ok so now i'm just thinking about how, like, lu guang has to feign nonchalance this whole time. he has to pretend to banter with cxs, to get absorbed in a book, to clean the studio. to live a life, knowing the whole time anything could change, knowing the whole time that cxs will die, knowing when that is, and just
god

One of my favorite things about being in my early 20s is that I'm starting to understand that I can use things not for their intended purpose. When you're growing up, you get told what an object is and what its intended purpose is, and as a kid/teen, I just accepted all of it at face value. As a young adult it's finally clicking that I can simply do things a different way if it makes me happier. Sure, I was taught that you stand to take a shower, but there's nothing stopping me from just sitting if I don't feel like it, ya know? I might have always had my medication in the kitchen, but if I'm no longer remembering to take it, I can just move it somewhere where I can remember. You don't have to specifically store all food in the kitchen, you can have a little snack cart or snack station in another room.
The downside to finding out the various ways you can use objects is that you develop habits that would probably go on an r/relationships post where everyone says you're a little freak.

It's a beautiful day, and your evil double is asleep in the wildflowers. Weird how that happens sometimes.

okay this is very random but i thought about a plant you might like because it has the same name as you 😊
this is the ghost pipe plant! i took these pics back in the summer when i was working for a research team.
it’s a weird, waxy-textured plant because it doesn’t have any chlorophyll (the stuff that makes plants green)! chlorophyll is where photosynthesis occurs for a plant to make sugar to survive. but the ghost pipe is able to live through parasitism of tree roots!!!
it’s considered a rare plant because most people don’t know where to find it but indigenous peoples in north america use the ghost pipe to treat pain (it has salicylic acid like willow bark which was traditionally used to make aspirin) and mental health disorders.
sad thing is though if you try to press it, the brilliant white turns pure black.
anyways, i hope this was cool! maybe brought you a smile!!!
plants are so neat i used to be So into them !! the middle school and high school i went to had environmental science classes?? they were my Favourite. this plant looks So neat, n it looks like the colour basically acts like a bruise !!! absolutely sad u cant press it, its So neat. itty bitty lil thing as well .
thank u sm for showing me !!! this stuff Is cool to me :')

my housemate’s friend is staying with her puppy - sketch’s mum, stormcloud - for the whole week ! i am sad and sympathetic because the reason she’s staying is that her housemate (in the process of moving out) sounds like a fucking nightmare and doesn’t ever clean up after her non-toilet trained elderly dog and is refusing to pay rent (“just take it out of my bond sweetie”). but on the other hand i’m happy that she and storm will be here all week ! partly because sketch will be happy and occupied and partly because i will have some company but also because she’s a really lovely person and i like spending time with her !

it still boggles my mind that if I had applied solo for this mortgage I would've been rejected, even though I have good credit & stuff. I could "afford" a $1700 apartment smacking of landlord special & mold & a giant fucking hole in my ceiling they never fixed & two broken kitchen lights they never fixed & a balloon of paint in a different spot on the ceiling that was full of water because the apartment was water damaged n run down anyway before I moved in but I apparently couldn't afford a $560 mortgage payment for a decent, kinda old ish house but clean & not hazardous. okay silly ass
