I read the new chapter of Holy Suffering as soon as it came out and I love the way u write Lucifer. For the past few days I have been reading Radio apple fanfic and I hate how lucifer is portrayed in most of them, shy , innocent with Alastor after the fight, and kinda out of character for the both of them, cause they suddenly like each other, and I don’t see it in them. They like to piss each other off, that’s the whole ship point.

Ur Lucifer is so sassy, Hits all the Good Characterization checks in my brain, he’s such a delight to read, same for Alastor. U had me going speechless most of the time Alastor spoke, cause I honestly didn’t know what he was gonna say next. Writing Alastor it’s probably hard, cause he is misterious and always hides his emotions but You totally nailed it. Right now he is probably angry at Lucifer cause he ratted him out lol

Al be like the audacity of this man after he forced him to do this.🙄

Anywhizzle I just wanted to ask, for the overload meeting, is Charlie gonna send Lucifer with Alastor? Maybe as a snake or something, to make sure is he okay. Cause she really sounded mortified that she didn’t notice that Alastor was suffering and man Al definitely didn’t like that, but it’s not like he can say no to Charlie so

A nd is there like a schedule for next updates? I am really invested in this story and I honestly can’t wait to read more of it.

Thank you ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Hahah Lucifer's got bite to him, for sure. He doesn't come off as the shy type to me. Awkward as hell, certainly. In the throes of depression, absolutely. And he cares about Charlie's opinion of him to a fault. But when it comes to someone throwing their weight around--or, more accurately, getting involved with Charlie (cough Alastor helping Charlie with the hotel, couch Adam fighting/hurting Charlie cough) he isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty.

Alastor is hard to write ಥ_ಥ I love him so much, but sometimes, I want to cut open his head and properly study his brain because f;knslnjsbj out of all the characters, he's the hardest for me to pin down, in terms of both dialogue and actions. He has such a way of talking, and such a distinct voice (his radio filter) that it's simultaneously easy to imagine his voice, but hard to put it to dialogue. So, I really appreciate hearing that I nailed it (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) Seriously, it's so appreciated to hear.

Nah, Alastor is going to be going to that one alone :3 It's going to be set in his POV, so we'll get some insight in his thoughts on the whole thing, and how he's handling his current affliction. I'm both excited to and nervous to get into it, because writing him in someone else's POV is hard, so writing him in his OWN POV is a little intimidating, but I'm mostly excited. I have a lot of thoughts for this series, and it's gonna be fun to explore them.

As for a schedule, I used to try to keep myself to one, and I've found that I have both a love/hate relationship with it. One the one hand, keeping a writing schedule is nice because it gives me a clear view of what I want to work on and an goal date to get it done, which is very nice for my ADHD brain.

BUT, on the other hand, when I start putting that pressure on myself to get it down, and I fail to actually reach that goal, it hits me pretty hard and it can take away my motivation and joy in writing the fic. It starts to feel more like a chore than a fun hobby I can do in my downtime.

Thankfully, I am DEEP in Hazbin Hotel hyperfixation, and the amazing feedback I've gotten from my fic's is certainly fueling my motivation. So thanks to everyone leaving kudos and comments! It's seriously so helpful and I cherish ever single one of them.

If I had to give an estimate for when the next installment of the series will drop, I'd say either at the end of this week, or the beginning/middle of next week. I have an unrelated AppleRadio one-shot I want to bust out before I work on the next installment, and that one I'm going to try and post by Thursday or Friday.

Hi, I've seen your blog and it appears to me that you've watched a lot of gdh movies. So I was wondering this: what is your top 5 gdh movie? I, for my part, have only watched two so far: oh my girl ! and you, me and me which is one of my favorite movie this year so far.

it brings me to tears (happily) whenever someone talks to me about GDH films ಥ_ಥ so here are my favorite GDH films (in this order as of this moment, no. 2 to no. 5 interchange from time to time depending on my mood)

1. Bad Genius (2017) and Bad Genius: The Series (2020)

So whenever I'm asked about GDH, the first film I instantly recommend would be Bad Genius. Because not only is Bad Genius imho THE film that puts GDH on the map, I think it has a lot of influence on Thai cinematic works, and to some extent television works.

Essentially, Bad Genius is a story about Lin, a straight A student who team up with her friends to pull off a large scale cheating scheme on an SAT-like exam. It's a heist thriller drama that definitely leaves me feeling stressed out as hell as if I was there in the testing room with those students.

I know it's kind of a cheat to also add this, but whenever I recommend Bad Genius, I also must recommend Bad Genius: The Series which is a 12 episode series that serves as a more detailed+sequel version of the film. I love this series because the young actors of the series gave me a fresh take on the characters I already know and loved so I had a great time falling in love with all of them again. The series fixed a few plotholes/qualms I had with the cinematic version as well as an extensive background story on Bank (played by Nonkul Chanon in film, Jaonaay Jinjett in series), my favorite character from this franchise so Bad Genius: The Series is the one work I cannot recommend enough.

One of the things I love about the series as well is that it also maintained the exact same vibes and cinematography like color-grading, camerawork...

2. OMG! Oh My Girl (2022)

I am a sucker for 'seemingly unrequited love' and 'right person, wrong time' tropes so this film really hit ALL the spots for me at its release.

Stylisticaly speaking, I absolutely love the Wes Anderson-esque zoom-in-from-afar shots for comedic effect. many stellar comedic moments where i laughed out loud. I think the humor in this film is poignant, accompanied by great comedic timing from both leads.

One of the highlights of Oh My Girl aside from the many subversions to romcom clichés, I like how Guy (the ML played by the incredible Sky Wongravee) was a morally grey protagonist and that the film isn't afraid to call out his problematic "nice guy" facade. He's a self-aware jerk and I genuinely love his self-awareness.

3. One For The Road (2021)

So I didn't watch this at release and it took quite a while before I gathered the determination to sit down and watch this on Netflix on a late rainy evening. Little did I know, I would soon be crying screaming bawling my eyes.

One For The Road is about Aood (Ice Natara) who enlists his estranged friend, Boss (Tor Thanapob) on a road trip to return items to his exes before he dies.

If I had a nickel for every time GDH wanted to give me a selfish, jerky male protagonist, I would have like four or five nickels but it's crazy that it's happened so many times (formulaically one would say) and here I am still empathizing and crying over these kinda jerky male protagonists.

The soundtrack was just brilliant. To quote a review I once wrote, the director, the music score and composer were truly out for blood with the soundtrack for this movie and they did it. This film is a good example of how important soundtrack and film scores are to elevate the narrative being told.

There are so many things to praise about the production but if I had to choose one thing, it would be the excellent mise-en-scene of this film. Every shot is dazzling, intentional and fill with metaphors. It was truly beautiful.

4. Not Friends (2023)

So I went into this thinking it would be Thai take on Dear Evan Hansen but I was so glad that it wasn't the case even though there are similarities.

Not Friends continues to deliver GDH's classic "selfish jerky male protagonist" with Pae (Anthony Buisseret) who just transferred to a new school in his last year of high school. Seeing no chances in getting into university through the entrance exam, Pae decides to enter a film contest by making a film about Joe (Jump Pisitpol), his seat mate who recently passed away.

The film had me bawling my eyes out in theatres by the end. I love that there were a lot philosophical questions like how much we value a friend's worth in the film. If you like Baipor/Anthony tandem in You & Me & Me, Not Friends is a must-watch for this acting duo reunion.

5. The Con-Heartist (2020)

So for the last spot, I debated a lot between two romantic comedies (both starring Baifern Pimchanok), The Con-Heartist (2020) and Friend Zone (2019). I recently rewatched the former and was reminded by how much I love the zany humor in this film so she gets the last spot.

The Con-Heartist is about Noina (Baifern Pimchanok), who is in debt because of her ex-boyfriend so she hires a con artist, Tower (Nadech Kugimiya) to help her get revenge against her ex-boyfriend by swindling him.

Even though it's billed as a romantic comedy, I think it's more comedy-leaning compared to Friend Zone but I love the comedic moments the two leads, Baifern and Nadech. พี่ไม่หล่อลวง by BamBam is the OST song for the film and it has never left my Spotify Wrapped for the last 3 years 😭

+bonus: How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (2024)

This is the first GDH film from 2024 and although it comes out in like two weeks, I can feel it's going to dethrone one of the films in my top 5 list for sure. If you're thinking of going to watch something at the cinema soon, I hope you consider checking out Lahn Mah this April!

I hope you give one of these GDH films a chance. I love watching GDH films because although they can have different directors/team of scriptwriters, they always end up with certain similarities (be it cinematography or screenplay or characters). While not all GDH films are incredible masterpieces but out of the Thai production houses for films, I would say GDH 559 (and its predecessor GTH) has the most solid record of having strong and compelling cinematic works.

A/N: Yep finally reaching two decades of my life. Crying and throwing up rn now that I’m 20????😟. So here’s a little birthday fic that I’ve written. 🥳🤍🤍You’re all housemates in this AU and the boys can’t bake to save their lives.

Summary: It’s your first birthday as housemates and the boys went the extra mile to make your day special.

The local supermarket was always busy. It was the only supermarket that was the closest and since there were no other ones nearby, the people near your area had to rely on one for groceries and baked goods. Luckily for Benny and Santi, they both went just an hour before closing time, and thank fuck there was significantly less people, making it easier to get to the items that they needed for your birthday surprise the next day.

Benny placed the last pack of candles from the shelf into the shopping basket alongside a roll of wrapping paper. “I think that’s everything.” Benny sighed, exhausted from rushing and going out at the last minute. “We still need to get her a cake,” Santi reminded. The bakery section was at the back of the store with the fresh fruits and vegetables. You would always go there with one of them to pick up your favourite pecan plaits.

Unfortunately their luck didn’t last long when they noticed that most of the cake display was almost empty. All the best cakes were taken. Figured. “I knew we should’ve come earlier. Shit!” Santi seethed with annoyance.

“So what are we going to do now?” Benny asked, arms folded as they tried to think of a solution.

Earlier the next morning, just after sunrise, the four men were up in the kitchen preparing for your day, while you were still in your room, sound asleep. It wasn’t unusual for them to be up this early, retired from the military, old habits die hard.

“So did you get the cake?” Will asked while filling air into a balloon.

“Yeah… about that.” The room fell silent as Frankie and Will heard what the other two men had to say.

How could they possibly mess something like this up?

“By the time we actually went to the bakery section, they barely had anything good in stock. We only managed to get this.” Benny pulled out a fruit cake out of the plastic bag from yesterday and placed it on the table.

“You got her fruit cake?” Frankie said as he ran his hand over his locks “On her birthday? Pendejo! We can’t give her that. She doesn’t deserve a halfass cake.”

You did deserve better. You were the glue and the peace maker of the household, making sure any heated argument was settled. And after all that, somehow you still managed to tolerate living with them all at the same time. “Fish is right...” Will pipped in “she does deserve better, which is why we're not gonna just buy some cake from the grocery’s bakery” The other three men’s gaze were in Will now, confusion written in their faces.

“I remember her telling me one of her favourite cakes she hasn’t had since her childhood.” he started “If I could find a recipe online, Benny and Santi could quickly pick up the ingredients from the grocery store.”

Will pulled out his phone and went to search up the recipe of the cake that you loved.

“You’re not fucking suggesting that we actually bake a cake, are you?” Benny scoffed at the idea. Neither of them knew how to bake and they knew it.

“Come one hermano, how hard can it be.” Frankie gripped onto Benny’s shoulder as he spoke.

“Yeah, lighten up” Santi’s voice came from behind “if we follow the recipe, how hard can it be.” If they wanted it to go well, they had to be quick. You weren’t going to be asleep forever.

Meanwhile, the morning sunlight bled in your room through the gaps of the blinds. You were still knocked out in bed, sleeping in a little later than usual, and completely oblivious to the predicament downstairs.

You spent the night before with your mother who visited before she left town again. It felt good spending time with her before your birthday, even if it was for a short while.

Eventually, slumber slowly slipped away leaving you to rub your eyes as you allowed yourself to wake up and stretched your arms. You quickly freshened up in the bathroom but noticed the house was quiet. Too quiet. You would at least hear some shuffling or cutleries being arranged, preparing for breakfast. It felt like you were the only one in the house right now.

You made your way downstairs into the kitchen, barefoot on the cold tile floor. You had to hold back a giggle when you saw a few balloons on the floor and your four housemates crowding the dining table.

“Good morning boys-”

“Oh shit!” You heard Benny exclaim before they all turned to you.

You noticed the cake on the table with a thin piping bag in Frankie's hand and your heart swelled at the sight. You stepped a little closer to get a better look and the feeling increased by tenfold when you realised the type of cake it was. “Oh my God… is that-”

“Yeah, that cake you told me about, I found a recipe online and we tried to replicate it. Sorry about the mess.” Will said as he stepped closer to your side. Your name was written in white icing with Frankie’s chicken scratch handwriting, which topped it off beautifully. “It’s beautiful, I can’t believe you’ve really gone out of your way for this, thank you!” You beamed at them.

“And you wanted to give a fruit cake, huh?” Frankie piped up.

“Listen it wasn’t-“

“Please!” you interrupted Ben, holding your hands up to emphasise your stress. “It’s my birthday, no arguing. Not today.”

“Of course, hermosa.”

Can we agree that when the Diaboys call Yui "ugly" they simply do so because they are jerks and want to denigrate her and make her feel bad, but in reality none of them really find her "ugly"?

There are several pieces of evidence that they all find her attractive/pretty:

Ruki has told her that she has beautiful skin.

Kanato and Laito really like her hair.

There is quite a bit of evidence that Subaru and Shin already liked Yui physically from the beginning of their routes, (they are both quite tsunderes with her).

Shu, Ayato, Laito and Subaru have admitted that Yui has nice legs and Reiji complimented her for having a nice butt.

Kou, Yuma, Azusa, Carla and Shin have told Yui that she is really pretty. Even Carla and Shin were dumbfounded when they saw Yui wearing a dress on the "Date With Tsukinami" scenario.

And not only that, in other scenarios there are random characters who have fallen in love with Yui at first sight, such as in one of Yuma's Heaven in More, Blood she and Yuma are in the park eating ice cream and Yuma mentions that at least four guys keep staring at Yui and this makes him very jealous.

In Shu's second After Story, Yui starts working at a flower shop and the owner falls madly in love with her, (and even asked her to be his girlfriend).

And in Lost Eden the leader of the Vibora Clan, Zweig, also seemed very interested in Yui.

Lastly, it's true that there are more attractive heroines than Yui but to say that she is "ugly" is something I just can't accept, the girl literally looks like an angel, she is beautiful inside and out. ಥ_ಥ ❤️

I know they might have seen her in a different way once they fell for her but it still leaves a very sore taste in the mouth knowing that she got to hear things such as “What a plain looking woman”, “Nobody would dance with a woman as ugly as yourself”, “Look at you,what an ugly face” etc. I know you’re sadistic and damaged but the fact that some chapters later you’re like”You’re cute”,”My pretty girlfriend”,it just sounds so unfair!

I like all Diaboys but I can’t ship someone 100% with Yui after making fun of her FACE and then suddenly changing their mind :// All of them have been through traumatic events yet how come only some of them have never called her ugly?

I do think her body looks really good but it‘s still sad how none of the Diaboys have ever said anything nice about her face.They’re all complimenting her legs,butt,back,hips etc. but none of them genuinely looked into her eyes and was like “You’re beautiful”. On the other hand,Yui always compliments their faces and she’s not saying it in a smooth-talking way,she simply feels like saying it.

It still bothers me when ,once she puts on a dress they’re all like super shocked and act as if she looks extremely different ”Wow!My woman is so pretty!”That sounds so backhanded because she looks exactly the same,a dress can’t change a person that much and she doesn’t need anything like that in order to get some compliments from time to time too.

And speaking of jealousy,at this point I believe all of them are so possessive that they imagine guys staring at her since Yui’s always like”But where?I didn’t feel stared at!”She might be…not so bright but she’s not blind.

Also that flower shop guy did fall for her but let’s admit it,he was a creep.If I recall correctly Yui didn’t want to go somewhere with him and he literally asked her “Do you hate me?”Like????She didn’t even say something like that.The only guy who was worth of going on a date with Yui was the one from Yuma’s MB route because he actually wanted to save her.

Another frustrating scene was in Kou’s LE route(I think)when Kino said that every man in the Demon World wants to marry his girlfriend aka Yui but the thing is…they don’t want to marry her because of her looks or personality,they don’t even know her,they only want her because she’s Eve and that means power.Another reason why the only good thing that happened in LE was simply introducing Kino and that’s all.Poor girl,as if being used for her blood wasn’t enough,now she’s being used for power too.

Her design is not meant to be gorgeous,even the DL Director said that they were trying to avoid making her the type of girl who’d attract with her charming looks.That’s why they tried to make her a sweet girl instead of a very cute or adorable one.As I said,her personality is supposed to be what attracts,not her looks.

I consider her good-looking tho.Her design might not be something“wow”but that doesn’t mean she can’t be pretty.Yui’s a simple girl yet attractive in her own way.She still deserves so much better than she got,it’s not her fault she doesn’t look like some sort of idol or royalty.

Servamp Pairs and the Significance of their Birthdays

Because Strike can never just let anything BE.

Right off the bat, gonna get this out of the way: I will, unfortunately, not be including Pride and Gluttony pairs here, and for one simple reason. We don't know enough about EITHER of them or their character motifs for me to make any solid, grounded in fact and narrative connections. Which is Funny, considering Pride pair have been hanging around since Volume 3 as recurring characters and Ildio was introduced in Volume 1. But, their character arcs haven't actually, like... Happened yet? So I can't speak for them (even if I do think I have a possible connection between the birthdays of Tetsu and Hugh) and I am very sorry about that ಥ_ಥ

Now then. Each Servamp pair have birthdays that match. I don't mean in a simplistic, number and month being similar sort of way, either! Like, on a symbolic, deeper, character relevant level, the pairs. Match. And it's super cool.

Sloth Pair: Kuro and Mahiru are a case where neither month nor number seem relevant to each other, however, the emotions behind the dates make them inextricably connected! Kuro's birthday is December 31st, New Year's Eve, and Mahiru's July 7th, the date of Tanabata matsuri, aka, the festival of wishes, which means... Kuro and Mahiru's birthdays both fall on dates associated with wishes and hope for a better tomorrow!

Envy Pair: Jeje and Mikuni are October 2nd and 1st, respectively. This makes them both Libra on the Western Zodiac, the Scales of Justice. They are judge and executioner, one following after the other, and those who sin are caught between them both.

Wrath Pair: My favorite symbolic birthday set, Iduna's birthday, May 30th, is also the date which Jeanne D'arc was executed via being burned for heresy, and the popular interpretation of this is to consider this equivalent with her being a witch (personally given reincarnation theory I think this has some interesting implications, especially with Gil and Ray's names/birthdays being tied to Gilles De Rais, Jeanne's companion in arms and leader of the French army), while Freya's birthday, August 1st, falls on Lughnasadh, a pagan holiday celebrating the beginning of the harvest season. And, well, we all know what the Church did to Pagans, now don't we?

Greed Pair: Another interesting set, Licht's birthday falls on December 24th, Christmas Eve and the birth of Christ, while Lawless's birthday is June 24th, which is... The feast day of St. John the Baptist, who is traditionally depicted with his birthday happening six months before Christ's and was beheaded at the request of Salome after the Saint has spurned her affections. Salome's story was transformed into a play by Oscar Wilde in 1891.

Lust Pair: The most straightforward of the seven, as far as I can tell with the story being where it is now! Misono's birthday, February 14th, is Valentine's, and Lily is a month later on White Day. Both of them fall on holidays centering around loving and being in love, and repaying that love that you are given. The image of Lily coming to love the color white (one of his favorites!) because of a day he had previously reviled is just... So cute!! ...But also how it represents their relationship is wonderful. Lily gives Misono his love, care, and affection, and Misono gives him back three times as much.

yaku rolled his eyes at your response, quite enraged by your dismissive tendencies but he didn’t want to take his anger out on you so he simply turned to the kiiroitori plush that sat beside him, “duck, do you think (l/n) has been overworking themselves and ignoring both of us?”

kiirotori was forced by yaku’s hand to nod in response.

you snorted slightly before trying to furrow your eyebrows in anger once again, “their name is kiiroitori!”

♡ he’s like ‘oh, you’re spending hours upon hours of a day - losing sleep and energy - to dedicate yourself solely to one thing so you can be perfect at it??? that’s completely normal!’

you nodded, shuffling closer to him so he could drape his arm around your shoulder and bury his nose into your hair. “it’s so hard to just sit here and do nothing when i know that i have a lot to do, y’know?”

oikawa hummed in agreement, “but it’s nice to finally spend some quality time with you, angel.” he placed a kiss on your temple, scooting awkwardly in his seat before pulling you down to lay down next to him on couch.

“yeah,” you purred, happily falling onto the soft cushions while in oikawa’s embrace, “i’ve suddenly had a change of heart - i love these lazy days.”

he hurriedly approached you, suddenly throwing his arms around your shoulders as he hid his face in the crook of your neck before wailing, “(y/n)! i know it’s none of my business but i just think you work yourself way too hard and i see how sleepy you are all the time and you didn’t even eat the cupcakes i made you because you were too busy studying - i thought you loved my cupcakes!”

your eyes widened at the sudden contact and the string of words yamaguchi was babbling in your ear; but you semi-understood what he was getting at. so you steadily turned around to wrap your arms around his neck and rub his spine reassuringly, “i am so sorry, tadashi. i had no idea i was worrying you.”

he shook his head against the skin of your neck, “it’s fine, i worry about everything.” he joked before changing to a more serious tone, “it’s just that-- i think you should care more about yourself. take some time to relax once and a while, y’know?”

his sweet words resulted in your lips curling to a smile while his arms wrapped securely around your body brought you a much-needed feeling of peace, “alright, i’ll try.”

“good.” yamaguchi chirped, pecking your forehead then positioning his face where it was prior, going back to enjoying the feeling of your soft skin agaist his. “-so, are you gonna eat the cupcakes or”

keiji akaashi

♡ he overworks himself too

♡ if anything, i think he’d praise you for being ‘hard-working’ at first ‘:)

♡ but once he notices how much you work and how negatively it’s effecting your mental/physical health, he’ll intervene

♡ like yamaguchi, i think he’d start small by subtly doing things to reverse the effects of your stress

♡ and simultaneously, it kinda helps him too

♡ for example, if you get stress ance, he’ll do a bunch of research on the best skin treatments for it, buy the products then do facemasks with you + create a whole new nightly skincare routine for both of you

♡ or if your not taking care of yourself properly, he’ll book you both in for a spa appointment

♡ or if you’re tense, he’ll get you both massages from those professional ppl that make you strip naked

♡ when they make you get your tiddies out, you know they are a professional masseuse

♡ and he’ll take out on ten times more just to help you relax

♡ also, they’re always slow-paced dates bc like ofc akaashi takes you out to the park/beach for picnics....does he seem the sort of guy to take you bowling?? no.

you sighed as akaashi brought a spoon up to your lips, looking at you expectantly but you simply whined, “keiji, i should be at home studying right now. you know my exam in 5 months, right?” though akaashi wanted to believe you were joking, the seriousness in your voice made it clear that you genuinely thought 5 months was a short period of time - even considering all the work you’ve already done in preparation for it.

so akaashi simply shrugged in response, continuing to prod your lip with the spoon until you parted you lips, allowing the pudding he made to enter your mouth. then, he pulled it out lower it to observe your pouty expression for a moment; you were so cute that he couldn’t help but smile softly.

“i’m sure you’ll do fine, sweetheart. i believe in you.” he said, gripping your waist before placing a tender kiss on your cheek. “for now, let’s enjoy this perfect weather. it only comes around once a year, so why not make the most of it, hm?”

before you were able to reply, akasshi utilized the hand the had on your waist to pull you back onto the picnic blanket with him, so you were both looking up at the pale blue sky, decorated with delicate clouds. “what do you see?” he inquired, gesturing up to the shapes the clouds formed.

you snickered, slowly intertwining your finger with his as you examined the sky for any familiar shapes or silhouettes in the sky. “oh!” you exclaimed, lifting your index finger to point to a particular cloud adorning the sky, “that kinda looks like my maths professor in a gallon hat.”

akaashi snorted, “i have no idea what your maths professor looks like but alright.”

you laughed, lowing your finger but not everting your gaze from the special cloud you spotted, “what about you, babe? what do you see?”

with a moment of hesitation, akaashi immediately replied, “an angel.”

your eyes scanned across the sky for a cloud in the shape on an angel but you simply couldn’t find the one he was referring to, so you whipped your head to the side to see where he was pointing, only notice that his eyes were fixated on you.

“y-you’re such a simp, keiji.”

Everything was going perfectly according to plan- while Hideyoshi was distracted you snuck a few handfuls of candy in the hidden pockets of you kimono

Once you were done with your mission you chimed in “Yeah big bro how do u expect me to be a good girl when you always dragging me along to steal the candy.”

“Oooooh don’t think I forgot about you, young lady.”

He lectured the two of you for three hours

Hideyoshi sent both of you back to your rooms.

Luckily Nobunaga’s’sNobunaga’s’s room was right on top of yours and you were experienced in the art of sneaking out to meet up with friends

So you easily climbed up onto his balcony and snuck into his room

Will be an extremely doting brother

Will 100% teach you how to defend yourself

Feeling sad, Kenshin will legit find the source of your sadness and freaken kill them

Feeling anxious or insecure, Kenshin will be there wrapping you in a big bear hug while drawing soothing circles on your back. He will soothingly comfort you as your cry on his shoulder

Will summon his army of fluff balls to cuddle with you until that smile is back on your face

“Quick lass let’s sneak in before mother dearest scolds us for.”

Too late he was already waiting for the two of you

Masa will cook you anything and everything your heart desires, when you tell him you’re on a diet cause some boy called you fat Masamune’s eyes widens.

He will bring your favourite dish an place it just under your nose, you can’t help but crumble damn that smell too good to waste, “Fine but my diet starts tomorrow”, (っ˘ڡ˘ς) you say with a mouth full of food

Lol tomorrow never came and that asshole of a boy was never seen again

Sometimes it was hard to tell who the teenager was you or Masamune, the two of you would always joke around pulling pranks on all the castle residents

You were actually pretty thankful Masamune didn’t drink, cause it made you feel like you weren’t missing out on anything during banquets

At the end of the banquets it would always be you, Masa and Mitsuhide left awake and playing card games till dawn

Will leave Shogetsu with you during times of war. The big cat literally destroys everything

“No way masa, ask Mitsunari to watch him, last time when I woke up he shredded everything in my room”, he just grinned at you “That’s what adds to his cuteness”. (=^・^=)

You narrowed your eyes at him “What’s in it for me”. (¬_¬)

“I’ll bring you back a months supply worth of candy and I Masamune Date will owe you a favour”.

You beamed up at him, that would definitely come in handy one day “Fine I’ll do it”. (｡◕‿◕｡)

A/c: I dunno if it’s just me but I get Sir Nighteye vibes from this man (Rest in peace (҂⌣̀_⌣́) but this Hc won’t exactly be like MHA if you know what I mean, this Hc will most probs have very little mention of a quirk/volleyball, what’s the worst that can happen *Laughs in evil*

You have been seeing Ren for 1 year and still know nothing about what he does for a living or anything personal about him.

You had been accepted for an internship at Inarizaki Agency and honestly this meant so much for you because you were stuck in such a bad slump.

You told your boyfriend the amazing news about beginning an internship but left out where you were going to work.

He told you he was extremely proud even though his face still held that same scary expression, you knew he meant it.

It’s the first day of your internship and all internees had to meet and introduce themselves to the CEO before they continued.

The internees walked in and all bowed which you followed since you were the youngest.

You introduced yourself then looked up to find your boyfriend of 1 year sitting in the CEO’s seat staring wide eyed at you.

After that awkward encounter he started to see you less outside of work and he made it very clear to you to keep your work and personal life separate and you agreed.

Ren started to become frustrated and it showed at the agency, it also didn’t go unnoticed by your co-workers.

When you first started working for the agency almost everyone told you that even though he may look scary his personality was from it not knowing they were speaking to his girlfriend. Even if his facial expression was scary his personality was soft and hilarious.

So seeing him going around to everyone picking on the small errors they made and screaming at them for it, was a very new look for him to you and your co-workers.

It was 2pm in the evening your friend, Suna and you were in charge of checking to see if the hero costumes were as too what the hero’s had requested for, “Suna you continue to check these costumes, I’ll go bring the assistant Kita for final checks” f/n nodded as a response. After 15 minutes you returned to Suna with the manager but found that your boyfriend/CEO was checking the costumes as well, everything was going smoothly but he stopped towards the last mannequin and spotted a tear below the underarm of the hero costume, “Why is there a tear here?” Ren asked both you and Suna, you confusingly looked at Suna then Ren “Um when we were checking earlier there was no tear” you said to Ren “So what? Did this just magically appear when I arrived?” he said sternly “No that’s no what I mea-” before you could finish Ren continued “Who was in charge of checking this costume?” you stepped towards him bowing “I was Sir and I’m very sorry for my mistak-” “Get Out” he said before you could finish, you looked up “Pardon?” “I said get out” he repeated “You can’t do a simple job properly, all you had to do was check the fucking costume” he let out harshly “Your a disgrace and embarrassment to this company you should be thankful we accepted you, what a fucken lame excuse of an employee” he snapped “I don’t want to see you for the rest of the day, get out of my face” he finished while using one hand to shoo you out. Looking down you quickly wiped your tears “I’m sorry Sir, I’ll take my leave now” you bowed then walked to the entrance and out the agency. “Actually Sir I have something to say” Suna spoke up “What is it?” Ren turned around to look at him “I was the one who tore the costume” Ren’s heart dropped “I wanted to try it on so bad but struggled to get it off and ripped it, I’m very sorry Sir” Suna bowed “While I am calm please leave” Ren said while staring into his eyes “Yes Sir, I’m apologise sincerely” he said before sprinting out the room. “Kita please postpone all of my appointments and meetings for this afternoon” Ren said to his assistant “Is everything alright Sir?” “I have to mend something I had no intention of breaking” Ren said before walking out of the room. It was currently 5pm and you were sitting on a bench legs folded off the ground in front of a pond beating yourself up on how you were still crying or why you were crying in the first place “Y/n stop crying, your so damn sensitive and why?” you whispered to yourself while lightly punching your thigh “Maybe if you were less of a klutz then your boyfriend might give you some attention” you whispered to yourself causing more tears to pour out of your eyes “Is that how you think I see you?” Ren sits down with his back to the pond “Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are” he said while tucking a piece of hair behind your ear, you turned your head away from him afraid of how he’ll see you breakdown at the slight touch of love he gave you “Darling, I want to apologise on how I spoke to you earlier, I promise you I will make it up to you in anyway I can” he said while turning your face towards his “Please, I don’t want anyone to see me like this” you said while hiccupping and sniffling, Ren flicked his hand up and casted a spell that blocked people from the outside seeing inside “I’ve missed you so much my darling and I hate myself for pushing you away” he said while wrapping his arms around your waist still seated on the bench “I was scared you’d leave me after finding out your boyfriend works behind a desk and not fighting like a true hero” he let out a sad laugh “Are you kidding me Ren, you could be jobless for all I care and I’d still love you” you said pouting with cheeks still stained from crying “First of all it’s ‘baby’ to you and that means a lot to me darling” he said while kissing your cheek with one hand behind your ear “Oh so the big, scary boss likes to be called baby?” you giggled as your boyfriends cheeks began to turn pink while still having his scary expression “I like what you said about being big” he whispered in your ear before kissing it then it was your turn to become a blushing mess “Sir this is a McDonalds drive-thru” leaving your boyfriend confused before trying to make a run for it, only to be grabbed by the wrist and teleported to office “What the fuc-” you began “Darling I suggest you watch your language before continuing that sentence” he said while locking his office door and closing the blinds “God is good” you whispered as your boyfriend began to loosen his tie while walking towards you “Let me show you how much I’ve missed you” he said before attaching his touch deprived lips to yours, lips moving together with drool dripping from the passionate kiss you both had engaged in, separating his lips from yours to give you a breather “Oh lord Asahi give my legs strength after this” you say as your boyfriend chuckles at your goofy personality before continuing to engulf your lips with his own.

I honestly wrote this at 3am and if it doesn’t make sense I’m sorry for wasting your time but at least you made it to the end (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Well I finished 判官 (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

This is a wild ride. I like the theme in general, the cage and the puppet are a really cool idea. And the writing, the poignant slow pace with a shit ton of nature metaphor? The mundane daily life sandwiched between badass action and angsty narrative? The revelation of what Xie Wen did for Wen Shi and Wen Shi counters it with what happened to his soul? Hell damn, I screenshot like a maniac and sent them to my friend like "hey see this delicious hell? jump with me!" My favorite moment is definitely the "紅塵 Kiss" because it knocked me off my feet and robbed all my sense and sensibility. Very close behind are "wind and pine tree, the moon lightens for three thousand miles, the sky doesn't grant him the day to come home" (Xie Wen), "when there's no place to go they want to come home" (the disciples) and "don't look back" ༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ

I actually finished 铜钱龛世 also by 木苏里 beforehand so I kind of expected all the characters may somehow link together. I love the relationship between the old man and the boy so much. Since Cage 1 it hooked me into the story and it just keeps getting better as the plot processes. He said they have 缘 and the bluebird metaphor? Chef Kiss!

Not a fan of the antagonist here not just because he's sure a dick but I'm often not into the final boss. The things the main cast went through just... not worth it. It only took one event from the past to go differently and they don't have to end up with all that shit. But I guess it serves the theme of 缘 and Karma, fate just happens and goes out of hand no matter how hard you try.

Oh and the other clans. I usually see corrupted 正派 but they are good guys and what they do at the end to both the Zhang siblings and Xie Wen is really sweet.

And now I get myself into 全球高考 (currently the fourth exam) and man this is another wild ride (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

CONGRATULATIONSSSSSS AAAAHHH I’M SO HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

I’ve never read Mu Su Li’s other works, so this was my first time encountering her treatment of these kinds of themes! Like, human desire can manifest in terrifying ways but when you break through to the heart of it, it’s 1) a cage that traps/hurts/scares both the owner and people around them, and 2) it’s a very comprehensible feeling that nobody is above having.

BUT YEAH ALSO THE WAY SHE MANIFESTED THAT WITH XIE WEN/WEN SHI, “LOOK AT ALL THE TERRIFYING SHIT THESE TWO WOULD DO JUST TO KEEP ONE MORE IOTA OF PAIN FROM FALLING ON THEIR BELOVED.” YEAH I SERIOUSLY JUMPED OFF OF SOMETHING VERY HIGH WHEN WE LEARNED WHAT HAPPENED TO WEN SHI’S SOUL.

i’m all about nature metaphors my friend TTTT Mu Su Li writes them so fucking well, and you’re 10000% on point with the poignant slow pace. The image that has stuck to me and continues sucking out my life’s blood to this day is Wen Shi, as a child and as a 1000+-year-old immortal, only wants to keep following Xie Wen. Wen Shi being the quiet baby snowman with his eyes fixed to the back of Xie Wen’s head????? I???? Kill me now?????

yeah re: the antagonist, on my first readthrough i def had a moment when i was like, “oh. this guy? this motive? ...is this working for me?” But I totally decided yes ‘cause that scene was more about how badass Xie Wen and Wen Shi were LMFAO. What happened to Xie Wen and the disciples definitely feels hella not worth it!! I also remember thinking “jesus fucking christ that’s so terrible?? are they just gonna gloss over this??” re: Bu Ning but. Ack. I honestly don’t know if I’d enjoy the novel better if it were longer, and tied up every emotional loose end. THIS IS WHY WE NEED A FANDOM THO, to give us a resolution on these disciples feelings ;;;;

mmmm 緣 and karma as themes!!! I totally agree. There’s something really powerful too about the way Xie Wen kept up his calm/peace/resignation throughout the ending because he really is very much riding on that wave of 緣&fate. aND IT LEADS HIM BACK TO WEN SHI HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

oooh!! i have not heard of 銅錢龕世!! Do you recommend~? My friend was telling me how much she enjoyed Pan Guan ‘cause she thought Mu Su Li’s other works were too long and suffered for it skdfjnksdjnfsd but I know nothing. And i’m thinking of starting 全球高考 too!!!!!! eyes emoji eyes emoji eyes emoji

Me and a group of friends made our own MC server. Unfortunately, the server was abandoned. Me, being the person I am, still feel the server has potential, so I still play/write lore for it. This may be wayyyy out of the usual for my page but lets be honest, who actively stalks my tumblr page? This is mostly gonna be a place for me to dump the failed server ideas/backstories. So, here goes nothing. If you wanna read them, random stranger, feel free to! I wanted this server to last a while, and we made it almost 2 months with about 12 people in total. So, enjoy!

Character Origin 1, Seven: Seven was born into a life of poverty, shortly after he was born, he got sold to work as a slave on a sea village, quickly being transferred to a sand village outside of a prison. He did is work as a farmer to a small, yet kind and caring family, who adopted him as their own. His name, Seven, coming from a number tattooed on his neck while in the market. During Seven’s time at this small village, they had a fatal accident, having a berserk enderman ruin the home he had grown custom to. He rebuilt the fallen Village, only to have a Piglin army slaughter whomever remained. Seven only escaped with his life, befriending a Guardian named Marvin, who became his best friend (RIP Marvin, we miss you <3). The Guardian helped Seven grow stronger, and learn to fight. A few years later, he came across two children, Tex and Rox. Seven, taking sympathy for the two, took them as his own. As the revenge grew further from his mind, his children grew older. As they grew, he taught them what he knew about farming and combat. His kids grew older and left him, a crazy old man in a dirt hut with the guardian, forgetting the revenge he wished for many years. On a normal day, Seven had witnessed something unforgivable happen. He had met Oxlo, Void, and Levi. After spending every waking moment together, the three ended up falling for each other, having adopted Levi and marrying the other two, Seven had have a happy life, with his 3 stolen adopted kids and poly relationship. Character Origin 2, Levi: Levi was born into captivity from a hybrid mother. By the time he could walk, he was taken from his mother, and raised like a solider. Levi had large, beautiful wings, that got removed as a child, leaving him scared and unsure of who he was all throughout his ‘childhood.’ Being he was a hybrid being, he was used on for testing, by horrid endermen. Having experiments done constantly, he had mutated a mouth (basically Venom from the movie Venom) that he had grown to hate. As Levi grew older, he became rebellious against the unfair people. He gained many cruel and inhumane (lol) punishments. During one of these ‘rebellious moments,’ he had expected to be caught. instead, he was left alone to do so. He heard a loud crash and began to investigate. He had walked outside to see 2 large entities trying to fight against the endermen, and winning. Levi took this as an opportunity to escape. He left the end before the two closed the portal to the end. He blacked out and woke up to a short, sandy blonde man and 2, really tall men, resembling endermen, staring at him. After many, many years of building trust and learning how to communicate, Levi became one of their family. He Moved out many years later, only to return to his home town to find everything left barren and abandoned. (End Levi.)

Character Origin 3, Tex: Tex is 15-17, a strider hybrid. He comes from a Nether village called Riften, but now resides in Toadstool Field. He works as a dealer and supplier for the Midnight Mafia. He can easily build and mine, and is also good at navigating the Nether and finding gold (piglins wanted gold all the time so he grew accustomed to getting it) he's obsessive and goes into a blind rage near piglins, and gifts objects and builds often. Tex was a runt in his village, so when it was attacked by piglins when he was 6-8 he was left behind for a offering, after years of being with piglins he came to despise them. He escaped around 11-14. (He isn't good with remembering his age) He had multiple siblings, but cannot remember them very well. He assumes they are dead along with the rest of his village and now only is comfortable around Seven, Void and Levi Tex has pointed ears, and scars from water/staying with piglins. He has sharp teeth. He cannot see well, water is hurtful to him and his memory is bad but he can easily swim in lava/fire resistant. He is twitchy and quick, he has curious movements and is very touchy and talks quickly and mumbly. He wears a magenta sweater, black overalls, purple flowers scattered about and no shoes Tex wants to be renewed in his new family's eyes, he wishes not to be known as a runt he thinks everyone sees him lower bc of him being a runt. Tex doesn't understand human feelings/ striders don't have many emotions, his anger was very new to him he is scared of Piglins/hoglins and hates water

So amber was born in a town called Fransin in the nether and lived there with her single mother, she was bullied a lot as a kid because she didn't have spare money for the nicest clothes or shoes she stayed there until about 15 when her mother had kicked her out because it's the same as her mother did when she was younger, she stumbled upon a portal and went through which lead into dark woods and after wandering around for a bit she came upon Toadstool Fields. She was a bit scared, but after meeting the town's folk she adjusted to the overworld, yes she had a few bumps along the way (especially when her friends suggested they go swimming, as she’s part blaze), but she has grown more and made more friends, plus they even let her build her own home! She has always been grateful because they've always helped her and given her everything she needs, especially since she grew up kinda rough

Character Origin 5, Rox: When Rox was young around 4, she was made as a science experiment, (hence the endwalk state that will eventually happen later) she was later sent out to the street after all of those tests (for over 3 years), that she hated so dearly, After about one week on her own in the world, she was soon adopted by seven. She was taught how to fight and defend herself. As she got older, he became smarter and was filled with anger from the past. (hence chaotic good and neutral evil yknow?) So yes, around 16, she married milly and has been with her for a year now, she is just trying help people with her bakery and fight people if necessary (Since she’s in the mafia clan thingy).

Character Origin 6, Void: Void was born in the end, to a noble Enderman, though they don't remember that. They don't remember their original name, or their parents, or anything about their life. All they know is that they're not welcome in the End anymore, being ostracized after a series of unfortunate events in the End. Their first interaction with the Overworld wound up in them in a village and slaughtering everyone in it due to someone making eye contact with them, shortly afterwards picking up the masks to avoid eye contact and avoid looking at the scars on their face. They fled the premises with their sister Redacted and hid deep into the woods, starting on making a mansion for themself and their sister, where they would be safe. They want to keep all those dear to them safe, bordering a bit on possessiveness with the protectiveness. They have a lot of secrets, and in general are an unknown entity to those around them. They're extremely morally ambiguous and run a mafia, with their pet as their right hand man.

Extra: -Redacted is not Void's blood sister. -Void has worn their masks for so long they don't know what they look like. -Void only takes their mask off to threaten people. -They have such a love of birds because the first mob that didn't run away from them was a parrot. -They hate government because one tried to kidnap them once and study them as an Enderman, using water torture against them. Void escaped and killed a few people, grabbing two masks off the wall as they went to hide their identity. -Void's eyes are different from fellow Enderman, and if you look into them it's an unpleasant experience for you both. -Void is a peaceful entity until provoked, just like Enderman. -Void has an immense hatred for sand. -Void likes gazing at the stars because it reminds them of gazing into the void in the End, which is where they got their name from. -Void has a dog named Spark because shortly after they found him they were struck by lightning, which they found hilarious.

Character Origin 7, Milly: Milly is a neko hybrid, she's part feline, part human. Her existence came to be when her mother, a neko, and her father, a human, fell in love. She grew up in a small town which wasn't very popular, she wasn't picked on but she did get pushed around by some people growing up. Despite bullies, she had a normal upbringing; her parents were nice and supportive, teaching her everything they could. Her mother often told her how horrible the world can be, teaching her how kindness is a must and how no matter what, she should always help people in need and keep up a smile if she could. Milly followed this advice the best she could. While her mother taught her things through talks, her father tried to teach her things physically: he told her how he agreed, how the world was horrible, so he taught her to fight- to defend herself and protect others with her fighting skills and feline abilities. Although Milly loved her parents and the friends she had, she grew adventurous when she turned the age of 15- she wanted to explore, to see and meet more than she has. Her parents respected her wishes since they loved her dearly, they gave her all the supplies and advice they could before they hugged her goodbye. It wasn't long after that she met Rox, an enderman hybrid who she grew to cherish being around. So, her and Rox got married at 16 and She moved in with Rox, in the smp she loved living in for all her days. Hence where the story starts.

Headcanons: -Milly has about five cats she keeps, she loves cats. -She likes to draw, collect flowers, bake sweets, and help out people. -She's a lawful good person and pacifist -She likes dogs but they don't like her :( -She has special feline characteristics: she can jump two blocks higher than a normal person, she can purr, she will take random naps sometimes during the day, she has fangs, and she gets distracted by cat toys sometimes

(i stopped by yokohama's chinatown on my way to shizuoka and was attacked by all yokohama sceneries, was reminded of bungou stray dogs, and went on a BSD rereading binge lol)

they are soukoku (双黒, twin dark, double black), the vicious duo of Yokohama, the sheepdog and the mackerel, the king and the demon prodigy.

they're the classic love/hate relationship, enemies to reluctant partners in crime (and to lovers).

they were forced to work together because 'diamonds can only be polished by diamonds' and their partnership is one of 'pure trust where both of them are capable of leaving each other's life on the other's hand without a second thought or doubt'

chuuya puts his life in dazai's hands every time he uses corruption, believing in dazai unconditionally; it doesn't matter that dazai already left the port mafia (and him)

as the creators themselves mentioned, chuuya was originally designed for dazai

(also, the they have unlimited potential as a yandere ship; i always love me some psycho and unhealthy relationships, they're interesting to read and dissect)

1) Are you named after anyone?

Not that I know of, the story is my mom was stuck between my irl name, Brittany (no Celi/Cecilia isn’t my real name it’s a nickname I’ve gone by for years so it’s practically my second name that I’ll respond to irl...it was actually my Great (Great?) Aunt’s name so I keep it in her honor bc we look scary alike) and the name Megan. Both my parents liked both and couldn’t choose. After I was born my grandfather looked at me and said, “Oh yeah, she’s definitely a Brittany.” So that became my name uwu

2) When was the last time you cried?

A few days ago. One of my best friends wrote a HELLA sad fanfic and it got me really really emo because I get super attached to characters and one of them died. The whole thing was so heartbreaking and tragic it got me super down, especially because the character who died was my ult bias ಥ_ಥ so I was very depressed for like two days lmao-- I’m still a little sad tbh

3) Do you have any kids?

Nope!

4) Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Yes and no. It depends on who I’m talking to. With myself and people I’m comfortable with, yes, otherwise I’m scared of accidentally upsetting or offending people so I’ll be wary of using it ^^”

5) Eye colour?

Blue/green! My eyes are actually heterochrome, the left is more blue and the right is more green ƪ(˘⌣˘)┐ ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ ┌(˘⌣˘)ʃ (...I might have gotten that backwards but I’m too sleepy to check. I actually just went back and tried to check but I’m too sleepy to tell rn LMAO SORRY)

I’ve been told I have a talent for writing? Also I can kinda sing but I’m far too shy and anxious to make a career out of it. My mom was actually telling me the other day she’s mad at me for having such awful stage fright lol

Grapevine, Texas! I now live a bit farther south

9) Do you have any hobbies?

Too many. Reading, writing, video games, drawing, singing, shopping, sleeping, studying other languages, scrapbooking, collecting stuff...sigh

10) Do you have any pets?

I do! I have one doggo that’s the family guard dog c: His name is Cal!

11) What sports have/do you play?

I used to play volleyball and did gymnastics and cheerleading as a child, but I quit due to an injury and having just grown tired of it (p.s. I’m fine now dw lol)

12) How tall are you?

I’m about 5′3″, or roughly 160 cm

13) Favourite subjects in school?

Definitely creative writing/English, and I also really enjoyed Sign Language! I haven’t practiced in a long time, so I’m not fluent but I know enough to kind of get by. Oh, I also really loved Choir! ^^

14) Dream job?

I’d love to be an editor or work on a script for a video game or the like! Otherwise I’m totally content being a housewife oops. I’m not super ambitious, I’d be content with a simple life so long as my family and I are happy <3
