Literally fuck all of you, a trans woman gets killed and the entire website gets flooded with information about it. And then a teenage trans guy who got kicked out of his parents house for being trans gets murdered on a date by a transphobe, and the ONLY people I see talking about it are transmen. Most of the posts about this kid have under 100 notes. Will someone PLEASE care about transmen? And the news is already burying it as "violence against women". I've already seen one of the stupid fucking TERFS on this website say they're glad he got killed because "all men" or whatever

Hi I'm Ghost and I have a problem with making twin au's (this is my third one yet, good lord...)

This got stuck in my head few months ago and I'm currently actually... 20k words deep in a fic about it,,, who knows if that'll ever see the light of day, because the concept really got me. Like from an introspection standpoint, because I think Ace's self worth would be more complicated if Sabo was his biological brother. It's something really fun to explore and I'm finally going to talk about it on here

Wouldn’t it be nice if Zoro was emotionally intelligent enough to compliment someone for their compassion? But no, that’s not what he admires about people. He admires strength, courage, and tenacity, so that’s what he’s praising Vivi for.

Zoro has made similar remarks praising Vivi for being brave and proactive, so this fits in with his other comments. This phrase is also the sort of thing he would say to an especially challenging or audacious opponent, so it shows Zoro respects her on what is, for him, the highest level.

This sort of translation choice really pisses me off, because it weakens the female characters both within the story and for readers. This chapter heavily emphasized the incredible weight of leadership that Vivi is carrying. Her choice is both pragmatic and compassionate, two traits that the story emphasizes are necessary to be a good leader. But changing the line to praise her for being nice and sweet and caring means highlighting characteristics that are usually given to passive “damsel” characters who sit in the background and dispense uplifting adages to the boys who are the ones to go off and actually do stuff. It makes it seem like the boys around her value Vivi for being supportive, not proactive, which in turn leads readers to view her in that light as well.

Sidenote but that did make me realize how when we see the Impel Down prisoners in Level 4, Oda does semi-consistently draw everyone sweating their asses off, which makes sense, since they're in the Inferno Hell. It is focken hot in there.

Like to be fair there are a few characters who don't seem to be bothered by the heat of Level 4 either (Iva-chan, Sadi-chan etc)

But when you considder the sheer amount of fucking layers this man is wearing, like. You know what. Crocodile being completely heat-resistant up to 1700 Celcius makes perfect sense to me, I'll add that to my worldview, it's canon to me now.

it’s so wild being a fan of wwdits, ofmd, and good omens bc they’re kinda a trio of fandoms similar to superwholock (though much chiller) and yet the love they get from their networks is so different. like wwdits and good omens are both throughly loved and cherished by fx and amazon prime (at least as it seems by the effort they put into marketing), but hbo fucking detests ofmd and has done the absolute fucking most to pretend it straight up doesn’t exist

to be quite honest klance with altean marks lance is actually 10000x worse than allurance. it’s like the purest distillation of “yeah allura was there and she mattered but only as she relates to klance.” at least with allurance she’s an actual character & an active agent in the story (albeit an ooc one, in my opinion). you people drawing your post season 8 old man happily married klances where lance has the mark of his dead girlfriend—a mark he literally only got bc allura was killed off by the writers in a truly astonishing act of misogynynoir—is like…laughably obtuse. i’m not saying it is racist or immoral to do this but i am saying that the combination of factors surrounding it should make you kind of uncomfortable and embarrassed and you could simply choose to. Not.

Crossover Idea 2

Maybe a bit crazy, I’m a bit sleep deprived.  Bruce Wayne is a scruffy, chronically tired, nocturnal black haired dad with adoption problems who pretends he doesn’t care but cares far too much. Who else is like that? Eraserhead.  Now this could go a few different ways

A] Bruce reincarnates as Aizawa Shouta, or Aizawa reincarnates as Bruce Wayne, which would be utterly hilarious because combining the two would be slightly OP in most situations B] Bruce secretly has an erasure ability, which would honestly be perfect for his contingency plans. How much easier it’d be if he had the comfort of ‘I can always erase their powers’ if they betrayed him C] Bruce & Aizawa are rich buddies (If you look at the clothing child Aizawa was wearing in art, it’s some of the most expensive so) who half grew up together before one moved, but keep in touch

y'know one might think that in a fandom where every single character is bi or pan, people would be at least kinda normal about bi people. but god, even here, even now, there's just.... so much casual biphobia everywhere.

Why is Nami so hard to draw???? I really struggled with this one!! In the end, though, I think this feels pretty much like her, and I'm pleased with it!

I had painted the ocean when we visited the coast a few weeks ago, so it was fun to reference my own sketchbook for the background :)
