Dick trying to get Tim and Damian to get along so he makes them explain something they like to the other person. Tim shows Damian memes. Damian shows Tim the kind of photographs he uses to reference his art.
Two weeks later Damian has created a video montage of every one of Red Robin's fails set to a parody of Loca the Pug's song. Tim hands over a picture of every stupid face Damian pulled in the last two weeks to 'reference'.
Dick just dies laughing at them because they are the same kid in different flavors.

ahhhhHhhh I'm gonna forget these so I have to write it down somewhere before I do
Concept of Buck getting hurt on a call, as he does, and it being semi serious in that he's broken his collarbone and having a very bad time. He's on the good drugs, in his usual room, and Tommy comes to see him, summoned by Hen, who's the only one who remembered to call him.
Tommy knows how this goes, he's not unfamiliar with the dangers of firefighting. Still, he hasn't dated someone on the force before, and he realizes that it shakes you more than you can ever realize. He keeps a bright smile on his face as he coos over Buck, promising that he'll come to pick Buck up and take him home, care for him while he's incapacitated.
When he leaves the room, he lets out a shaky breath and settles on the bench across from Buck's room, where Eddie's already taken up camp.
"he's so brave" Tommy says quietly.
"he always has to be" Eddie says, reminding Tommy unsubtly how often Eddie sits vigil for Buck.
"does he have any sick day favorites?" The question is a concession, that Tommy admits Eddie knows Buck better than him.
"chicken soup"
"okay, sure I can handle that"
Eddie glances to the side, realizes quickly that Buck won't be at Maddie's to recuperate, or even the Diaz's couch bed that's been upgraded simply because of how often Buck crashes there.
He'll be in his loft, being tended to by a boyfriend who is willing and capable of taking care of him, who is making every effort to make this recovery easy for him.
He sighs shakily. Looks away from Tommy and back to Buck, through the window and sleeping deeply.
"I'll send you the recipe," Eddie finally replies.
Before Tommy can thank him, he adds "it's my grandmother's special"
He's not going down with a fight.

okay but, why did Tommy kiss Buck?
I mean we know why, look at his little face, but- what did Tommy know of Buck?
Tommy didn't spend all that time flying to Vegas and sparring and working on cars and playing basketball with Buck- he did that with Eddie.
He did that with Christopher.
Between the two Diaz boys, Tommy clearly heard enough of Buck to like him, and well he'd seen him in action and his dorky humor- so the effusive praise and constant discussion of Buck from Eddie and Chris cinched the deal when he realized that Buck was single and clearly trying his best baby bi flirting with him.
Anyways, the only person Eddie has to blame for losing Buck to Tommy is himself 🤣

Damian participating in Ramadan
because I want to put my blorbo into my situations
-Damian claims that he should be allowed to go on patrol still, but does acquiesce to only doing recon or protective missions.
-Sleeps almost all day except to wake up for prayers, and then like an hour before sunset to ready himself for his day (a la Saudi Ramadan)
-Goes on patrol after Taraweeh, hides his costume under his thobe- everyone in the mosque can definitely see it but they’re all ignoring it.
-Eats suhoor right after patrol, Alfred keeps it warm and ready just as he arrives
-Everyone else is very conscious of their eating during the month, literally running out of rooms if Damian is in it and they’re eating- Damian really doesn’t care though
-WE has a big employee Iftaar Gala- the one and only party that Damian is ever excited to go to
-WE also does open Iftaar every night for employees and anyone on the street who can use an extra meal at night
-Damian makes a concentrated effort to be nicer to his brothers during this month, which got more than a few concerned responses the first year, but now they all just appreciate the break and try not to antagonize him too much
-Once, there was an all hands situation before sunset and Damian insisted on helping- he had to take a second to break his fast, and then it took another half hour to explain to Riddler what he was doing; “Not even water???” “...No, not even water.”
-Bruce keeps emergency rations in his belt at all times, but he’s a little extra prepared during Ramadan in case they lose track of time or get caught up in a fight so that Damian can still have a Suhoor meal.

No, I'm not saying I don't love Kinley but the way this entire episode is primed to show Buck being jealous of Eddie for spending time with Tommy is perfect!
except for the gym scene- Tommy is nowhere near that except for the ASSUMPTION that he's on the phone with Eddie- who's attention were you trying to get THERE Buckley?

WHAT goes on at the madney wedding????
Tumblr media
my observations as an expert (went to detective academy when I was 10):
Eddie(named such for my own ease) is Shirtless: my first instinct says that Buck's shirt got dirty first. that suit calls for a button-up not a t-shirt, but Eddie could definitely have worn a t-shirt and then when WHATEVER went down- Eddie gave his (it might even just be his undershirt??) up and Buck got that one dirty too.
Wine Stain on Buck: there's a patch on his leg, and then also a splatter on his shirt, but they're not connected in a way that seems to be congruent?? either the costuming department stained them separately, or buck was sitting when he got splashed (maybe a wine glass fell over into his lap) but more iMPORTANTLY
Wine Stain on Eddie's Pocket: EDDIE WAS SITTING NEXT TO BUCK WHEN THIS WINE INCIDENT HAPPENED! maybe even he was sitting next to buck instead of Natalia who got mad and - sorry I got distracted by my delusions, but yeah, Eddie only has that splash on his left pocket so either he hugged buck who's shirt was covered in wine or he was sitting next to him and got splashed
Burn on Buck's Pant: what is a emergency personnel's wedding without a little emergency? I think we've likely got a small fire at the wedding in some form, not a major deal? but something enough to spook maddie (which is a whole other can of worms that I believe is gonna happen)
Food(?) Stains on Buck's Shirt and Pant: the spread of these stains is BEWILDERING. like, one patch at the shoulder, one at the leg?? how does that even happen. I'm putting it down to Buck gets bumped into by someone holding food, but the way the stain is on a separate layer of his (Eddie's) shirt and the jacket is inch resting... we will have to see
General Black Scuffs on Both: first off. Eddie's are on his knees. I had to take fifteen minutes to look at that and be normal. this is a family hour show they would never do that. anyways, moving on. I have seen similar stains before, and most commonly it comes with trying to portray grease? like from cars and things? so these may be from a broken down car that the two of them work together to try and fix- maybe the post-wedding getaway car thing isn't working? but it probably comes pre-wedding, if my guess is right.
tragically, this means that Ryan's hair wasn't a delicious, delicious choice, it's the result of whatever drama they just went through at the wedding, but also a win because that hair's gonna be on the show for us to replay again and again!!
like I said, I am a fully qualified expert and these are all things that I am guessing on based on my limited understanding- but also if im right you all owe me a soda
please let every one of those stains be from a dramatic near death Buddie confession 🙏🏼

Tim Drake annnnnd Tools and People
zitaaaaaa my favorite guy bringing me my favorite blorbo!!
Okay, so it's Tim, so we hurt him, OBVIOUSLY. in this edition, I think I'd go with something more subtle though. Bruce and Tim post the return from the time stream, and they're in the cave. Bruce is slowly settling back into the family, and by that I mean disrupting all the routines and patterns everyone had finally relaxed into. Tim is still on edge with Dick after their arguments before he left for the desert, but they're okay now.
Except when Bruce goes on patrol, and Tim hands him a grapple gun, and Bruce stops before he puts it in his belt. Bruce steps back, as if Tim won't see him check the hook, the trigger, the line. As if he doesn't trust the grapple that Tim handed him, because he didn't check the batarangs Damian stuck in his belt, or the smoke bombs Dick threw at him.
After everything. It's Tim that Bruce doesn't trust.
