He felt such deep disgust when he saw him cleaning his lips with the blood he had taken, a rage burned him and he didn't know what was stopping him from gutting him and letting his blood flow onto the pavement. His voice betrayed his rage which trembled with threats and his eyes were slit pupils and shining with animosity. "There is a way to satisfy your thirst without biting anyone…or turning them into servants." he said between his fangs which were becoming more visible perhaps because of the blood he could smell? at least he had some control over that and wasn't like this vampire in front of him. "I'm not afraid of you, I've dealt with someone much more threatening than you." he hissed ready to draw his weapons if the situation started to escalate before watching the victim get up, the doctor looked at him quickly maybe he would follow this person to give them a medical examination…. "Of course not to kill…it would be difficult to feed yourself, right? But making them become your servants when the situation allows? You are no better than the petty little vampire kings." he had strangely become calm which could be seen as disturbing before approaching the other vampire. “Maybe we can work this out.”

Joseph held his free hand in front of his chest, swiftly pulling a ring out of a chest pocket and slipping it on. Then he slipped his hand behind his back. With just a movement of his hand, he retrieved a few of what looked like bracelet charms. One for a shield, one to focus telekinesis, one to summon plants, and, well, who didn't love using one to summon fire if things went that far south?

All small, and highly refined magic. Magic that his own aura masked, even with his spell to hide part of it.

He couldn't help but laugh at Antoine's little speech against him. Oh how familiar it was. "Say what you want about me, little pup." Joseph's tone was light, unconcerned. "I know far more about methods of feeding than you do, and I know my preferences."

Then he hummed in amusement. Antoine at least understood his line of thinking on keeping humans alive. Killing off one's food source was a pretty poor idea.

As the young vampire grew closer, Joseph's gaze narrowed. His grip on the human's shoulder tightened. He didn't stop smiling, but he certainly knew what that calm approach usually meant.

A line of magic swept out a few feet in front of Joseph, creating a barrier. Antoine wouldn't be stepping any closer without formally starting a magic duel.

"Before we 'work this out,'" he continued more seriously, "answer me this: how old are you? How many centuries have you lived, how many people have you seen come and go?"

i think we should remind musicians they can absolutely make up little stories for their songs btw. it doesn’t have to be about them at all. you can invent a guy and put him in situations to music. time honoured tradition in fact.

a comic i made in about 15 hours for my school’s comic anthology. the theme was “evolution”

this is so bad but i permanently cropped the file so brutally that i can no longer edit it. whoops! also panels 4-7 were fully coloured but it looks better without for some reason. pomni (penny?) is such an ugly crier. i love my horrible failgirl accountant

So usually when an imaginary friend is a real thing in a story, it’s either a demon or a ghost or some supernatural boogeyman that probably wants to eat the kid they’ve befriended (Mama, a couple of the Paranormal Activity movies), or “imaginary friends” are just treated as a real thing in the setting, and if a child just thinks hard enough they can manifest a friend into existence (Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Happy).

And somewhere in the middle is an area where the imaginary friend in question is real and they are supernatural, but they aren’t malevolent, and they aren’t entirely honest about what they are. Like maybe they’re a fairy or a god or some kind of boggle from mythology, but they just got caught by a six year old and they don’t have time to get into it, so they just go “…Yes. I’m your imaginary friend. We haven’t met. How do you do.” And then they stick around because they do love this kid, and if you’re a boggle from mythology in the modern day good food is really hard to come by.

And at some level. That’s what I think Hobbes is.

Friendly reminder that Percy jackson - our beloved silly adorable seaweed brain - is absolutely terrifying. When he’s angry, when he’s scared, when he’s on edge - he’s not warm and fuzzy.

No other character gets that reaction from people. Jason (the sweetie) is perceived as calm and in control, nico (our favorite self-outcasted outcast) is perceived as solemn and creepy, reyna (girlboss queen slay) is perceived as confident and assertive, and annabeth (our girl) is perceived as fierce, clever, and formidable. They are all intimidating to an extent.

But not like Percy. No. Becasue even when he’s at ease, he’s described as wild and disobedient. And when he’s not at ease, even if just little bit, he’s perceived as powerful, dangerous, and scary. Someone who NOBODY wants to mess with. Nobody even questions his power. One look from him has literal gangs running the other way. One look from him has Leo so scared that he’s literally shaking, and feeling the same innate fright and alarm that he does when jason summons an ear-piercing, earth-shaking, deadly bolt of lighting.

like… HELLO??? can we all just sit on that for a moment?? good lord

One angry look from percy has people thinking one thing: Run.

Percy is, canonically, the character that people find the most frightening and intimidating.

And unless he’s in a good mood - which you better hope he is - the reality is that most of us would be completely terrified of him if we met him.

since tumblr is removing icons on the side of posts on the dashboard i think they should also remove them inside the posts

and then they should change the way the reblogs look so that each addition is below and on the left of the previous one so that it makes a sort of stairs shape

maybe they could even underline every username!

oh and they should also add vertical lines for every reblog, i think it would look cool

and if there's a ton of reblogged additions they should make the first few ones all squished and stuff to the point where every letter has it's own line and you're just reading words vertically
