Teachers at my school love to call me 'it' because they can't figure out my gender and refuse to use they/them in a singular sense but little do they know my queer arse gets so euphoric and powerful when called 'it'

Do you think "it/its" is a neopronoun?
-yes, it's rarely been used for people respectfully before so it's a neopronoun,
-no, it existed before as a pronoun so it's not a neupronoun,
-it's complicated/it depends (elaborate in reblogs, comments or tags),
I think using "it/its" pronouns is valid, but I'm not sure if it counts as using neopronouns or not.
If this one is disrespectful/harmful/transphobic in any way, feel free to not post it!
THIS IS NOT TO INVALIDATE ANYONE THIS IS JUST YOUR OPINION

I was just thinking recently about how to be an ally to my queer friends on tumblr. Do you have any suggestions? What kinds of things would be supportive and gender affirming to you? How can mutuals support you?
Hi there!
Usually i would answer on @yourbigendergremlet but its fine
First off, thank's for asking! The fact you are asking and finding out at all shows ur being a great ally
Do research, figure out what their labels mean. The best research you can do is ask them directly how exactly they define their gender/sexuality since it can differ from person to person even if they share the same labels.
Make sure of their pronouns and terms to use about them. You can make jokes as long as it is not at their expense and are something you think they would find funny. And apologise if you did somehow offend them.
On tumblr, you can reblog things to do with their label and tag them, or even in the comments
To be gender affirming, just use terms that they like, i honestly cant think of a much better way.
Just treat them as you normally did before they came out, or as any other person. Because we are lgbt+, doesnt mean we arent human, or our labels are the only thing we care about, we still have intrests in silly video game series and such. Just treat them normally and not in a different way because of their gender or sexuality
I hope this helps, and im glad you asked anon! :)

It is inherently fun and sexy to say statements that swap the traditional genders of pronouns and terms mid-statement, such as: "I'm going to make him my wife" "She's my boyfriend" "Who says a guy can't be a pretty princess?" "That girl's the coolest dude I've ever met" "She's a madman who has to be stopped" "It's not his fault he's a material girl" Gender is a set of watercolors and the prettiest shades come from mixing the paints together.

Okay so I just watched a video of a boy who once identified as trans still got bottom surgery after he realized he was cis and people were so fucking rude? Like just because this cis dude has a vagina people were calling him transphobic and wishing death upon him.
So this is a reminder that when we as a community advocate for bodily autonomy and gender surgeries that means everyone regardless of gender can do whatever they want with their bodies.
If someone who is cisgender wants top/bottom surgery THEY CAN GET IT. If someone wants facial plastic surgeries that we usually find creepy like buccal fat removal or eye lifts THEY CAN GET IT. And here’s the really controversial one but if someone wants to do things that harm their body like hard drugs or diy mods THEY CAN DO IT!
Because body autonomy isn’t just “I can get bottom surgery to pass” or “I can get an abortion” it’s also all the wild stuff that makes us uncomfortable and that’s okay.

This was tagged as butch bait, so I presume this is a jest post and I decided not to reblog directly from the original poster because of this. However butches and gender nonconforming women almost NEVER get shown as old in media, and our beautiful middle aged (and older!) butches never get to the public eye!
There is a future for butch and gnc women. We can grow old and be ourselves, without changing a thing. So I present to you pictures of older butch and gnc women!

me explaining my gender to a cishet person: "I don't really mind what you call me or what gender I am just decide whatever you think fits"
me explaining my gender to a queer person: "I am a man who's a woman and a woman who's a man and a nonbinary person who's a woman and a nonbinary person who's a man and a man who's a nonbinary person and a woman who's a nonbirary person. I am also not nonbinary or a man or a woman but I'm also a man a woman and nonbinary"
