Aesthetic or not, here's some academic things to do
Reorganize your binders/notebooks
Be honest; when was the last time you organized the contents of that one binder? It's probably a good time to put your papers in order before you lose any of them.
Learn any language but Latin
There are literally so many languages out there, and there are resources to learn every single one of them. Latin is dead for a reason. Go for other languages, dead or not; Romanian, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese, Danish, Filipino, Estonian, hell, you could even learn Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Make study guides for your friends/classmates
Ah, studying; getting to the good stuff. You could make study guides/helpers(?) in different forms, such as practice tests, sets of questions, flashcards, and others. Also, not only you benefit from making these, so do your friends. If you don't gatekeep the study help, that is.
Consume media on time periods and historical events
A lot of shit has gone down during the lifetime of planet Earth, and there are plenty of books talking all about it. If books don't tickle your fancy, there are also movies and TV shows! I recommend doc films and non-fiction books, since they seem to go into detail on historical events. But!, I cannot guarantee that all of the them are unbiased and accurate.
Write letters to your older or younger self
Find an envelope and a sheet of paper, and begin writing. You could ask questions or give advice to your different self, or talk about what is going on around you, as if you're writing a letter to a distant friend or relative. For example, the covid pandemic would be something interesting to write about; how your health is, what your everyday life looks like with the precautions, and so on. If you wish, you could also add photos from the present into the envelope aswell. Finally, write who and when is it supposed to be opened, and put it away to look at it again some time later.
Practice your handwriting
It will surely take a bunch of paper and practice, but for the sake of nice handwriting one would do anything, right?
Write poetry, stories, or just anything that goes through your mind
There are so many things you could possibly write about. It could be a piece describing someone or something, thoughts about what is going on around you, or maybe keep a rant book to get things off your chest. It's also good practice for handwriting!
Learn new vocabulary
Oh the struggle of words. Not knowing the definition to something or not knowing the right word to use in your writing. I'm not telling you to read the dictionary for fun, but read more in general, and write down the new and unfamiliar words that you learn as you read.
Practice your artistic skills
What I said about writing also applies to art; there is always something to draw about, whether it's a person, an item of choice, or maybe something else. When you are already confident enough in your skills, try something that is new to you or that you haven't done in a while.
