When he took him in, giving him food and shelter and love, he could never expect the overwhelming feeling of protectiveness growing in him

And then the arguments started, and they both get angry and both are too stubborn
then leaf subsides to leaf
Jason runs to a different country, insistent on finding the truth, to save his mom, only to be met with a fate too cruel for a soul too kind
so Eden sank to grief,

after everyone becomes more acquainted, it’s hard to remember that damian and cass grew up being trained from birth
because after a while at the manor, they are able to be children, their walls crumbling down
but it’s a cold feeling when they are reminded
when they find damian awake at three am, eyes red and distant, gaze set on the wall. bruce reaches for the cup of cold tea resting in his sons grip, when he finds it broken and shards being thrown at him. damian apologizes and retreats to his room, not wanting to talk the next day
or when they find cass down in the cave, still halfway in uniform, pounding away at a punching bag, two others are discarded in ragged heaps on the ground, it take coaxing from both alfred and jason to get her to relax, to try and forget the blood on her hands, forever tainted

Hi I saw your tags about having a chronic illness that makes you throw up for days and is impacted by anxiety - if it’s not too personal can I ask what illness that is? I’m having similar symptoms and we haven’t narrowed down a diagnosis yet. Obviously no worries if you don’t want to share your medical info
oh 100%!! it needs to be talked about because it never is, and i had to go to three different specialists before i was diagnosed because of how weird my personal symptoms and conditions are
it’s called cyclic vomiting syndrome or cvs, it’s impacts around 2% of the population and is more commonly found in young kids, which is why at my grown ass age ppl were confused
some my symptoms are nausea and vomiting (obvi) but also headaches, really bad heat flashes/fevers, and right before a bad episode happens, i get filled with sense of impending doom, which i figured out is a genuine medical term, and it explains my ‘random’ panic attacks
but please look into it!! or if you have any questions my dms are open but pls know i’m not a doctor just someone with a bajillion stomach issues
