⤷ Hiccup

''I love you,, through gently touches.

He give you little pecks on your nose, cheeks and lips every morning. In stressful situations he hold your pinkie. He brushes your hair of your face so he can see your eyes better. He will stroke his fingers through your hair, cup your cheeks into his hands and kiss you. He always have his hand on your thigh when he is doing his chief stuff in front off everybody. At night he stroke your arm up and down, so you can fall asleep peacefully.

⤷ Astrid

''I love you,, by shared view.

Astrid isn't the one who will say 'I love you' all the time but when you showed up she got the look where you know she is saying 'I love you'. And she give you that look most of the time. Her all features soften when she sees you. She is always looking for you in a crowd of people. Just one glance at you and she knows everything. And just one glance is enough to tell you how much she loves you.

⤷ Ruffnut

Loud ''I love you,,

Ruffnut is a loud lover and she is not afraid to show you off. But she is also very passionate about things she love. And you are her favourite person in the world so when she can say you 'I love you' she do it without hesitation. 'I love you' right after when you wake up, 'I love you' before you fall asleep, 'I love you' when you goes somewhere and just random 'I love you' when she saw you through the day.

⤷ Tuffnut

'I love you' which naturally roll off his tongue

He loves you very much so he wants you to know it. He is very similar to his twin sister so he says 'I love you' all the time. Like all the time. Sometimes he just zone out while you are saying something to him and when you ask if he listens his answer is 'I love you'.

⤷ Snotlout

'I love you' through compliments.

He always give you compliments and they are often little spicy. Like he always tells you how hot you look or how good your ass/thighs/tits look. Doesn't matter which on he compliments, at the end of the day he already compliment your whole body. But he compliment you personality as well. He loves you for you, not for your body.

⤷ Fishlegs

'I love you' through notes and letters.

He is little awkward around you so he sometimes finds himself stutter. But he is a nerd and he is also very creative. He leaves you little notes around the house or at places where you can find them. He always put a little smiley face. Sometimes when he have so much to say he just write you a letter. There can be anything from dragons to how much he loves you.

⤷ Grimmel

'I love you' through listening to you.

He makes sure when you have anything to say to him, his all attention is on you. He doesn't want you to feel upset or sad because he knows how much his opinion means for you. When you have something to say and he is doing something, he told you to wait a second and after that his full attention is on you. He makes sure that you are alone with him when you want to talk to him.

Redesign of the character Alice from my old "The Rise of Darkas" AU story

"The Rise of Darkas" is one of the oldest and one of the craziest ideas of mine in the HTTYD fandom:D

My thoughts about this began more than 5 years ago. This is basically the idea for which I came up with the whole hulf-human Dragons thing!

The first versions of the plot were absolutely illogical and not thought out... But nowadays I continue to rewrite and add to this story, just for myself so far.. And this Deathgripper girl is quite important to the plot as in the old version of the story, as in the new ones, so, I wanted to work on her design a little better))

(However this is one of the few old designs of mine that I still like so there aren't that many differences))

Old design~

Alice is actually quite a tragic character..

In the past, she was one of Grimmel's top Deathgrippers. He raised and trained her from birth and Alice saw him as her master and practically a father, adored him with all her heart and never considered the possibility that he might be wrong, so of all his dragons she was one of the most loyal and obedient.

But one single day plunged Alice into complete shock when an event occurred that forces her only beloved human, master and "parent" to commit suicide, killing himself with her poison, just in front of her eyes..

(actions of this version of the story take place 2 years before HTTYD3, plot of which will never happen)

A LOT happened in her life later...

She saw herself in a half-human form for the first time.

She found herself a new master.

For the first time started thinking about her life.

Experienced real “parental love”, which, as she previously thought, Grimmel and her new master showed her.

And all this made her understand that perhaps both he and Grimmel weren’t as good and right as she thought..

This developed into terrible psychological trauma and a HUGE feeling of guilt for how much she did on their orders, being sure that they were right.

The end of her story isn't quite written yet...

But spoiler: thanks to her own efforts and the various interactions of the creatures around, her ending will be relatively happy, even if it may not possible to be completely like that :,)

Trigger Warning: Toxic Relationship, Manipulation, Possessive

Grimmel is a one-track mind. Oh he's clever, manipulative, incredibly competent at what he does - but his goals are set in stone. Eliminate all dragons. Destroy the threat of dragonkind against humans. And now- s/o.

He is not an easy man to get the attention of. One has to be incredibly competent in what they do to get a smidge of attention. Stoick has respect even in death after he spent his entire life fighting dragons and keeping them off Berk for about 20-odd years. Should a person get his 'respect' though, there's no guarantee he won't drop them once their utility has expired. He's done it before and will do so again.

S/o then is an anomaly. Grimmel doesn't come across anomalies often. And that interests him greatly.

Any hunter has to know their prey in order to hunt properly. S/o may not even notice the sudden shift it's so slow. Grimmel's passing inquiries become long conversations, a moment of acknowledgement warp into respect for the hunter and a feeling of knowing him better than most. It's a slow hunt, but it's one Grimmel adores best.

Manipulation is a subtle art. Too much of one thing will tip somebody off. Praise for competence here, recognition there, a deep conversation in the late nights on occasion. These are nice things. Few people would notice when the praise turns possessive.

"My dear, you grow stronger by the day."

"What luck to have your expertise on my side."

"The warlords wish they had someone of your caliber on their side. Pity for them; they wouldn't recognize you as you are, not like I do."

There's always a 'my' in there somewhere. His competent ally is recognized as his; anyone who overheard all that knows S/o is not be trifled with. S/o slowly finds themselves being Grimmel's right hand. He keeps them nearby, asking for their opinion, using them as an idea bounce board if you will. And if that little thought of 'what would boss do if they left' appears, then S/o is quick to crush it. Grimmel values them, sees them as a person. How could they ever think of betraying his trust, after all the kind things he's done for them?

Wherever Grimmel goes, S/o goes. Their name is respected in the circles that know of the masterful Dragon Hunter. When people strike at S/o, the giant scorpion-dragon that never leaves their side is nicer than what Grimmel would do. If business leaves the Right Hand on their lonesome completing their own duties, they find a loyal dragon at their side, one that plays nice (as per orders of the Master).

The dragon does not leave until the Right Hand and Grimmel are side-by-side again.

What a shame it would be otherwise to leave a hole for an enemy to steal away (assist) his S/o, no?

I had a weird idea. When Hiccup tells Stoick he'd hit a Night Fury, Stoick doesn't believe him. And Hiccup says it wasn't like the last "five times". So we already see a lil bit of fixation right there.

Then, in the 3rd movie, there is this quote. "Your father knew of me" said by Grimmel.

Imagine that. One peaceful day, after Hiccup freed Toothless, he comes home and kinda freaks out because huh??? There are two very rabid-looking dragons just sitting nearby and nobody gives a shit??? And then he comes in to find his father conversing with a man he's never seen in his life.

Hiccup is made acutely aware of his sudden change in apprenticeship, since he's so obsessed with taking down a Night Fury. "Son, this is Grimmel. A professional hunter of the Night Furies. And from now on, you will be under his tutelage. Come and introduce yourself."

And Hiccup pales and with dread all over his face is like "Oh no.."

Duuuuuuuuuuude

Dude, that would make the most angst-filled, fucked up fanfic. Imagine the conversations that would happen between Hiccup and Grimmel, especially when Grimmel starts catching onto the fact that Hiccup is hiding a Night Fury.

Oh. Oh my goodness. This would be so good. Holy shit.

⤷ Hiccup

Common shower/bath; this is one of the most intimacy you could have. Hiccup loves every inch of you and your body. Hiccup come often really tired from Great Hall and he is in stress because of his chief responsibilities. So everything he want at the end of the week is you. He doesn't care what you two will do, he just wants to be with you. But you are tired as well so shower/bath is the best option. Hot trickles of water running down your aching bodies and he have you in a tight hug. Like this he is in paradise.

⤷ Astrid

Endlessly trusting each other; Astrid have trust issues like big trust issues. And I don't think that you trust everyone immediately. But what Astrid knew in this world is that she can trust you. She trust you with her life, with Stormfly, with everything she have. She knows she can come to you even with the smallest thing. She hope you trust her just as much as she trust you. She is vulnerable around you, but she knows that nothing will happen to her, because when she with you she is the happiest girl in the world.

⤷ Ruffnut

Sharing memories; She have some memories that she doesn't like talking about. These memories are embarrassing or sensitive. Some of them even Tuffnut doesn't know about. She loves be with in in a bed and just talk about everything that comes on her mind. Sometimes she got lost about what she was talking about and tell you something she doesn't want to. She get always little flustered because she doesn't want you to look at her any different. When you told her you like her no matter what embarrassing things she ever done, she was so happy.

⤷ Tuffnut

Having a humor only you two understand; this might sound stupid but let me explain. I think Tuffnut have his own humor that no one understand and he might be a little insecure about it. You know, he tell a joke but everyone are quiet and have a neutral face, maybe Ruffnut give some cocky comment about Tuffnut. But when you actually laugh at one of his jokes, his all face bright up and he showed up the biggest smile. So now he comes to you and tell you every joke he knows and he never fail with making you smile. He loves your smile.

⤷ Snotlout

Little touches; Snotlout have anxiety because of his father. And sometimes it get to the point he have anxiety attack so he needed to find a way how to calm down if one of the anxiety attack comes in front of people. When you saw that he is getting anxious you touched his leg with your pinkie and softly stroke up and down. At first he looked confused but after a few minutes he realized that he is calm now and that you helped him. Now he is always holding your pinkie or is close to you when he feels anxious.

⤷ Fishlegs

Encourage each other; Fishlegs is very excited when is a talk about dragons and he knows so much about them. He can talk whole day and night about dragons. He gets also really creative like making cards with them etc... So when you listen to him or say something interesting about them he was the happiest. He loves learning new things about dragons so you became his study buddy. When you encourage him to continue learning new things he was over the moon.

⤷ Grimmel

Protecting each other; I don't think that Grimmel have someone who truly care about him nor protecting him. When he finds that you care about him, he was really surprised. He never thought someone would care for him. So now his job is protect you with his life and your job is protect him. Fighting by his side and always have each other's back. He often thinking about how lucky he is to have you. Does he deserve someone like you? That was the question he asked himself pretty often. Spoiler alert: he does deserve you.

Multifandom Villains

Is it bad if I like the villains, empathize with them (I understand them, not justify them) and want them to have a happy ending? (not by defeating the hero, but by redeeming themselves and NOT dying)

I just think some of them could have been good if the people just gave them a second chance, or at least a chance (because some of them didn't even have one) to prove that they weren't monsters, instead of just assuming they were pure evil and irredeemable from the beginning.

And if some of them were "evil from the beginning", people could have helped them instead of thinking that they couldn't be saved.

so i hate thw but... grimmel would have been so much fun in defenders of berk.

imagine what his relationship with dagur would have been like. two nutcases obsessed with taking down that fucking night fury. one is an impulsive teenager and the other is a calculative old man. they'd absolutely detest each other but they'd try to work together anyway which would be peak comedy. hiccup has to deal with both of them AND alvin AND all the other shit that was going on back then with the Screaming Death and the Skrill and whatnot. like. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO COOL??? like tone down the whole "i have killed every night fury" bullshit and remove the light fury from the equation and that sounds like a solid show. you could even somehow squeeze in a grimmel redemption arc if you were deranged enough. imagine how rtte would have turned out. imagine how httyd 2 could be rewritten in that scenario. LIKE-

I have a silly idea for in between Httyd2 and Httyd3.

Okay, so, it’s gonna he called “Return to the edge.” Because well, Race to the edge- you get my point.

The gang, including Eret and Valka, go to the edge. Maybe to restore it as a new base when on trips? Both V and E get huts, everything is overgrown.

And maybe a new villain of some sorts? Maybe traces of Grimmel?? Who knows.

We get more detail into the characters, backstorys, ect. (Mostly Eret and Valka, both having an episode based on them.)

Hiccup grieving his father, but everyone reassures him. Fishlegs finally gets to manage Ruffnut on a date so they start dating.

Snotlout given up on Ruffnut, but, once saved by Valka in some sort of way, he gets a new liking. (Platonically, like a “omg, you’re so cool” way.)

Tuffnut still has Chicken you motherfuckers.

Eret chats with Snotlout about his “obsessive” ways to Valka. He denies it and calls him jealous.

We get shown how their armor was made!!
