warning(s): a few cuss words sprinkled around

HEARTSLABYUL:

riddle is not used to almost any kind of affection besides the few moments his mother gave it, so the very first time the both of you slept on the same bed- he was absolutely rigid. a wooden plank. it took a while for him to warm up to the idea of cuddling, but now he (kind of) does it like a pro. prefers being the little spoon- honestly just likes being held in every way. when you wrap your arms around his waist, he laces his hands with yours. he doesn’t move around a lot, so you don’t have to worry about being headbutted in the jaw.

trey likes his personal space when he’s sleeping so holding hands under the covers is enough for him -w-👍 though if you like holding someone or being held, he can do that for you too. he prefers being the big spoon and likes to put his head over yours, also likes it when you tuck your head into the crook of his neck and he can feel your breath going in and out while you’re sleeping.

cater is pretty normal when he’s asleep and doesn’t really have any preference, as long as he’s holding some part of you, he’s content. that being said- he adores it when you play with his hair, he falls asleep soo much faster and you’re reminded of a cat, especially with his green eyes.

ace is clingy as fuck. fight me on this. once he grabs ahold of you, he will not let go. you want to go to the bathroom? why didn’t you go sooner :// also doesn’t have a preference as to who’s the little and big spoon- just as long as his arms are around you, he’ll sleep fine. he does move around a bit though, it’s nothing too annoying- you’ll probably just wake up without blankets and ace lying on the floor somehow.

deuce likes holding you more than he likes you holding him. either way, he still blushes every time he looks at you- it’s inevitable. no matter how long you’ve been together, he still turns red when he looks at you’re sleeping face. he’s incredibly warm so he’s nice to cuddle, the only downside is that he moves a lot- and by that, i mean kicking and punching. you’re waking up with a couple of bruises if you don’t move away.

SAVANACLAW:

leona usually likes being the big spoon unless he’s had a bad day. there’s just something about having you in his arms that he adores- he has front-row seats to look at the way your usually tired and stressed face relax and finally get some rest. he’s the only one (besides grim) that gets to see you in this vulnerable position, all because you fully trust him. but somehow, he always ends up being in your arms when he wakes up.

jack is so so shy about it, it’s adorable. it’s kind of hard to relax with his tail wagging at 50 mph but it’s cute so it’s ok. once he’s managed to calm down a bit, he likes to wrap his arms around your waist and hold you. but if you want to be the one doing the holding- you’re guaranteed to see a very flustered wolf-boy (look up ‘do wolves like to cuddle’ and look at the images, this is a threat).

another clingy cuddler, but not as much as ace. ruggie has always slept hugging his pillow way too tight, and you can bet he’ll do the same to you. he’ll let you get up to go to the toilet but as soon as he falls asleep, you’re doomed. also, he sucks on his pillowcases a lot so you’ll wake up with a part of your shirt wet. at least you have good blackmail material 🤷

OCTAVINELLE:

azul is relatively a normal sleeper, he just gets embarrassed when he wakes up clinging to you. like that isn’t part of being in a relationship lol. it really doesn’t matter what position both of you are in- the two of you will wake up with his arms around you, your arms limp from his head resting on your shoulder with his head tucked into the crook of your neck. he also snores a little.

jade is kind of creepy (shocking), and that also includes the way he sleeps. completely straight, absolutely unmoving, looks like a vampire because you can’t even tell if he’s breathing or not. and it doesn’t really change when he’s sleeping with you. prefers to be the big spoon but can go either way, as long as one of you is sleeping on the other’s chest ‘cuz he likes listening to your heartbeat and vice versa.

you know what’s coming ._. floyd is latching onto you like squid tentacles. he’s worse than ace and ruggie combined and on some nights, that could be considered an understatement. likes being the little spoon more, tbh- there isn’t a specific reason for it either. be warned ⚠️ he nibbles in his sleep. all of his pillows have teething marks. it’s nothing too painful but his teeth are sharp enough to wake you up in the middle of the night. he also likes rubbing his cheek against you.

SCARABIA:

there are so many clingy boys on this list, and kalim is another one of them. he doesn’t move around that much but he does sleep in really weird positions. so you’ll sleep with his arms around you in a very normal pose, but you’ll wake up with his feet next to your head or something else bizarre. on the rare occasions he does wake you up and he finds out- he’ll apologize and give you tons of kisses to make up for it. he’s adorable and he didn’t mean to do it so you have to forgive him.

poor poor touch-starved jamil :( he’s so awkward the first couple of nights, he’ll act like he knows what he’s doing but he really doesn’t. he gets the hang of it eventually. his hair gets in his mouth sometimes so he always ties it up in a very loose braid before he goes to sleep. doesn’t have a cuddling preference and will usually go with what you like, as long as he’s touching you in some way, he’ll sleep fine (he’s just romantic like that. get you a man like jamil).

POMEFIORE:

everyone knows vil has a very strict schedule and routine- and that includes wearing a few face products before going to sleep. favours the big spoon because there’s less chance of you touching his face, but if you move around a lot you’ll wake up with him holding your hand at a bit of distance from you. he makes sure to give you lots of affection in the morning to make up for it.

as strange as rook is, he’s completely normal when he’s sleeping. lies on his side with a hand under his head usually- but his arms will be wrapped around you if you’re with him. subconsciously traces circles on your arms as he goes on about how radiant you look under the moonlight because of course he sleeps with his curtains and windows open. you don’t have to worry about getting cold because rook runs pretty warm.

rip to you, ig. because epel fights in his sleep- as in full-on brawls. punches and kicks everywhere and the pillows and sheets always end up on the floor. he got better at ‘handling it’ as soon as he started cuddling with you but he still does it, just not as often and not as hard. if you wake up because of it (and you will) just place your hand on top of his and he’ll eventually calm down and stay still enough for you to get close. if you mention it in the morning, he’ll get flustered and apologise >-> he’s pretty so...

IGNIHYDE:

idia is a bit messy when he sleeps. drools a little and snores a bit, a little shuffling here and there but he’s pretty normal. once the two of you start sleeping next to each other, he gets really self-conscious about his habits. the first couple of times, he tries to stay a bit further away than necessary- but he still somehow always manages to crawl to you. when he wakes up he’s so fucking embarrassed and you have to stop him from running out of his own room. you’ll kind of have to aggressively tell him that you don’t mind or you’re willing to accommodate in some way, otherwise, it’ll be like this every time.

DIASOMNIA:

malleus hasn’t cuddled anything in his sleep in centuries. he still remembers the slightly worn dragon plushie lilia gave to him, but like all kids do- he slowly stopped using it. no matter, he has you now. prefers being the big spoon more because he can pet your head that way, but he certainly won’t mind if you want to do the same to him. another one who likes nuzzling his cheek against you.

lilia sleeps like you expected he would. absolutely still and silent, but when you cuddle he likes laying his head on your chest, the sound of your heartbeat soothes him in ways even he can’t explain. in case it wasn’t obvious, likes being the little spoon. a tad clingy and he runs cold so you’ll feel a bit chilly- nothing a few extra blankets won’t fix.

silver is so dreamy when he’s asleep. the way his eyelashes rest gently on his face, even the way he breathes is beautiful. it feels like a crime to wake him up, let alone be the lucky one who sleeps next to him. doesn’t have a preference, as long as he’s near you. if you get up to go leave in the middle of the night, however, he will wake up. it’s like he can sense when you’re not there.

sebek is sebek. he’s always on guard and ready to jump into action, it even reflects in the way he sleeps. but as much as he likes to deny it, he loves when you hold his hand. he doesn’t need anything more than that, really. he also stares at you when you’re sleeping, he doesn’t know why he does it but he does. maybe he just likes the way you look when you’re relaxed.

ROYAL SWORD ACADEMY:

disney princess who? neige is absolutely breathtaking it makes people angry sometimes, and for good reason. his cheeks are always a rosy pink, his mouth is slightly parted and it’s practically begging you to kiss him awake. if you do, he’ll be flustered but very happy. sleeps like snow white, what do you expect. but when he’s with you, his favourite position is resting his head on your shoulder so your arm will be numb. and are you really going to say no to him.

chenya is a cheeky little shit, but he’s a catman so what are you gonna do. 100% tickles you with little kisses across your neck and shoulders when you’re sleeping just to mess with you, and because he just likes giving you affection. also doesn’t have a preferred position, but likes to be as close to you as possible. if you want him to stop, just pet his ears. he will fall asleep in minutes, guaranteed.

Water Nymphs and their descendents in Dootz/Mads' bullshit :P

So I know I'm going a bit nuts on the nymph stuff so I thought I'd explain it a lil bit! :D It's long af as I have SO many thoughts. Might make a straight-up demi-god one later

Things that are true with both Nereids and Naiads descendants:

Neither can do much with and have a hard time with their opposite. AKA Freshwater vs. Saltwater. It's possible that they can get used to the opposite but they will not be able to breathe or really control it. Can control and work with some but it's...difficult and not a lot. Naiads though, CAN take out the salt in increments and eventually just get fresh water. This was usually done during very bad droughts with permission from the Nereids. This is probably one of the things that give Naiads an advantage over Nereids as Nereids can't go further inland where freshwater is and necessarily turn it into salt water. Also, Nereids are bigger and physically stronger than Naiads. That doesn't mean that they always "win". But Nereids ARE more well-known and have a better connection to the big water gods. Also, only Poseidon's children can do shit with both.

Water births! This only affects PREGNANT people with naiad blood. If the father of the child has naiad blood but the mother does not, she probably won't need to do a full water birth but probably will need more water (why more water nymphs are women) It has to be within their "water type" as well. (Salt/fresh) For naiads though, with all the different types of water sources, it is more complicated. As say, for example, if there is a drought when they are born, they probably grow up to be smaller and possibly sickly. And being born in a lake vs. stream will affect size as well. Sometimes even a pond. Usually, there are preparations to try and be near a good water source for the expecting mother. There are some times when it catches moms by surprise and they have to rush to the nearest water source. Sometimes that's a bathtub :P Possibly sickly and small baby. Kind of like how certain fish grow to be bigger because they're in a big place :D Nereids are big ladies because of the sea being BIG :D

If they end up living in a new place? It's an adjustment to that new source as the minerals are different along with the different cultures as well. However, if naiad born person is visiting and there's "business" to be done with the locals, ofc they're not gonna partake as it's not "their water". If there is a drought probably will only do stuff for their companions.

There's not necessarily a "rivalry" or fighting between nereids and naiads. It's more like a "Hi! We're cool but I will NOT go in your water. I don't like it." Both will eat fish from "the other side" though. They might just not PREFER it. If there's freshwater going into the sea, they tend to meet there but don't like "passing over".

Both are kind of "fishy"! :D Pointed ears, sharp teeth, scaled, Big Irises, usually blue/green in eye color, shimmering scales sometimes, etc. Don't necessarily have gills and I think I'll have them kind of breathe through their skin.

"What tf does it mean to be seasick?" Both are comfy on boats no matter what type of water their on 🤷

Also while all fullborn nymphs are women, there are nymph descendants that are men and still have nymph traits and abilities.

With men going to war...there's a reason why they don't move water while fighting.

I'll talk about Nereids first as there are only 50 of them and not as many children. (This is Achilles' and Thetis' time to shine)

Much more PHYSICALLY powerful and larger (Blubber also exists with real saltwater animals!) than Naiads as the sea never has "drought" (No water), and is bigger and endless. (Though Achilles, being only a demigod, could get his ass beat by a full Naiad if he's near freshwater).

Achilles can literally drink seawater and actually prefers to do this. Can breathe in it as well. And this poor boy, being Nereid-born yet still getting fresh water for baths whenever he was more inland. He would just CRY during them because it "feels wrong". He eventually gets used to it but it's sadly still uncomfortable for him :'( Toss this boy in the sea.

Achilles is actually really tall. Like towering over most of the other Achaeans as he's a demigod.

One of the reasons WHY he's so sure he can take on Scamander/Xanthos (other than rage) Why are there so many names for one individual?! is because of the whole "Nereids are more powerful physically" than beings from the river but...Achilles is NOT in his element... He's not near the sea. He's also JUST a demigod. You're not fighting a naiad-born person near the sea, you're fighting a River GOD in his element. (I know he just doesn't give a fuck but it's funny to think about him being like "Yeah, I could take him down" and getting his ass kicked)

Naiads!!! I have a lot more on them as this has more to do with the characters of the Epic Cycle, as many of them are descended from Naiads, and how Naiads interact with mortals more often (getting drinking/bathing water)

So the "gods of that specific body of water" are like the "Queen bee of a hive", Naiads are like the worker bees. The Gods are usually at the very source of the water and "are the water" themselves. Naiads do a lot of the "work" though. Naiads will ask for help if they feel they need to or if the god is angry enough.

While Nereids almost all look identical in many ways. (same parents) Naiads from place to place absolutely vary. All sorts of body, hair, eye, etc. types based on the water you were born in! Especially if the father doesn't have any naiad blood in them. The more Naiad blood in you, the more you are like the water you were born in. The More WATER you are. The more "Human" your parents are, the more likely water will not affect your appearance.

Born in Rapids from a long, medium-width river? Probably curly (rapids being wild) and light hair color (the white moving water) with a tall and "medium" body. Born in a very clear, calm lake that's very deep and has a lot of red clay? Straight red hair with a chubbier body typer. Born in the murky, calm, short, creek? Probably smaller framed, with straight dark hair. You get the idea! :D

If, for example, a full-blooded naiad gets with a man who is half-naiad, it's not uncommon for your child to come out with some "impossible" appearance. Two black-haired parents can give birth to a blond baby if born in a certain place simply because of the WATER. This doesn't affect personality though.

Also, Naiads CAN go from place to place as long as it's the same region and similar water! River, stream, lake, fountain, and it's not too uncomfortable if it's in the same region (same minerals help!)

Full-blooded Naiads live in the water basically at all times but ofc, it's not like they don't marry and live with their new spouse. Though they should spend SOME time every day in the water. While it's harder for them to get dehydrated, it's still possible. Also, it feels nice! :D

If you're a mortal person who's now married to a naiad-born, you BETTER have easy access for them to get to water or then they'll probably leave you. :P Though sometimes nymphs have flings and just have their children be raised as a naiad but that depends on the place. Not ALL can live among mortals or then who'd do river stuff! :D

Different places have different customs with naiads and even with how much interaction happens. Culture usually somewhat resembles the culture of the region in general as well. Sometimes even depends on the wildlife and water type. Activities with River Naiads are different than the activities done for the Pond Naiads :D

With mortal interactions for example as well, Sparta is a place where nearly half the nobility are in some way descended from Naiads and literally can walk up to a nymph for help and most likely get it and offerings are more like "gifts" as they have more "friendship" there. While Ithaca has basically NO ONE descended from them and has to give offerings and sacrifices as required for example. (Odysseus is only so close to those naiads mentioned in the Odyssey because they become new sister-in-laws for him through Penelope. They're Telemachus' aunties >:D )

Mortals will even make man-made sources of water if the Naiads need more room/water sources. Or if there's a drought, may ask the royalty for help in possibly speaking to the Nereids if they can have some to change into freshwater... It's a partnership in most cases.

Even if the relationship between the people and nymphs is good, sometimes shit happens. If they are "mad" at the people for whatever reason or maybe weak from something themselves, they usually will head up the river/stream and...leave the people to deal with the water until they get their offerings or their strength back. Even non-humans make mistakes/get weak also sometimes.

And if someone is killed by a nymph?? Do you actually want to avenge them if it means you won't have access to water without some other sacrifice?? All those asshats that always need to take a piss off the piers and fishing docks and into the water would be killed on sight btw

Full-blooded Naiad Wife (Like Periboea): Can sense bad water as soon as it comes near them. Knows from what source it is from. Can tell what is causing it. Can purify with no problems. Can water bend a lot. Can live underwater without leaving it ever to get "air". Should have a "dip" in the water a few times a day. Usually pretty "ingrained" into their original region. It's dumb to try and bring her to a new place full-time. Can heal wounds AND probably sickness. Pointed ears, sharp teeth, large pupils, some scales, etc.

3/4 blooded person (Like Penelope and her siblings): Basically the same as above except for minor things. One difference is that if there is bad water, they usually can tell what's causing it but maybe not the specifics (i.e. Knows that there's a dead animal contaminating the water but might not be able to know what exact TYPE of animal.) Can water bend a lot as well but probably not the entire river. Has to be in the water at least ONCE a day. Can stay underwater for around a week until it starts being "uncomfortable". Can leave the region and adjust to other waters (though it'll probably still be uncomfortable at first) Can heal wounds and sickness (some naiad-born are more talented than others) Pointed ears, sharp teeth, big irises, not nearly as many scales but probably some, etc., and can be affected by dad's genetics but are definitely more affected by the water they were born in for an appearance.

1/2 blooded person (Like Tyndarius, Icarius, and Hippocoon): This is where the changes really start. Can't sense bad water until they touch it. Can "move the water" but not as much or as efficiently. Should take a dip once a day but CAN go without for 2 days until they start getting uncomfortable. Can only be underwater for around 1-3 days (depending on, some spend more time in the water than others) before needing oxygen from the air. Prefer not to be in seawater but CAN without feeling "too wrong". Only slightly pointed ears and while they have sharp teeth, they can smile without scaring people not familiar with it.

1/4 blooded person (Like Clytemnestra): Usually have to actually TASTE the water before they can tell it's bad. If they practice a lot they can maybe use a bathtub full of water :D. Only slightly pointed ears. can maybe stay underwater for 1 day with practice. can go a week without a few days without a "dip" in the water. Can go in the ocean with just an "...Ew."

Control group, with no naiad blood: "I'm just going to take a sip of water...Why tummy hurt? Say sike right now."

"Why don't men in the armies who are descended from Naiads use their abilities during wars?"

...Because local river gods don't let them. :D

"Look, you can drink from my waters and even fight with it for minor scuffles but don't involve me in your wars! >:( Be thankful I'm letting you have water to drink and bath with, you dipshits!"

I mean with how Scamander reacted to his river getting fucked up from all the blood and bodies??? Achilles fucked around and found out.

Personal recap GPF 2023 Men SP

Not that anyone cares for this but I bring this back anyway, also it's a personal opinion so if you don't agree that's completely fine with me. 😊 I usually posted recaps on @jennibeultimate but for some reason it saved it here 🤷

Congratulations to Ilia, Shoma and Yuma for posting scores above 💯! 🥳

Shoma Uno - What an amazing SP from Shoma! 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥Shoma is on a totally different level of skating when it comes to choreography, emoting to an audience and the step sequence was glorious. 🔥🔥🔥Also Shoma 3 out of 3 SPs with a 💯+ score and 4T3T when he didn't manage to include 4T3T last season at all. This is already a huge success and shows you some unknown consistency. 106,02 is also his 2nd highest SP ever at almost 26 years. It's his 9th senior season, but he looks as confident as never before.

I think though that Shoma's PCS were too low. Yeah I am aware he had the highest PCS of the 6 competitors but yet how can they all be within just 4 points??? I mean if Ilia is getting 44 Shoma should get 50!!!

Scoring aside Shoma showed he didn't come to play and that he won't go down without a fight! Everything else - scores or placements - aren't in his hands!

Ilia Malinin - Ilia's 4A was so casual wow 🔥🔥🔥Ilia with a world record BV🔥...that x on the TES box had me shook, but ok judges did it right (besides that Belgian judge with the -5 GOE 💀)...not sure if the 4A was really worth it (Shoma's PB TES score is 62,36 from Worlds 2022, Ilia's today was 62,53 with a 4A) but I mean today it did win him the SP and a personal best score... Ilia's PCS however wtf💀💀💀 I am ok with Ilia winning the SP though I personally would have seen Shoma in first but well...good job Ilia! 👏👏👏

Yuma Kagiyama - I love Yuma's SP. And his 4S is chef's kiss 😍 The best 4S of the business! I am sooo happy Yuma is back in form! I also think the point difference is ok. Still yeah Yuma's PCS in comparison to Ilia's...just no...

Kevin Aymoz - An artist on the ice! 🩵 Shame about the 3A. He only has outsider chances at a medal but I think he's just happy to be there. And I am glad he is there, he brings such a different style to skating and such unique movements!

If we talk about uniqueness we have to talk about Adam Siao Him Fa! Such a shame about the popped Lutz. In this field this mistake can cost you the Gold but there is still the free skate and when CoC teached me any lesson, then that Adam can skate brilliantly in the free to make up for it and that a 15 point lead means nothing. But ofc it's going to be much harder for him. I think his PCS suffered from the mistake, apart from the mistake I liked his performance. 😊

Kao Miura also made a costly mistake but much less a problem than Adam's mistake. I think skating after Shoma and Yuma wasn't helpful for his PCS. He is a very energetic skater and I really like his program. I just think that of the ppl in the field (apart from Ilia) his skating isn't as refined and looks a bit rushed. His speed is tremendous. 🔥 He has a new season best, which was a bit surprising considering the mistake...but I am not complaining, judges weren't stingy with anyone in particular...

Nothing is decided yet and this will be an exciting free skate! Ofc the skaters leading atm have a much better position but they are close together and one mistake can change the order.

Men definetly weren't menning which is great. Just two minor mistakes and one big one! 👏👏👏👏

lifetimes of scars both visible and not

(au, not canon, this is all related to my unreasonably extensive timeline)

i definitely made some of the text too small 😂 new tablet has given me too much power (pressure sensitivity)

closeups:

crow's feet :3c i wrote "1987 – 2005" but really it's probably more like "1990 – 2005" but birth year was easier than trying to decide exactly what year harrison started to be a piece of shit 🤷and also really his abuse did continue intermittently even after flash moved out in 2005 but not consistently since flash wasn't around him very much after that (but like, there's the incident in 2006... and some later incidents in 2013 ish) — that's what the ptsd is referring to also though by this age i think she's mostly fine... small things can still get to her of course but by 50 she's very well-adjusted and much, much happier than she was 30 years ago.

and of course... recovered/recovering alcoholic... that's kind of a lifelong thing of course

carpal tunnel is just from using a wheelchair for 30+ years

also not a wound or a scar but flash will have been on hrt for like............................ 20 years at age 50??? i think? so... boobies 😂

the three rings on her left ring finger are engagement, wedding band and an anniversary ring peter gets her for their 10th (wedding) anniversary (they'll already have been dating for like 5 years when they get married though) — she's also wearing peter's wedding band on her right ring finger on account of his arthritis causing him problems + often already not wearing it because of spidey, but you can't see her right hand in this pic and i decided not to label it since it's not exactly a scar or lasting injury

peter gets a soul patch in his late 40s because it's a law of the universe that if he's middle aged he needs to have questionable facial hair and i didn't feel like trying to draw the full goatee when i designed their older looks and i still don't (also because he looks too much like dr strange when he has the goatee AND the white streak tbh lmfao)

if peter lived into his 50s you know he'd be going fully silver w/in a couple of years already — the stress 😂 it's making him a silver fox... well. it's given him a skunk stripe at least (cause i always think it's cute when he gets a white streak when middle aged in comics)

he's got that fuzzy neck and fangs too from man-spider (even w/ the missing front teeth XD) (normally he wears partial dentures but i figured he probably doesn't sleep in them) — missing teeth, broken clavicle and one of the times he had his right scapula broken are all from the same incident which happens in 2032 and which i haven't written yet but may or may not involve a Kraven of some kind... (the first time he had the same scapula broken was by the jackal which i ALSO have not written yet... but is 2012)

busted-ass nose from when he fought doc ock around high school graduation and insisted he didn't need it looked at

and i decided to draw her a little bit fuzzy cause she's 50 here and she doesn't shave (her body) all the time anymore but... you can barely see it anyway since the hairs are red XD

trying to decide flash's level of muscle as a 50 year old woman is also difficult and i am still not sure how much tummy to give her... i probably could have given her more, though i guess she and peter still have a lot of sex....... either way i know she still has those guns even with carpal tunnel in both wrists lol

similar dilemma with peter but peter has the wrinkle of needing to eat over 5000 calories a day just to not lose weight so i think he's more likely to remain very svelte on top of refusing to like, retire from spider-man... bro take a break you already have arthritis and nerve damage which i forgot to label,

(the nerve damage is from the burn scar though) (it was real bad) (i haven't written that one yet but it's in 2009. nothing complicated, he just runs into a burning building to save people while wearing a polyester costume is all—not Trauma, just Stupidity) (...i mean, medically speaking it's burn trauma, but)

compression glove for aforementioned arthritis. he has arthritis all over, like his shoulders and stuff, but his left wrist is the worst because of when fisk broke it and he set it himself at home so it never totally healed right, but is manageable until he hits his forties and it starts getting arthritic before any of the rest of his joints 🤷 actually iirc it probably starts twinging in his 30s... but by 49 it's his whole arm for sure... plus his right shoulder... probably most of his fingers... left knee not arthritis just the nerve damage... wouldn't be surprised if he gets a sore neck from all that spidey whiplash... probably tennis elbow too lbr... yeah, he really should retire lol

also you can see his weird ribcage divots from when the extra arms in man-spider fell off...

flash and peter both got the knuckle scars—peter normally wouldn't but in 2007 he is currently spending a lot of time busting his knuckles open (peter: um some people mangle their hands punching steel and concrete to cope,) so they don't get a chance to heal fully and he ends up with scars from it.

sexual assault survivor referring to both skip in 2000 (which is finally being mentioned more concretely but i have made allusions to before) as well as the jackal in 2012 (which i have not written yet but have a lot of notes for) (well, i have a lot of notes for all of this, really,) - those are also both the major sources of his PTSD, particularly the jackal, though he's got other traumas too like his abandonment issues (parents' death) and his uncle's death... he's just been through a lot in general. unlike flash he isn't like, mostly fine, either, and therapy didn't really work out for him, so he's on... meds lol though idk maybe by 50 he doesn't need them anymore..... when he was in his 20s and 30s for sure though... he is a man prone to flashbacks and nightmares... hyperfixation... and 2012 will be a very traumatic year for him if/when i write that fic...

me like angst😂 it's happy too though!!! i mean sure tragic ending eventually but also they are together for nearly 30 years despite all odds and that's not tragic at all... they love each other... 🥺🥰

though for flash 50 feels like a longer time than she'd ever expected, like, this is a woman who never thought she'd even make it to 20, you know???? so 50 is a pretty big deal. regardless of if i have her live longer than peter or not, though, i don't think she's surprised when he dies... like, upset yes, but... there have been so many times she's worried he'd never come home so it's only a shock in that it's emotionally devastating, not surprising at all. a long time coming... RIP

oh update in july lmao: i realized i had forgotten about a scar peter will probably acquire in 2012 in my notes and only found it skimming thru my timeline recently to edit some stuff so i sketched this real quick:

though in my mind this sketch is of peter when he's still in his mid to late 20s... but the handprint is obviously a mark of kaine print (though I think i may have made it too small XD considering peter already has big ol hands and kaine is 4 inches taller than him) think of it as something like a grab while grappling during a fight, like wrestling or whatever—though i'm ngl i'm still working out some details but i think when peter is first kidnapped by warren, he may attack kaine, for reasons having to do with his aunt, though like i said i'm still working out some stuff so there isss a chance i scrap this scar anyway... we'll see if i ever make it that far (current fic is 2007 and this would be 2012 after all but i may end up time skipping at some point like i did with, for example, curse of the man-spider)

drawing peter on a towel was the only way i could think of to get his back bare at this point too. he really buttons up for a while there.

A/N: Don't we all imagine Peter being our boyfriend? 🖤🙃

Warnings: none, just mentioning of very soft sex headcanons.

Caring and gentle most of the time.

He speaks to you in the same tone as he speaks to the children. Almost never raising his voice, unless he's really angry, but even then he doesn't yell at you, he just speaks very loudly, cause of all the emotions he feels in the moment.

Always asking you things like: how are you, how are you feeling, is something bothering you, what are thinking about... etc.

He asks those questions for two reasons: he truly cares about you and he wants to know to better control you.

He doesn't like when you don't answer honestly to his questions, so don't say I'm fine, when you're clearly not fine. If you still insist on not telling you what's the matter, he will read your mind and then ask you to expand on anything he found in your head.

Just don't lie to him in general, he despises it and it's a big turn off for him.

He promised to never hurt you nor mentally nor physically. He assumes that a promise once said don't have to be repeated, but if you need reassurance, he can say it to you again and again and again.

He's very patient in general, but with you he has even more patience if that's even possible.

He likes everything about you and tells you compliments All. The. Time and they're always honest, and it's funny, because he don't consider them as compliments, he's just stating the fact.

He never lies to you, except those rare occasions when he manipulates you, which he doesn't consider as lying. 🤷

He loves when you stand up for yourself or for what you believe (not much standing up for others, unless it's him, because other people are EW).

Soft, small touches through out the day.

And more intense, sometimes rough touches through the night.

He's your big spoon, but secretly loves being small spoon.

Ask you a lot about relationships and your experience, because he's never been in one. He knows how relationships work, cause he saw how it was between his parents, but he's clueless when it comes to healthy relationship.

He was raised in early 50's and at that time women and men had more strict gender roles, so if you are more modern/progressive type of person, you have to tell him that. He'll be confused at first, but then he'll accept it as something useful, cause he sees you as equal to him anyway.

Romantic gestures are rarely. He tries though, he copies what he sees in romantic movies, but he doesn't feel comfortable with it.

Fun fact: the most romantic gestures from him are the ones he doesn't consider as anything special.

A lot of dirty talks in bed once he gain some experience.

He's very possessive and jealous. It often causes problems and heated arguments.

He wants you all to himself. He can treat you like a queen, like someone equal to him, like someone very special, someone very close to his bitter heart...as long as you treat him like he's THE ONE (pun intended) in your life, figuratively and literally. So if you're introverted then it's shouldn't be much of a problem most of the times, but if you're more social then... ugh, big issue.

He accepts you for who you are and expects you to accept him too with all his flaws.

Not that he has any of course - according to him.

He low-key likes showing off to you, using his power here and there like it's nothing.

If you're his, you're his forever.

The same way around. He's yours forever.

He won't cheat on you, ever. Cheating's another thing he despises.

If you're into marriage then he'll marry you, though he doesn't need it and sees it as another unnecessary made up rule.

You're the only person that awakes good emotions in him.

He won't say I love you right away, because of his trust issues and abandoned issues.

But when he'll finally say it, you can count on more elaborated monolog about how much and why he loves you.

im the one from before, i've seen the update about the Nomura statement. So it seems they didn't get it wrong in spirit or meaning BUT the decision to implicate "not so pitiable" is like saying it's pitiable but not so much. Compared to "they have a good relationship" which is more direct and doesn't sound 50/50 like they're not so sure. You don't have to be a genius to see that the translation isn't exactly doing the right job of conveying Nomura's statement. Hence why people still hone it in that "she is pitiable" in the comments. Dumb cleriths or not. I've seen it once on discord (under the stars), a member of that shinra archeology stating for example that they're well aware that Cloud DID NOT imply to have feelings for both women, like 0% proof BUT they got to say it and cop out due to not wanting to sound biased on other sides. I suppose they decided onto the 325 version and an implication that doesn't sound as good as " she's not pitiful, she has a good relationship with cloud" because it might sound biased. But in doing so, they're creating more havock than good. Shipping matters or not, they're not helping Tifa's character at all, neither Cloud's. Until they get a clearer canonical confirmation that Cloud is into Tifa and that he isn't into aerith etc. They cannot move pass being 50/50 when pushing out statements and I'd say. Fck them, it's like it's better if they actually just shut up to begin with.

and the people conveying "its stated in the source/website" that there's a LT going on is like sating you lost the part where it was clearly a red herring all along. Words and statements are powerful... Why else would we be so pissed with SENA to begin with. I mean it when I say people have their eyes closed and lack empathy to understand FF7 and it's characters. It's a real shame. I hope moving forward EC and the trilogy or more would completely just put a nail in the coffin in all these. I'm tired of the weekly basis of defending a story that's so easy to comprehend. Sorry, my statement is long, I just wish to convey my disapproval to someone who knows more than me but I as a private person being anonymous is the best I feel like doing it due to my anxiety. They deliberately fucked with the phrasing to alter the meaning and make it more negative than it is. The statement is actually quite positive, but you'd never know it from the way they talk. They're always trying to make Tifa out to be this pitiful figure who "deserves better", even though she's really happy with Cloud and they have a good relationship.

And you'll also notice the only time they ever share anything about Tifa is when they think they can shit on her and Cloud's relationship. There's so many quotes for cloti, but they never include them. They only focus on being negative and trying to inflate their non existent bullship instead.

And when we call for sources they make bullshit claims about copyright. Because a 20+ year old magazine, which was issued in the thousands and we're asking for a snippet of would really piss off SE, who have no affiliation with the company in question, and said company also wouldn't give a shit about a tiny extract being shared when people have in the past shown entire page scans, but sure, y'all hide behind the word "copyright" like we don't know how copyright laws work 🙄

Btw, I'm a copy editor, so I know how copyright laws work for several countries 🤷

Games I finished during my one month of game pass (12/22 through 1/18)

This is so long. Did I do literally ANYTHING else in my free time during this month except game? Probably not.

Starfield (approx. 50 hours probably?): already talked about here

Hi Fi Rush (unsure, I guess about 10-15?): already talked about here

Griftlands (20 hours): this was not on game pass and yet! Also already talked about here

Pentiment (probably like 15 hours): I enjoyed it but found some of the pacing of the actual gameplay frustrating:

Too much walking back and forth through areas - this would have still been frustrating in an open world-ish game but in a game with load time between areas? Really???

The text reveal and writing sounds - the downside of this is also that it makes me get in the habit of mashing A and then sometimes I miss some lines too 🤷

The unskippable fucking animations (like someone rappelling down a rope for an INTERMINABLE period of time. I mean, probably in reality it was like maybe 15 seconds but that is too fucking long!)

etc.

However, the central murder mystery is pretty compelling (Name of the Rose vibes!), and the very in depth look into what people lived like in a 16th century small Bavarian town has almost a slice of life kind of quality. So overall thoughts: liked the core concept, wish it were less annoying in execution so I didn't immediately put the controller down once I hit credits, knowing that I would never see the other branches.

The Lamplighters League (prob. 30-40 hours?): Tbh, the only reason this game was on my radar was because Anjali is in it, and hilariously, though I did not know this before I played it, she actually plays TWO main-ish characters in it, both of whom I immediately recognized. (Also, she's great in it, love her.)

Anyway, CR-adjacent obsession aside, it's basically an XCOM-alike with some interesting lore, a charming 1930s vibe, and its primary mechanical innovation being a blend of real time mode and turn-based combat, but ultimately I found myself a little frustrated with the interplay between the two modes.

Because you only have three agents and limited action economy (2 AP per turn unless you have AP generating stuff going on, which early on is basically almost nil), getting into fights with large packs of enemies is lethal, and the point seems to be using your real time takedown abilities to thin the herd before "going loud". But the nature of real time is that it's kind of fiddly, and especially with Ingrid's slam which can take out three at once, lining that up with time pressure was really finicky and often I'd whiff and roll my eyes before reloading (yes, I am that person, I can't help it).

The "base" team of Ingrid, Lateef, and Eddie is fine, but without the very obvious synergies of other recruitable agents (Celestine and the Alexandrite, Eddie and Purnima, etc.), but the limited skill points and time pressure as the world clock runs meant I never had time to experiment with agents. (Finished the game with the initial three, Celestine, and Purnima only.) Obviously there's a replayability angle here, but also look I don't want to play another 30 hour campaign...

Nonetheless, overall I enjoyed it and I would have enjoyed it if I'd paid for it, it being on game pass was a nice bonus. Also, the snippets of conversations between agents in-between missions were more charming than I expected. (Yes, this means my eyebrows went up and I thought, "hmm, I could probably ship them".)

Venba (probably like 1~2 hours): Very charming little visual novel (or at least visual novel adjacent) game about an Indian family that's emigrated to Canada. The writing can sometimes be a little too on the nose, but overall the game is carried by its charm. Obviously as a Korean who spent significant time in the US as a child and has relatives who emigrated to the states, etc., the general throughline is pretty familiar, but the use of cooking as the main gaming mechanic to ground the story in a very specific Tamil identity is inspired. Anyway, wanted to grab Kavin and shake him. With the investment being pretty short, definitely do recommend.

Cocoon (probably like 5 hours? Not sure.): A one-button, zero dialogue puzzle traversal game. (The developer is apparently known for Limbo and Inside but I played neither of those.) Enjoyed it until the middle and got annoyed by pacing again -- lots of running back and forth and ball juggling (which is kind of a spoiler, perhaps, but makes zero sense out of context, so, I'm fine with it, I think) making the solving of puzzles feel too much like busywork. As we can tell, as I grow older, my patience for slowness in games is wearing increasingly thin. Anyway, it's not BAD, by any means, but the kind of game where I'm pretty glad I played it on game pass.

Games I did not "finish" but am still playing:

Against the Storm (about 40 hours in): I tried this one on game pass for the tutorial and one settlement before immediately realizing I wanted this beyond one month and went to buy it on Steam. Beat the second seal and 1 settlement on Viceroy difficulty before I decided to take a bit of a break so I didn't burn myself out entirely. Heartily recommend if you enjoy the early city building under time/resource pressure experience of games like ONI, Frostpunk, etc. Less so if you enjoy the meticulous, long-term "building a megacity" aspect of Cities or the Anno series.

Games I tried for about 15-30 minutes and decided nope!

Elite Dangerous: It was on sale for like 8.99 on Steam and I decided to try it but I could NOT figure out what the fuck was going on, also I suck at space ships (I have a poor sense of direction and navigating 3D space is terrible for me).

Thirsty Suitors: I got as far as the first tutorial battle against Sergio and realized this is very much NOT a game for me. Which is unfortunate because I wanted to like it, and I'd heard good things, but alas. The style simply did not land.

Grounded: I found the concept in general interesting, but the giant bugs are just. A bit much.

Slay the Spire: It's not so much that I decided no entirely as I had other games I wanted to get to more and I've run out of time this month, but perhaps I will try it again at a later point.

Have You Seen Pokémon's Latest Gimmick? Have You SEEN It?

Yo, dawg, the new ScarVi presentation dropped! I'm kinda, well...

I let you watch the video first, then hit "Keep Reading" for my hot take. Granted, it's been over twelve hours, so it's not that hot, but I had work today! Cut me some slack!

Skip the first nine minutes if you only care about ScarVi. You may want to hit up the official website, too, since I'll also be discussing information you can find there that's not in the video.

Up to speed now? (Heh) Whatever, it's not like I can stop you.

In case you skipped the video (and haven't learned of it by now) I'll start by saying the new region's name is Paldea. It's an okay name, I guess. Certainly no Galar. I'm not sure I can parse any meaning out of it, but I'm feeling "Palace" and "Idea." 🤷

I'm saying this now, because the video opens with a montage of Pokémon, including the blink-and-you'll-miss-it introduction to the only regional variant seen thus far: Paldean Wooper. I noticed it was brown right off the bat, but dismissed it as a trick of lighting. Nope. It's Ground/Poison Type, and it's antennae now look like crossbones. Don't worry, you'll get to see it properly later.

How do I feel about it? It's passable. I mean, I suppose the bones are kinda neat, but I don't see myself going out of my way to find one. What I do find notable, however, is that Paldean Quagsire is nowhere to be seen. It's firmly in Shcroedinger Space, my friends, simultaneously being in the game and on the cutting room floor. But there are also two other options: Either it evolves into a completely new Pokémon (like Galarian Meowth into Perrserker instead of Persian) or it may not evolve at all (A first for the series regional variants!). That makes it at least 50% more compelling.

The first thing the video makes a big to-do about is the Treasure Hunt. It's a thing you can do, apparently instead of actually taking classes in the school you just enrolled in (Wait, is Ash going to enroll in a PokéSchool again, or will Paldea just be added to the Journeys-formula rotation?). What kind of treasure you ask? [Laughs in Just Buy The Damn Game] That would be telling! The only hint you get is some kind of glowing plant you see characters inspecting in the wild for a second or two. Something tells me it's made of crystal...

I assume this is one of the three story paths mentioned in the website, which only describes the gym path and says to stay tuned for the rest. I assume one is the Treasure Hunt (though why it wouldn't just say that now is beyond me), and one is about taking down Team Thorn-In-Your-Side (not necessarily mutually exclusive, also not introduced yet). Gyms can be challenged in any order, but I've yet to determine that they can be beaten in any order without purposeful grinding. Clear them all, and you can take the Champion Assessment for Champion Rank! I presume this occurs in the fog-shrouded crater in the middle of the region, but it looks kinda sinister, actually...

If this makes you effectively Champion or just allows you compete for the title, I can't say. What Nemona says in one screenshot on the website suggests to me that you'll still have to compete for it, but it could be open to interpretation. My guess is that it'll be another tournament like Sword & Shield instead of the Elite Four like every other game in the series (Sun & Moon, you cowards! This could've been you!)

Also, the only gym leader introduced thus far is Grusha, from Glaseado City(Town?)'s Ice-Type Gym, who I thought was a girl at first. I blame the hair and that huge-ass jacket. Unless they're trans, in which case why keep the hair? Is he shivering the video, or is that just me?

We also get to see what stands in for HM's in these games; Koraidon and Miraidon! That's right! Early on, you'll befriend the box legendary and get to right around on its back! They're literal all-terrain vehicles, zooming over the land, climbing up cliffs, swimming in the water, and gliding through the air! Well, Miraidon is a vehicle, at least, transforming into different Modes. It actually transforms into a futuristic motorcycle. Koraidon just pretends to be a motorcycle by rolling its tail into a wheel shape, but just runs around on all fours. I think I just lost a significant amount of respect for this guy, not gonna lie. At the very least, Miraidon looks cooler as a motorcycle.

Also, why are it's different traversal modes called "Builds"? I mean, I kinda get it, but why not "Styles" or something?

Now, what isn't elaborated on is whether or not you actually catch them that early or not. Admittedly, having a legendary at your beck and call from the get-go is a little too Mary Sue to me. I mean, I cut my teeth in Pokémon forum RP's with rules to prevent this sort of thing because Legendary Pokémon are too special for everyone to have one (or they were <_<). But any game that doesn't require you to have HM's also doesn't require you to have the Pokémon that uses them in your party. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl has the Pokétch summon wild Pokémon to do this for you, and Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee allows you to remove your starter from your party (they don't like it, but they still sit on your shoulder and let you use their abilities). You'll definitely be able to catch Koraidon or Miraidon properly at some point, just not necessarily right away. In fact, I can imagine you losing access to them at the climax of the game, and then you can catch them when you reunite. And even if you are given them on the outset, they won't need to be in your party to use them. If you can't catch them, you'll probably be given an item that summons them, the like flute from Legends Arceus.

Another new Pokémon they introduce is Fidough. It's blink-and-you-miss-them again the first time, and I thought they might've been Pawmi initially. Wrong again. It's obvious from the name, but it's clear on the website that they are, if not made of bread, at least bread-related. Its breath contains yeast, which can ferment things, probably meaning beer. Okay, not everything fermented is alcoholic, but it's still an option. The website describes its texture as moist and smooth, which I'm not sure is a feature I want to see (or feel) in a dog.

In actual action, you see the new Pokémon Cetitan being used by Grusha in a Pokémon Battle. A whale? On LAND? Surely, this is pure randomness, but no! Dolphins and whales were once a terrestrial species that for some reason evolved to live in the sea. Clearly, Cetitan is a reference to that. Also, the website says it's over fourteen feet tall, but you wouldn't know it from the trailer. It's no taller than any of the human NPC's watching the battle. It's Galar's pony-sized Wailords all over again.

Also, interesting variety of trainer NPC's. The dude in the gas mask looks pretty cool. Trainer customization isn't detailed in the trailer, but on the website it seems that your clothing options are kind of limited. You'll basically be wearing a school uniform but, like the anime Soul Eater, there are a variety of uniform styles. You can also change your hair and facial features (Good! The default eyes are a little too doll-like for my tastes) and wear various accessories. So despite being limited to wearing school uniforms (depending on how you define those terms), your appearance may be far more customizable than ever before.

Speaking of NPC's, of all the NPCs in the game, only Academy Director Clavell is shown with both uniform variations side-by-side on the website. Right down to the pose, the only difference seems to be the color. The only other character(s) shown like this are the player characters, and they get to have different poses. Could this signify something? Is there something different about Clavell in each version? Are there two Clavells in each game? Or is this some kind of oversight?

Another couple of characters we're introduced to are Arven, who sucks at battling is a great chef (does that mean Nemona, who's great at battles is a terrible cook?), and Penny, who I thought was a boy at first. I guess that's why they put her in a skirt. That's translucent. Is misgender-baiting going to be a recurring character theme in this game, or is this just stereotypical Japanese fondness for androgynous characters? Penny is defined by her shyness.

An extremely flamboyant, driverless vehicle appears in the trailer, and it's also on the page that teases the three story paths. This could belong to Team Thorn and/or be part of a yet-unrevealed racing mode. I mean, you ride a Pokémon that transforms into a motorcycle in this game. How can you not race them? I've said it before and I'll say it again: Pokémon. On. Motorcycles. You got the bikes, now you just need the battle racing! C'mon Game Freak! Make my day!

Another blink-and-you'll-miss-it confirmation: Rotom Phone is still your Pokédex! It seems the guy who made the Pokédex app for it, Jacq, is a teacher at your school, too (he teaches biology?). There appear to be a number of distinctive characters teaching at your school, so you can probably expect at least one of the story lines featuring the school heavily. It's probably not your base of operations like Jubilife Village in Legends Arceus, but you'll likely see it more often than your hometowns in previous games. (There's barely anything in them, so why would you?)

Oh, and the name of your school? Naranja in Scarlet and Uva in Violet. Literally just "Orange" and "Grape" in Spanish. I expected better, Game Freak. Kind of a let down after generations of creative place names. Granted, in the first games the towns were literally named after colors, but c'mon...

Evolution appears to be very brief in this trailer. You see a Noibat sparkle, then a Noivern in a shower of sparkles. Maybe most of it was cut out for some reason, but I think the point they're making is that, like trading, at least part of the sequence is in the game's environment. Not even Legends Arceus could do that! Then again, in Legends Arceus you could do that from the menu. ScarVi will probably just have it auto-trigger again, which makes sense. Why else would your Pokémon be out other than having just battled with it?

There is a brief glimpse of the Pokédex in the presentation after the trailer. Entries in the list look like books, at least as they are being added to the 'dex, but like cards when viewing the entries themselves. Kinda neat.

Instead of just appearing wherever like in the Wild Area, it seems other players load into your game via a portal next to each Pokémon Center. One of the players appears to stutter as they land, which suggests to me a connection issue although even characters in the foreground can be seen stuttering in the animations throughout the video. Still, it makes me imagine that when someone loses their connection in the middle of loading in, they'd just rocket back up into the sky.

They also show all the players on their box legendaries as a group, which is kinda neat despite what I said earlier. Its not like they're all from the same universe. Come to think of it, if you're the only one in the game world with Koraidon or Miraidon, then being able to traverse the environments like that is kind of a super-power. Cool.

And, finally, the gimmick that is in the game: Terastallization.

Sigh...

I mean, I know kaiju-sized Pokémon is a tough act to follow, but this is just gaudy. It's basically an attempt at apply Mega Evolution to every Pokémon by applying what I presume is a shader that makes they look like they're made of crystal and sticking a chandelier on their head.

Let's cut to the chase: You lost me at the chandelier. I mean, I figured that the best way to "Transform" literally every Pokémon without having to design essentially over a thousand new Pokémon was to just mount something onto the existing character models. But this? I can only assume it's for the sake of visibility, but I would've gone with a mask or something. This just looks absurd!

Now, I assume the Terastal Pokémon have increased stats like Mega Evolution and Dynamax/Gigantamax do, but that feature has not been expressed. What has been expressed is the transformations Tera Type feature. So far, it seems there are 16 chandeliers, one for each Type (normal is a huge-ass crown, which I probably should refer to them as, but I won't). Each individual Pokémon has their own Tera Type that they become when they Terastalize, which can be different than the type(s) their species usually has. You could have a Quaxley that changes from Water Type to Fire Type! (Yet another thing to reset-spam for!) The Tera Type will effectively work the same as ordinary types do, so any moves with a Type matching the Tera Type will get a Same Type Attack Bonus (I assume other moves will lose STAB). But if your Pokémon's Tera Type is the same as one of their usual types, fear not because this effect Stacks. Moves that match both the usual type and the Tera Type get even more powerful. I don't know by how much, but I'll go out on a limb and say this means Double STAB. This is apparently

This is honestly the most intriguing part of Terastallization. Still dumb, but an interesting wrinkle nonetheless. It's also absolutely disgusting. You wanna catch every Pokémon in every form? Including Gigantamax Factor, Shinies, and whatnot? Well, f███ing multiply that by goddamn SIXTEEN motherf███er, because now every f███ing Pokémon has an alt form for every f███ing type! I don't know how rare each Tera Type is, but that is some serious replay value right there, boy.

Not outlined in the video but on the site are the limitations for Terastallization. First, instead of a band like the rest of the gimmicks, you have the Terastal Orb. It's basically an extra PokéBall you can recall your Pokémon into so you can Terastallize it, kind of like how you call your Pokémon to Dynamax/Gigantamax. Like Mega Evolution, only one of your Pokémon can do this per battle, and it lasts until the battle ends.

But! Unlike the other gimmicks since X&Y, the Terastal Orb does not recharge automatically between battles! You instead have to either find Terastal Crystals out in the wild or take it to a Pokémon Center. You won't be spamming it every battle in single player like with Mega Evolution or Z-Moves, but you can probably use it every multiplayer match anyway.

Pokémon with rare Tera Types are more likely to be found in Tera Raid Battles. These take place in crystal outcroppings (that you can probably recharge your orb at) that you can see at a distance thanks to glowing shafts of light, like Raid Dens. Unlike Raid Dens, each crystal glows a certain color reflective of the Tera Type of the Tera Pokémon within. Also, the interiors aren't vast, open voids (because Tera Pokémon aren't typically massive) but small caves with crystalline walls reflecting the Raid Boss' image.

Tera Raids are four-on-one matches with a time limit, but the similarities pretty much end there. First of all, everyone can be Terastallized at the same time. Second, you don't have to wait for the other players before making your move. Everyone can act at their own pace, which I assume includes the Raid Boss. I don't know exactly how it works, but if you have a habit of being indecisive be prepared to be left in the diamond dust. And high-level Raid Bosses with a maddening attack rate.

You can also now cheer on your teammates while your Pokémon is still conscious, but that also means you're not giving your Pokémon a command at the same time. For whatever that's worth. There are also now three kinds of cheers, one for boosting Attack & Special Attack, one for boosting Defense & Special Defense, and one for healing. Your Pokémon can be an all-out attacker and still be able to lend support.

Like with Max Raid Battles, you have to defeat the Tera Pokémon before you can catch it. Unlike Max Raids, if the Water-type Gardevoir in the video is any indication, instead of idly standing, the Pokémon will maintain a defeated posture during this sequence. I think it's just pausing during its fainting animation, though.

All that is pretty nice, though I can't shake the feeling that his is just Max Raid Battles with silly hats.

That's all I really have to say. The website says something about switching between the three story lines, so I have to wonder if there's a literal switch in a menu somewhere. More likely you can just follow each story line independently of the other two, ignoring quest objectives as you see fit. Although that means you have to avoid certain locations to keep from advancing the story.

There's also an early-purchase bonus, which in prior games they'd refer to as a pre-order bonus even though it's just a time-limited download that doesn't care how you bought it. In this case, it's Flying Pikachu, specifically with the Flying Tera Type and the move Fly, available until February 23. I assume there'll be a Water Tera Type version with Surf later on.

Hi! Here it is, the moment I’ve been waiting for! And I’m gonna put an end of this, because here’s my Part 9 of my Essager USB Type C Cable with my Accezz USB Type C to Micro USB Adapter, my Romoss Sense 6+ Pro Power Bank and (as always) my paper dolls.🙂

In my previous part No. 8 it was a tragic failure overall, compare to the controversial part in No. 7. But now, I need to be precise and perfect timing as possible without any mistakes much like I did many times! So let’s go!⚡📲🔋😊

BTW #1: Once again, I’m using my dad’s phone of the same brand and model as I have; much like I did in the previous one.📱👨

So without further ado, let’s get started:

1st & 2nd Image(s): • You’ve already see me plugging my Power Bank through my Phone using my combine USB cable. But nonetheless, charging time is now starts at 12:46 AM. 🕐⚡📲🔋

•And here you can see, my Romoss Power Bank is now full four led lights 💡💡💡💡! Hopefully these lights will remains after my phone fully charged.🙂

•So while we’re wait, I’m gonna feed my paper dolls once again! With left over cardboard porkchops and rice! 😋🍚🥩

3rd & 4th Image(s) • At 1:58 AM 🕐, my Honor 8C phone is now at 50% charging 🔋⚡. And according to calculator.net’s time duration [CLICK ME!], it took 1 hour 12 minutes to charge in half a hundred. Let’s compare to my previous charge test (5% to 50% charge time).↓

• My paper dolls saying, they saw Buster Bunny (from Tiny Toons) just peeking at my activity, the whole time! Yeah, heheh I think I noticed that. I was gonna get rid of him, but it’s too late so I’ll leave him alone. 😅

5th Image: • Also during reaching 50% charging, my Romoss power bank has now 3 led lights remaining (indicates 90-80%). So It’s gonna be the same remaining as my part no. 6.🙂

6th to 8th Image(s): • Finally at around 4:08 AM 🕓, once again my Honor 8C is now fully charged📲🔋 💯 . Total duration of time from 12:46 AM to 4:08 AM is 3 hours 22 minutes. Once again, let’s compare to my previous charge test (5% to 100% charge time).↓

• My paper dolls’ thoughts saying... Well “Okay”.🤷 I know, given that this is 2.1A USB port from my Romoss Power Bank, it takes 3 hours to charge my phone compare to Quick Charge 3.0A USB port’s time of 2 hours which a little better than the regular 2.1 A USB port.

• [6th Image]: I even took a pic without using flash, to see what remaining led lights from my Romoss Power Bank; yup, it’s still three lights remaining. It should be fine.🙂

• And yes you may wondering, Buster Bunny still there peeking. Heheh...😅 Now if only I have Babs Bunny figure, then I’ll introduce to my paper dolls. Just saying.😉

Overall: • I could agree more with Paper Dolls, It is a “meh” result. It looks like I’m gonna stick with the Quick Charge 3.0A USB port because it’s much better charge time result. And though my Honor 8C phone was a (bit) mid-range smartphone without supporting Qualcomm quick charge feature built-in, I could charge it in a decent 2 hours, so yeah.☺️👌

BTW #3: Remember what I said about the Part 9 will be the finale? Well, I have to scratch that though. Because there is one more thing that I need to do before I end this topic and move on to my ongoing ones. And uh... I gonna need to wait my recent Romoss power bank rang out before I charge it with my Huawei USB Charging Brick; and that’s gonna be my part finale No. 10!

So I'm trying to start doing cam work. I was wondering if you've time to share you're experiences/acquired knowledge from your work with doing cam. You're someone I trust and very much admire.

I've never gone live on cam. I only make pre- made videos / photos for manyvids. So unfortunately I can't really give you advice on camming itself.

And honestly, after 5 years of being a sw online, I'm pretty over it. There's not as much money in it since Tumblr went downhill. Twitter has restrictions on adult accounts too. Snapchat even is deleting private adult accounts. I don't find it to be worth my time in a monetary way, and so I don't want to encourage people to waste their time.

I've been doing other things for work the entire time I've been an online sw too. Working two jobs and feeling exhausted bc I'm trying to juggle everything and I'm sick all the time too which never helps anything. Idk, I appreciate your admiring and wanting my advice but straight up my advice is not to waste your time. I'm going back to school. 🤷

I keep my profile up as passive income and I'm lucky if I make enough to get paid out in a month. I used to always hit the 2 weeks payout. And most camming sites take 50% or more of what you earn, which is way more than MV takes from me. You only earn a percent of the money you make, there's really no laws besides copyrights to protect you in any way. You can work for days and not make a damn thing. Nothing. There's no compensation when you don't make enough, you're just broke. I'm over putting in hard work for it to no longer be appreciated.

So uh, sorry if that's not the advice you wanted to hear but it's the truth about how I feel. I used to love it. Now I don't think it's even worth my time. If you still decide you want go forward, I'll give you my safety tips though.
