Thank you for the feedback! I was thinking of putting it on the back bc in my opinion interrupts the rest of the design. Either way I want it just be the outline of bat symbol. Maybe I’ll throw up a poll later with some mock ups.

Context:

Black bat is doing the classic bat brood over Gotham city when our little ghostie decides to pop over. Since he’s acquired a free “all you can eat” batburgers pass it only seems fair to share the wealth.

Whoop! Another one bites the dust, you can’t bench me if officially done!

Context:

Phantom kicked all the ass and took all the names. The crew then shuffled back to the cave to get fixed up.

Alfred has patched up Steph and Tim, and has moved on to Jason. Getting helmet shards taken out of your face is not fun 2/10 stars at least it’s not a crowbar.

Thank you and such fun question! Im self taught so sorry if I use incorrect/weird language but here’s what I did:

I made roughly like 20 unique frames but only like 4 main poses (plus background). I abuse the hell out of the hold duration and modify tool on procreate.

Tada! how I plan things out! Sometimes they’re more or less detailed. But you can see the four main posses I think the proper term is key frames? Then I just change em slightly with the modify tool or redraw a part of them.

Any of the grey part is me using the hold duration function on procreate which just kinda duplicates the frame but more conveniently. I also drew over his hair in this frame to get it to flop (idk if it’s super noticeable lol)

Hope that answer your question! Let me know if y’all want me to post something more detailed or some of the time lapses (tho animations looks a bit odd in those )

They still think Phantom is a low level meta with maybe a bit of extra strength/ invisibly, who is only now getting into the vigilante busy. Only Red Hood knows the extend of phantom’s abilities (he made a list), experience, and that he’s nigh indestructible.

Phantom is used to fighting people that know his every weakness, have years of experience over him, and the same/or stronger powers than him. Despite that he kept coming out on top and was only getting stronger. He only got caught by GIW bc like little Jason he trusted someone who was suppose to protect him and got betrayed. He can take gang of humans who have never even heard of something like him.

And no matter how much Phantom jokes that he’s the “best sidekick ever” him and RH are partners in this. So If Red Hood want to be called when Phantom needs help he has to be willing to call as well. RH is doing everything he can to live up to the undying trust Phantom gives him.

As said at the beginning this series Phantom isn’t a Robin. He doesn’t need to be taught how to fly, he just needs somewhere safe to land.

Omg this is such a cute ask!!!

I’ve always had the headcanon that Danny eyes literally get starry when he gets excited and when he’s in his ghost form it’s even more noticeable.

And yes those are the pants from the ice cream scene they are his favorite.

Okay so context:

This isn’t super long after they met in the alley, so Danny is still very banged up. He already feels guilty for taking advantage of Jason kindness since they’re still pretty much complete strangers. Danny is also waiting for the other shoe to drop and Jason to get sick of him or try to kill him (ya know like most people do).

Jason on the other hand is getting six traumatic flashbacks to his own childhood per day with just how much Danny reminds him of himself fresh off the street (sassy, mistrusting, with the world on their shoulders). He’s mostly focused on getting Danny comfortable, tracking down the GIW, and keeping the alley safe. He was under the impression that Danny would bite him if he tried any physical comfort and was not prepared for the hug at all. Jasons poor touched starved ass blue screens so hard he almost has a heart attack.

When he realizes Danny is freaking out it’s already a bit too late so hugs don’t really become a staple until mucccchhhhh later.

The rest of the day all Jason is thinking is He’s going to have such a hard time giving up this kid once all the GIW stuff is sorted out.

Little does he know…

Danny: oh no I fucked up. I def crossed his boundaries. I shouldn’t have done that. I’m gonna get kicked to the streets. I ruined everything like aways do———

Do they have a ship name? I think they’re really cute together even just as friends. I mean they’re both brought up by some morally dubious people and then had to unlearn a lot to fit in with their new family.

Part intermission of You can’t bench me!

Just a little in-between the next one has cooler animation

Fun fact this was painful to upload to tumblr bc it kept saying the file was too large even tho it wasn’t. So this was brought to you thru spite and dark magic.

Context:

The girlies are back on the rooftop and the bet is still on!

Who know Red Hood better! :

Phantom on one side is currently lives with Red Hood and clearly is very trusted by him. He gets to sees a side to RH that many people aren’t privy to.

But also is a child that Red Hood is probably shielding from the worst stuff. Phantom also has a bit of hero worship for RH as he did save Phantom from GIW and adopt him. So he is quite biased.

On the other side RR and Spoiler are train bat detectives and are used to bat vigilante tomfoolery. They have also known/worked with Red Hood for longer.

But Red Hood famously doesn’t tell the batfam shit, and has surprised them in the past.
