Watched the The Batman animated series, not to be confused with Batman: The Animated Series, and proceeded to lose my mind at this episode, hello??? Amazing VA, hearing him laugh was both incredible, unhinged, delightful and creepy in the best way possible. 100/10!!!
Somewhere out there in the Multiverse exist a pair of alternate universes where Ahsoka Tano is raised by Bruce Wayne to become Robin meanwhile Jason Todd becomes Anakin Skywalker's padawan, and the latter universe is starting to terrify me.
Hello. I have never read a single DC comic (unless squirrel girl counts) and my only exposure to the batfam is the Lego Batman Movie and Tumblr. Here is my pitch for a new comic.
Quite a bit that I've seen is that Bruce, in later comics, is becoming a worse and more manipulative person, especially towards Jason and Tim. Why don't we play into this, and make him worse, intentionally?
I propose a limited edition run, set in an alternate timeline where Bruce becomes a worse and worse father, and then a worse and worse person. In Comic 1, maybe we end with killing the Joker: breaking the moral he is most loyal to.
From there, he will progressively and steadily get worse and worse until he unrecognisable, until someone (Dick, maybe?) dramatically reveals the truth to him: that he's turning into what he's supposed to hate and supposed to fight.
Idk, this has just been a thought in my mind since I've seen people talk about how much they want Bruce to actually be a good father and person in future runs.
a couple of days ago I had one of the greatest honors of seeing one of 5 of the very first superman comics in person and one of the first batman comics as well. The superman comics are valued at 5 million dollars MINIMUM and I was able to see one of the oldest ones SIGNED BY BOTH OF THE SUPERMAN CREATORS AND ITS LITERALLY VALUED AT PRICELESS as a comic book collector I was never so speechless
I LOVE BATMAN OKAY??? And we as a society do not talk about Bruce "Brucie" Wayne enough. Who else is doing it like him? Zero braincell himbo of a persona. Would give a cashier $300 in tip. And he's Batman. Never seen a man with more care, heart, hope, and inability to do anything half-assed. He's givin' a hundred percent or nothing. Man of an expanding number of kids? He's literally a single mom. PEAK!
