What/who made you come to simblr and what/who made you stay?

omg i love this one. LOVE this one. so i just came back to tumblr last year. i dont think ive even been back for a whole year yet. but before that i did have another one that started off in 2012 as a sims 3 tumblr called klauseconfessions. but what MADE me start it is one day i was scrolling through tumblr looking for cc. and i was just a lurker but i came across leiland by my good friend @gloomymoood and i was like k im signing up lol.eden and i became good friends <3 and still are. in fact she is a big reason i even know how to use blender in the first place haha! who also taught me discord to keep my characters straight bc im an old lady sometimes haha. i love her and she makes beautiful sims and you guys should take a peak over there if you havent already. she also made jamis girlfriend and someone whos yet to be introduced <3 shes amazing. ill sing her praises. and back then it was crazy i lost friends over ships before but edens always been my steadfast and i just love her to bits.

what made me come back was i missed everyone. i missed sharing with everyone. i missed writing with daisie [dustins creator] i missed reading what you guys wrote. theres nothing that sparks my creativity up like seeing you guys on my dash.ive been in and out this week so youll have to forgive me. its a strange mental health weak. i have panic attacks and theres things that happened that if i dont regulate myself ill go insane :) BUT none the less. i love seeing you guys on my dash. and i really do feel like youre all my friends.

Ok did I get halfway through answering these and then forget I was meant to be going out for dinner and had to come back to it a few days later? You'll never know! (yes). Asks from this list!

🎵 - Music

Luca had super rigorous dance teachers at Avalon, and he'd spend hours working on various routines (be they ballet, street, contemporary jazz, etc). Lots of different songs have super strong associations with particular Avalon routines, and for the life of them, they cannot break the muscle memory of assuming the starting positions when they hear them.

He'll just be out doing groceries or waiting in line for coffee and a song will come on the radio that triggers such a visceral response that his hands / arms / feet will snap into place without him thinking about it. He has absolutely spilled beverages on himself doing this.

❓ - Reciever's Choice! (So 🧡 - friendship)

YBA (Luca & Viktor's band) briefly changed their name to Toilet Jenga following a gig where the bar they were playing at had a bathroom with a sign on the door - "Inverness's smallest toilet: use at your own peril!"

It barely had room for one person. You kind of had to wedge yourself between the toilet bowl and the sink on the wall to give yourself enough room to actually shut the door behind you. Naturally, these dorks insisted on fitting all five of them in there so they could do a round of tequila shots together.

(Luca took the wedged-in spot, Angel was crouched on top of the cistern like a goblin, Cal planted himself on the lid of the toilet seat with Viktor sprawled in his lap, Ava planted her butt in the sink and kinda held herself up with her legs on the other wall. They did two shots each and then spent about twenty minutes trying to figure out how to get back out of the bathroom bc they were. So Stuck.)

(This was also the same night Viktor started crying when Luca slipped into Ghàidhlig bc he thought he'd forgotten how to speak English)

I definitely overuse adverbs and I need to put a moratorium on the word “soft” lmao. I also love a “x thing and y thing and z thing” phrase structure. Oh and any excuse to end a fic on a little one-liner or a joke of some kind, I’ll always do that.

72. What’s your favorite writing compliment you’ve gotten?

Technically already answered but I also really love when people say that my writing made them laugh or impacted them emotionally in some way💕 (and yes, horny is an emotion in this case, I do love to hear it😌)

Happy STS! If you had to throw one of your characters into another world, which one would you choose? Would they thrive or hate it?

LOL I've actually done this to a few of them (mainly making them as alt characters in FFXIV). I think the first one I did this to was Bianca, but I want to talk about Argos.

I would say Argos is closer to thriving than hating it. There are definitely things he hates about it -- namely being separated from his brother -- but, hey, life finds a way, right?

In this scenario he actually ended up married to one of my partner's transplanted OCs, so maybe I also am just seeing the thriving part because I get to see how they interact across the multiverse.

I think getting to see him play the part of father (he adopted his husband's kids) actually inspired another story in my setting focusing on him and giving him his own husband and kid in canon. So that's neat!

36. What’s their favorite thing about themselves? Atticus truly believes he is the best dressed person he knows (probably correct) and he also takes a lot of pride in sticking to his morals as a Good Vampire

37. What’s their favorite thing about their significant other, if they have one? Many many things. How hard-working he is and he passion for/dedication to Ardor, his intelligence and somewhat nihilistic philosophic nature, how direct he is (he always says what he means - even if it makes him look like a dick lol), and the way he smells

50. Do they have any insecurities? He said this to Ryan before they left the Bachelorette together: I have been alive for much much much much MUCH longer than you. I suppose after awhile I simply forgot what it’s like to live with insecurity.

59. What motivates them? He's a little bit of a hedonist. He's mostly motivated by pleasure - whatever makes him feels good or happy in the moment. But also authenticity - knowing and living his truest and most unabashed self. Keeping the people he loves happy and close to him.

60. What are some of their simple pleasures? The way a really good pen glides across a moleskine, waking up in time to watch the sunset, a bubble bath, a good glass of bloodwine

The sudden 'hah' followed by much louder ones filled the room with ease, as if the words were a joke upon the stage with jeering crowds and claps to accompany it. Yet instead it was just one being, laughing with his fall body - hand upon his gut and head thrown back as his teeth wide in display of humorous release. He couldn't stop himself from the feeling, each time he went to stop, he giggled, he snorted, sputtered and laughed some more.

If his eyes were not covered they'd be leaking tears, but without such it was nigh impossible to tell if this laughter was reflected in such gaze. Though - bodily, it was all too believable for this one to be tickled with almost too much understanding. Wheezing for a moment's breath, his hand rose to dismiss the attention in his way - fanning it as if it was a heated wind but it was enough of a shift in tensions for his lungs to return to their normal manner of breathing and his lips to slowly return to closing, hiding his teeth with occasional giggles until they fully stopped with an amused sigh.

"How right you are, how right you are." He chimed soon enough, snapping his fingers in a metallic snap to summon those with drinks to motion them towards that of the joker. "Everything is on me, your words made me laugh the best since I've been born. Please, drink up." Ah - how true it was, snakes with divinity on their tongues still spewed lies and deceit - ahh, how he couldn't wait to tear them apart.

As he settled and his mood lowered, it was almost a switch of how light and friendly his aura was turned into a pool of darkness and thick poison. Ah - ah - ah, Baibai was salty but he did his best to will the mood aside, snagging up a glass of his own liquor to drain with a hearty gulp.

because sometimes there are invisible tests and invisible rules and you're just supposed to ... know the rule. someone you thought of as a friend asks you for book recommendations, so you give her a list of like 30 books, each with a brief blurb and why you like it. later, you find out she screenshotted the list and send it out to a group chat with the note: what an absolute freak can you believe this. you saw the responses: emojis where people are rolling over laughing. too much and obsessive and actually kind of creepy in the comments. you thought you'd been doing the right thing. she'd asked, right? an invisible rule: this is what happens when you get too excited.

you aren't supposed to laugh at your own jokes, so you don't, but then you're too serious. you're not supposed to be too loud, but then people say you're too quiet. you aren't supposed to get passionate about things, but then you're shy, boring. you aren't supposed to talk too much, but then people are mad when you're not good at replying.

you fold yourself into a prettier paper crane. since you never know what is "selfish" and what is "charity," you give yourself over, fully. you'd rather be empty and over-generous - you'd rather eat your own boundaries than have even one person believe that you're mean. since you don't know what the thing is that will make them hate you, you simply scrub yourself clean of any form of roughness. if you are perfect and smiling and funny, they can love you. if you are always there for them and never admit what's happening and never mention your past and never make them uncomfortable - you can make up for it. you can earn it.

don't fuck up. they're all testing you, always. they're tolerating you. whatever secret club happened, over a summer somewhere - during some activity you didn't get to attend - everyone else just... figured it out. like they got some kind of award or examination that allowed them to know how-to-be-normal. how to fit. and for the rest of your life, you've been playing catch-up. you've been trying to prove that - haha! you get it! that the joke they're telling, the people they are, the manual they got- yeah, you've totally read it.

if you can just divide yourself in two - the lovable one, and the one that is you - you can do this. you can walk the line. they can laugh and accept you. if you are always-balanced, never burdensome, a delight to have in class, champagne and glittering and never gawky or florescent or god-forbid cringe: you can get away with it.

you stare at your therapist, whom you can make jokes with, and who laughs at your jokes, because you are so fucking good at people-pleasing. you smile at her, and she asks you how you're doing, and you automatically say i'm good, thanks, how are you? while the answer swims somewhere in your little lizard brain:

how long have you been doing this now? mastering the art of your body and mind like you're piloting a puppet. has it worked? what do you mean that all you feel is... just exhausted. pick yourself up, the tightrope has no net. after all, you're cheating, somehow, but nobody seems to know you actually flunked the test. it's working!

Happy very early Halloween have a dp idea that won't leave me alone. I also bring along the wonderfully preserved bones of the many whales that fall into the deep dark of the ocean to never be seen again as an offering.

Idea:

Playing around with the blood blossoms cause illness and even perma death in ghosts from canon; as he's effected by LIVE blood blossoms because of his halfa status interacting with the pollen, when he goes to university Danny decides to get Sam and/or Tucker to press/dry some blossoms for him and he puts them in EVERYTHING. They act as a deterrent for ghosts who want to try and bother him at university because the ghost boy is so powerful he can resist the flowers now!?

I'm thinking he commissions one of those water bottles where the glass/plastic has stuff inside of the walls of the bottle and its just pressed blood blossoms but most of the ghosts think he's drinking blood blossom infused water.

I also propose that Danny wears one of those necklaces that has a tiny pressed flower inside but it’s a dried bud of a blood blossom.

You could even grind the dried blossoms into a fine powder and incorporate it into various items like hair gel, nail polish, blush, eye shadow, or even hair dye.

With many heroes having died before and have since been revived by unconventional means, how do blood blossoms effect them?

Hi, I don't know if you're having a good day but I have a question that's always stuck in my head.

What clothes does Mycheal wear to go to the city? Does he wear a cloak to hide or something? That's my question, what I have, anyway, have a good day or night :D

Cloaks would be too dramatic and do the opposite effect of being inconspicuous I feel like, especially in the middle of a city haha! Maybe back then but definitely not now. To avoid spoilers, you'll get to see an example of what he does in Day 3 ::-)!
