Can we pretty please talk about how no matter which character's pov it is, the first time we see them meet Octavian he's always described as tall. Percy described Jason (6'0) as a couple of inces taller than himself, but for Octavian he didn't bother making a comparison, he just said "Tall" so now I'm imagining Octavian to be Tall tall. Taller than everyone. Like, almost 7'0 tall, of not exactly 7'0. Like.

But also he's tall and skinny and weird.

And Jason is kinda upset that Octavian is taller than him and he tries to make himself look taller when standing beside Octavian and they end up fighting about it kinda toddlers.

Reyna is the only adult person here and she told me to tell you to send help.

August 18th, 2023 will be Percy’s 30th birthday. I haven’t finished Tower of Nero but I still want to imagine what some of them are up to.

Percy - Swimming instructor at a school for disadvantaged kids. Annnabeth - Architect gaining renown for delivering any design imaginable.

Grover - Traveling lord of the wild reviving nature in concrete jungles. Juniper - Now runs the Council of Cloven Elders.

Carter - Archaeologist specializing in Ancient Egypt. Sadie - Heavily anti-colonial Egyptology prof. at King’s College London.

Reyna - Attending college in New Rome after having left the Hunters for love.

i feel like for the longest time this fandom has taken leo bringing up reyna's initial kind of like a subtle nod to lady gaga (ra ra ah ah ah, roma roma ma, ga ga uh la la) but it's... not about that. both reyna and leo speak spanish. in spanish "rara" means weird. this boy straight up looks a preator in the eye and asks if she's aware her given name (the one she tries so hard to hide) quite literally means she's an outcast. when leo questions reyna on her initials being "rara" he's calling her a weirdo and it's important to me that you understand that.

Thalia X Reyna Headcanons-

•They have movie nights a lot

•Thalia likes to do Reynas hair, its just so soft and silky

•They go out to cute little cafes and they always get hot chocolate

•They always end up cuddling on their couch or bed

•They go on little roadtrips every now and then

•For their first date, Thalia took her to starbucks

•On the second date, Reyna took her to a meteor show, and when it was over they went home, got a chinese takeaway and watched a movie

•Matching clothes

•Reyna looks like a monster from a Japanese horror movie without her morning coffee, so Thalia makes suyre its ready beforehand
