hello how are you it if my first time asking but what do you think it would be like if white beard had a daughter and she went on shanks crew like he haven’t seen his daughter for years and then he see her on shanks crew
also I love you writing you my favvvv
Imagine being Whitebeard's daughter on Shanks's crew
Tumblr media
A mildly naughty bit under the undercut. Also, I'm having to change how I indicate action, instead of using Asterix *, I'm going to change them to [ ].
Tumblr media
Marco: Pops, Shanks's ship is on the horizon, signaling they wanna talk-yoi.
Whitebeard: [rolls his eyes,] Fine let him aboard.
Tumblr media
As the Red Force is pulling itself parallel to the Moby Dick
Whitebeard: [spots you working on the rigging] (y/n)?!
You: dukes [knows you're going to be in trouble, so you try to duck into the galley to avoid him]
Whitebeard: Young Lady, I fucking saw you, don't try to hide from me! Come here.
You: [shuffles in front of him] Hi Pops
Izou: oi, oi, don't go getting familiar with him.
Whitebeard: [holds up his hand] No, it's okay, this one is my biological child.
Ace: You have a bio kid? Why didn't you tell us!?
Whitebeard: I was trying to keep her safe, [turns to you and gives you a pointed look,] which is why I left you on Sphinx, where it's safe.
You: It was boring, so I snuck aboard the supply ship, that you send us every month, and hopped out at the nearest port.
Whitebeard: That supply ship is captained by Doma!
Thatch: Shall I go draft a summons letter sent to him?
Whitebeard: yes, thank you. [Turns back to you,] You should have stayed on Sphinx. Yes, it's boring, but that's because it's peaceful. Do you have any idea how rare and valuable peace is? Why would you leave?
You: Because I wanted more! I wanted to see the world! I wanted to fight strong opponents! Because I'm your kid!
Marco: [mutters loud enough for Whitebeard to hear.] Personality is fifty percent genetic.
Whitebeard: [Ignores him.] I understand that... urge to see the world. But why him! [Jabs a finger in Shank's direction]
Shanks: What's wrong with me?
Benn: [pats his captain's head] We've been wondering that for years.
You: He makes me laugh.
Shanks: [puffs up his chest with pride and cheekily sticks his tongue out at Benn]
Whitebeard: Please tell me you aren't in love with this misfit.
You: Sorry, I can't help who I fell in love with, [shrugs.] He makes me happy, and he treats me well.
Yassop: [yells from the deck of the Red Force] That's an understatement! He spoils her rotten, and she gets first dibs on any treasure we get. And he buys her anything she wants.
Whitebeard: [rubs his chin thoughtfully] First dibs, huh?
You: I also send funds home, back to Sphinx.
Whitebeard: I suppose I'll allow it, then.
Tumblr media
That evening
The Crews: [have somehow started a boat party]
Shanks and Whitebeard: [chatting around a table ladened with food]
You: Daddy, will you pass the rum?
Shanks and Whitebeard: [reach for it, accidentally touch hands, and lock eyes]
the crews: ʱªʱªʱª(ᕑᗢूᓫ∗)
Shanks: (☼Д☼) !! *Books it for his ship*
Whitebeard: [hot on his heels] AKAGAMI!
Marco: wow
Benn: That was a mean thing to do, (y/n).
You: ଘ(✿˵•́ ω •̀˵) ? I didn't do anything, [lying].

Yassop sat at the crow’s nest, watching over the ship as usual and looking for any danger to the Red Force; his attention diverted to bustle below him, his crew involved in their usual antics despite the dangers awaiting them upon their arrival.
He glanced at his Captain talking to his first mate; when he first announced they were to head to Marineford, he was surprised, but he never hesitated; he knew what was at stake, how much lives could be lost if this was left alone
His thoughts were quickly interrupted as a sound came from above him; his head shooting up, he promptly took out his weapon and aimed it at an approaching figure, alerting the crew below him
His eyes narrowed as a sound started being heard the closer the figure got
“What is it, Yassop?” Beckman questions from the deck
Yassop stayed silent with his weapons still drawn, his eyes carefully analysing the figure in approaching them,
“We have company,” Yassop finally responded in a calm voice.
“There!” He said shooting towards the figure
“Ah!” Dokucha exclaims quickly, diving down to avoid the shot
“Hey! Mister, that’s rude!” they exclaim, landing on the deck of the ship only to shriek at the sound of a gun being cocked right behind them
Behind them stood Benn Beckman, pointing his weapon at them the rest of the officers not far behind
“Who are you?” He inquired, the usual cigarette resting on his lips, his eyebrows raising as Dokucha turned around, his weapon lowering slightly
“You’re just a kid…wait, you’re…”
“Dokucha?” Asks Shanks, walking closer to the small child kneeling down next to them
“Uncle Shanks? Uncle Shanks!” They laugh, throwing themselves at the man
Shanks laughed, wrapping his arms around the child, who was visibly smaller than him
"It's been a while since I've seen you" he smiled, brushing their hair
“You know them, Cap?” Question Yassop climbing down from his previous spot
“Did you drink too much yassop, or did you forget their face?” Pipes Beckman
Yassop Glances at the kid for a few seconds, taking notice of the wings, quickly realizing that not only were those the source of the noise that had alerted him before but that they were too familiar to him
He turns his head around in a flash as recognition washes in his features
“This is Hawkeyes kid?!”
“Papa?” The kid questions happily hearing their father's nickname
Beckmann sighs at this
“What are you doing here?”
“Umm, Papa went somewhere, and I wanted to fly for a bit; I flew too far and got lost.”
Shanks snickers at their words, standing up and ruffling their hair
“I think your father is heading to the same place we are headed, so you are in luck.”
“You’ll take me to Papa Uncle Shanks?”
“I’ll take you to him, but be warned,” he says to the child, smiling,” It’ll probably be a bit chaotic when we get there.”
“Okay!” they exclaim, their eyes glancing at the man behind him
“Hey! You were the one shooting me!” they accused, flying towards the sniper
Yasopp laughs, watching the child make a dash at them
“I wasn’t aiming at you, it was a warning shot,” the man replies nervously
“I ‘m sorry, I thought you were someone else.”
“Don’t be hard on the poor man, Dokucha; you did take all of us off guard,” laughed Shanks
“Hmph”
“Just don’t fly too far from our ship,” he says, still ruffling their hair
“I don’t want you getting lost again.”
“Okayyy, Uncle Shanks,”
“Is this really Hawkeye’s kid?” Mutters Hongo, looking at the child
“Im Papa’s kid!” The child cheers
Hongo smiles a bit, shaking his head at the sight
“I like your wings,” he tells the child
“Thank you!” They said, spinning around and flapping their wings
“Mmhm!”
“How do you sleep without smacking your wings everywhere?”
Hongo asks with an amused smile
They gasp offended
“I know how to use them! Let me smack you with them!” They said, shooting toward the doctor
“Still as lively as ever,” Shanks laughs, taking hold of them
“Let me at them, Uncle Shanks!”
“No need for that; Hongo’s one of us,” Shanks responds, putting the child down
“Hongo is our doctor, after all.”
They pout at him
Beckmann raises an eyebrow at the child
“Do you wanna cause a fight, little one?”
“They were insulting my flying!”
Beckmann sighs in amusement at the child
“He was just asking you about your wings.”
“Oh”
He smiles and ruffles the kid's hair,
“Just don’t smack the doctor.”

So Shanks finding Luffy again...seconds before Ace comes...and he ain't happy
Take two, Anchor
Izou was bit by a snake...twice!
In this fanfic, the first meeting between Rouge and Roger was rather hilarious. It involves a frying pan. This was the end result

You ever think about how Dragon and Yassop are parallels? Like Dragon is completely aware Luffy doesn’t know him and has grown into his own person that Dragon doesn’t truly know and accepts it, accepts that that is the choice he made when he gave Luffy to Garp. While Usopp being on the seas (on another Yonko crew no less) is an embodiment of the fact that Yassop never went back to Syrup and now his son is making his own way and Yassop is clearly guilty about it.
Like Yassop didn’t understand the weight of leaving until now it’s here and his son is a dangerous pirate in his own right. While Dragon completely understood he was giving up any sort of relationship with Luffy. Combined with Yassop leaving being the root of a lot of Usopp’s issues while Dragon not being there hasn’t effected Luffy really at all (don’t get me wrong boy has abandonment issues up the wazoo but those form in children when people come and go into their lives not just are never there). Yassop leaving is fundamental to who Usopp is as a character, Dragon not being there isn’t something Luffy ever thought about.
Something about the guy that clearly didn’t think of his son until he was forced to confront that he’d grown up without him and is hiding from that vs the guy that knew he was giving up being in his son’s life and is clearly painfully aware of that even while he clearly thinks about Luffy and openly does love him a ton.
Dragon canonically only ever faced East while on the balcony of the og Rev base because he was always facing towards his son. He tells Kuma that Luffy and his love for him are his greatest weakness. While also being completely aware of the fact that Luffy doesn’t know him and that for all intents and purposes they are strangers despite the love Dragon has for him. Yassop is visibly relieved when Shanks says that it’s not time for him to see Luffy yet because he’s scared to face the son he abandoned.
Something about how Yassop clearly didn’t think about the son who thought so highly of him while Dragon clearly thinks about his son who is on the record as having spent his childhood believing he didn’t have a dad so much.

“Don’t.”
With one leg still thrown over the side of the ship, you whip around and glare at Yassop. You dropped your head onto the railing and groaned, “Come on! I won’t even leave the docks, please!”
Yassop looked up from the gun that he was polishing, shooting you a weary look, “You know the rules, kid.”
“The rules are stupid!”
“Take that up with Shanks if you think so,” he replied in a bored tone.
You give out the most exasperated sigh and hop down from the railing with a huff. The boards creaked under the impact, more so after you began stomping across the deck. Both of you knew full well that talking to Shanks would get you nowhere. He’s the captain and your dad, he isn’t about to take orders from you.
Using more force than probably necessary, you open and slam the door to the captain’s quarters. It doubled as your bedroom, too. That was fine when you were little, but now you wanted your own space. Every time you tried to tell him this, you would just get waved off and told there was no room. It was either his room or bunking with all the other guys, so you begrudgingly accepted your fate of staying where you were. At least he put up a curtain to give you a little privacy.
After flopping onto your bed, you screamed into your pillow at the top of your lungs while kicking your feet on the bed. This was so unfair!
All you wanted was to leave the damn ship on a populated island. The only times you ever got to set foot on solid land was if they stopped at an uninhabited island, but that wasn’t enough for you anymore. You wanted to see people that weren’t your family, see sights that you don’t usually get to see, and pick out your own damn clothes for once! Was that really so much to ask for?!
Violently, you flipped onto your back and scowled at the ceiling, clutching your screamed-in pillow to your chest.
This was all so frustrating, but you didn’t know how to fix it. Talking to your dad was pointless, he never listened to you when you were complaining. The crew was just as bad, they treated you like a baby. But they were all you had. Shanks didn’t let you see, much less talk, to anyone else.
What you needed was leverage. You needed something that would give you enough of an upperhand to get him to listen to you. In essence, you needed blackmail, and you were in the perfect place to find some.
You grinned maliciously as you sprung out of your bed and marched over to his side of the room. Surely there had to be something in here that would give you some dirt on him! You aren’t sure what exactly you’re looking for, but you figure you’ll know it when you see it.
First was the bed. You lifted up the mattress to peek under and see if anything was hidden underneath. Nothing.
Next was the bedside table. You opened all of the drawers one by one. While you did find some stuff, it wasn’t anything useful. Some old maps, pens, notebooks with nothing interesting in them, a mostly empty booze bottle. Nothing scandalous enough to get a leg over on him.
There was a clothes dresser, too. At first you hesitated. No one wants to risk seeing their dad’s underwear, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Pulling open the first drawer, you found a bunch of shirts haphazardly shoved into it. None of them were folded, and it looks like he filled this thing up blindfolded and under intense pressure. No wonder his clothes are so wrinkled. It was a bit of a struggle to close when you were done rifling through it due to how jam-packed it was. Part of a shirt was sticking out after you finally slammed it shut, but you couldn’t be bothered to care. It’s not like you were going to make it look any worse.
The next drawer was similar to the first in terms of how messy it was, but this time with pants. It’s no longer a mystery as to why he perpetually looks like he just rolled out of bed. Whatever, his unfortunate state of fashion is of no real concern to you.
As you dug through the mess of pants, your fingers made contact with something solid. You froze briefly but quickly snapped out of it and grabbed whatever it was you touched. It took a bit of effort, but you freed the object from its tangled up prison. It was a small box. With a lock on it.
Perfect!
This had to be it! If he cared enough to lock it up, then there must be something top secret in here! Giddily, you scurried back to your bed with your findings, not even bothering to kick the dresser shut. You were going to be confronting him with this anyways, no need to be secretive about it.
The box was tossed onto your bed while you dug through your own bedside table, looking for your lockpicking kit. Shanks was about to regret teaching you how to do that.
You threw the kit next to the box and hopped on the bed. The lock was tiny and appeared to be uncomplicated, you’re betting you’ll have it open in under a minute. Grabbing your slimmest hook, you jammed it into the keyhole.
It unlocked instantly. Damn, you might have to make fun of your dad for using such a useless lock.
The lock was discarded and you opened the box. It was full of pieces of paper and photographs. Interesting. You pick up the first photo you see. It’s facing down, the back of it says ‘Uta - 2’. You flip it over, curious to see what that note on the back means.
It’s a picture of your dad when he was much younger, but that wasn’t what stuck out to you. What really caught your eye was the little girl he was holding. She was very young, and her hair was split down the middle with one side being white and the other red. Both of them were grinning from ear to ear. You can’t remember ever seeing your dad look that happy.
You look at the note again. ‘Uta - 2’. The girl looked to be about two years old, so that was probably her age. Was Uta her name? That made sense.
But who is she?
No one has ever mentioned someone named Uta being on board. As far as you were aware, you were the only child that’s ever been with them. Maybe this picture was taken before Shanks became a pirate? No, wait, it can’t be that either. He’s never not been a part of a pirate crew.
You need more information. Setting the picture aside, you start pulling more stuff out of the box. There’s some sheet music. The handwriting is somewhat neat, but also big and exaggerated with more loops than necessary and hearts dotting the i’s. Like it was written by a child. On the bottom, the name Uta was signed in large cursive letters.
Another photo is taken out, Shanks isn’t in it, but Uta and other members of his crew are. Uta is standing on a box like some sort of a makeshift stage, and appears to be singing if you had to guess. The others were clapping and cheering her on. This was definitely taken a while ago. Benn’s hair hadn’t even turned gray yet. The back of it said ‘Uta - 5’.
The next picture once again has Uta in it. She’s sitting next to a little boy with black hair and a scar under his eye.
Why does your dad have so many pictures of some girl you’ve never even heard of? This definitely feels like a secret, but you’re so confused about what you’re finding that you can’t bring yourself to feel like this is really a victory for you. You need to dig deeper.
Once again, you reach for another photo, one with three people in it this time. You instantly recognize Shanks and Uta, who you don’t know is the seemingly newborn baby in Shanks’ arms. His expression is nothing but soft and adoring, while Uta’s is a combination of curious but excited.
How many damn kids has your dad taken in and proceeded to just never mention ever?!
You flip over the picture to figure out who this one is supposed to be, but freeze up when you read it.
‘(Y/N) - Just got here!’
That’s… you? You and Uta were here at the same time, but you’re just now finding out about her? What the hell is going on?
Frantically, you unceremoniously dump out the rest of the contents of the box. You’re desperate to find answers, anything that could explain why your dad has this top secret box dedicated to whoever this Uta girl is.
A picture that stands out to you is one of Uta helping the baby- you- stand. You’re a little older here, roughly a year old it would seem. A quick glance at the back confirms your guess as correct, and that Uta is seven. She’s six years older than you. Since you no longer have the squished face of a baby just welcomed into the world, your features are actually recognizable. This is definitely you and not just some other kid named (Y/N).
The mystery unraveling in front of you is so engrossing that you’re deaf to the world around you. That is, until the door to the room is thrown open. Your heart leaps into your throat. Oh shit! Why is he back so soon?! You scramble to quickly but quietly pile your findings back into their box.
“(Y/N), I got you something in-” Shanks voice falls flat and stops abruptly in the middle of the sentence. No, no, no! How does he know something is wrong already?!
You didn’t close the dresser.
Before you can even begin to think of what to do next, Shanks drops whatever he was holding and closes the distance between you two and rips the curtain to the side. All you can do is shrink in on yourself and gawk at his furious expression.
The second his eyes land on the box in your hands, he snatches it into his own. He stomps away and slams it onto the dresser while hastily rifling through it. He hasn’t said a damn thing to you since the realization of what you did.
Damage control, you need to do damage control, and fast. You move to stand, and utter out a quiet, “Dad?”
“Sit. Down,” his tone was sharp and left zero room for argument. He’s never spoken to you so coldly, even during your worst arguments.
All you wanted was to have a chance to explore the town, and now look where that has gotten you. This was a stupid mistake. Shanks and his crew were all you had, and now you’ve made a huge problem of yourself. What would happen to you if he decided you weren’t worth the hassle anymore?
You couldn’t help it. Between all the previous confusion mixed with his harsh treatment broke the dam and tears started to pour down your face. You sniffle loudly while furiously wiping at your face, and force out, “I-I’m sorry.”
With your head being in your hands, and your eyes clouded with tears, you have no hope of being able to gauge his reaction. Or see if he even cares enough to pay you any mind. Probably not, not when he’s this mad at you.
Your bed dips from the weight of Shanks sitting down next to you. Without hesitation, you latch onto him, burying your face in his coat while sobbing out apologies. Anything to make him stop being so upset with you. Much to your relief, his arm came around your back and held you to him.
“It’s… fine. I wish you wouldn’t have done that, but it’s nothing to cry about,” his voice was strained, but held the warmth that had been previously absent.
Even with that, you needed time to calm down. While your dad being annoyed with your attitude was hardly a new occurrence, him being genuinely upset was. Frankly, you didn’t know how to deal with this, and you were still terrified about how much damage your actions just did.
Shanks didn’t say anything else, instead choosing to sit in silence with you. You couldn’t decide if that made things better or worse. Actually, you could decide. The lack of words was absolutely worse, but you didn’t know what to say right now either.
“Yassop told me you tried to sneak off the ship. Again.”
Nevermind. You wish to go back to silence. All you did in response was bury your face deeper into his coat while mumbling a quick ‘sorry’ for your actions. You were going to dump out that snitch’s booze stash later.
His chest heaved with the sigh he let out, and his hand came up to pat your head, “I know that you don’t like this, I understand that, but sometimes you have to do things you don’t like.” There was a pause, but when you didn’t respond, he continued, “It’s for your own good. The world is a dangerous place.”
“But… But you’re an emperor. You’re the Red Haired Shanks. What’s the worst that could happen if we just go for a walk in town?” As far as you’re concerned, there’s no threat that your dad can’t handle, not to mention the rest of his crew. Even if someone is stupid enough to try something, they’ll deal with it.
He chuckled, but it was humorless, empty, “Just because I’m an emperor doesn’t mean that bad things won’t still happen. That bad things haven’t already happened.”
“Where is Uta?”
Bringing her up was risky, you knew that, but you need answers. You need to get to the bottom of why Shanks is like this, and this is the closest you feel that you’ve ever come to finding out.
Shanks became rigid at the mention of her name. The hand on your head was now squeezing, bordering on painful from how tight it was. You tried to wiggle away but couldn’t break his hold.
“She’s gone.”
“She died?!” While you didn’t know what to expect, it certainly wasn’t that.
“No!” Shanks' hand dropped down onto your shoulder and wrenched you away from him. His eyes were wide and wild, “She’s not dead!”
You visibly recoiled from him, you can’t remember a time you’ve ever heard him yell. Once again, you can feel your eyes start to water and your lip tremble. God, what you wouldn’t give for this whole interaction to just be over already. Or for it to have simply never happened in the first place.
His face fell, and he looked away from you with a grimace. Mercifully, his grip had relaxed a bit and no longer felt like a vice on you. “Uta is alive and well, she just isn’t here. Not anymore.”
“Why not? Where is she?” You had more questions with every answer he gave, this wasn’t making any sense. What could have happened to result in her not being here? He wouldn’t just… abandon her. Would he?
“Because I wasn’t able to protect her,” his voice was so quiet that if you were any further away from him you wouldn’t have heard him. “She needed to be left in someone else’s care for her own good. I wasn’t able to keep her safe, and that’s something that I will never let happen again. Not with you.”
“But what happened? I don’t understand,” you felt like you were simultaneously getting closer and also further from the truth. Nothing about this was making sense. There was a bigger story here, but he was seemingly hellbent on keeping his answers to you vague.
“You don’t need to understand, you’re just a child. Do both of us a favor and forget about what you saw and what’s been said,” Shanks got to his feet, moving to leave not only the conversation, but also the room entirely.
You launched yourself off the bed and grabbed onto his arm, “Wait! You can’t just tell me to forget about this! I want answers!” You weren’t about to let him get out of this discussion so easily.
“Well, (Y/N), sometimes you don’t always get what you want. We’re done talking about this,” the way he spoke to you was slightly condescending. He turned to face you and crouched down to be at eye level, “How about you take a nap? Seems like you need one.”
You were getting on his nerves, that was a given, but you couldn’t up and let this go. Scoffing, you crossed your arms and glared at him, “I don’t need a nap, I’m not a baby.”
Shanks smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes, “Could’ve fooled me with the way you’re acting today.”
As much as you wanted to yell and be mad about what he just said, your mind went blank. You felt dizzy and like you couldn’t remember how to control your body. A second later, you stumbled and crashed into Shanks who caught you with ease.
Haki. He used Haki on you.
Distantly, you registered being lifted off the ground. Your head was pounding and felt like it was packed with cotton to the point of bursting. A few steps later, you were dropped on a bed. You’re so out of it that you can’t even tell if it’s yours or his.
An attempt was made to say something, anything, but your tongue refused to cooperate. All you could do was stare up at the blurring form of Shanks helplessly, wondering why he would go to such an extreme over you asking a few questions.
The last thing you remember is a blanket being pulled over you before everything fades to black as you’re forcibly thrown into a restless sleep.

Yassop: So, how's your mother?
Ussop: She died.

Part 3 of Episode 3, live reaction (as someone who has never watched or read the series, so this is the only One Piece content I’ve ever gotten into):
1) Huh, so there’s other races in this universe. We got humans, and now we have shark-people.
2) It’s a little ironic that Luffy, who wants to be a pirate, doesn’t really do any pirating in the show while Nami, who hates pirates, has done the most pirating among the main characters.
3) Ohhhhh, so that’s why the song goes, “Usopp’s doing that marksman thing”. So, his thing is a slingshot, got it.
4) Usopp’s dad was part of Shanks’ crew. What are the odds?
5) This show is so good at replicating the feel of an anime that I’m starting to get Power Rangers/Kamen Rider vibes. I swear, it feels like JAPAN made this show, which blows my mind. I guess it really pays to have the original author guide the direction of the series.
6) Damn, the misdirect that the “abused” kitchen staff were actually working for Kuro the whole time. Nicely done. That said, I’m not sure how I feel about the Black Cat pirates being literally cat-themed.
7) Oh, that twist where Usopp kept crying pirate not because he was terrified, but because he wanted to see his dad! Well done again.
8) Cliffhanger ending! So, Koby is back into the show. Interested to see where this leads, especially since Usopp is working with Koby to stop Reverse Krueger-er, I mean Freddy Flash-er, I mean Kuro.
Onto episode 4.

| One piece characters and a tall Y/n p.t 3 |
Featuring - Red Haired, Warlords/Cross guild
G/n
Shanks -
He likes this. He likes this a lot. He will lean on you though and he will use his full dead weight on you, so be careful.
In general he likes the look of all people too, they're aesthetically pleasing. This man smacks people's asses though, friend or partner, and he will try to exploit your height to his advantage with this.
Benn Beckman -
Not too bothered, it's not a big deal to him. Just don't make him feel small, not like you really could, or he will show you just who's in charge here.
For some reason he's very drawn to long arms, they're just something he likes.
Yassop -
Immediately no. He's not having this. He will not stand for it. It's okay though, push him over because he's acting like a child.
Anyway, he'll get used to it but don't tease him relentlessly (please do)
Boa Hancock -
She sees most people as beneath her so this is a change. She's not liking it so much, especially being on eye level with you or looking up.
Eventually, if she likes you enough, she'll have to suck it up and deal with it.
Doflamingo -
(I'm going to pre warn you, I'm not a Doffy fan. I despise this man)
Ugly looking smile, and it's hard to tell if he wants to cut you down or if he's actually enjoying this. If he does actually like you enough it will be fine but he'll complain about having to crane his neck.
Do not feel bad for him, he deserves the pain for being naturally tall in the first place.
Crocodile -
Not a happy lad.
It bothers him but he doesn't hate it, he will warm up to it eventually. But don't comment on it or he will threaten to turn you into dust.
He likes long legs though so this is a bonus, especially if you're someone who wears skirts or dress trousers.
Mihawk -
Not an issue, it's not something he'll notice so much. There's too many tall people on the Grand Line for him to be bothered anymore.
But if he's got a soft spot for you, he will complete you on it if you're feeling bad.
Buggy -
He wants to climb you, but he's also intimidated.
Step on him? He's not sure if he wants to to or not. But for some reason he does find this attractive. Especially if you're leaning over him. He'll blush, a lot.
Again let me know who to add and also I do requests as well, it helps because I'm not good at coming up with scenarios. I also do oneshots if requested.

Do you guys ever think about the fact that Usopp never got a surrogate parent. Out of the 3 Stawhats that have living biological dad’s Luffy (Dragon), Sanji (Judge) and Usopp (Yasopp), Usopp only had his mom who died soon after Yasopp left.
Franki is sort of like a weird uncle to him, but that is it. Oda, better give him a great payoff with all that for shadowing, I swear!

Conversation from these posts-
I'd like to address both of these at once, because I think they're very much related.
One Piece is not actually very interested in explicitly condemning almost anyone. Constantly, characters who have done things many may view as beyond unforgivable, are still portrayed in ways that make them likable, and are accepted by main characters. Not because the main characters approve of their past actions, but because as they're not actively harming anyone at the moment, they see no reason to disapprove of them. Or, because they have no inclination to judge them and simply take them as they are.
There are countless characters whose terrible deeds are not censored or sugarcoated, who are still made to be enjoyable, likable characters. Their motivations are not just explained, but portrayed with the full depth of their emotions. This could be interpreted as sympathetic, but I think it's rather matter-of-fact. There's a wide spectrum of this, and it may come across that those on the lighter end of it are being justified or forgiven by this portrayal, but taken in the full context of what One Piece has to say about these characters, I think it's clear that the judgement is left up to us.
In a lot of simpler stories aimed at younger audiences, the main characters are moral guides for the reader. One Piece is not one of them. Not that I don't think it's not trying to teach us anything, but rather than right and wrong, it's how to enjoy life to the fullest. Right and wrong is left for us to discern ourselves without the overt cues of a morally didactic story. I think the depth of the portrayal of bad and questionable actors is primarily to be compelling and enjoyable, but it's also a candid expression of humanity.
I don't think Shanks is a perfect moral character, nor is he supposed to be. He's Luffy's hero, not ours. Same with Roger.
It's true that being called to the sea is given a particular romance, but their misdeeds made in the name of following it aren't just glossed over. Rather, I think the focus on it is very much on purpose, because the same will lives in Luffy and The Strawhats.
Who aren't just avoiding the same mistakes because they're inherently better, but because they're informed by the mistakes of the previous generations.
Usopp, like Yassop, longed for the sea. But he anxiously made sure Kaya was on the way to health, taken care of, and okay with him leaving before he left. He's looking forward to coming back to see her. As much as Usopp has always had a kind heart, you can't say this wasn't influenced by his experiences with his parents.
Luffy, like Roger, longed for the sea. Like Roger and Garp, he has deeply selfish inclinations. However, Luffy is sensitive to the suffering of others, and would never leave anyone behind. This has a lot to do with loving Ace and Sabo, respectively victims of Roger's selfish pursuit of his dream and the institution of injustice Garp carelessly lives by.
I don't think it's a stretch to say Nami was influenced by Arlong's inability to forgive humanity, strengthening her resolve to break the cycle and forgive Jinbei for letting Arlong loose.
Anyways, I think the lack of judgement on the part of Luffy and Shanks is a big part of their power to get people to follow them, and a big part of their successes. But the narrative isn't telling us to also accept murderers and deadbeats, or that they're actually great people. It simply shows them how they are, which is human.

Imagine annoying the shit outta the red hair pirates
I can't believe I'm doing a stupider one piece version of the Who's on first bit
Tumblr media
Shanks: okay, are you listening?
You: *looks him dead in the eye, hearing him just fine*, huh?
Shanks: *lets out a tired sigh* very well there are five marine outposts on this island, they're in the shape of the world government's symbol. I'm talking the center building, which is the unit's headquarters, where most of the ranked marines reside. Benn will take the southern outpost. Lucky Roux will take the western outpost and then Yassop will take the eastern one, and you will take the northern base with most of the crew.
You: Okay
Yassop: *not convinced you were listening* who's taking the eastern outpost?
You: Roux's taking the western outpost.
Yassop: WHO not Roux!
You: here? *Points at the map*
Shanks: Yes, up here
You: But you said Yassop over here at the Eastern outpost?
Shanks: *presses his forehead against the table and gently bangs his head on it.* Yes, I did. Fine, then what about here then? *points at the northern outpost.
You: Benn's at the southern outpost.
Shanks: *groans* can you even hear me?
You: *laughs* yes, you take the central base, Roux takes the western out post, Yassop takes the eastern, Benn attacks the southern one, and I attack the northern with the crew.
Yassop: You actually were listening
You: I do that quite a lot, you people are always surprised.
Shanks: because you act and look like you're not listening.
You: I know, I do it mostly for my own amusement.
Yassop: *puts you in headlock and gives you a noogie* You're lucky you're cute.

At port
Benn: *finalizing the list of supplies needed, and who is getting them*
You: *singing an onomatopoeia of the instrumentals of topic by the champs* wa wewaaaAaAaAa wah wa wewaaaAaAaAa wah *hip checks Benn into the water* tequila wa wewaaaAaAaAa wah *dances in place*
Benn: God damn it (y/n)! *Climbs back on the dock* You're gonna be paired with me and the boss.
You: Noo!
Benn: Yes! And in the meantime you get to assist me our supplies. *hooks his hands under your armpits and picks you up and deposits you on a chair next to him.*
You: *whines*
Benn: do you know why I do this, managing the cargo? So we don't starve.
You: And because your needs were never met when you were a child, and so now you go out of your way to take care of the needs of others while actively neglecting yourself?
Benn: ... Okay look, besides all of that, it needs to get done.
You: What ever lets you sleep at night, sweetheart.
Benn: I loathe you sometimes.
You: *winks and smooches at him*
Tumblr media
The Crew: *just finished doing maintenance after a storm damaged the ship and are packing up their supplies*
You: *Hiding in a cabinet and makes the water drop noise with your mouth*
The Crew: *freezes*
Shanks: *dangerously close to yelling*
Yassop: God damn it, I don't have the energy to look around for some stray leak tonight.
Hongo: suck it up, we gotta find it before it leads to flooding.
You: *makes the noise twice again*
Lucky Roux: Especially considering the pantry is below this.
You: *makes the noise again, and tries not to laugh*
Benn: It sounds like it's coming from in here *opens the cabinet you're hiding in* .... (y/n) why are you up here? Y'know what, I don't wanna know, do you see the leak?
You: No *makes the noise while looking him dead in the eyes*
Benn: You little! *grabs you by your ankle, pulls you out, and lifts you by off the ground.*
You: *can't stop laughing*
Benn: I found the leak.
Shanks: what? No.
Benn: *shakes you* make the noise brat, or I'll spank you.
You: Promise?
Benn: Do it again.
You: *tries several times, but fails because you can't stop smiling and has to compose yourself before you can make the noise again.*
Yassop, and Lucky Roux: Can we throw them in the brig for the night.
Shanks: You may not, but we can make them do an idiot check to see if we missed any leaks while the rest of us go to bed.
You: That's fair.

hey I love your writing so much I had an idea but I’m not good at making stories so the other day I remember that when I was little I used to run a lot so I fell from a boat and you know I was swimming away while my parents almost got a heart attack how about a child reader with red haired pirates it would be funny , only if you want you don’t need to do it have a nice day or night
Take off (Red haired pirates x m!child!reader)
A/N Here we go, guys can you believe this is the last of the requests from APRIL like that’s so crazy to me, I want to take you for all of the requests and for trusting me to bring them to life
Reader here is replaced by Dokucha which stands for Readerin Japanese
Dividers by @/saradika

The Red forced was the same as always, with lively chatter among the crewmates as they partied over their newest conquests, not taking their eyes off the child running along the Deck
“What has got you this happy, Dokucha?” Lucky piped in, taking a bite from his chicken and laughing merrily at the young boy
“Uncle Shanks found a plane in the loot!” He cheered, waiving around said toy around
“Why did they even have toys? The crew didn’t have any children on them,” Limejuice questioned, downing down a mug of beer
“The crew was big on woodwork; they had a couple of pieces here and there littered on the loot,” Shanks answered, joining the group with his own mug in his hand, his first mate not far behind
Dokucha grinned, ignoring their chatter as they launched the toy, beaming as it glided around and rode on the same wind that pulled the Red Force along
“Dokucha, watch where you are going!” Yassop called as the child ran behind the plane, trying to take hold of it
“Don’t w-
His words die out as the floor disappears behind him, and they quite literally run themselves out of the ship. The last thing he heard was the scream of his name as he made an impact with the water, another splash following after his
He gripped onto Beckman’s similarly soaking clothes as he pulled himself over the side of the deck
“Im sorry, Daddy,” he cried, hugging him tighter and sobbing into Beckman’s already drenched shirt as they both sat on the Deck, Hongo crouching in front of the two, checking over the boy, the rest of the crew crowding around the two much to the displeasure of the first mate, a glance to his captain was all the latter needed to quickly dismiss them, leaving only the officers littering the deck
“Everything seems in order; no water seems to have entered the lungs, and no damage from the impact; next time, make sure you pay attention to where you’re running, okay?” He asked, giving Dokucha a small smile as he ruffled his hair and took his leave
Teary eyes glance up at his father, trying to gauge his emotions
He sighed, turning them around on his lap so that they were facing him, as he wiped the tears from the boy, his own dripping hand not making much difference
“I saw the dive you did before you hit the water,” he comments, giving up in the action as he recalls the safety position he had seen them take before colliding with the water
“You told me to do it if I ever fell in the water.”
“You did well; you had good reflexes as well; now we just need to practice keeping our eyes on the path,” he said softly, rubbing his knuckles against his cheeks
“You’re not mad?”
“We’re pirates; we’re going to have our slops from time to time; everyone here has fallen to the water at least once, though not everyone was as gentle as you, ain’t that right, Punch?”
The latter lets cackles as he happily takes over the small boy as he recalls the less-than-proud moments from the crew
“You know, Monster here once fell overboard; you should have seen the little rascal. It was like watching a b….
Beck watches his son regain his previous demeanor at Punch’a stories go on, and he heads to his quarters to replace the now flimsy box of cigarettes lost to the sea
“Shanks,” he called
“Hm?”
“You are banned from giving any Toys to Dokucha.”
“W-What, come on, Beck! We can talk about it,” the captain whined, following after his vice-captain
