this is so stupid but I have a complicated relationship with my hair because it was curly since forever and in India no one knows what that means and they'd just call it frizzy and the hairdressers would try to bully me into chemical straightening and leave me in tears and I finally learnt to take care of it in college and now I can just wash my hair in 20ish minutes and have the curls look great and I love it I love the entire process I love how light it feels I love how feathery and soft my curls get when they dry I even love the frizz because it gives me volume anyway as I was washing my hair I thought about bisan who probably went through the same journey who saved up money to buy foreign curly hair products who probably had grown to love her hair over years&years and how she had to cut it all off and all the people in Palestine who had to cut theirs off because there isn't water enough to drink let alone shampoo out the caked in blood and dust and the little girl who recognised her mother's body by her hair and and 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Irish basketball players were basically forced to play Israel the other day because if they didn't the FIBA ((Basketball association basically)) would've gotten around a 6 figure fine and possible court case for discrimination of something or other ((feel free to fact check that)). 5 players backed out from it as a boycott but the rest of the players went on to travel to Latvia to play the team. One of the Israeli players commented (roughly) that the Irish were antisemitic because they didn't want to play Israel/there was talk of boycotting.

Oh, and let's not forget that the Israeli team was photographed with an IDF 'machine gun' ((not good with guns and am not willing to get it wrong, again, fact check all you want)), another picture being the team posing with a "Stand with Israel" banner.

A good thing is that the Irish team did all they could of not showing their support for Israel by refusing to handshake before(?) the game.
