You know what is funny? I think the last two days really have shown me how fluid my gender really is (for the curious I actually identify as a subcategory of genderfluid called boyflux but it is way too niche so I normally say trans or transmasc)

This was the outfit I felt comfortable wearing yesterday

And this is what felt most right today

Bear in mind the crop top gave me strong gender dysphoria yesterday since I didnt feel masc enough in it - today i dont care at all and went even more femme than even that xD

In short; yesterday was masc day and today is androgyneous/genderless 🤣

(Psa: your gender expression doesnt have anything to do with your gender identity so I you relate to my experience but for instance feel like your gender identity is solidly male or female that is valid as well ^_^ )

Part of a new friend group where there's a few of us who are trans/queer and it's super awesome cause they're rlly supportive and kind and we can share experiences and they check and actually use my preferred pronouns and it's a huge step up from my old friend group where I was literally scared to open up to them cause they had some pretty transphobic opinions.

That's great! Surrounding yourself with people who support you and who you can trust is super important <3

First off, thank's for asking! The fact you are asking and finding out at all shows ur being a great ally

Do research, figure out what their labels mean. The best research you can do is ask them directly how exactly they define their gender/sexuality since it can differ from person to person even if they share the same labels.

Make sure of their pronouns and terms to use about them. You can make jokes as long as it is not at their expense and are something you think they would find funny. And apologise if you did somehow offend them.

On tumblr, you can reblog things to do with their label and tag them, or even in the comments

To be gender affirming, just use terms that they like, i honestly cant think of a much better way.

Just treat them as you normally did before they came out, or as any other person. Because we are lgbt+, doesnt mean we arent human, or our labels are the only thing we care about, we still have intrests in silly video game series and such. Just treat them normally and not in a different way because of their gender or sexuality

Gender is so weird guys

I'm one of the girls, I'm a girl's girl and I'll cry if you say I'm not, but I'm not a girl's girl.

I'm also Just Some Guy, y'know? I'm a little weirdo, a freak, a little girl with dirt on his knees and fire in his eyes.

I'm her husband but I'm also her girlfriend.

I'm neither a man nor a woman but a weird recluse writer who lives on the edge of a cliff where its always stormy.

I dress like an alt older brother from an early 2000's movie but also like a 90's lesbian (sometimes it's the same outfit).

In conclusion, labels are weird. I'm a boyfriend and a girlfriend, a husband but not a wife, a girl but not a woman, a guy, a man, a friend.

All that being said, he/him and they/them are still very much my pronouns (never she/her).
