Snippets of these last weeks.
Revising as much as I can for the the SI exam. Already on week 10 of the material, hopefully I'll finish everything by Friday, so I have time to solve some past exams. There are so many algorithms and search trees on my mind, I'm afraid my brain will just start bleeding information before the exam. We can bring any written material we want, I have 50 pages of notes and another 50 pages of exercises so far 😅
Went to a book fair and bought more books than planned, oops... Still want to go again, to buy some more of Agatha Christie's novels, I miss the mystery, and when I'm in a reading slump, she always helps.
I've been working out at home, I should go to the gym since I'm paying every month, but it's just easier and more fun when I can dance while resting :')
Anyway, made some noodles with tofu and veggies, ate some chocolates, and my niece is coming over later, so it's been a good day so far :)
Hope everyone is taking care of themselves this finals season 💛

Last Cartridge of Insulin
This is an URGENT REQUEST as I cannot go a day without insulin. Currently I am unemployed through no fault of my own. I do not have insurance so I will have to use GoodRx. My insulin is called Afrezza. It costs around $450-$490 depending on the pharmacy I go to.
Goal: $450
CA: $HushEmu
Tumblr media
Currently I cannot drive because my only pair of perscription glasses are broken. So I will also need help with ubers. Please.
I’d like to stress that not taking insulin daily is deadly. This is a medical emergency. Begging for this request to be filled.
Informative read:

So python is apparently unable to handle if-statement with more than 2996 elif’s, which is fair, however, it’s really limiting my implentation of an is_even function
Tumblr media
Any ideas on how I can work around this?

I made a beginner coding resource! 👩🏾‍💻💗
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hiya! 👩🏾‍💻💗
I made a coding infographic/slideshow for anyone getting into coding and are stuck! I'm seeing a lot of new codeblr blogs coming up recently and they're all beginners and I have been getting a lot of asks which basically all ask "I'm new to coding, how do I start?", so I decided to make this at 1am in the morning real quick! 🥲😭
I genuinely hope that this resource proves beneficial to someone out there. And remember, if you find yourself still facing challenges or need assistance with anything else, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help! ✨

I come across a great site to learn coding, I don’t see a lot of people talking about it tho. (There is an app too!)
This site has python 101 for free (and many another, tho course from 102 and up aren’t free)
Tumblr media
Its has a cute design and great at explaining the small details that some teachers don’t explain ✨
Tumblr media
There is also many exercises in each chapter of the lessons.
You can check more about it from there official site ✨
Happy coding you all 🫶🏻

I will be homeless in less than 1 hours
Tumblr media
I have to stress that my apartment wants me gone. Why you might ask? Because I’m one of the few tenants in the entire apartment complex that pays $1300 for rent meanwhile everyone else pays $1800-$1900. They want me out to the extent they don’t accept any late fees from me, but accepts from other residents. I asked the apartment manager why, she couldn’t give me answer. It’s the norm to have until the 5th of the month to pay rent but not for me.
Goal: $775
CA: $HushEmu
I have to stress I’m not lazy or useless. I had a job despite having multiple disabilities. I’m not asking for a cookie or a pat on the back but its not easy. One small inconvenience really can set you up to be on the streets. Especially if you’re not privileged to have a good paying job with benefits. Like INSURANCE. Or parents that give a crap about you.
In my case the catalyst for this was simply my glasses breaking that snowballed me to eviction. I am legally blind and I have to thank diabetes for that. I cannot see without my glasses so it would be quite literally deadly for me to be on the roads. Ultimately I lost my job from “job abandonment”
I am asking for community support to stay housed. While I make this unfortunate transition. All I have is this community. There are ways beyond financial support that can help me. $1-$2 makes a significant impact
You can:
• Post on my behalf on all your platforms
• Urge your moots with large followings to reblog/retweet my posts
• You can interact fully with my posts to add traction
With the state of the world as it is right now. We need less apathy and more empathy. Please don’t ignore.

It’s April 1st! You know what that means: time to do things that are both real AND ridiculous, just to keep your followers on their toes.
Introducing.... a company. A whole new company.
Tumblr media
✨🍋FujoCoded, LLC✨
Last year, we took a bold step by fundraising for a fan-friendly guide to modern web development. Today, it’s time for our next step: establishing a sustainable way forward by formalizing our ongoing work under a real company with an official mission!
FujoCoded LLC's mission is to build a kinder, more diverse, more collaborative–and unapologetically weirder–internet.
Our main focuses:
Education, which gives people the skills to be the change they want to see on the web.
Software, which gives people the tools to make such changes.
Community, which gives people the strength, structure, and support to see those changes through.
...but just like last year, to get this new company started right we need your help. You could even say we NEED YOUR SEED….
💦💦💦🌱💦💦💦🌱💦💦💦🌱
…money 😉
Check out and donate to our campaign on BackerKit and learn even more about us here on our website.

How to learn: HTML | Resources ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sunday 10th September 2023
I have come back with a new resource I've made! This time about how to learn HTML! I'm starting from the basics right now and working my way up of 'how to learn' info resources!😅
I've made a HTML resource in the past (one | two) but this one is a bit more detailed and has tips of how I studied HTML. I use HTML on the daily so though I would share my knowledge with more people. Again, just like my previous resource "Starting your coding journey", this is more targeted towards absolute beginners or for people who want to learn how to customise their Tumblr blog/Neocite! 👩🏾‍💻
Anyhoo, check it out and let me know what you think: LINK

habits i should try to avoid burnout 🍵
to varying degrees, every semester i burn out. this one may become the worst i've had in recent years if i'm not careful bc of the way i'm trying to pack my schedule. anxiety has been unexpectedly high this week and it's only week 1! 😖
🐢 self-care:
get 8-10 hours of sleep daily
daily exercise - enough to get me physically tired enough to sleep
meditate AND journal daily
give myself at least one day a week to chill (probably will be a "reset" day bc i can't just vegetable and expect my brain to not self-destruct. for now, let's try saturdays.)
more quality time with the people i love throughout the week
fresh air + sunlight when the weather isn't too inhospitable
no phone mornings (i quickly fell out of the habit but it did wonders for my mental health 😭)
🐰 time management:
set reasonable goals. don't kid yourself into thinking you can complete everything on a to-do list you doubt you can finish even half of - if you doubt, you're probably right.
take plenty of breaks throughout the day
don't procrastinate bc procrastination's consequences will definitely lead to burnout. on the days you just don't feel it, give yourself a reason to study that speaks to you. what is demotivating you? give yourself the encouragement you need to not give up.
vary the order in which you do things so your days feel like they have more variety (e.g. vary the order in which you work on different subjects every day)
study based on energy level (i.e. try to study high-energy subjects when you have high energy and low-energy subjects when you have low energy. stop for the day when you're just not there anymore, don't try to push it.) this doesn't have to be contradictory to the point above cuz i still have lots of choices for what to do and my energy sometimes fluctuates like crazy throughout a single day.
