Inspired by chapter 31 of Anguish of the Marrow.
And Angel looked up at him exactly as he had looked at Tallulah that very first time, when she had charged them only to demand a tummy rub. Shocked, startled, for a moment instinctively frightened - then incredulous, laughing awe the moment he realized he wasn't in danger. That he was in a room with a primordial carnivore, and he was allowed to pet it.

Radiodust is so fucking funny to me now that the first season is out because Radiodust shippers (for the most part) had such good intentions to make a pure and happy ship where a character with sexual trauma is dating someone who has never once looked at them as a sexual object because they were ace. They tried so hard to make two characters truly happy and kind. With a character arc where the mean one (Alastor) would come around and be a big sweetie.
Then the actual show came out and Alastor is a FUCKING ASSHOLE and everyone just kinda shrugged and said "okay, Huskerdust for the win."
I mean that's what I did so I get it lol.
