Summary:

Gotham was built on a cave system. Batman has referenced a Bat Cave before. Tim is currently in the cave system. He is in the cave system that he entered from Drake Manor. Drake Manor is right next door to where Batman- The Bruce Wayne- lives. Holy Cavern, Batman! Tim had just accidentally wandered into the Bat Cave’s cave system. OR Tim, having found a weird hole after a storm, decides to go exploring ignoring the fact that This Is Gotham and They Probably Have Cursed Stuff Down There. Luckily, it was just a cave system that spans the entire Gotham underground. Unluckily, Tim is a very curious child.

looking at this map i couldn’t help but notice that the perilous lands are dividing the south from the north of albion. assuming all of elmet is to say perilous and untraversable, could the northern kingdoms be more pro-magic than the southern ones?? like i guess technically they could get there by water, but i’d see that from the coast kingdoms, not camelot. idk i’m just imagining sometime after the fisher king dies and he isn’t tied to the land anymore which allows it to heal somewhat and arthur and them are finally able to travel north and its just magic galore.

As im sure yo can see, I've been a bot (a lot) lacking in my Weekly ROundup. between a broken and dislocatted wrist (well done me) and just life in general, well I havnt done it. So really, how was Bilbo supposed to refuse a quest that would not only allow him to travel the lands that all hobbits loved but also vanquish one of the greatest evils still on Middle Earth? He was supposed to say no to cleansing forests and vanquishing darkness and seeing new trees? Not going was never an option.

The more evil they met along the way, the better.

Hobbits were giving a gift by Yavanna. They know 24 hours before their time is up.

This is Bilbo's time to say goodbye to all those he loves and all who love him. Hitting Him in the Heart (Bilbo/Thorin, last weeks @flashfictionfridayofficial, plese mind the tags) Summary: Thorin hasn't recovered from the Dragon sickness, he is just able to trick everyone but his hobbit.

Bilbo takes matters in his own hands to save his dwarves and Erebor. He will save them the only way he can.

Touching me, touching you (There is nothing magic can’t do) (Sirius/Remus, for the @marauderswithpalestineproject prompt, its smutty) Summary: Remus is away with work, Sirius has had a stressful day.

Thank fully Remus as a suprise and a new way to be intimate with Sirus, even if they are on opposite sides of the world. It's not goodbye, it's not forever, it's just not right now (Sirius/Remus, for the @wolfstarbingo2024, please mind the tags) Summary: Sirius is a disaster of a man and he needs help. He refuses to get it though and Remus is bearing the brunt of that until he decides that he can't any longer. Everything has a golden hue, everything but you (Bilbo'Thorin, for this weeks FFF< again, please mind the tags) Summary: Thorin is gold sick, he is possessive and angry. Especially when he finds out his Golden One isn't beside him in the treasury where he belongs. And there we have it, I'm now all caught up, have a good week all <3

Hiya! :) Aziraphale who we know likes to do magic acts asks Crowley, 'Would you like to see the world's fastest magic trick?' and before Crowley manages to answer, the angel says, 'And would you like to see it again?' - implying that he already did the world's fastest magic trick just after finishing his previous question and it was so quick that it's already over - but he didn't do anything, he is just teasing Crowley.

Hope the explanation helps ❤, it's a very silly thing, but I like making these A&C silly posts because I always feel like mentally donning Crowley's fuck shit up jacket and making shennanigans :).

John Zatara has been alive since the 1940's but it's never been mentioned whether he lived through all those years or if some time travel shennanigans pushed him to the present. Does the DCU audience assume that his youthful appearance is a magic trick? Has Giovanni ever watched a human friend of his grow old and die?

Also, even though Giovanni was introduced in one of the features in Action Comics #1, his own adventures were self contained and initially may not have been set in a shared universe at all. I haven't read all of Zatara's appearances yet so it's possible I haven't stumbled during the Golden Age that showed Zatara teaming up with Golden Age heroes. Sure, we have gotten flashback stories that show him meeting other Golden Age heroes during WW2 but those stories were published years after the Golden Age ended and Zatanna was introduced not when WW2 was happening. It's just a hunch for now, but it's possible Zatara was a self contained hero of his own universe who got incorporated into the DCU after the introduction of his daughter.

lancelot is another very tragic character. he lost his parents very young, he couldn't be a knight because he wasn't a noble, he was banished from camelot, he fell in love with gwen but it wasn't requited in the end, and when he was finally able to become a knight, it was for a very short time because he then sacrificied himself to protect merlin and save camelot. his name was then tainted when morgana used him as a puppet. i'm just. sad. so so much potential for his character, so many ridiculous shennanigans he and merlin could have had together, the fact that he was one of the first and only people to know about merlin's magic and they couldn't spend that much time together...........his death affected merlin more than anyone, i can tell you that for sure

i actually had a dream where lancelot didn't die in The Darkest Hour, and he spent more time with merlin and they realized they were in love and it was so cool asdfghjklñ

Aside from brains, I kind of want to see Sherlock as a kind of psychic and whenever he deduces something, numbers, letters and stuff appears (BBC Sherlock reference).

39. Which adaptation of Sherlock Holmes is your favorite so far?

I always have a softspot for Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock, but Yuumori Sherlock has got to be my favorite. Other than that, I also loved Basil of Bakerstreet (fun fact, this was my first official movie in the SH Universe).

You’re a Mage, all your magic has a theme and that theme can be literally anything you want.

What’s the setting?

Earth but most people can’t recognise real magic. They’re compelled to either ignore it, rationalise it, or forget about the encounter entirely. That way there doesn’t have to be a big dumb conspiracy to cover it up.

People with The Sight can see the world for what it is, weirdness and all. You might’ve been raised/taught by people in the know. Or you might’ve randomly acquired your powers one day. Anyone from any background is allowed to be a Mage.

What’s the tone?

Shennanigans and angst.

Care to elaborate?

Let’s say for example you were playing Bob the Deception Mage. You could avoid attacks by insisting “You missed” so hard that it overwrites reality. You could summon mythological tricksters like Loki, Puck, or a Kitsune. Or you could tell someone that they’re worthless and unloveable, and actually make them believe it.

Magic is powerful in this game. But much of that power comes from how creatively you’re able to use it. And because of that freedom the PCs can be whimsical, badass, ridiculous, or absolutely terrifying. Sometimes all in the space of a single session. And that’s just part of the fun.

BEING A MAGE ISN’T ENOUGH. I WANT TO GET WEIRD.

I see you and I love you. Nothing says you have to play a human. I’ve seen people play demons, vampires, mothmen, talking animals, and even a shapeshifting ball of slime. One of the example PCs in the book is a sentient car called Jeff (he’s terrifying, and I would die for him).

Is it complicated?

Hell no! Just roll a d10 and add a number from 1-5. It’s a game that’s easy to learn but rewarding to master.
