I feel so weird when I see posts of chronically ill people talking about grieving who they were before their diagnosis. For me, although I still don’t have a diagnosis for my illness there is no before, I was never really able to do the things other kids did, there is no before I was sick, it has always been all wrong and wonky anyways,
