when denise is describing her brother as brave and unflinching, the camera slowly shifts to daryl, suggesting denise sees those qualities in him (which is confirmed at the end of the ep but the camera direction as an implication is one of my favourite things) yet daryl says "sounds like we had the same brother" and it's because he saw those same characteristics in merle...it's definitely the first time daryl has mentioned the fact he had a brother to someone from alexandria and for it to be denise of all people is so gut wrenching. also for daryl to learn they had similar upbringings, both faced neglect from parents with substance abuse issues, builds their connection and makes the end that much more devastating.
denise's last monologue
besides the fact it's clear what's about to happen, denise's last words were so impactful as a viewer and clearly on rosita and daryl. every affirmation for daryl that he is a good person becomes emotional. his intimidating demeanour is embedded into him because of his hesitancy to trust people, resulting from his clenched fist around all his guilt and anger. it's prevalent in the next episode when daryl is seen holding onto denise's dennis keychain and runs off to find dwight because he blames himself for losing her.
denise was a selfless person to the core. as cruel as her death is, it aligns with the notion of twd's world building that someone as kind and loving like her will struggle to endure... it's not that the world didn't deserve her, but the world could not accommodate her presence, not for long.
adam sandler movie where he's a twitch streamer and one of his viewers makes a dating site profile for him as a prank but he actually gets a match so he has to leave his room but when he's about to kiss the girl he goes "chat.. is this real" and it leads into the third act breakup
Emma is two years old, the same age as Stella and what’s about her life isn’t that pretty. You see Emma was born and lived in an evil city, abused, and hurt by everyone else. Her parents died when she was a year old and had no one to take care of her. When she went to the orphanage, not even the kids would not want to play with her because she was so different and she was also treated badly by the other adults in the orphanage. She decided to ran away and live as a poor stray child until a year later, she met Stella destroying her evil home.
Stella, a kind and gentle child as we know of, decided to take Emma with her for a better care as she said, “everyone deserves a second chance.” Stella was called as “StellaZilla” who destroyed her home and made a new friend with Emma!
Today, Emma became part of Stella’s life and friendship bond between them, if it wasn’t for Stella, saving her from that city!
