I made my good Durge character a Paladin of Lathander and I like to imagine her backstory going something like this:
Lathander: Hey… So… Bhaal.
Bhaal: What do you want?
Lathander: I was just wondering… Are you gonna do anything about that?
Bhaal: No. Why would I?
Lathander: That is your daughter being lobotomized!?!?!
Bhaal: And that’s my other daughter doing the lobotomy. What’s your point?
Lathander: …I don’t even know why I asked. Look, I’m confiscating this one. You can have her back if she starts murdering again. Which she won’t. Because she’s my Oath of Ancients paladin now.
Bhaal: Oh, oh we’ll see about that.
And thus began the bloodiest custody battle Faerûn has ever known.
So the boy is actually an NPC you can find in the Bhaal temple, which inspired this whole thing.
I also don’t really know a good way to end it lol so I have no idea if this makes sense, but oh well. I might add some extra pages later but for now consider it finished.
This has been a good exercise for me to get back into drawing (it’s been a long time) and try and find/discover my drawing style. That explains why all the panels are inconsistent btw, I was experimenting a lot, also I have no idea how to make comic characters look consistent 😂
“murdering your sister and not subscribing to ur dad’s dumb inheritance and dying and then somehow getting that death uno-reversed by jergal a shakespearean skeleton is actually the sexiest thing you can do. trust me”
- tavelyn, on why her and her two boyfriends should make out directly after killing orin (and getting offed by her dad-god)
