now, I just want to kiss you a little more."

"Blitzo, can't you just deal with whatever it is on your own?" Y/n groaned, rubbing her temples in irritation as she stepped out of the office, "I swear to god, if this is some joke? I'm gonna kill you."
There was the quiet, indiscernible drone of the TV. Other than that, the room was silent. Y/n looked up, her eyes falling on the wall beside the office's door and the people who stood before it.
Moxxie, Millie, and Blitzo in a quiet, tense line. She raised her eyebrows, nearly smiled.
"What the fuck is going on?"
Blitzo uncharacteristically said nothing, simply raising his hand and pointing to the entry way. Y/n's eyes narrowed, her muscles tensed and ready for a fight as she followed the path indicated by his gesture. The hand on the knife at her side fell slack as her gaze landed on an achingly familiar face.
"Holy shit." she mumbled, her mouth falling open a little.
"Yeah, uh, he's been asking for you?" Moxxie nervously explained, "You didn't... I mean, he's the Radio Demon. He hasn't been seen in years, you didn't fuck with him... did you?"
Y/n felt tears press behind her eyes again as she took a tentative step forwards. Then another one. Slowly, she crossed the room to the taller demon who just stood there with a smile, watching her all the while with his arms folded behind his back. Y/n peered up at him, her eyes narrowed as they met his own.
The one person in the whole world she'd been practically dying to see. There was a pain, he was the cause and the cure of it. Hesitantly, she raised a hand and poked his nose.
"Shit." Blitzo muttered, rubbing his eyes tiredly as Millie let out a subtle gasp.
"Are you done?" Alastor asked, his voice crackling with irritation as he looked down at Y/n, whose arms were now crossed over her chest.
"I had to make sure you weren't a dream." she shrugged, turning her head away, "Mox was right, you've been gone seven years."
"Are you mad?" he teased, leaning down towards her ear.
Y/n rolled her eyes, turning to face him once again. She scowled at the man for a moment before a smile broke out across her face.
"I never could stay mad at you." she admitted, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"I..." Moxxie trailed off in confusion.
Alastor slowly wrapped his arms around Y/n's waist.
"Mills, start planning a funeral." Blitzo scoffed.
Before any of the trio could say another word, he had lifted her off her feet and was spinning her in the air.
"Al!" Y/n shrieked through her laughter, "Stop it! You'll mess up my hair!"
He set her down again and the pair released each other.
"You menace." Y/n shook her head, still laughing, "It's like you knew I was thinking of you."
"You were, were you?" he teased, leaning down to her level.
"Y/n, do you know the Radio Demon?" Millie interrupted, taking a step forward.
Both Alastor and Y/n turned to face her.
"What, this old freak?" she asked, elbowing him gently.
"I resent that." Alastor hummed and Y/n laughed again, her joy unbridaled.
"Yeah, we're friends." Y/n confirmed, catching the genuine concern in her friend's eyes, "Known each other for about as long as I've been down here."
Alastor nodded as Y/n looked back up at him.
"Speaking of the old days," he hummed, looking her up and down, "what's this new look you've got?"
"Huh?" Y/n looked down at her clothes before turning and meeting his eyes once again, "Oh, I'm an assassin now."
"No no no, my dear." he shook his head, "This simply wont do. I can't have you wandering around looking like some ragamuffin."
Alastor snapped his fingers and Y/n looked down to see she was wearing a dress now. She almost yelled at him, almost tore him a new one and called him a dick. Then she realized what dress it was she was wearing. Y/n looked up at Alastor with wide eyes.
"This is..."
"The dress you murdered your husband in, yes."
Y/n squealed, throwing her arms around Alastor's neck and pulling him in for another tight hug that he reluctantly accepted. Letting him go, she spun around, watching the way the skit splayed out from her legs.
"You remembered! Oh, Alastor! Thank you."
"The fuck." Blitzo muttered to himself, watching the scene playing out before him.
Y/n beamed up at him as Alastor raised a claw, looping it through the circle on the collar Y/n still wore. All of her other accessories and clothing had vanished, as he had intended, except for this. He hummed thoughtfully and Y/n's cheeks grew hot with shame. She looked away.
"What's this then?" he asked, letting the ring fall from his finger.
It hit the leather of the collar with a quiet thud.
"Look, I... made some bad choices." Y/n sighed, refusing to meet his eyes, "A physical sign of a very real metaphysical decision I had to make."
"Quite possessive, to cast a spell like that." Alastor mused, "You always had a thing for that though, didn't you."
Y/n raised her arms, wrapping them tightly around her body at the harsh remark. She made to move away from him but, as she did, Alastor grabbed Y/n's chin, forcing her to look at him. He watched her expression carefully.
"You could have come to me. You know I would have taken that delectable little soul off your hands in a moment."
"Yeah well, you weren't here." Y/n firmly stated, taking a step back so he no longer held her, "I did what I had to do to survive."
Alastor raised his eyebrows.
"And who exactly did you make this... bad decision with?"
"Al, can we please talk about this later?"
"They don't know, do they."
"They do." Y/n insisted, "I just... please, not now."
"Fine." Alastor relented after a moment.
The pair fell silent, Alastor's critical gaze interlocked with Y/n's indignant one.
"Sooo," Blitzo began, breaking the awkward silence and drawing the attention of the room off the pair and onto him as he took a step forward, coming to a stop beside Millie, "you two fucking?"
"Jesus, Sir!?" Moxxie exclaimed in shock.
"You can't be serious, right?" Y/n laughed in surprise, "No, Blitzo, we're not fucking. The day Alastor has a sex drive is the day Heaven is overrun by... I don't know, giant killer bees?"
"It's more likely than you think, dear."
"What's that-"
Alastor cut her off mid sentence, placing a hand over her mouth as he caught the images flashing across the TV on the other side of the room.
"Hey, rude." Y/n scoffed, pulling herself from his grip.
Alastor ignored her. With a flick of his finger, he raised the volume on the TV. At the sight of his narrowed eyes and tight smile, Y/n turned to see what exactly was bothering him so much.

Hii I luv ur work! can u do Lucifer with a fem s/o who is kinda ditzy-ish? Like, shes kinda stupid sometimes and asks Lucifer dumb questions, and to make it better, reader always wears pink? Like, EVERYTHING pink! Thx!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• being a bimbo overlord was definitely something,a lot of other overlords found it funny how you were able to stay in power before you and Lucifer were a thing
• needless to say once it happened no one was that surprised,Lucifer getting with a pretty little dumb thing after Lilith left wasn’t a big surprise
•but your relationship wasn’t completely like that,he actually thought you were quite charming and nice (which that man needs)
•someone ever piss you off?dont worry now there’s hundreds of tiny ducks in they’re house
•he treats you so well
• nicknames include: my love,my queen,my passion, mon amour (he speaks French),darling and the occasional my precious brat. But that’s only in the bedroom
•speaking of the bedroom…
•feels awful when he rips something off of you and you whine about genuinely liking it,he’ll buy you more of whatever he ripped tho, don’t worry
•if you pissed him off or made him jealous he’ll fuck you till your makeup starts coming off with tears of overstimulation
•loves to see mascara drip down your face in that state
•he never lets you top,you could be 6 feet taller than him and he still wouldn’t let it happen,it’s just a thing with him(you don’t mind it tho)
•he totally makes you sit on his lap whenever there’s an opportunity to sit,he doesn’t care if it’s not appropriate, your sitting right there in between his legs
•even tho you happen to be a ditsy,he treats you with total respect, even tho he is arguably much smarter than you
•but the one time you asked him what 6+7 was he stayed quite for a really long while (don’t feel bad I’m also an idiot)

you were difficult to deal with.
at least, that was satoru’s final analysis on you as the two of you sat across from each other at the small cafe that you insisted on—satoru couldn’t refuse you, not that he wanted to anyway.
he blamed it on the way you looked at him, the way your head had a slight tilt that made your eyes look bigger. you looked directly into his eyes as if you were genuinely paying attention to the ‘uh’s and ‘um’s coming from his lips. that pretty smile on your face as your eyebrows had a slight raise to them.
he wasn’t going to survive and he had a feeling you knew it.
“are you nervous?” don’t even get him started on your voice; soft and sweet, like liquid honey is being poured right in his ears. it made his brain short circuit, his hands clammy, and his throat dry.
he shook his head, “no, uh—nope! totally fine!” he totally wasn’t. everything about you made it hard to be fine.
you laughed. laughed. satoru never heard a more beautiful melody. it was light, airy, quiet but loud in satoru’s ears.
fuck. you were killing him.
“y’sure? i mean..” you briefly looked away from him, then eyes him up and down—satoru swears he felt something twitch. “you’re a bit red.”
a dry chuckle left satoru’s lips. your tendency for being observant was a blessing and a curse. he could barely think—mind clouded with nothing but you.
“it’s uh, the heat. yeah—it’s just hot in here.”
“satoru.”
fuck. fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.
the way you purred his name, so quietly he almost didn’t catch it if his gaze wasn’t totaled in on your lips. it played over and over again in his head like a broken record, he wanted to hear you call out to him over and over and over again.
“yeah?”
you leaned in, his breath getting caught in his throat he almost choked. a slight tilt to your head and your eyebrow quirking up. you looked up at him from between your lashes and satoru swears he almost crashes out.
“am i making you nervous?” you asked, voice barely above a whisper. satoru had to lean in just a little to even catch what you were saying. not that he could even hear it, the sound of his beating heart was louder
“what? can you, uh—can you repeat that?” he hated how out of breath he sounded, his voice matching yours in volume but didn’t carry the same effect as yours did.
“i said,” you leaned in even closer, “am i making you nervous?”
you were dangerously close at this point, your breaths mixing with his. your lips were so close—so fucking close that if he moved just a little he’ll get a taste of them. until they weren’t. you pulled away, a smirk on the same lips he was just thinking about.
“i’ll take that as a yes then.”
difficult was an understatement—you were impossible.

"If the pedestal is beautiful, then the statue must be even more beautiful." (Yandere!Zhongli/reader)
a/n: I do not regret this one bit. while i do feel bad abt yaoyao's suffering, at least i wrote something unhinged again + it aint a zhongli fic without me referencing proverbs lMAO--
unreliable synopsis: “(Y/n) must be a really important person if Rex Lapis made them a statue, right?”
Tumblr media
Yaoyao found a realistic statue inside Mt. Hulao.
As she was exploring the area with Qiqi to find herbs, Yaoyao discovered a secret domain that was only accessible to children her size and smaller creatures like Yuegui. It was horribly muddy and extremely narrow. She wouldn't go there on purpose if she hadn't fallen inside after exhausting herself trying to climb a hill just for a stem of violetgrass.
She anticipated a dense mixture of dust and fog inside the cave, with layers of spiderweb adornments, but it was unexpectedly unscathed with the typical filth that embellishes a place over time. The table was piled high with multiple apparatuses that she was unable to identify, but its aesthetics screamed that it was an adeptus' prideful handiwork. Despite not being refused entry as most adeptal abode should do, she came to an unspoken conclusion that this must have been an adeptus' place, and her curiosity grew by the minute when she noticed a life-sized statue sitting in the middle of it all.
Yaoyao was unable to take her eyes off it as a halo of soft yet lurid orange light enveloped it. The statue wore a brown hanfu that was encrusted with citrine jewels fashioned into dragons and the Geo element's symbol. Their clothes looked ruffled on areas near the waist and thighs as though it was frequently hugged and touched around those parts. But what Yaoyao couldn’t forget the most was their black earring with a white tassel that hung on their right ear. She can't recall who she saw wearing that earring when she first saw it, but she had certainly seen it before.
Admittedly, the statue was nearly perfect if it weren’t for the fracture the child had caused upon bumping into it. Yaoyao would have mistaken it for a real person and apologized if it weren't for the diaphanous and stony texture it possessed.
Still, the farrago between real and fake stirred around the lost child’s head as if it was a major dilemma. She swears she had seen that earring somewhere and that chipping its pointer finger off the statue was an inexcusable and grave mistake. Was this statue designed after someone in history or a character from those fictional tales Master loved to talk about? Yaoyao couldn’t decide which is a likelier story, but she certainly didn’t want it to be the former.
In addition, what made it eerier was the anticipation of calamity on their face. It’s a look not at all visible. The majority would undoubtedly dismiss Yaoyao's perspective and assert that the monument exuded a stoic aura. But if such were the case, why does she see the look of a rabbit about to flee in their eyes? The statue’s face exhibited a great firmness that declared that it wasn't as it appeared on the outside.
The statue looked like it was fearing for Yaoyao’s life after what she had done.
To avoid amplifying her trepidation, the young girl focused her attention elsewhere. Near the statue laid a red baize-covered table full of tapestries and books Yaoyao could only reach by tip-toeing and underneath it was stacked with clothes, herbs, vulneraries, and letters without indications of the sender or addressee’s name. If so many offerings were being made, then someone really cared about whoever this statue stood for. A commendable devotion considering how the last letter was only dated about two days ago.
Whoever this statue was and whoever maintained this shrine must’ve mortified a penchant for humorous literature and scientific breakthroughs. It would've been a strange combination if it weren’t for how everything was aesthetically arranged. It was obvious that the domain was kept immaculate out of love and adoration. Under the watchful gaze of this statue, philosophy and science had united into one entity, and Yaoyao was positively enthralled.
However, it was a seasonable night and due to the touch of Nyctophobia children inevitably have, Yaoyao couldn’t tell the murky difference between excitement and fear as she quickly stumbled out of the cave.
When Yaoyao came back the following week after a busy lantern rite, the domain’s opening vanished. She brought Qiqi along and attempted to show her in quailing distress that asked for confirmation that should’ve been a hole in that wall— but Yaoyao was only met with the zombie’s catchphrase of: “I’m sorry. I forgot.”
There was no reinvasion of the cave's darkness. Not a single hump was left to indicate that something was concealed behind it.
And that led to Yaoyao hunting a certain “illuminated bird” down.
——————
“Aunty! Aunty!”
“Must you grate One's ears with your incessant shouting, child?”
The bird continued to coast on its two legs while Yaoyao halted in her tracks, gasping for air. Although Yaoyao found it excruciating to attempt to keep up with the adeptus' quick treks in the mountains, it was obvious to any outside viewers that the crane was being merciful with her slow and tiny steps.
“P-Please stop aunty! I-I just want to ask a few questions!”
Cloud Retainer sighed and did as commanded.
After letting her describe the location and what she had seen inside it, Cloud Retainer nodded in the affirmation that what Yaoyao experienced truly happened. Yaoyao felt triumphant when the adeptus did not dismiss her babbling as some silly delusion, but she was unable to completely express it when she noticed a glimpse of sadness in her eyes.
“Of course it was real. One knows that location quite well, but One was never permitted to enter. That statue you spoke of would be none other than Rex Lapis’ depiction of (Y/n), the Wayward Pharmacist.”
(Y/n)?
Softly, the adeptus continued, “oh, (Y/n)… One remembers them rather fondly.”
Cloud Retainer did not raise her chin or adopt her customary condescending tone. Instead, her message matched her voice. Yaoyao was not the least bit confused by this sudden shift in demeanor.
They both know that name.
After all, (Y/n) (L/n) was Streetward Rambler’s first human disciple.
Yaoyao never inquires about (Y/n) with her master. All of Madame Ping's disciples were aware that they shouldn't broach the matter. Grief swarmed against Streetward Rambler so frequently that she bathed herself with distractions to wash away the acuteness of such regrets. She had done the most of what she could to relieve certain difficulties she had over the years, including mastering inventions and raising mortal children. While the majority of these were in her favor, the final diversion was less successful.
How can it not be painful when Streetward Rambler always sees (Y/n)’s old cheerful and ambivert nature in Xiangling and Yaoyao's eyes?
This was a rare chance to learn more about (Y/n) than just the faceless figure that her Master frequently likens her to. Madame Ping only ever briefly narrated (Y/n)’s deeds. Yaoyao relied heavily on individuals around her for her adepti history knowledge because she wasn't book-learned enough. Hence, inflicting a sense of confidence that she did not fully possess, the child continued to inquire.
“What were they like, Aunty?”
“You must understand how broad that question is.”
“Oh, r-right. Sorry!” Yaoyao sheepishly laughed. “I wanted to ask what was their personality like. Did they have friends? Or, well, what did they do?”
“(Y/n) was…” Cloud Retainer chuckled. Yaoyao couldn’t see a smile, but she heard it from her laughter. “—an obnoxious human.”
“E-Eh?!…” Yaoyao trembled. “S-Should I be worried that Master always compares me to (Y/n), aunty?”
“What nonsense— of course not. Take such compliment with high honor!” The bird towered her gaze above Yaoyao, clearly offended. Effectively, it seemed as if Yaoyao’s needless worries kindled afresh the snobbish Cloud Retainer everyone knew of. “There are only a few humans One regard as almost equals. Their obnoxiousness is what makes them wholly endearing and wholly human. If there was one true flaw One would nitpick out of all their traits, it would be their inherent obsession with longevity.”
Cloud Retainer shook her head. “Rex Lapis often debated with them over this, but (Y/n) was a stubborn mortal. Many occasions led to them being confined in a miniature domain that he keeps in his pockets. We did not agree with their dreams of becoming immortal. But other than that? (Y/n) was a humble loyalist.”
Yaoyao was inclined to believe that she was right because there were a few biological research sprinkled across the statue's domain. She had even read portions concerning Inazuman beliefs regarding stress and "ikegai" which might be related to a human's lifespan.
“Rex Lapis liked them despite arguing with him a lot?”
“Why, if you were there, you would see how adorable they were whenever they deluded themselves they could win a debate against an Archon,” the bird quipped humorously.
"Immortality had always been (Y/n)'s goal. One often told them to not be afraid of death or die worthlessly, but they never listened. They even tried to curse themselves to accomplish this, and astonishingly, they almost succeeded if it weren't for the Conquerer of Demons' unsleeping vigilance while acting on Rex Lapis' orders. The Archon always has an affectionate expression on his face when they pout over his interferences. One would have jokingly said that her friend is in love with a mortal if One didn't know any better."
“Wow…” Yaoyao covered her mouth with her tiny hands in awe. Neither of them seemed to realize that something was incredibly off about that ‘fun tidbit’. “(Y/n) must be smart if they constantly got Rex Lapis’ protection!”
“Indeed they were— were you doubting One’s abilities?! Had One not said they were close to One’s competency?”
“Ah, right.”
“They were an obnoxiously hard-working individual. Grinding their bones in hopes to grant impediments as a rival to Guizhong and I’s intellectual plays. (Y/n) lived a short life filled with effort and virtue, it is to no one’s surprise that Rex Lapis had conceived a great liking towards them,” she mused.
“Rex Lapis nearly caved and made them immortal at one point. However, he changed his mind after finding out (Y/n) had a human lover…” Cloud Retainer closed her eyes. “Perhaps that was an act of mercy. An Archon’s goodwill so that they wouldn’t have to suffer the fate of grieving for their beloved for all eternity.”
If only she knew the truth.
“They must be really important if they got a statue,” Yaoyao tilted her head, emanating a soft chime from her bell accessory. “Master only said that they were very kind and that they had a lover with green hair, and—”
“And?”
The adeptus was interested to learn what her old acquaintance talked about (Y/n). Did the grandmother compliment them on how cute they were? How, in essence, they were one of her greatest sources of delight and pride? Before Streetward Rambler took up the name “Madame Ping”, these were the typical musings she had over tea with both her and Guizhong. In a sense, Cloud Retainer merely pressed the question because she missed these times—
“And that they had a nice big family around Qingce Village! Two sons, one daughter!”
Cloud Retainer made a choking sound.
Impossible.
“Family?! Goodness gracious, it seemed Streetward Rambler has turned into quite a fabulist over time,” Cloud Retainer shook her head. “No, (Y/n) (L/n) unfortunately did not produce such a legacy.”
Legacy?
“I’m so sorry, I don’t get it, aunty. What do you mean?”
“They did not leave a child for me— for us to look after.”
Cloud Retainer cringed at her uncontrollably bitter tone. There was a point in her life where she cursed (Y/n) for this. Death was not something they can control— yes— but she used to be an ignorant fool who did not respect (Y/n)’s decision to never have children. Perhaps, in a way, this was because she wanted to see a new generation of like-minded people like them, but she will never forget the uneasy looks they gave her whenever she launched into one of her rants.
They may have been Streetward’s disciple but to Cloud? She was like their true mother. Much like most mothers of the old generation, she selfishly wished they left behind even a non-blood related grandchild for her to rear after (Y/n)’s name.
“They… have gone missing. They did not die with a family of their own— we did not even find their corpse. One does not know why Streetward Rambler would tell you that.”
“Oh… I’m so sorry. I didn’t know... It must’ve been a sad loss for the adepti and everyone else.”
Cloud Retainer only looked away.
“There was no pecuniary loss for us when it had happened, sure,” she said. “But yes, it was indeed a sad time for the adepti to lose both Guizhong and (Y/n) at the same time. There could’ve been a new province of knowledge and ventures— these virtues of arts were never grasped because death had stolen their privilege of penning down their strange yet wonderful conjectures.”
“Time and time again, they had failed to accentuate any alterations in their mortal structure,” she continued. “While others sought out their writings regarding their enlightened art pieces, few looked for their progress on human mortality. One only remembers a singular human who came to find (Y/n)’s transcendental medicines. One believes his name was Baizhu. If One’s explanations were inadequate, perhaps you must seek him instead.”
Yaoyao perked up. Well, that’s lucky. She was just about to head to Bubu Pharmacy to look for the pharmacist later.
“Ah, there you are, Yaoyao!!!”
Out of the blue, Ganyu and a face unfamiliar to the adeptus disrupted the scene. This human had indigo braids wrapped up in a tight bow for hair and amber eyes. Had it not been for Ganyu and a cute little bear clumsily climbing the stairs behind her, Cloud would’ve left immediately.
“Marchosius, it has been a long time...”
“♪~?”
“Woah… Is that Cloud Retainer, Ganyu?” The unfamiliar human gawked.
“That is that. One will no longer entertain questions. One shall take their leave at once.” The adeptus did not waste another moment upon noticing Xiangling’s curious gaze. However, Cloud did give Marchosius a look of respect before taking flight.
The little girl frowned.
“Yaoyao?”
“Oh, sorry,” Yaoyao smiled forcefully. “I just remembered I didn’t get to ask her the most important question.”
“Hmm? What question were you going to get an adeptus’ advice for?” Ganyu placed a hand on her chest. “Perhaps I could help? I may not know all the answers, but I do have some connections.”
“I’m just curious…”
Yuguei jumped off the basket as Yaoyao hastily removed it from behind her. The smaller adepti treasure leaped over her head and peered attentively over as if to assist her in locating the object she was seeking. When she did grasp it, she did not do so carefully. Instead, she held it out like a young child showing off a crayon during show & tell.
Ganyu and Xiangling’s blood ran cold as the child presented them with a dismembered finger.
“Ganyu, do statues made by the adepti bleed?”

I usually don't give unsolicited writing advice, but y'all
When you're writing dialogue, it's a new paragraph, almost always.
So don't do this:
He walked in the door. "Hey, how are you?" I smiled. "I'm doing good. You?" He walked forward and gave me a hug. "I'm doing great, it's good to see you again."
Do this:
He walked in the door.
"Hey, how are you?"
I smiled.
"I'm good. You?"
He walked forward and gave me a hug
"I'm doing great, it's good to see you again."
OR, you can even do this!:
He walked in the door. "Hey, how are you?"
I smiled. "I'm good. You?"
He walked forward and gave me a hug.
"I'm doing great, it's good to see you again."
If you write your dialogue and all the actions and thoughts of your characters into one big paragraph, it is difficult and confusing to read.

It was another sunny day at Camp Half-Blood, kids either chasing each other around or actually putting effort to train and what nots.
Surprisingly the archery field was as empty as ever, which is why you find yourself here.
As the daughter of Apollo you tend to neglect your gift of archery rather finding yourself in simple socialization, but today you thought differently.
Your dad would be proud, wouldn’t he?
As you were in the middle of your archery session you swore you heard the sound of bushes rustling.
The sudden noise caused you to turn around, trying to identify where the noise was coming from.
You were met with the sight of a boy.
Not just any boy.
Percy Jackson.
With earlier memory you can recollect, the boy was definitely not the best with a bow and arrow, so why would he be here?
“Uh, hi” the boy spoke up.
“Oh uh, hi?” You responded in a confused yet optimistic tone.
There was an awkward silence for a moment.
You’ve seen the boy on multiple other occasions, you never really talked to him before.
To be honest with yourself, you probably had the slightest crush on the boy.
The tiniest one of course, you barely knew him.
“So, do you need something? Or?” you spoke, breaking the silence.
“Oh! Uh yeah I did, yeah.” He replied with a slight crack in his voice.
Another moment of silence.
“Uhm, what do you need, uh Percy was it?” You questioned.
You didn’t need to ask, of course you knew his name.
It’s not creepy, word just gets around you know?
“Yeah uh that- that’s my name, you’re (Name) right? Daughter of Apollo?” He asked.
“Oh yeah, that’s me.” You replied.
“You’re like really good at archery right?” He asked once more.
“You could say that, being the daughter of Apollo kinda you know comes with it, but my older siblings are definitely better.” You confirmed.
“Well I was uh wondering-“ he responded.
“Mhm?” You simply hummed in reply.
“If you could, i don’t know uh teach me how to get better at archery?” He finally let out.
You looked at your bow and back at Percy.
You wonder exactly why he asked you.
Maybe he just came here in hopes to ask the first person he sees, or maybe he was looking for you specifically.
That’s a nice thought.
“Really?! Okay, I don’t mind!”you replied.
“You don’t?!” He replied.
“Of course not! I don’t have much to do anyway.” You giggled.
Before anything you told him the basics, how to stand, how to correct your breathing, and how to aim better.
The day went on.
Percy missed the target completely most times.
But once he finally got remotely close, you had to say you were proud of the blonde.
You were happy to even spend time with him.
“There you go Percy! That was great, you’re getting better!” You chuckled, swinging you arm over his shoulder squeezing him a bit.
He froze at the sudden contact for a moment.
“Thanks! I really c-couldn’t have done it without you, you know!” He went on blushing.
“Awe don’t sweat it, it comes naturally so I never need to put much in to it, but thanks!” You thanked the boy, feeling your face heat up.
Percy handed you the bow back queuing the end of your lesson.
“You know if you ever want me to teach you again I’d be happy to, just swing by cabin 7 I’m usually there.” You mentioned.
“Yeah sure, but about that-“ he started.
“About what?”
“Well uh, seeing each other again you know? Like not during training” He blushed.
“O-oh! Yeah i wouldn’t mind at all, I enjoy your company!” You responded.
“Really?!” Percy added.
“Yeah really.” You confirmed.
“I uh- like being around you too.” Percy smiled.
The two of you got along perfectly.
Like a puzzle piece.
You definitely had a crush on him.
He might like you back.
Percy definitely is too scared to confess anytime soon.
And maybe that’s good.
Love takes time.
Especially puppy love.

A/n: innocent puppy love is deff the vibe I’ll always go for with my Percy fics so hopefully I’ll have time to do more      (Miles 42 fic in the making!!!!)<3

okay this follower event is intriguing so I’mma try something👀 okay so. I’m thinkin about an Apocalypse AU with Fox. romance for the genre because you know it gotta be romance with Foxy, & girl you can go WILD with the plot, I give you free reign. unless you don’t want free reign, I can just send another ask. but for now BE FREE🦅
Woe To The People
Summary: According to everything you read as a child, the end of the world was supposed to be the end of the story. It’s a shame that none of the stories tell what happens to the people left behind.
Pairing: Commander Fox x F!Reader
Word Count: 2230
Prompt: Apocalypse AU
Warnings: None
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni @imabeautifulbutterfly
A/N: You said be free, and so I was free. You know how in some farming sims, the end of the world happened, and then people have to recover. That's what this is. I could have gone with apocalypse heavy, but I wanted to do apocalypse light. Please let me know if you don't like it. The title came from a CamiCat song called Woe To The People Of The Order. Also, I'm limited on how long I can sit at the computer right now. I...hurt my foot pretty badly and I can't elevate it properly from the computer, lol.

You were a child when the world ended.
You were barely 9 summers old on the day that the blue sky burned red, and acid fell from the sky. You managed to find shelter in a skyscraper, climbing higher and higher up the building as the acid water flooded the rivers and the streets.
And you refused to leave, even when the other people you were seeking shelter with did.
It took almost a week for the flood waters to recede. A week where you survived off of snacks and soda from the vending machines. A week where you didn’t have anyone to talk to, where all you could do is watch the burning sky through darkened windows and watch the flood waters slowly recede.
There was no internet, no TV, and your only source of information came from a small battery powered radio you found in the janitor’s closet. And it was from there that you learned what was going on.
You learned about the natural disasters that ravaged the world. Massive wildfires that raged for days, floods powerful enough to wash away buildings, sinkholes opening in places where it shouldn’t be possible, earthquakes destroying entire cities, storm systems creating tornadoes in countries that have never had one before.
And when the flood waters receded enough for you to leave the building, you ran home. Though you already knew what you were going to find when you arrived. Your home destroyed, completely flooded out, and your family, like every other family in your neighborhood, lay dead.
Burned almost beyond recognition.
At barely 9 years old, this should have been the end of your story. You were not big enough to fend for yourself, haven’t learned enough about the way the world works to even consider it.
But you’ve always been lucky.
Several days later, after returning to the sky scraper because where else could you go, a survivor found you.
A firefighter, to be specific.
His name was Jango Fett, and he told you about the safe haven that his family set up, where they have food, clean water, and doctors. He praised you for surviving as long as you did on your own, calling you clever and resourceful as he scooped you into his strong arms and carried you down the stairs and to the massive fire engine that somehow survived the floods.
He passed you up to another man, who settled you on top of the engine and offered you a proper sandwich while he covered you with a reflective blanket, and murmured assurances that you’re going to be fine, that everything’s going to be okay.
There were fewer survivors than you expected, as men and women trek out of the nearby buildings in groups of two or three.
And then you heard Jango call out that that’s everyone, and the truck started to move, slowly pushing through the debris covering the roads. Miles, the firefighter looking after you, adjusted the blanket so you couldn’t see the bodies strewn across the road.
Jango brought the survivors to the Mereel Compound, a massive group of buildings set up on top of, and around, a dam. The reservoir was empty, and Miles explained that the reservoir had been emptied before the flood, so you had nothing to worry about.
After that, you were sent to a creche, a place for young children to receive the care and education they needed to be productive members of society. Of course, the education was a bit different than what you were used to. But at the same time, you realized that you probably didn’t need to know what a noun was in this new reality of yours.
So you settled yourself in to learn what you needed to survive in this new world.
Tumblr media
It’s been over a decade since the day the world ended, and very little has changed. Oh, sure, there haven’t been any other massive storms since the original ones, but it’s still a struggle to survive.
Enough of a struggle, that you had to move out of the Mereel Compound. You ended up in a building that used to be a mall. And, with help from other young people, you managed to turn it into something like an apartment complex.
Your job in the complex is to ensure that the water wheel, which provides electricity to the homes here, remains in working order.
It’s not a hard job, but it is a very physical job.
In fact, that’s what you’re currently working on. With a thick pair of gloves to protect you from the acid that lingers in the water. The filters do a good job in making sure that most of the acid doesn’t make it this far, but they’re not perfect.
The water needs to go through a seven point treatment before it can be ingested safely. Luckily, over the last decade, the survivors did manage to perfect that technology.
You look up as the door to the water room clicks open, “How’s are the water wheels?” A voice asks from the door. It’s a voice you’re intimately familiar with, seeing as it belongs to your boyfriend.
“In perfect working order,” You reply as you straighten, and stretch your arms over your head to work the knots out of your back, “I’m probably going to have to take water wheel 3 out of commission for a couple of hours to replace a part, but I want to have all of the parts on hand before I start.”
You turn to face Commander Fox properly.
Commander Fox is one of Jango’s many children, and is the man responsible for this complex. He’s a fine leader, you think, quick thinking and decisive. Not to mention protective of the people under his care.
He’s also the love of your life, so you might be biased.
“It’s not like you to check on the water wheels personally,” You note lightly as you pull your gloves off and set them in the solution that keeps the acid from eating through them, “Something wrong?”
“Thorn is ill, so I took his route.”
“That’s unfortunate,” You murmur, “Nothing serious, I hope?”
“Just a stomach bug, but better to isolate him rather than risk everyone else getting sick.” Fox allows, he moves to the side as you step out of the room, before he follows you and waits for you to lock the door behind you, “You haven’t seen anything unusual lately, have you?”
“In what way?”
He folds his arms over his broad chest, “I got a message from Wolffe-”
“From the forest compound?” You ask, after thinking a moment.
“Yeah, apparently there have been raids on the compound, and I’m...concerned.”
“Raids? All of the Compounds from the desert to the mountains belong to the Mereel/Fett clan.”
“Hence my concern.” Fox rolls his shoulders and for a moment you see just how exhausted he is, “Cody’s putting together a group to investigate, but if there are raiders out there-” He exhales sharply through his teeth.
He doesn’t need to put word to his worry.
You’re hardly stupid, your expertise with water and the filtration system makes you valuable. And a target for anyone with malignant motives.
“I’m giving you a guard detail.” Fox says, “And restricting your movements to within the compound.” He drops his hand from the back of his neck, “Your apartment is on a wall, isn’t it?”
“It is.”
He sighs heavily, and you feel guilty for a moment. But then, you didn’t ask for a wall apartment, you were assigned it. “It’s fine, you can crash in my room.”
“That’s hardly proper, Commander.” You tease lightly.
“Your safety is more important to me than propriety.” Fox counters, completely serious, “The alternative is sending you back to the Mereel Compound.”
“Please don’t.”
He chuckles, “That’s what I thought.” He motions for you to follow him, and you easily fall into step next to him, and he glances at you out of the corner of his eye, “Besides, it’s not like you’ve never crashed in my apartment before. Or even in my bed.”
You elbow him, “This situation is a bit different, Fox. There isn’t a small difference between me sleeping with you because your my boyfriend, and me sleeping in your apartment because I need a protective detail.”
He leads you through the bustling halls, and you feel a soft surge of delight when you see that the market is bustling with activity. Only a few years ago, this scene would have been impossible.
How far you’ve all come since the world ended.
Fox’s hand on your elbow encourages you to keep moving, as he guides you through the winding streets, until he unlocks the door to his apartment.
Fox’s apartment is bigger than all of the other apartments in the compound, with good reason, as a whole quarter of the room is filled with the computers that connect him with his brothers, and father. Not to mention the dozens of outposts that dot the country.
He shuts the door on the working half of his apartment and leads you to the living half of his apartment.
And you immediately head to the window, peering out at the red sky and over the wall that separated the compound from the wildlife. You hear some movement behind you and you turn to watch Fox remove his armor.
It’s leather mostly, reminding you of the old westerns your dad used to watch when he was still alive. Still, it offers a fair amount of protection against anyone who might want to hurt him, so you’re happy he has it.
He focuses his gaze on you, and a smile, soft and warm, graces his tired face. “Do you have any idea how stunning you look when you’re framed by the sky?”
Your face heats, and you turn away from him, “You’ve mentioned it once or twice.”
He laughs softly and walks over to you, his arms sliding around your waist, “Then I clearly need to tell you more often.”
You face him again, your hands settling lightly against his chest and smoothing the thin shirt he wears under his uniform, “I know you think it, Foxy.” You tease, “I know you, after all.”
Slowly he leans in and presses his forehead against yours, his gaze locked with your own. “You know, you could just move in with me. That would make everything easier.”
“We’ve had this conversation-”
“And you never think I’m serious, but I am. I want you to move in with me.”
“Ask me again after this crisis.” You counter.
Fox sighs and lifts his hands to cup your face, “We’re not guaranteed tomorrow, angel. Especially with the way the world is. We need to take what happiness we can when we can.”
“And what if you change your mind-” You start.
“Never. I will never change my mind. I love you. I’ve loved you since we were kids in the creche and you were that bossy little girl who told me that I was wearing my jacket wrong. I loved you when we were teenagers and you had your heart broken by my brother and I was your shoulder to cry on. I’m not going to stop loving you. Ever.”
You’re quiet for a moment, and then you huff, “I was not a bossy little girl.”
“You were so bossy. It was adorable. It’s why I went along with it.”
You pout at him, and he grins at you, looking young and boyish in his delighted amusement, “Fine. I’ll move in with you, but only because you’re being pathetic about it.”
“I can live with that.” He agrees, before ducking his head just enough to catch your lips with his.
You lean into the kiss, intent to deepening it, to fan the flames of passion, when there’s a loud chime from the other room, and he breaks the kiss with a sigh. He tilts his head to the bed, and murmurs an instruction to get comfortable, before he releases you.
A giggle falls from your lips as you sit on his bed to wait for him. You watch him walk into the next room and you watch, through the open doors, as he reads something on the computer.
And you watch as tension lances through his body.
“Fox? What’s wrong?”
“Cody found the raiders,” Fox replies from his work room, you get to your feet and walk over to him, “Apparently they’re not raiders. They were informed that you, and several other people who are in charge of food, water, and power were being held against your will.”
“Who are they?” You ask, offended that anyone would think something so poorly of the men who saved you.
“They call themselves Jedi. They’re demanding to meet you and the others.” Fox scowls, “Cody doesn’t think we should do it, he says it stinks like a trap. Dad says that we should, but we should meet in a neutral place. He says that survivors need to stick together.”
“And...what do you think?”
“I think I want you to stay safe, but if this is the best option…” He trails off and then turns and pulls you into a kiss.
You sigh into the kiss, melting under his skilled touch.
“I promise,” He breathes against your lips, “No one will ever hurt you.”

18+ | nsfw | mdni cw sub!coriolanus snow, fem!dom!reader, reader gets mean, mentions of dead parents, mentions of sex work (reader fantasizes about coryo selling his body for money), handjob, edging, cock slapping, nipple play, humiliation, degradation, slight dacryphilia, mentions of mommy kink, light bondage, male squirting/piss
Tumblr media
"you're a piece of shit, you know that?" you growled through gritted teeth as you enter the thirty-minute mark of edging coriolanus snow. the squirming blonde boy was trapped in between your legs with his hands cuffed behind his back with a pair of pink, fluffy handcuffs, and gagged with a thick, pink strip of cloth tied around his head. the head of his cock was nearly purple with how badly he needed release, but alas he was at your malevolent mercy, and deep down he knew he wasn't getting what he wanted anytime soon.
you reached your other hand around coriolanus's body and started tweaking at one of his hard nipples, causing him to whimper and squirm even more against your body. "poor, poor coriolanus snow," you cooed into his ear, your voice oozing with venom. "you've got such a big attitude for such a small boy. barely hanging by a thread as you continue to bleed your dead daddy's money bone dry. what? too self-righteous to get a fuckin' job?" you slap the shaft of coriolanus's cock, eliciting a noise that sounded halfway between a groan and sob.
"i think you'd actually make a decent handful of cash if you just sold your body," you turned your head to gaze at how coriolanus laid his head back on your shoulder, eyes brimming with tears and drool dripping down his chin. your hand left his dick to slowly ghost your fingertips up his torso. "you have such a pretty body — so fuckable and fun to play with. i'm sure there are plenty of men and women who'd love to get their hands on you, baby,"
you gripped his jaw, forcing him to look at you. the way his blue eyes looked so wet and puffy with tears made your pussy throb. "maybe i can even watch as your body gets used by desperate capitol perverts. how does that sound, huh?"
coriolanus shook his head in disapproval, making you tut. "aww, does my baby not like that idea?" you mocked. "well, guess you're stuck with me," you hand traveled back down to coriolanus's cock, but instead of going back to mercilessly pumping his shaft, you began rubbing the palm of your hand over his tip. you watched as his baby blue eyes widened then snapped shut, and you laughed as he began bucking his hips against your touch.
you gasp playfully. "does that feel good, you stupid slut?" you taunted, slapping the shaft of his cock before going back to torturing the tip. "open your eyes, fuckin' bitch. look at me while i play with you like the worthless fuckdoll that you are,"
and he did exactly as he was told, fluttering his pathetic eyes open to stare into yours while you tortured him so exquisitely. "you're nothing," you told him. "your family name means nothing without your daddy's money, and you know that. i mean, look at you — getting your cock tortured and ruined by a girl. is it because your mommy's dead, too? you don't have a reliable older female figure in your life so you cry and beg for the approval of pretty girls like me? huh? what's next, you're gonna start calling me mommy while you plead to cum? god, you're pathetic. i wish you could look at yourself and how close you are to shooting your load while i talk about how much of a worthless piece of shit you are. think about this the next time you wanna humiliate me in front of the entirety of the academy's senior class,"
as you continued to palm the head of coriolanus's cock, you noticed something different in the way he breathed and jerked his hips. this piqued your curiosity, so you kept going. and going, and going, and going, until you watched as coriolanus's face went beet-red as an unknown fluid came gushing out of his cock — almost as if he were squirting or pissing. he blinked and tears came strolling down his cheeks as he whimpered and groaned and bucked his hips. you couldn't help but to watch in amazement as this new discovery in coriolanus's physiology made your cunt ache with arousal.
and you laughed. you laughed right in his face as sobbed with embarrassment, kissing at his tears.
"aww, baby..." you cooed. "look at that — i made you squirt like a girl!"

he couldn't hate yuji.
he couldn't hate the fact that he was stealing your attention away from him more and more with each passing day.
that the small smiles only he could see were now becoming regular when you were around the pink haired boy.
of course, he's more than happy that you're smiling. the shell that had been enclosing you for so long was finally starting to break in the company of safe people who cared about you.
he just wished it was him who made you smile like that.
since when did he start wishing that? he couldn't remember. he couldn't count the days he's spent thinking about you. the nights he spent dreaming about you. you somehow slithered your way into his mind along with every thought that whizzed by.
it used to be just you and him. being unofficially 'adopted' by gojo a few years after he was, you'd come to know him most your whole life. he knew everything about you. he knew the background you came from. the pain you suffered. every hit you took. every time you got back up and kept going.
he missed the days of just him and you. lazy afternoons in each others' dorm rooms, spent basking in the warmth of the sun that shone through the window and talking about whatever. sleepless rainy nights that ended with you in his arms, your breathing in sync with his as the rain pattered against the glass of the window.
and the rare smiles he got to see from you whenever you were with him. him. not yuji.
and its yuji you're waiting for now, as you stand patiently at the end of the hallway, where he said he would meet you after showering and changing after training.
megumi's sharp eyes narrow at the sight of you waiting for someone other than him yet again. without even a second thought he starts padding down the wood floor of the dorm hall.
"y/n." he breathes out, stopping just a few feet from you. you look up at him, meeting his eyes that seem to carry unfamiliar emotion behind them.
"hey..." you reply softly. "you alright?" the question falls from your lips so innocently, in such a clueless matter he can't be upset that you aren't spending time with him. his eyes soften at this, then closing them with a sigh.
his fists then ball up at his sides upon hearing yuji's voice at the other end of the hall. he turns his head and shoots him a menacing look, to which the peach haired boy with widened eyes retreated back to his dorm.
you turn your head and watch as yuji goes back into his room, shutting the door hastily. "megumi, me and yuji were going to-" your irritated tone is cut off when a hand is brought up to your face, tilting your head back towards the raven haired boy as he crashes his lips into yours, a small gasp escaping your lips when your back hits the wall. his free hand is seated on your waist, gripping feverishly as he deepens the kiss.
he pulls back a few moments after, looking into your eyes with a fiery anger yet desperate longing at the same time. his hand holds your face so softly, tenderly, contrary to the emotions brewing inside him. his thumb brushing over your cheekbone so delicately, as if you were fragile as glass. you can almost hear the yearning in his voice when he breathes out;
"look at me, not him."
do u want a part 2?
