That car commercial where they say “the moment I loved that car most was the moment they walked away from” with the car crashed in the back ground.

That but a teary eyed Engie saying “the moment I loved our pybro most, was when they walked away from them.” With tMedic and Sniper coming over to Engie while Pyro and Spy are in the background, both equally on fire but spy a chard corpse and Pyro doing the conga.

Happy Friday Everyone ! This week was such a roller-coaster lol

Positive things that happened :

Went to my first french class 🇫🇷

Got 4.5/5 on my 2 computer science assignments

On a less positive note : I've been seriously reconsidering my course. When I talked to my bf's mum about it she said :

"it's okay not to know everything in your course - the reason why you're there is to learn. If you already knew everything, you wouldn't need to learn anything - and that would be painfully boring"

& it really cheered me up. So! With that I'm off to enjoy my weekend (with some mild study ofc) & I'm sending you all positive vibes 🌻🌞🌸

Wow !! Pediatric neurology??❤️😯What made you choose this specialisation?😃

Hey @tmedic

I always knew I wanted to do something in pediatrics. I've spent this entire year doing adult neurology (it's part of what you have to do to be a pediatric neurologist) and I very much made the right choice to work with kids.

The neurology part, well, I didn't figure that out until I was already in my pediatric residency. You see, I always liked the brain. My major was psychology with a neuro track, I liked the neuroanatomy part of my anatomy class the most however the person who taught the neurology in medical school was a nightmare and specifically had it out for me and another girl in my class (a story of another day) so my 23 year old brain decided bad instructor causing bad feelings = neurology bad.

And so I avoided it for the rest of medical school any way I could.

I matched to pediatrics and 4 months in I made the discovery that I loved neurology. It was the stuff I was most excited to see and think about and got the greatest sense of accomplishment when I could help make a diagnosis and actually help a child. Most of the cases from residency that impacted me hard and that I'll always remember are the neurologic ones.

It's kind of history from there and now I'm in a pediatric residency program almost done with my adult year and about to really start my pediatric neurology training and I am pumped. The training for pedi neuro is different than all other pediatric specialties in that way but it's really great and I wish more people had the chance to explore it!

Hi everyone! My name is Guadalupe I’ve been wanting to become part of the studyblr community for some time but I was too scared lol.

About me

I’m 17 years old (she/her)and currently in senior year of high school

I’m bilingual, I speak English and Spanish and I’ve been wanting to learn Italian for some time now

I don’t really know how to describe myself but I hope I can become more social (?) this way :))

Interests

I played clarinet for about four years so I’m pretty rusty now but I miss it :(

I was in my schools dance company but school work, man

Although I don’t know how to draw very well I want to learn how to use watercolors. It’s something I’m focusing on right now :) if you guys can share some tips, it would help immensely

I enjoy kdramas

I listen to anything really but I enjoy rock en español :)

I also want to learn more about photography

Academics

I’m studying biology and anatomy as I want to peruse a career in the medical field

I’m also taking AP literature & comp as well as AP span language and culture

I’m really struggling at the moment with online classes so one of my goals is to maintain a 3.5 gpa

Why a studyblr?

I’m joining the community to become more motivated and productive. Also to keep myself accountable for my schoolwork, I feel this platform will help me grow as a person and student. Well this blog will be a reminder to myself of my achievements and such.
